We ate at the new Aqua last night and the food was outstanding. We decided to share small plates which were not very small at all. The Calamari was excellent. It was served with olives and peppers and served warm. The Tuna was cooked to perfection and served with noodles and a dipping sauce. We also had the Shrimp salad which had a very tasty dressing and we had the Chevre. The wait staff was very good and knowledgeable about the food. All in all, our experience was fantastic.

We've been to Aqua several times and usually enjoy the creative menu and delicious food. However on our most recent visit this week we couldn't help but be thoroughly unimpressed. Service was average. Menu was simple and uninspired. My food was just ok. My husbands scallops were overlooked and the polenta cake it was served with was raw batter on the inside. I had previously recommended this restaurant to others but don't see us going back. Disappointed I wasted my birthday dinner on this experience

I think it's deceptive to have a separate page for the "new" Aqua that indicates that it has moved. The address is the same. Nevertheless, you can read my previous 5-star review for the "old" Aqua if you'd like. We ate at Aqua for the first time since the remodel, and I was sorely disappointed. I was stunned to see the place nearly empty on a Friday evening at 7 p.m. They've removed several tables and replaced them with high tables with bar stools, which are not the most comfortable. I give points to the new owner for keeping the fish tanks, still the best feature of the place. The dinner menu is pretty limited in scope. I think we'll come back to try the lunch menu just because there's more variety. We ended up getting burgers, knowing that they mostly have seafood now. We ordered identical medium rare burgers and caesar salads. My dining partner's burger was medium, with some pink. Mine was medium well, with no pink. I had one pickle on my burger and a thin piece of slimy lettuce. The caesar salad... the croutons were delicious. The rest was lackluster, and I think they tried to make their own dressing. It didn't taste anything like caesar. It was like a thin lemon-garlic vinaigrette. Not terrible, but it shouldn't be considered caesar (which, by the way, is misspelled on the menu). The service was fine. I know it's probably not fair to compare this food to the food served before the ownership/management change, but the place should've changed the name to be its own distinct restaurant. It's not even close to what it was before.

I am beyond impressed with this place! My boyfriend and I came here for my birthday on a Tuesday evening around 7. It was completely dead which surprised me. The host asked us where we would like to sit since it was pretty open, and we sat next to one of the fish tanks. We ordered cocktails and appetizers and they came out so fast! We got the fried oysters and a bowl of mussels, both of which were cooked to perfection. Like seriously, perfect. We got wine with dinner and our entrees were also fabulous. Boyfriend got the halibut and I got the scallops. Oh man, I can't even begin to describe how PERFECT both were! The service was so prompt, we were done in an hour! Our waiter was such a doll, he was super attentive and really nice and even bought us a round of drinks for my birthday. We will definitely be coming back very soon!

My husband and visited for the first time, and the food and service were amazing. I ordered White Ciopinno, a dish with seafood in a lemongrass and coconut broth. I ordered it without dairy. It was delicious, and the waitress and chef were accommodating and helpful. I haven't eaten seafood out like this in many years due to several dietary restrictions. I'm so glad I did. As I talked with the waitress after the meal she let me know just how accommodating Aqua is for those with dietary issues. Dedicated areas for prep and cooking, and an eagerness to create and make whatever the customer needs. A full five stars from me!

My wife, daughter, and I had dinner at Aqua and were very impressed, particularly with our server, Derek. Very knowledgeable and helped with everything including wine selection. Had fresh halibut which was cooked to perfection and homemade ice cream for dessert. Highly recommend this restaurant!
