Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

Being from San Diego I expect a lot from my Mexican food! This place was ok, it was decent Mexican food in a small town and way exceeded my expectations! There chip bean dip is great an free! Staff was very friendly to us and food was quick! Try it out and enjoy a margarita!

I sat alone, and was left alone. Just the way I like it. The salsa was freshly made, and the bean dip was an unexpected extra that was tasty. Homemade I would guess, because it didn't taste like it was from a can. The chips were homemade too. I had the Pollo street tacos and they were very, very good. Lots of flavor and good use of spices. Not a fan of the pre-shredded cheese, but it didn't add or detract from the flavor of the meal itself. Margarita was good, too. I liked the mix that they used, and the heavy pour helped me crash at the motel I was at that had thin walls and a neighbor with a hearing problem (his TV was at full volume all night). Good job overall.

Great food, horrible after experience. Essentially they double charged my card for the meal and when I called them to ask them to fix the transaction they refused saying that it was my banks fault and they were not responsible for the overcharge. After the third time I called them to dispute the charge (well after the transaction was off pending status) they once again informed me that they were not responsible and to not call back every again. Suffice to say I will not return to this establishment and if you decide it is worth the risk make sure you check your accounts and be prepared to have to take the dispute through your financial institution.

Classic small town American style Mexican food. Large plates, good tasting food; not good for you. Staff was great. Clearly the best Mexican food in town.

Great food, huge portions! Typical mexican restaurant atmosphere - festive music on sound system, typical mexican menu with unique dishes and huge combos. Big margaritas. The kind of place to go when you're looking for comfort food.

Good, fresh, and friendly. Were very accommodating. I ordered guacamole enchiladas even though they were not on the menu and they made them real yummy. Good chips and salsa too. We left happy and full.

The food is decent, Americanized fare. The fajitas are quite good, actually. The only problem is that if you go on a Friday or Saturday night, be prepared to wait- they have only one server for the entire place, so you won't get much attention. Also the owner parks his Hummer right out front- always takes the best parking spot- odd.
