You know, we went for the first time about a year ago and loved the place. Now we go back about once a month for wings and beers and have never once been even mildly disappointed. Easily the best wings in Corvallis -- nobody else is even close. The service is always exceptional. 1. Go to Jack Okole's 2. Order wings 3. Put them in your belly

Jack Okoles is, by far, my favorite bar in all of Corvallis! When I was a student at OSU, I went to their "Buckin Thursdays" every single week. Now that I am an alumni, I make the drive almost every Thursday from Portland because it is SO worth the drive. The atmosphere is laid back and fun, the $3 mugs of Rolling Rocks are an amazing deal, and everyone who hangs out there is extremely friendly. More than anything, the bartenders are FANTASTIC. They really go out of their way to make you feel welcome, and they try really hard to learn your name right off the bat. Buy a drink from Homer - he has such a warm personality and makes a mean mixed drink (in a good way)! If you're looking for a place that has a great DJ and line/swing dancing environment or if you want a fun, chill place to grab food or drinks, definitely hit up Jacks!

Atmosphere was nice, and we ordered the Philly from the lunch menu. Best Philly I have had in Corvallis! The meat was nicely seasoned and the fries rocked! Will come back again.

If you love country music and dancing Thursday is your day to go to Jacks, big dance floor and lots of people. The Food is pretty good too, lots of choices. Just a fun crowd, the owner is a nice guy.

Upon a visit to Oregon my boyfriend's sister booked Jack Okele's for her big 4-0 Birthday Bash. The venue itself is fairly standard, sports bar feel. The food was all pretty mediocre. The whole "Hawaiin" category confuses me considering their menu mainly consisted of bar type food. Though I did order the Musabi... Musabi - 2.5 stars A lot of rice, spam was cooked well but sauce tasted out of a can and full of sugar. Burger - 3 stars Mediocre. Nothing too special. I ordered the one with japenos (forgot the name) and the boyfriend ordered a standard cheeseburger. Patties were nothing special and buns were a-ok. Tater Tots - 4 stars A yummy snack to start. The place itself was very lively this night because of our private party (the back bar seemed pretty quiet). Bf's sister is a drummer so on this night she invited all her amigos and by the end of the night everyone was in a drum circle in the main room! The owners were very accomodating and servers were friendly. I'd come for a drink but not so much for food.

This is the most underrated place in Corvallis Oregon. You can get an amazing meal for under 10 dollars and get 5 dollar MUGS of craft beer (their Friday special). The drinks are strong and the crowd/staff wait is friendly, social, and diligent! I would suggest the chicken katsu, Korean beef tacos, and there is always amazing Friday night food specials.

More of a 2.5 star. Stopped by this place while in Corvallis. I'm not sure what to say about this place. I think the atmosphere is nice, and wide open so in a way it is a club/bar. But the food which is Hawaiian is not the best I've had. When I think Hawaiian food I'm thinking Loco Moco but I didn't see that on the menu. The menu has a variety of other items that isn't related to the Hawaii, which is nice because we all know that Hawaiian food isn't always the best food around. The GF and I had the Spam Musbi, which was alright, a little cold but it wasn't bad. The GF had the Ripper dog which we were told that it was a hot dog that is cooked in the fryer which splits open. But the dog while it was shiney due to the oil it didn't show the texture of broken skin and little bubbles that a hot oil would do to a hot dog. I'm thinking the oil wasn't hot enough at all for it to make the skin shrivel enough. Or I might have mis understood how it was prepared. The bartender was nice and he did a good job serving and checking up on us. He recommended a drink for the GF and she really liked it. The kitchen was a bit slow. But that's what happens when you have one cook. The price is fair. I hope this place will do fine. I think since it's new it still looking for it's niche in a college town. Once school starts it should start picking up. The name is odd. Okole means butt in Hawaiian, so really the name sounds like Jack Ass B&G, Jack Butt or Jack Gluteus Maximus,. TV showed Super Market Challange! YEAH!

The owner of Jacks is one of the nicest guys you could ever meet. Food is delicious, from the lumpia to the wings on wing Wednesday's.

Jack Okole's Teriyaki Chicken was excellent and came with white rice and a tasty macaroni salad. It is more like Aomatsu's style than Local Boyz shredded variety and our table liked Jack's the best. They also have Blue Moon on tap as a bonus.

Great place for country line dancing on Thursday and they have good drink specials.

def a sports bar environment w/ one room full of TVs, the bar, & one pool table. the other room is a dining & dance floor. their food is bar food & Hawaiian local twist like spam musubis (spam on rice wrapped in nori, they put a lot of rice but def need to try before you judge). their wings special is also good when you buy the bucket of beer. overall their food is worth the price, got their nachos & spaghetti before & was huge!

Great drink specials, and the bartender Homer does his best to remember names and make sure you're taken care of. Their late night food menu is good, and reasonably priced. Check out the $4.50 wings on Wednesdays! I think this place is still trying to define itself. It's not quite a hawaiian joint, its not a club, its not a restaurant. I'm just not sure. They need to do something with the huge open space in the front, I never see anyone in there and it could be used a lot more efficiently. Overall, a good place that's trying to find a niche in Corvallis. I hope they make it, because it's becoming a regular spot to hang out with friends.

Had their lunch special of the day, Nachos, with ground beef. Top layers were pretty decent, bottom layer was swimming in a quite deep pool of grease. Probably came with the ground beef; maybe they don't drain the fat and I got a scoop from the bottom of the pot?

We had a wonderful time at Jack's. Homer, one of the waiters, remembered my name as well as the names of everyone in the party after a few months had lapsed. We enjoyed the wings. They are a great deal for the value, and the tater tots are very tasty! We will be going back shortly.
