The gas station thing turned me off for a few months, but after noticing how many Latinos went into this place, I knew I had to try it. And I am SO glad I did. I grew up banging around Baja in the 70's and 80's, and went to college in San Diego, so street style Mexican food is my favorite. We have a few choices here that I have worn out for that style of Mexican Food- Rico's trucks (pretty good, but not perfect), Rigoberto's (Hit or Miss, some items excellent (Pollo Asado), some not so good (fish tacos), Taco Salsa (see the last item- they are both just rebadged Roberto's restaurants with the same menu), Los Jalapeños (Good food and you can have a drink, but their prices are RIDICULOUS for a taco stand), Longboard Louie's (hit or miss, too many filler materials- over packed with very bland beans and rice to enhance profits, and totally lacking Baja style authenticity) and the various Super Burritos. I have been told downtown is not so good, but the food we had last night at the East side one was absolutely fabulous AND less expensive than the others. I usually get irritated when they try to stick beans in my asada burritos, but these beans are truly authentic, a taste of the real Mexico, not bland muck like Louie's serves. Truly spectacular. My fiancé had the shrimp fajitas, which she loved, and the Li'l guy had a carnitas taco (I tasted the carnitas and they were perfect- crispy outside, soft inside). We have been bummed to have few really good Mexican street food choices in Bend, and on the East side we have been close to Louie's so have just lumped it and eaten there often. No more. We will be going across the street to spend less money and have better food. Frigging jazzed.

This place is a delicious local's choice. Everyone on the east side goes here. It's fresh and fast, and definitely better than long board louie's across the street. I think the great thing about it is the location, because being in a gas station means that most outsiders assume it's bad. The truth is that it's a hidden gem, and definitely the best food on the East side, and that's including Worthy.

These guys do it right. Service can be a bit slow but it's well worth the wait. Wonderful burritos on homemade tortillas. Maybe the best $5 you'll spend on lunch in Bend.

Awesome selection on the menu here. I've tried several different burrito options and they are all great. Excellent value for the money - $6 for a burrito and a soda and I leave full. Don't let the 'inside the Chevron station' bit put you off; this place is well worth a visit.

This place's Super Burrito is so good it CHANGED MY LIFE!!! Okay maybe that's an exaggeration but only just a little. Seriously everything I've had from this place's menu has been just incredible, and then today I tried the "Super Burrito"... I was beside myself with joy about how good it was. And man I've had a lot of different super burritos from lots of different Mexican places, but this one is far and away the best. They put a whole chille relleno down the middle of the burrito! OMG it's so good. I had to run home and write a review for them on Yelp because they really deserve it. El Super Burrito on Hwy 20, THANK YOU for making the most delicious super burrito on the planet!

My favorite breakfast Burrito in Bend so far. A great value for $5.50, with good salsa and chips while you're waiting. It's SW authentic, but don't come in until 8AM.

Quick and cheap for Mexican food. The food's pretty good but is just typical tasting Mexican food

The reviews for this place have been great so we decided to give it a go - BEST IDEA! The chorizo breakfast burrito is delicious and we absolutely plan to return! Their menu board says that from 8-10am, they only serve from the breakfast menu, but after 10am, the full menu (including breakfast items) is available.

Love this place! SB3 blows Longboards out of the water! All the food is made by Spanish speaking Hispanics, not white high school kids, so you know it's good. All of the burritos and tacos taste authentic and their sauces are addicting.

Yes it is in a gas station but it has one of the best Mexican food options in town. They are friendly, super fast and the food is always good!

Our whole family loves Super Burrito for a great breakfast burrito to dinner after LAX or little league practice mid-week. It ain't fancy but the prices are right, it's more authentic than most and the service is always good. We are definitely fans!

Worst verde burrito ever. The verde sauce was so hot it was Inedible. Complete waste of money.

This is authentic Mexican food. Don't let the gas station location scare you away and over to longboard Louie's. Forget about longboard Louie's. This is the spot! Best breakfast burrito I have ever eaten and only 5 bucks! win win.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
