Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

Was pleasantly surprised. Following a hard day at the ranch we decided to order Chinese take-out food, so we called in our order to Diamonds Garden Restaurant. The lady who took the order was very pleasant and assured us the order would be ready within 15 minutes. We (3 of us) had Beef Lo Lein, General Tsao's chicken and House Fried Rice, with spring rolls and crab puffs. The portions were enough for 3 meals! But the real treat was the flavor. It was definitely above average at a very reasonable price.

I drove by this place a few times and did not notice it. Was glad I found it on YELP. The restaurant has out dated light blue paint on the outside which makes it appear shabby. The brick face is fine but if the paint on the outside was updated to a trendy color it would stand out more. Surprisingly clean inside and so were the menus! I liked the artwork the panels of lacquered inlay mother of pearl. The little vases with curly bamboo were delightful to look at. The food was fresh and very good. The potstickers were homemade and I tried the Singapore Curry Rice Noodles with Chicken. Very light and spicy. The soup was very good too. I will be back. The restroom was okay and clean enough. I have the opinion that the more attention to updating and cleanliness in any restaurant gives a better feeling to the customers.

Very good Chinese food and quite reasonable lunch menu. Just wished it was closer to me.

All things are relative. This is, after all, Dallas, Oregon. So, the 5 stars refer to anything else Chinese that you can get in the general area. Actually, they also have an American menu and a totally legitimate Japanese Bento box. The main thing about this place is the owner and his wife. These are genuine, hard working, caring folks who really have no life apart from the restaurant. They love the place and it shows in everything they do. Their care for their customers is like nothing else in the area. Oh, yes, they also serve food. It is good standard variety Americanized Chinese done fresh and with passion. It i actually worth the drive from Salem. Give it a try!

2 1/2 stars- was ok. Service was very good, went there for lunch. Good price but for even better Chinese food, it's back to the ole fave, right next door at Hong Kong.

Yum! Hard to find great Chinese in this area, but this place rates! We are very selective but everything was wonderful! Great flavors, not greasy, good service, fair portion and prices. We will be back!

I love the lunch special at this restaurant. $5 gets you an entree, soup, tea, and a choice of either a spring roll or two wontons with cream cheese and crab. The entrees are good-sized and there are quite a few choices on the menu. Everything I've tried has been delicious. I prefer Diamonds Garden to the other, bigger Chinese restaurant just up the street, not that that one isn't good, but I just don't like it quite as much.

This place is going downhill. Got some sesame chicken and vegetable chow mein to go. Chicken was heavily breaded and covered in a yucky sauce. Chowmein had 95% bamboo shoots, a couple if snow peas and shredded carrots. Very dissatisfied and will NOT anything from there again.
