We had the chicken piccata for dinner tonight and loved it. The 6 rolls that came with it were delicious! The fact that we can take out fresh, home style meals like this last minute is fantastic! Thank you!!

We have use T&T for several parties. They have always prepared a fantastic menu and complete service. Highly recommend.

I've been back several times since my last review and the service continues to be poor, and the food isn't anything special. I sent a complaint in and the response was disappointing. My coworkers and I will bring our business elsewhere.

My aunt was so kind to bring a number of items from Tate and Tate to us up here in Portland after I had an emergency C-section. Anyone who has had a baby knows that you will find yourself with plenty of people who are more than happy to drop by with a frozen casserole or two. The problem in, most of that food tastes like crap. So we were really pleased when she arrived with a cooler full of tasty foods. So far we have enjoyed the pork enchiladas, the baked beans, the spanish rice, the rosemary chicken salad and the bread and rolls. I give it all 5 stars for flavor, quality and portion size. We got 6 large portions out of each dish, and I can't wait to dive into the whiskey chicken that's hanging out in my freezer. I look forward to the next time we are in Bend, so we can go in and try some of the other items on the menu.

'Tis the season to update my review for Tate and Tate. For a few reasons. First, we used the Bend Tate and Tate location a couple of times this summer when we had friends visiting and I was simply too pooped to cook. So convenient to be able to pick up good food to heat and eat, or toss and serve, or slice and serve or... without having to do it myself. Second, hubby had surgery last week and an out of town friend gave us a gift credit from Tate and Tate. That is coming in very handy this week to have delivered healthy, scratch made food for patient and me both. Third, adding in a bit of holiday gift giving in the mix, whether Chanukah or Christmas or Solstice, a gift certificate (any denomination you like and they offer it) from Tate and Tate is a can't miss item. In particular for those who one wonders "what to get..." for people who have everything. Or for aging friends and relatives who don't need another bathrobe for sure. Or as thank you for the host and hostess if you're staying as house guests. Or as a gift for a neighbor who has has just had a baby, or surgery, or just because... Fourth, when one supports George and Barb Tate's business, one is "shopping local" with very nice owners and getting a heck of a bargain in the mix. As example of the good value pricing: 1 A quart of soup (typically there are four scratch made options each week), a loaf of fresh bread, crispy green salad with and a dessert of your choice easily feeds two for only $10. The quart of soup all by itself is $4.75; less than you'd pay for a bowl in some restaurants. There are also main course salad options under seven bucks.. 2 They say their small casseroles feed three but we've found feeding five to be more like it, they are so generously sized. Plus casseroles come with a starch side, a big green salad and a loaf of bread.. All for just under $20. (It's tough to get a good pizza for that price and here you can get a nutritious meal.) Family style casseroles to serve 8 at under $30.00 3. Individual plated options run about $12 to $14 and include choices like salmon, halibut, pork, beef, chicken and pasta dishes. They also come with soup or salad, bread and dessert included in the price. 4. Vegetarian options in the mix too, like the veggie enchilada casserole or lasagna, and if you call ahead they are most accommodating at making modifications where that's possible. Just like Santa, Tate and Tate delivers to your home if you need that! What could be better at any time of year? Ho-Ho-Ho! See menu link here: tateandtatecatering.com/…

We ordered and received the Christmas dinner of ham and roasted pork. It was amazing and so much. We ordered a couple of side dishes and appetizers along with the dessert. We were greeted very friendly and the food was fresh and easy to reheat. It was like home cooking and very delicious. There were four of us and this meal could have fed 6 or more. Portion sizes were very large. Next holiday or get together we will be back.

We were visiting Bend for a family gathering that included Valentine's Day. We opted to have dinner delivered to our rental home. It was fantastic, food and service were both exceptional and we made several meals from the leftovers. The cost of catering was much less than dinner out and a lot more fun as well.

I recently got married in Bend, but planned from Portland. I had a tough time finding vendor reviews and vowed to share my experience online when the wedding was complete. I cannot say enough about Tate and Tate for catering. Barbara is amazing and answered all my bazillion questions with patience. They are busy in the wedding scene and had previously worked with all my other vendors. The food was amazing. We got tons of compliments about it. Well worth the cost. We had a chef onsite making for hot and fresh appetizers. There was the perfect amount and they packaged two dinners ahead of time for me and the hubby to eat later. The servers were very professional and it really helped to have them monitor everything and help with the cleanup. I highly recommend Tate and Tate for event catering. Side note: The catering services are done out of Redmond, which has a different Yelp profile. Sadly, by splitting by location, it means fewer reviews on each page.

I hosted a post wedding brunch for my brother and new sister in law last weekend and I used Tate & Tate catering. I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. It was better than I even imagined. Brenna was fabulous. Very sweet and just awesome!!! I loved the little touches of garland that she put around the food trays. And now lets talk BACON!!! OH MY Goodness!!!! People couldn't enough of it. All the food was so tasty!!!! So glad we decided to use Tate and Tate!!!

We just used the Tate & Tate "Grab and Go" service through their NW Crossing location this week when visitors arrived for two nights. I didn't have the time nor inclination to "pull together" dinner meals. We ordered the "Scotch" braised beef and Tandoori chicken dinners, without additional salads or extras. There were four of us at the table, and we ordered these two dishes, advertised to feed 2-3 each. There was plenty of food, which included their sides of mashed potatoes for the first dish and rice for the second. We followed directions for reheating, etc., and all of us couldn't stop talking (throughout the meal) about how delicious, easy, and cost-effective these meals are. No question, we are converts, and will use the Tate & Tate service, whenever we have dinner guests, and even as a treat for ourselves (romantic anniversary at home, with "Grab and Go" in front of the fireplace, with a glass of champagne)!! Tate & Tate: Thanks so much and continued success!
