I like Panera. Stopped here on the way for a college tour with the kids. This particular location would not be my favorite. Very tiny and dangerous parking lot shared with other businesses. The inside is narrow and not that large. Food, well, it's Panera and it has the standard fare of sandwiches, pastas and soups. I know the types of things I like from there and that's what I got, kids got the pasta dishes and were satisfied, and of course, they loved the brownie I got for them. Other than location, it's a good place for a meal.

As usual, I've tried just about everything on the menu at least once, though I have to admit I don't do vegetarian dishes. I didn't climb to the top of the food chain just to eat plants... I felt that it was overpriced for just salad, but they are filling and have plenty of protein to make a balanced meal and the sandwiches aren't bad. A solid 3 stars. Not awesome, but not terrible either. Still, they do have some really good flavor. They have free wi-fi and its a good place to hang and chill. Their rewards program isn't bad as you get a free birthday pastry and fairly frequently they load you up with a $2 off a salad or sandwich offer. The desserts are awesome and breads are fantastic. Often there will be bakery samples that you can try if you're curious about how something will taste. My personal favorites are: the Asian sesame chicken salad, the Fontina grilled cheese sandwich, the Fuji chicken salad, the steak and blue cheese chopped salad, and the strawberry poppyseed chicken salad. I recommend trying these if you try anything at all.

I use to not be the biggest fan of Panera. I think it was the idea that it seemed like it was another one of those chain places that just seemed to serve dishes with nothing special. I remember going there once and it was ok. BUT as of a month ago I began to really like this place. They've amped up their dish selection and advertised them which made me think to give them another try. I've become really into their Power Kale Salad (I've really begun to love kale lately which is really what drew me) and I really like their "Choose 2" deal. I am also able to customize my meals to my particular taste buds which is very nice as I can be a fairly picky eater sometimes. Each time I've ordered to-go and the online ordering process is very user-friendly. My food is almost always ready by the time I get there even when I did show up a little early. The staff is friendly. I will most likely continue to come here.

High end sandwich place to go to for people looking for a nice sit down place. They have a nice selection of baked goods as well. I definitely recommend the panini sandwiches, especially the Chicken Chipotle. Other good choices are the bagels and the special cream cheeses. Asiago and Cinnamon Crunch bagels are delicious.

Convenient location on 4th and Harrison in the former Blockbuster Video site. Modern Contempary decor with lots of seating. Service is friendly and professional... As far as the food is concerned, the menu options are huge with an abundance of sandwiches, soups and bakery items. This is a must visit if your on your way to an Oregon State event. My recommendations are the Big Kid's Cheese Sandwich or the Fuji Apple Chicken Salad.

Terrible choice. I was on a college tour, helping my little cousin decide which college to attend. Naturally, we tried the local food options and being from Hawaii - we don't have some major fast food spots - we chose this Panera. Bad choice!!! I ordered the turkey BLT type sandwich and turkey chilli. Ate it all. Drove back to Portland. 3 hours later, violently threw it all up and ended up spending my last night in PDX in the ER with food poisoning.

Got the soup, sandwich, and your choice of side. It was amazing! At first it doesn't look like a lot when you get it, esp if you're hungry like I was. But I was wrong! After eating the soup with the sandwich I was surprisingly full. Didn't try any of the pastries yet, but I will definitely be back to pick up a couple and try it. Overall, a very good place to stop if you want something hot and filling if you're in Corvallis when it's chilly!

I always try to like Panera bread, but I am always disappointed with the food, especially for how expensive it is. I had a half grilled cheese and when I got it it was barley cooked, soggy, and gross. I have never had a great experience... Good if no other option .

I stopped eating here because I had so much trouble with the Card that is supposed to give you good deals. It kept going to my mom's e-mail at her house rather than mine. I gave up on the Card and the restaurant.

After walking about for a bit in the cold, drizzly weather, this seemed to be a good bet to drop in for a coffee and pastry. I have been to a few Paneras in SoCal, but I can't remember if I have been to one in Oregon or not. This one appears to be a trendy place for OSU students to study their textbooks and write term papers while listening to bland music on the sound system. I know I was in here for at least a half hour, but cannot name one song that was playing. As I had eaten earlier and was still rather full, I chose a small square of shortbread and a cup of coffee. There were 4 brews on tap that day to choose from: Light, Dark, De-Calf, and Hazelnut. I do not like dark or flavored brews so I opted for the Light. It was still too dark for my taste, so I added some hot water and half 'n half. This made it quite palatable and I went off to find a small half-booth table in the corner. I was not impressed with the shortbread. It was not buttery or sweet enough. It was more like some pie crusts I have had. After about half of the square I gave up and left the rest. I have had their apple cream cheese pastry a few times before, and am very happy with that choice, but I had felt I was too full to enjoy it this time. Next time I will just take one to go. If you like Paneras, then you'll like this one.

There is something about service in Oregon, they aren't anywhere as fast as Californians but they really so it with a smile, the cashier was overly nice and accommodating as well as the employees at the food pickup station, really makes me wonder why they are sooooo happy and Californians are so bitter and short. Service made the experience great even though they were out of my go to soufflé.

Their Mac and cheese is out of this world! I go here just for that. Also their tomato soup is awesome. I love their fruit pastry also. Salads are great. My fiance likes their sandwiches. I'd go back for sure!

Great sandwiches, salads, soups, and bakery items. I loved the whole grain bagette, but had a sandwich while I was there. Paneras are GREAT, but this was even better than most. They try to get out your order in under 6 minutes. Now that is high quality meals in fast food restaurant timing.

I don't like chain restaurants on principle, but these guys are open at 6:00 a.m. and it's a nice change to get their food instead of McDonald's around the corner. Order at one end, pick up at the other. Had some sort of steak breakfast bagel thing that was okay, nothing special. Looked at the menu and it's pretty limited. Don't know why this place is so popular. Sandwiches, salads, some bagels. Not great.

A clean, well lighted place to enjoy a pastry and a coffee, which is what I and my friends strolled into on our way out to the coast. The pastry (a bearclaw) was light and flavorful with plenty of almond paste inside and the coffee was fine. Ordering cafeteria-style speeds things up, if you're in a hurry. Wi-fi is available so you can surf the net (while pretending you're working on your college paper) while sipping your coffee. All in all, a very passable eatery.

Hearty food... great for those winter months when you want a warm pick-me-up. I usually get a bread bowl with either potato or broccoli cheddar soup. They're bread is to die for. They also have delicious pastries and coffee! Always a safe choice.

Imagine Starbucks and Subway had an unholy lovechild of awesome fast-ish cafe-ish food? That's what Panera is. So if that's what you want from your quick lunch, GO HERE. If you were looking for a more relaxed, less corporate atmosphere downtown you really need to own to that and check out the places on 3rd and 2nd street. This place is fast, the pastries and lunch items are lovely, and the coffee is good too. But it isn't like, gush-worthy. It's a good, solid lunch for about what you'd pay for a Starbucks lunch.

Panera markets itself as the family-friendly bakery store. Their breakfast offerings are exhaustive (and exhausting) Plenty of sweets, some breakfast sandwiches, great coffee. There are socialist realist murals depicting breadmaking. They ALWAYS have a bun in the oven, so it's always fresh!

Love the food. All the soups I've tried so far have been excellent. Sandwiches are all tasty. Don't let a long line scare you off - they move quickly with 4 and sometimes 5 cashiers open. Creamy chicken with wild rice may be my favorite but the broccoli cheddar soup ranks a close second.

Standard food. Expensive. Rude girl at the cashier who seemed to want us gone, but maybe she was having a bad day. Had a great family vibe, though!

Panera is a pretty safe bet if you're looking for a respectable meal at a fair price. They're always pretty quick with the food prep, and I am always satisfied after eating. I will say that this location doesn't have a ton of seating options for groups of more than four people. My group ate lunch there recently and tried to sit with 7 people and had to push a couple of small round top tables together, which worked but wasn't ideal. All in all, I would certainly expect that we will return in the near future.

I like Panera ok. People seem to rave but I hesitate. First and foremost, there are better places in town to go. And by that I mean New Morning Bakery. But Panera does have a good bagel selection that I can appreciate. The service is really friendly and the place is very clean and well-managed. Something that's probably a good thing but I don't like is they have the calorie count posted next to every item. I find this... unnerving... Anyway, it's ok. But I think once the hype dies down it will just be another chain corporate restaurant moms and dads will take their college kids to while they're visiting.

I'm so thrilled to have another fast casual restaurant option here in Corvallis. The menu is huge, and I have yet to either repeat an item or dislike an item. The soups warm my fingers after cold, rainy bike rides, and the coffee is always hot and strong. The service is crazy fast, and the staff is super friendly. Favorites: Broccoli cheddar soup, fiji apple chicken salad and toffee nut cookie Plus: wifi, fireplace, clean bathrooms, great location, kid-friendly options, healthy AND splurge items, great food, great service, affordable Minus: only minor complaint--not a huge fan of the dining room music, but I understand it's vanilla enough to not offend the diverse customer base.
