Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

We eat here once a week or so and the food is always great. Portion sizes are huge. I love the General Tso chicken but it is different then most. All breast meat with a lighter sauce. Everything tastes fresh and prices are very reasonable.

I love the food here. The people are so friendly and the prices are cheap but that doesn't take away from the food. The food is amazing! We eat here Atleast once a week. Best Chinese in dallas and the valley I believe. I have been to many Chinese resturant and this one is beyond the best. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Husband and I ate here on our way home from the coast. We stopped because the parking lot was full and we figured the food must be good, too. Wrong. I should've checked with Yelp first, but we were tired and in a hurry. Good things: Our server Micaela, was excellent. She was efficient and friendly and we were very impressed. The place was clean. The servings were large and the food was hot. However: Sweet sour chicken? Breaded chicken pieces covered with a little sauce. Chow mein? Mostly bean sprouts with some dried and mushy chow mein noodles on the bottom. Crab puffs were chewy and hard to eat. Husband's shrimp was okay, but he also got the "chow mein" and didn't eat much of it. The sweet sour pork was better than my chicken. We're used to really good Chinese food, and this was really disappointing. We won't be back.

Service was fast, and our server was very nice. Our sweet and sour chicken and General Tso's chicken was ok, but just that. No veggies in dish to speak of, just the meat and rice. Egg roll was a little greasy. Not bad, but not special either.

I eat here quite often, the service is always decent/good depending on how busy it is, and the food is always, without fail, excellent, I have never once experienced a poor dining experience or ordered something I have not enjoyed, definitely worth the price for the portions received, great job Chens!

People in Dallas are deprived from good Asian food. I ordered their chow mein, and it's actually just stir-fry bean sprouts with some Chinese BBQ pork and dried chow mein noodles! OMG, I've never had anything like that before when I ordered chow mein! And, what in the world is "mar-far" chicken? It's actually breaded fried chicken pieces with sweet and sour sauce. Overall, the prices were decent for its food options and the service was really great. I will return if I'm ever craving for Chinese in the Dallas area. And, I will know never to ever order their chow mein again. I will def stick to Portland for better Asian food cuisines!

okay note to self.......you dont like the basic chinese food mar far, sweet and sour.......next time you attemp to grab a bite and pull into what is near.....think again Desiree!!! My son totally enjoyed it but what kid wouldnt enjoy sweet and sour chicken. Also, being a former server myself, the young man that worked there needs to be trained on how to clean a table off properly. Please sir dont ever pick the dirty glasses up by the rim that some patrons mouth has been on and then bring me my food. There is many nasty diseases out there....

Well, small-town cheap Chinese food. Not much else to say.... I've eaten here for lunch a couple of times now with friends. For $5 or $6, you get a large pile of food, freshly prepared. Nothing especially interesting or exciting, though. The General Tso's chicken is basically sweet and sour chicken with a different sauce (instead of an interesting sauce-infused tender coating). And the sauce is thin and lacking the tanginess I associate with GT chicken. Service is good. Sometimes you can find a diamond in the rough in a place like this. Chen's is more like industrial-grade cubic zirconium.

Food was average, price was average, service was lousy. Won't return.
