We stopped in for a quick lunch. Shared the turkey avocado sandwich with homemade potato salad. Both were excellent. The owner had just taken out a pan of bread pudding from the oven and brought us a complimentary sample for us to try. Just suffice it to say I wanted to lick the plate when I was done. The tortellini soup was a bit bland but otherwise the food was outstanding. The people were very friendly and made you feel like you were at home. Love the small town spirit. I highly recommend this place.

The sandwiches are pretty good. The service isn't the best, but it is Burns so that's standard. Definitely one of the best places in town.

Funky and friendly little spot on the main street through town. Easy parking. We stopped for coffee and a snack. I don't know when I've seen such an array of tempting pies, bars, and pudding. We settled for the old fall backs of a brownie and a lemon bar. The brownie was at least 1.5 inches thick, dark, and moist. The lemon bar was two layers of amazing flavor on a butter crust. I would suggest purchasing your espresso elsewhere, thus the 4 stars, but the pastries are not to be beat!

We called ahead and the sandwiches were packed and ready to go complete with a baggy of fresh pickles and veggies. Very friendly owner and the sannies were great. Suggestion to ask her to go light on mayo....we will be back on our next trip across oregon!

Delicious lunch! The turkey Reuben & butternut squash soup made my day, grilled cheese for the kids. Great service too. The pies looked yummy I wish I'd saved room.

Can you say homemade rolls and bread? Mmmmm. So good! High quality meats and cheese, friendly staff. We were passing through and bought sandwiches to go. The owner packed us a home style lunch that was wonderful. Potato salad was delish!

We stopped in on our way back from Boise to Eugene... Great sandwiches. The cream of artichoke soup was not good, it sounded good but it was runny and extremely salty. Stick with the sandwiches. I had the highlander and my boyfriend had the pastrami.

Well first of all, I'm not the biggest sandwich fan in the world - but my fiance loves them. This brought us to Broadway Deli on our way back to Baker City. I ordered the French Dip. I found the meat to be just fine, but I thought the bread was too close to being the Safeway brand hoagie roll. It was too fragile, crumbled easily, and absorbed way too much of the au jus (making a huge mess). My fiance had no complaints about his Reuben. He ate every bit and then finished my Dip. I had spied some homemade vanilla fudge that I decided I must have for the remainder of our drive. Good flavor, but very dry because it had not been properly wrapped in saran wrap. Meh, you could do worse.
