My daughter and I decided to try Andale Andale. We had low expectations for several reasons. The place has been several other restaurants in the past few years, we are from TX and miss real Mexican, and then throw in small town skepticism. Both of us felt guilty. Zuri, our server was over the top good. Best of all she did not know how great she was. Clearly the kitchen staff was also great as they accommodated beautifully letting me have two different enchiladas, with two different sauces, etc. The flavor was great, presentation beautiful, the restaurant was super clean, service excellent, and the meal was very affordable.

Went and had lunch a couple of months ago and the food was just boring and bland. Expected more.

The food at this hidden spot is excellent. Living on the east side we don't have many choices that are good. This place excede my expectations. The torta Cubans was excellent and my friends had wet burrito with birria and Chile relleno and they all said it was excellent. Be prepared to eat as they have huge portions. I will definitely back!!

Went here to support our local restaurants. This place has been many restaurants over the years so I was hesitant. Also, little town food joints aren't often great. This was wonderful! I had the wet burrito plate with asada. The green sauce was sensational. Tart and complex. The burrito was massive with plenty of asada. I took half home for later. Also ordered the nachos with birrio. (shredded beef) The plate was BEAUTIFUL! The beef was tasty. The portions huge. Veggie burrito was also ginormous. Very filling. Margaritas were great. I had strawberry and my boys has virgin lime and blackberry. Came in "fancy" glasses that they enjoyed. Our waitress was so friendly and welcoming. She recommended the wet burrito and I am happy she did. We will definitely be back

If I could give this place more stars I would! Fast, fresh, friendly. Adapted to my vegetarian request, without additional cost. Cheese wasn't the main ingredient. I'll be a regular and will bring my friends!

Food was good. Drinks excellent. Service was mostly awesome. I think the skeleton crew was the only reason I give them a 4 vs 5 star. I would most certainly be back.

Great restaurant. Food is always fresh and they are very good about customizing things as vegan/vegetarian options. Fajitas, enchiladas, menudo and shrimp diabla are some of my favs.

If you've ever lived in a small town you're probably aware of what I've coined, "Small Town Restaurant Syndrome". Restaurants in small towns are not know for the high quality of food. There tends to be too much of a tendency "settling for", or "it'll be good enough". The Estacada and Sandy area is no exception to this. I also say this coming from a family that once owned a restaurant/bar in this area. This is why I was so excited and surprised to find how good the food was at Andale Andale. As the previous reviewer said, this location was originally the Clubhouse Drive-In back in the 70's and 80's, and it's had nothing but a string of sub-standard failing restaurants since. Highlights; fast, courteous service, well-prepared dishes, authentic Mexican, great salsa/guacamole. Their dishes are minimal in the amount of cheese they use, and authentic cheeses are used where appropriate for Mexican cuisine. Definitely try the Mole! This is a regular for us now, and we regularly recommend them to out of town guests.

If you like good Mexican food. This is the place for you. Shredded beef is awesome and believe it or not the tongue is really good. It tastes like roast beef. But better flavor. The waitress Sam is great and owners are very nice.

I was so beyond happy once I tried the food here. I'd been to every horrible Mexican place in the county as going to give up even trying anymore. Mexican food without cheese as the main ingredient, thank you to the Chef. Everyone knows that in outer Clackamas County your options start to get pretty limited, some of the other restaurants in Estacada prove this point, but not here. The menu is more like one you would see in Southern California. Enchiladas were fantastic as well as the enthusiastic server. Pricing was good. My girlfriend ordered the pork burrito and that was just so so, but mine was so good I still have to give it 5 stars. They are pretty funny and think any white person, gringo, will get burned by the "heat" of the hot salsa. I added some Cholula to mine. I cant even think of a better Mexican place in Portland since La Salsa closed down.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
