Dropping a star for service. Drove down from Salem last night and took the kids out for dinner. Yes, it was crowded and loud---but it's that kind of place on a Saturday night in a college town. On the plus side: Instead of a vibrating coaster to alert you when your table is ready, give them your cell number & they text you. One text to say you are now on the list, another 30 mins later calling you to "Come and get it". Seated on the covered patio. Still loud, but at least we could talk without shouting. Chilly out? No problem. Nice overhead propane heaters kept my wig warm. Although the cold draft still snuck in between gaps in the siding from time to time. Star deduction for service: I didn't bring my wallet in with me. I've got a daughter attending OSU. No ID, no beer. Yes, I could have gone out and gotten it, but really? Look at the gray in my goatee? Everyone at our table was incredulous. To me, it was a matter of principle on customer service. And yet, I realize the same argument could be said for carding everyone. No exceptions. Rules are rules. But it was a textbook case of not being able to see the forest for the trees and my loss was easier to bear (no beer) than theirs (telling everyone on Yelp and the loss of a sale). But after waiting 30 mins for a table, parking a block away....no, I wasn't going to go out to my car and get my wallet. So I had water. Their loss. I was still going to enjoy my meal & time with friends & family. To be fair, our server was polite and you could tell he felt awkward about it. He did say he could see if a manager would be willing to come over & override the no ID rule. But lesson learned: it was too late for that. He'd lost the sale and my vote of confidence. See previous reviews on food, etc. The only other update I have is on boneless wings. Everybody (table of six) wanted boneless. Wait...let me rephrase that. The MAJORITY wanted boneless so I caved. Yes, boneless are easier (neater) to eat but they are more like chicken nuggets. Heavily breaded. As such, I don't think the flavor of the sauces are as infused into the meat as you would get with the regular wings. Next time, I'll hold out for regular wings and get messy with reckless abandon. Hey, if you're gonna eat bad for you...make it count and eat what tastes the best!

I go the this Buffalo Wild wings all the time. I got an email with free wings for my birthday, and when I went to redeem it, the young lady at the counter , Jillian, was very rude and short with me. This was after she abruptly hung up on me when I called ahead to order. She called over her manager Michael who did not acknowledge me, did not even look at me, and was very cold. I've never seen the manager of a resteraunt act so rude to customers. I thought managers liked having customers, so I'm not sure why he would be so mad that I was at his resteraunt, redeeming my free birthday reward. Obviously if I had a free birthday reward, I am a frequent enough customer, and should have been treated with respect. If corperate is going to send out emails to their members with free wings, they better train their managers and employees to be friendly, and not make the customer feel unwelcome when redeeming it. I felt very uncomfortable in this situation, and this isn't the way to treat a customer, even if they are getting a couple free wings.

Yes, it's a chain, and that's a mortal sin... BUT some places are truly that good. BWW has great wing flavors, tons of beer options and friendly staff. Why not spend your Thursday evenings eating cheap boneless wings???

Pretty similar to any other BWW in food and atmosphere qualities. I love the desert heat dry rub and service is generally quite fast. Great place to watch the game(s)

I have been visiting Buffalo Wild Wings a few times a month since it has it opened in Corvallis. Usually the service is great, the servers are generally attentive and check in on my table several times throughout the meal. The wings are usually evenly coated in delicious sauces and seasonings. I expect a lot of people to be there, and for many different kinds of sports to be playing on the large TVs plastering the walls. As a college student, I like to find the best deals for my money. That is why, at least in theory, Buffalo Wild Wings Boneless Wing Thursday promotion seems like a great deal. On Thursdays all flavors of boneless wings are discounted to just $0.65 each. The one caveat is that you must order at least four of each flavor of wing you choose, so the total per flavor is at least $2.60. This is still a low price, but it is good to know ahead of time. Overall, Buffalo Wild Wings Boneless Thursday is a great deal compared to ordering wings on any other day, despite the slow service and long wait times. The Buffalo Wild Wings in Corvallis, Oregon is usually a pretty busy place, but Thursdays around dinner time the wait time is excessive. Just to get a table in the main dining areas the wait time usually exceeds an hour, and even in the bar the seating is very limited. When I visited Buffalo Wild Wings my girlfriend and I got the last table available in the bar. We waited about five minutes before our server came over to check our IDs and another seven minutes before our drinks were delivered and our order was taken. We ordered four wings in five different kinds of sauces (20 wings total): honey barbeque, garlic parmesan, sweet barbeque, hot barbeque, and wild. We waited about half an hour until they were brought to the table. I would advise not going to Boneless Wing Thursday if you are starving or are expecting very fast service, as you will spend a great deal of time waiting. There is a lot to do while waiting, however, which makes the wait time seem shorter. The walls of Buffalo Wild Wings are covered in TVs playing different sports games. During this trip, however, there were only three different channels playing on the TVs in the bar area. There is an interactive trivia game, and they play current music over their speaker system. All of this leads to an upbeat, albeit loud environment. It is difficult to keep conversation flowing in this kind of atmosphere, but would be ideal for any sports fans to watch their favorite teams while they eat. After about twenty minutes of waiting for our food our server came to fill up our water glasses and to let us know that our food should be out shortly. After we got our food delivered she came to check that we had everything we needed but did not come back to check on us again until she asked if we were ready for the check. Another server came by to fill our waters once but our glasses were left empty for a long time (which made eating the spicy wings more of a challenge). I would have liked to have a more attentive server but I understood that the restaurant was very busy. The food itself was tasty, but the quality of the wings seemed a little less impressive than when I have visited Buffalo Wild Wings for a meal that was not during the special wing deal. The wings were not evenly covered in the sauce and some of them were only about half way coated. The wings were still flavorsome but could have been better with just a little more sauce. The wing flavor selection is great, with over 20 different sauces and seasonings to choose from I think that most people will be able to find a wing for them. I just wish that the quality of the wings made up for the long wait. The value of Boneless Wing Thursday, however, did make up for the long wait. For twenty wings our total was $13.00. On a regular day the same twenty wings (a large size boneless wing order) would cost $18.99. Just by taking advantage of Boneless Wing Thursday we were able to save $5.99. During this trip to Buffalo Wild Wings for Boneless Wing Thursday the level of service was a little lower than I have grown accustomed to during my past experiences. I also would have liked to have a greater variety of games to watch on the many TVs. The wings could have also been sauced more evenly. But, the value of the meal during the Boneless Wing Thursday made up for the small problems and would recommend this promotion to anyone who would like to save a little money on some great tasting food.

It's a b-dubs... In a college town... so, woohoo? Nothing much new or different here in comparison to other BWW's around the US, but the one nice thing here is the happy hour menu is expanded more than at other locations. They also have team trivia on Wednesday nights which was awesome - and much more fun than the standard handheld device trivia. If I'm in the area, on a random Wednesday night, I might find my way back here...

Why do people enjoy these meatless dry wings covered in corn syrup. Go anywhere else for better food.

Waited too long for our straightforward orders, salad with chicken and chicken wings. Friday night not very crowded. Maybe I know why. We will see how the food goes. All the TV's are nice.... Looking for positive things to say. Waitress was nice.

I love coming to a place that is familiar no matter where you are! They also recently changed their ranch cup sizes. Lol I know who cares about the size right? Well I love that I don't run out of ranch anymore! One is plenty to finish your meal! I rarely order a well drink since every time I order one, it's pretty weak. Not enough alcohol in the well drinks :/

Had to wait 15 minutes to see a waitress for drinks and did not even get an apology. Bathroom was a mess. Dinning floor was a mess. Wait staff unenthusiastic. Prices just keep going up. Far cry from the BWW I knew in Ohio. Asked for extra dripping wet wings and they came out barely covered. Every time I come here the service gets worse. Had to go find someone to get us eating utinsils. At least the waitress brought a large cup of extra sauce. Probably won't be back.

Hard to review a corporate restaurant but this is by far the worst Buffalo I've gone to. Maybe it's just because they're new and working out the kinks, but the service was HORRIBLE here. Love the Buffalos in DFW, TX but this one is one that I will never return to. Our waitress got half the order wrong and took FOREVER. Our drink were constantly empty. Too bad, because as a company as a whole, I love Buffalo.

The servers try to be nice and helpful, but the wait time on the food and additional service is very long. We went on Sunday night when the restaurant was half empty. We waited more than 10 min until the first waiter came to the table to offer us a drink. It is always fun to watch all the games and hang out here, but they really need to improve on their service level and speed.

Loud, crowded, and a long wait for a couple of sandwiches and a small order of wings (though to be fair, several large parties did come in just before our party of two). The noise level made conversation difficult. The food was just ok. I thought a bit spendy for chain restaurant quality food.

Great environment for a true sports bar All our servers are very good at the best customer service for the sports fans!

Waitress accidentally seated our party at in the bar section, even though we had a minor in the group. When she carded everyone, she realized her mistake, told us to wait where we were, and went to set up a new table. While she was gone the manager came over and treated us like criminals, was incredibly rude. The food was practically indelible, the service was TERRIBLE, and the cost was meh. This is the second time that husband and I have been there, and the second time our food and service have been cold and underwhelming. Don't waste your time on this overpriced, under-serviced, hell hole.

Simple review.. Service was poor during weekday lunch. 20-25 min to get a few wings. Had to get back to the office, but tried to flag down someone to give us a bill, could not get anyone to do it. Finally just added up what we figured it was on our phone, tossed down some cash and walked out. Won't be returning.

Typical WildWings fare. Can get crowded at times, especially during and around OSU games. Wait can exceed 40-60 minutes. Service is all over the place...can be very good, or as I recently suffered, horrendous. Not sure, but appears "new" servers start on Mondays, as I have had terrible service a few times recently, on Mondays, from what appeared to be newbies. Manager can be unresponsive. Yet, a few servers are wonderful. Good luck!

Yummy! Teriyaki wings and soft pretzels are my pick! This place is always busy, especially when a good game is on. My fiance and I love to go here on Thursday evenings when boneless wings are 65 cents a piece. The wait staff here is slow and not very knowledgeable. I would guess it's because they are always so busy but everytime we go here we end up with the wrong dipping sauce, or it takes forever to get our food, or they forget that we are even sitting there. But I will suffer through if it means I get those delicious teriyaki wings!

I went for my birthday dinner and was sorely disappointed. Mine and my mother's entrées were cold and the service was very poor. We were a large group with only one waitress and so we got very little attention. Normally I am a fairly easy customer to please but we went 45 minutes waiting for a water refill. On top of that my wifes wings tasted like they were freezer burned. Ultimately I feel like the place is very overrated and very unprepared for large group parties.

Buffalo Wild Wings in Corvallis, OR is a pretty decent sports bar; huge, with billboard sized TV's and many of them. This is a college town, so it seems to always be busy! I am not really a chicken wing person, but when paired with their reasonable selection of brews, it is pretty good. However, for value I think I'll be limiting my patronage to happy hour, though even then it seems like a lot to be paying for chicken wings!

Went to BWW for the first time tonight. I felt bad cheating on my regular wing joint, Jack Okole's, but we were snowed in and needed somewhere we could walk to. So...the service was great, the number and quality of TVs was exceptional, and the beer selection was surprisingly good...but, the wings were just really average. They were smaller, more expensive, and not nearly as good as those at Jack Okole's. Honestly, I was surprised -- they do a lot of things right at BWW, but when your main selling point is wings, they should be exceptional and honestly they were just average. On top of that, I think everything was overpriced by about a dollar or so. It may not sound like much, but when you have several beers and a few orders of wings (etc.) across your table, the end result is a bill that is $10-$15 more than what it should be. We may go back sometime -- I can see that if you had a big group that wanted to watch several different games at the same time, this would be a good venue -- but at the end of the day, there are better local places to drink beer, watch sports, and eat bar food. By the way, there was a somewhat odd vibe for a Saturday evening. The place was buried in high school kids. Probably half to two-thirds of the non-bar area was full of 15-18 year old kids. Not necessarily bad, but a bit odd.

Nothing better than the other restraints, but still pretty damn good! Waiters and waitresses very nice.

Good food. Great screens for viewing the games. Tip....Don't pay the bill until you are ready to leave. Because it seemed like our waitress ignored us or even looking our way after paying the bill.

BWW is most notably unique in the atmosphere it offers. Lots of TVs and mostly sports focused. It's a louder, sociable place to hang with friends and chow down. The staff is great, really nice and friendly. Lots of hospitality and willing to be flexible and cater to you when needed. The food is decent and during happy hour and Tues/Thurs wing specials, food quantity is appreciable. Compared to the rest of Corvallis restaurants and factoring in price, quantity, taste, service, and atmosphere, B-dubs is the top pick for me on Tues/Thurs happy hours.

Ok, It's well established I'm a fat guy. And fat guys like wings. And beer. So naturally I went today for the grand opening. And shit was this huge place packed. I mean packed. And huge. It's like a walmart of grease. Buffalo Wild Wings is what it is. It's not fancy, it's not upscale. It's shit that's bad for you served with giant glasses of beer. I went for a boneless platter because I have a big beard and didn't want to spend a fortnight cleaning the goo out of it. I had spicy garlic, asian zing, and mango habanero. All were pretty tasty, but the habanero really lit me up. Holy cow I'm going to have an interesting morning. I may buy a gallon of vanilla from winco and stick my ass in it. The beer selection is pretty decent. No competition for the local brewpubs, but not bad for a national chain. The urinals had TVs over them. This made me want to drink more. Now here's the bad side. The price. I went at happy hour and the bill was still ridiculous. You could easily go to a much, much nicer place for the money. If it was more reasonable I'd hang out here more often.

Buffalo Wild Wings, what a place...it really seems to have a unique atmosphere. Pros: - Open late (around 11pm, which is remarkable for the location - 9th St.) - Fantastic sports environment - Friendly staff (Ask for Trevor, he will treat you remarkably, and that's a promise) - Unique sauces, which go well with the wings Cons: - Severely overpriced for what you're paying for. Keep in mind like many other establishments (such as Starbucks), you're paying for the atmosphere and not actually the food itself. I find myself coming in to pay $4.50 for a bottle of their sauce and leaving - it generally works itself out better - They charge a cover for most PPV events. I was extremely excited about being able to watch UFC PPV's, but not for a $5 cover. The establishment might as well have not even come in the first place. I don't notice Portland B-Dubs doing this, Corvallis shouldn't either. I understand licensing fees for businesses can be expensive, but it's better to let me in and buy food instead. - It can take quite a while for your food to come out, so be prepared to stay for awhile, even if it's a "to-go" order. - Beer selection is quite limited, especially during happy hour. You're definitely better served elsewhere where the selection is wide open.

Went back on a Friday night last week and the crowds had thinned out. We had great service and the food was as to be expected. They have a sweet beer special right now that gets you 3 22oz Red Hooks in a bucket for $14. Beats the hell out of their $7 20oz drafts at the bar!

This place only opened about a week ago, so some of the reviews at first are probably going to be horrible. Yes we had a few slight problems with our order, but you need to realize that the place was packed and most of these servers are brand new. Also, the system they have in place to serve the food is ridiculous. Your server places your order in the computer, then the cook gets it. After its cooked, it gets sent out to a runner that then puts it at another place for ANOTHER runner to bring it to you. Now the server that took your order has no idea if your order is messed up because they are NOT ALLOWED to bring the food to your table. Trust me, I know how this place works. You want a side of ranch? Most places the server runs to the back and gets you some. Not here. They have to put it in the computer and then the cook gets the order for ranch, then it's put up for a runner, etc. Holy Cow! Give it time people and don't expect 3 star Michelin dining. It's a wing and beer joint. They don't claim to be anything they are not. Your server is working their ass off for you and have a messed up way of doing things that they have no control over. Our server tonight was amazing and treated us very well. Yes the wings took forever to come out, but I was so busy having drinks and watching the blazers game that I wasn't too worried. Patience grasshoppa. Have a beer and watch a game.

I'm not typically a fan of wings but theirs aren't bad. I liked their honey glazed -- sweet and not spicy. Play their trivia game while you wait for your food !! Loud inside so sometimes difficult to hear. :P but good for groups of friends

    (4)
  • Carol C.

I gave it 4 stars, simply because they just opened. I heard people complaining about the wait and the service, but the place JUST opened and has been packed every time I've gone. I'm not really a wing person, but others in my family are, so we've eaten there a number of times already. Expect to wait, and expect the servers to be learning... and don't bother with the to-go option, as the food is better fresh.

    (4)
  • Levi R.

It's hard to even give them one star... I've been to plenty of Buffalo Wild Wings but this one will never get another dime from me. It took 35 minutes to get a few things of wings. I've seen way more people at other locations and it didn't take nearly as long to get our food and when it does take a long time at other locations they will usually give you coupons for free wings. Not corvallis though... Be ready to ask for everything. Water, extra napkins, refills, and your check. The waiters/waitresses seem to be very friendly and apologetic but don't do anything about the terrible service. Will never go back here unless it's free or I'm not paying for it.

The food is a 4, but the service was so bad that I have to give it a 2. The food was really good. Nice portion size and flavor. Lots of different items to try. I had the Parmesan Chicken Flatbread that was really yummy. Now for the 2. The service was DREADFUL! The waiter was extremely slow. We were seated for almost 10 minutes before we were even able to order drinks. The waiter didn't get our order right and when the food finally arrived, our waiter disappeared. Never came back to check on us or see if we needed refills(We did). My dad finally had to flag him down by waving his arms in the air. Yes, it was embarrassing, but effective. So, we order dessert, and its wrong. The last person in our party got his dessert when everyone else was finished. Our waiter did comp us a dessert, but they need to get their act together if they plan on staying in business.

regular sports bar food. pretty good but pricey. known for their wings which are good! also their zingy Chinese salad is super good! when it's late, select drinks are cheaper as well as some foods. Tuesday's are their cheap wings which are worth it. friendly staff & fast service!

Last week I went to Buffalo Wild Wings with friends to celebrate a birthday. I have an intolerance to gluten so I ordered a chicken salad minus croutons. Out came the salad and lo and behold croutons were hiding under the chicken. I called over the waitress to let her know about the mistake and she kindly took my plate away and offered to have it remade. Before I knew it, the manager was shaking my hand with apologies and telling me that the salad was on him. My friend also had an issue with his chicken wrap and that was on the house too! I understand it will take a while for a new establishment to work out all the kinks but boy oh boy was I happy how they fixed the problems and made us want to return for more. Thank you for your generosity!
