My first impression as I walked in: Very clean and very friendly. My rating is based solely on the pizza, otherwise it would be higher. I ordered two "hand-stretched" pizzas, which turned out to be just a par-baked preformed crust you can buy at Walmart for a few bucks. I got two large pizzas (Large is 15 inches) for $17 (pepperoni only) and $21 (gourmet). At Papa Murphy's you can get a REAL hand-stretched crust Family Size (18 inch) take-and-bake for $16. I wasn't too impressed by the pizza. I don't think my family was either, as there was about 1/4 of the pizza left over on both nights--when Papa Murphy's or Cibeli's, we're fighting for the last slice. I think the owners were extremely nice people, but I think the other reviews of the pizza need a reality check.

This place is amazing in so many ways! The owners, Bruno and Joe are warm and welcoming. Bruno's wife will give you pointers on baking your pizza...take note, she knows what's she's talking about. I mean after all they have been doing this for over 35 years! They have beer, wine, a deli counter, some essentials you may need without having to go to a grocery store, ice cream novelties an of course the pizza counter. We ordered a medium bacon cheeseburger pizza without onions on the butter garlic dough and man was it out of this world! We baked it just as Joe recommended. The crust was thin and crispy just the way we like it and the toppings were super fresh and delicious. We will definitely be back...this weekend :)

Excellent! Very friendly are very fast, the pizza I got turned out very good and it only took maybe 10-15 from the time I arrived at Bruno's until the time I left. Good pizza, fair price, cool location.

The best take and bake pizza in Bend period. Fresh ingredients, huge selections of toppings and great value. The calzones are also second to none. This is a Bend landmark ( been here for a loooong time) that locals and visitors should check out.

For a take and bake it was a very good pizza! The crust was excellent. When cooked, I was able to hold the slice out straight- no sagging! That is the tell tale of a good crust. Toppings were generous and the overall flavor was good.

Whether you prefer standard toppings (pepperoni, canadian bacon, etc) or unusual recipes ("Popeye" or "Buffalo Chicken" pizza, anyone?) Bruno's builds a mean pie. Call ahead to order, or walk in and visit with Bruno himself while your pizza is made. Ingredients are all fresh, and there are several types of crust to choose from. When you carry your pizza out the door be sure to use both hands!
