Cirellos is a comfortable little pizza joint near the HP campus. It offers good pizza, sandwiches and brews. It has a small salad bar as well. I liked the pizza well enough, but it wasn't anything special to me. I stopped ordering it. I should note, though, they offer a whole-wheat crusted pizza that seems to very popular. I've never tried it, though. I order the meatball sandwich now. I LOVE this thing. The meatballs don't taste like they were store-bought, but they are (I asked). The sandwich is assembled without sauce, and thrown in the pizza oven to melt the cheese and make the bread crusty and good. Its served with chips or potato salad and a bowl of marinara sauce to dip it in. Thats the part I like best - the dipping. I like being able to control how much sauce I'm getting - I find I like it best with just a little! Overall, this is a good lunch place. I enjoy it, always get good service, and haven't found anything to complain about.

Best pizza in the Willamette Valley!! Go for the sausage and onions!!

Cirello's reminds me of the place that I worked at when I was in high school. It has delicious thin crust pizza and a few other menu items as well like pasta and I think a few sandwiches. They have good beers on tap, and the place has a very mellow, laid back vibe to it. Small salad bar, get your own plates, grab your own foil to wrap up your leftovers...great pizza and a relaxing time to be had at Cirello's!

My favorite pizza in town. Why just four instead of five stars, then? Too limited in hours, and sometimes impossible to get ahold of on the phone. Also, though the toppings are perfectly good, American Dream and Woodstocks have more topping options. That said, it's still the best pizza in Corvallis. Also, you can buy their dough to make your own pizza, and unlike a lot of other pre-prepared doughs, it comes out great, even in a crappy normal apartment oven without a pizza stone.

Best pizza in town. I don't know when they started doing delivery but we are a fan of food that comes to to our door! American Dream changed their menu about the same time I realised that Cirellos delivers and we have really started to get Cirellos much more. The pizza toppings selection is big and they do have linguisa, one of my favourites. The crust is the best in town. I do not care for red sauce on pizza and they have some options that are delightful! The foghorn with Linguica added is one of my favourites. Also The Rinz with its salt crusted edge is fantastic. My wife is usually not a big crust fan but on The Rinz she enjoys it, she says the salted crust remands her of the warm pretzels. The service is friendly but slow. It has been slow both eating in and delivery. When I ordered delivery last time he did not give me a specific time but implied a time MUCH sooner that it arrived. It is one thing to have a long delivery time like AD but to imply a sooner time and then not be within 1/2 hr of that is frustrating. If he had told me it was going to be an hour right off the bat I would have been ok with that. The food is great you just have to not be in a rush. The service is friendly and selection good. Prices are about the same as the rest of the independent pizza places in town.

Flavor good, delivery time acceptable, crust - like wet felt. After refrigerating and putting individual slices in the toaster oven, crust got crispy and good. But right out of the box, expect all your toppings to be in your lap!

Better off just getting a frozen pizza. Go to the Dream or Woodstocks for a good slice of pizza.

Decent crust but its ALWAYS soggy in the center out. Topping slide off. Its ok. My husband likes it so it say ok...meh...

I heart Cirellos. The pizza is the best in Corvallis. The crust is ten times better than American Dream, and they have so many toppings to choose from. Great beer on tap!.. and Kirsten Studley is a pimp. ;)

I really liked the salad bar and pizza square special. The pizza square came with 2 toppings, I got broccoli and feta. The broccoli was plentiful but it could have used more feta. the salad bar was small but full of everything I liked, I even discovered that pineapple on a salad is pretty awesome! The regular pizza I tried wasn't amazing but it was good enough to come back.

The "other" pizza joint which is there when you are sick of everywhere else in town. The pizza is good but just don't plan on taking any home, as the crust will be soggy before you leave the restaurant. I'm generally pleased when I eat here but occasionally the staff is a bit too busy passing the time to properly make a pizza to order and it has to be remade.

My fiance and I went there today. We had terrible service. Despite the fact we were the only people in there and we were happy find our favorite beer on tap, the person taking our order wanted nothing to do with us. We ordered the lunch special with a mini pizza and salads. Shortly after sitting down with our salads he informs us the oven was never turned on that day, so unless we want to wait an additional 40 min just to get it heated up, he was going to refund our money. Sorry no pizza...at a pizza place! Well...okay, but we are hungry. Do you have any thing else? Did I have to ask? geez... We decided we would share some pasta. Spaghetti with meat sauce. Nothing special let me tell you. The only reason I'm giving them any stars at all, is because they have our favorite beer on tap, and the pizza is decent which I know from previous visits. I just wish I could get some better service... I don't even feel welcome when I go in there.

Continue to please! While American Dream makes some wonderful pizza the RJC from Cirellos is the best pizza in Corvallis.

Best pizza in town for sure. Good crust good toppings.

Geez this stuff is a gut bomb. Ive only ordered cheese and pepperoni, but I ordered it light pepperoni. There was still so much grease on the thing it was dripping off the pizza and running down my arm. I do have to give them credit for having a product that tastes different from all the other places around town, but just too much grease for me.

  • Matt T.

I'm giving them a below average rating because of the lack of consistency and quality in their pizza. The first pepperoni pizza I ordered for delivery arrived in a reasonable time and smelled great. That's where the experience ended. It was so greasy and tasted like one of those "chef Boyardee" pizzas in a box that you made as a kid. It was a complete disappointment. It did taste slightly better as leftovers the next day, but still wasn't that great. My second experience with Cirello's was a little tastier, but as one reviewer pointed out, the crust becomes soggy very quickly. By the time it arrived, it was a very limp pizza. In addition, it took longer than usual because they burned the first one. I think your best bet is to order and eat thier pizza in the restaurant. Any time letting it sit and it will go to... well, let's just say it won't be great.

I though the salad bar was refillable, but according to the brusque man making the pizza it isn't. So I paid almost four dollars for the smallest bowl I've ever seen in my entire life. It was less than half a cup of salad, I seriously thought they were joking when they said you could only go through once. We won't be going back ever again!

It's the best pizza in Corvallis, but that's not necessarily saying too much!

Best pizza in town, with provisos: the crust is, and has always been, unpredictable. Often soggy. It has the best flavor of any pizza joint in town's crust, but depending on the toppings chosen (beware the mushrooms and peppers! Aiiiieee!) and the length of time the pie is left in the box, you may end up with a squashy mess. HEARSAY TIME: I have heard the owner is lax about his "organic and local" ingredient claim. Not cool if so. But unless things have changed drastically, they still make their dough and sauces from scratch, with nothing synthetic or pre-packaged used. You can't say that about most places these days. Despite the "crust sog" factor, if I order pizza from anyplace in Corvallis, Cirello's is the only place I'll call.

  • Jonathan W.

Alright, Cirello's, I've had a good slices from you, but also a couple mediocre ones. The lunch special mini-pizza's are the best way to go imo, I love provolone on my little pie, and they have so far come out perfectly baked fairly consistently. 50cent soda on Tuesdays is pretty sweet too. The regular pies have been hit or miss, though they do seem to be pretty close to NY style pizza. Up the consistency a bit and it'd be a solid 4-star.

Best lunch special on spaghetti! Friendly staff and good beer on tap plus I'm watching sports. It doesn't get any better!

We have been long-time consumers of Cirello's pizzas. My husband consumes Wiley's Delight as though he were eating his most beloved food on earth; crunchy crust, great toppings (with an emphasis on meat) and a sauce that delivers. I, however, am writing as a gluten-free eater; their crust for GF is horrible. I want to love it, but, bleh! It tastes like there are old herbs put into the dough...sour and nasty. Eating at Cirello's is like entering the most basic, no-frills pizza joint, which I like. Low overhead has kept the pizza affordable. Because we live too far away, we don't ever order delivery, but hubby most-often does take-out.

I know that I'm spoiled by the east coast, but if someone is going to say their pizza is "New York style," you would expect they would deliver a better crust.

So tasty! Happy hour is a great deal on beer and cider! The Rinz is my favorite pizza!

This used to be the best place in town, but their prices have increased steadily while their service has declined. Lately, on a couple of occasions, I've called trying to place an order more than 30 minutes before their listed closing time, but they say they won't deliver anymore because they're closing early. I'm not surprised their sister business Marzini's went out of business, and now that Market of Choice offers up decent pizza for a reasonable price, I'd be surprised if Cirello's stays in business for much longer. A real shame, because they used to have the BEST pizza in town.

Our family orders pizza every friday night. Recently younger members had lobbied for a new pizza supplier, so we had been trying out Cirellos. The first week, we ordered the pizza, it came in less than 45 minutes and was really good. The next week, things did not go as well. I called, ordered the pizza, the nice kid on the phone advised it would be delivered in "45 minutes to an hour." I hung up at 5:43. By 7:03, the kids were starting to bounce off the walls and I figured I would check on the pizza, maybe the driver got lost. This is essentially how that conversation went: me; Hi, I was calling to check on our pizza. her: Oh,we are really busy tonight, I am sure its on the way. me: Could you check anyway. her: just a minute. (a few minutes later) it should be there in an hour to an hour in a half. me: are you kidding? thats 2 and an half hours for delivery! her: well, we are *really* busy tonight. me: but when i called the guy said it would be here in 45 minutes to an hour. her: well, i don't know what to tell you, he shouldn't have said that. (direct quote) me: i'd like to speak with the manager. her: just a minute (a few minutes later) oh the delivery driver just came back. he will deliver your pizza soon. me: I'd still like to talk to the manager. her: hold on. (another few minutes later) he's really busy. he will call you back later. well, the pizza showed up about 15 minutes later around 7:40. the manager never called back. My take on this: Cirrellos has great pizza and seems to have plenty of customers. They made it clear they don't need me, so I will be buying my pizza elsewhere.

Terrible with quoting times for pizza pickup. I waited an extra 40 minutes beyond the 35 I was quoted. Really frustrating. The pizza crust is great - soft top, crisp bottom - and is the only reason this isn't a one star review. I still wouldn't wait 1.5 hours for a small pizza though, especially after being quoted 30 minutes.

  • Lou M.

Honestly, I have never had better pizza than I had tonight! I am a garlic lover and the sausage and salamis were just perfection on the Cirellos special. We just don't feel like you can do better in Corvallis for pizza! We have been coming here since it opened but tonight's pizza surpassed all others.

Great pizza. Love that the deliver outside of Corvallis. They don't skimp on the toppings, the crust and sauce are great. A definite favorite!!

  • HH D.

A college town, Corvallis has a lot of good pizza. Cirello's is my personal favorite, however, bc of its delicious, fluffy crust. The Mediterranean--with feta, red onions, and broccoli--is my pizza of choice, and The Sicilian is my husband's. He adds pepperoni as well. The staff is very accommodating and will take requests and make pizzas no longer on the menu (such as the Mediterranean). We prefer to order over the phone and then pick up the pizza ourselves (usually 20 minutes after placing the order) and take it home or eat in the restaurant bc we have found that when the pizza arrives via delivery service, it is often soggy, perhaps from having to sit around while other orders were delivered first. So the 5-star rating is for pizza picked up or eaten at the restaurant, NOT for delivered pizza.

  • Mandy N.

The pizza toppings taste fresh. Cirello's Pizza knows how to make a real Italian pizza. My rating of only 3/5 is for some other (rather important) reasons: 1. If you say you deliver--keep a set time. Many times we've called and it is before the delivery stop time. They have all the excuses. We're closing early. Nope, the delivery person just left. Sorry, we don't deliver on X days. And the list goes on. 2. If you get delivery often they don't recognize that you are a regular -- although they know you are. And then you can hear them laughing in the background on the phone that "they're calling again." Let me in on the joke and you'd be 4/5. Maybe. 3. If your menu says you have pasta. Then keep the pasta. OR just get someone to change your menu online. Please keep your menu up to date! 4. If you've once had one restaurant go under because of e coli, wouldn't you try your hardest to do nothing more than be the friendliest, go-out-of-your-way to rule the pizza in Corvallis? The pizza is that good. Make your customer service match and you'll be great.

After reading some posittive review, we gave this place the very first try last time. We ordered Pineapple Express medium. That was really good. Good flavor, good crust, and good topping combination. We enjoyed our order a lot until today we reheat the three slices of leftover pizza. My son found a hair mixed in the sausage. That was really yucky! Really disgusting! We hope we could have seen that hair before we ate it! Wear your hair net when you bake! We don't like any extra flavor Please!

I cannot get enough of Cirello's pizza. My husband and I used to eat here ten years ago when we were students at OSU, even though it wasn't really a college hangout, and it still isn't, but we think the pizza is the best in town. Whenever we are back in town and in the mood for pizza, this is our go-to. We used to order a Foghorn with pepperoni and would wake up still tasting garlic the next morning (a good thing in my opinion!) Now we usually order the Rinz and add bacon- the bacon is nice slices rather than bits, the herb-salted crust is amazing, and the generous scoops of fresh ricotta are a delicious texture. The prices are a little high for pizza, but I feel like the quality can't be beat and is worth the premium. Their happy hour prices are also the best in town and they have a great selection of local beers (and 2 Towns Cider!).

I think Cirello's is the best pizza place in Corvallis (this is declared after extensive taste testing). I really like the crust and the sauce, which is a little spicy and definitely not one note like most pizza sauces. They also have a great toppings selection. I usually prefer customizing my toppings but I actually like the suggested pies at Cirello's, especially The Rinz. I've only gotten take out so I can't speak to the atmosphere or service, but the cashier and whoever answers the phone are friendly.

Very tasty pizza in a clean, family-friendly environment. They have a small salad bar, too. Simple, local pizza place.

Great pizza but customer service need significant work. They act like you inconvenience them when you call in to place order. Would get 5 stars if your customer service was equal to quality of product

OOOOOKAY I've waited and waited to write this because I have a conflict of interest. I worked here for six years, But, now that I have moved on I think it's fair and time that I give Cirello's an excellent review. I have been going to Cirello's since I was a little kid and it's always been one of my favorites. The crust and sauce beat the pants off any other pizza in town. There is a vast selection of toppings and take it from me, most are prepared in-house. The sausage is really something special. And of course, the people who work there are amazing and they enjoy their jobs. It's a good place to work and now it feels like my second home. The clientele mostly consists of townies-- that's how you know it's good. The location kind of sucks but it's worth the travel. Eat here. You'll be back. :)

If you want pizza in Corvallis that doesn't involve weird crust, Cirello's is the only game in town. (Pizza Hut, Little Caesar's, and Domino's don't count.) They also have excellent pasta choices, and free wi-fi.

  • M F.

My family has tried nearly all the pizza places in Corvallis and this one definitely takes the crust. Great pizza crust and sauce and they don't skimp on the toppings. We eagerly look forward to our return.
