Sushi tapas heaven. Another cheap and yummy meal in Portland. All day happy hour on sushi...nothing abpve $2..

So, I had not eaten here in forever and our usual spot we switched to was closed for the day. DEAR GOD...WHY...WHY did I bother! The sushi chef was rude and took FOREVER to get me two plates of yellowtail...when they were not even that busy. The waitress actually asked my friend how to spell Gyoza FOUR TIMES and then still mispelled it to the point where the rude chef came over and acted like it was our fault. They have lowered their plate prices to $1-1.50 for all plates which is unheard of. Guess what?? Even with that I still WILL NEVER go to this restaurant again... SHIT RACK indeed... If you want good sushi in Beaverton and to not be treated like shit I will tell you several places that are pretty awesome....this is NOT one of them.

This is good sushi at great prices. The fish is fresh and the veggies crisp, everything's clean and seating is ample. Service is always friendly and prompt. We come in here all the time and the prices can't be beat. Five stars because for a sushi track place, it's the best in PDX for the price, and very consistent whenever we go in. I disagree with reviews that portions are skimpy or prices are too high. Are you kidding? Every plate is under $2. Nothing has tasted old to me, though some of the fried rolls do get cooled while on the track. Overall I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone for cheap good sushi!

I will never go back into this establishment. I witnessed the so called boss or chef yell at this customer in front of her small children. She just sat there (poor thing). She really wasn't complaining either. She just didn't eat what I think was squid because it did not look right to her and he just unleashed on her. Waving his knife around the whole time too. I was actually scared. Seriously what a loose canon this guy was. He said he had never had a complaint... Obviously if that's how he reacted. But not professional at all. Just wow! Shame on him!
(1)Rachel C.
I found the establishment to be quite lacking in authenticity. The service, because not much was demanded of them, was acceptable. The selection of dishes on the track was spotty and a little odd (think chocolate torte meets fried onion roll). For the sake of our intestinal health we steered clear of any raw fish, but did try inari, seaweed salad and shrimp shumai. All were served at the same temperature and none made us eager for a second bite. Needless to say we will not be patronizing this establishment again.

We go to Sushi Track for special occasions. I can't really eat the rice, but I love Sushi. The prices are good and the place regularly gets high health department ratings. That's something I check before I go to restaurants and finding a Sushi place that's gotten 100% from their restaurant inspections is rare.

Sometimes cheap sushi works. I think it only works if you go expecting to have cheap, middle of the road sushi. For those times, Sushi Track might be just what you're looking for. My experience with sushi trains has always been sub-par and Sushi Track is no exception. But, and there is a but, this sushi train did not seem dirty or old , which I've encountered as a problem elsewhere. They had two sushi chefs going the whole time I was there just making rolls and putting them out. The plates are color coordinated so you know just what you're getting yourself into. From 1$ to 5$ I believe. The variety is nothing to be scoffed at for such low prices but of course it's nothing fancy. Go expecting okay Sushi, and that's what you'll get..for cheap. It's a solid lunch spot.

Stopped here on a whim on lunch after running some errands for a quick bite. The place wasn't very busy and I wondered how long the sushi has been on the track...I wanted some egg rolls and they looked cold. I asked the waitress if she could throw some in the fryer fresh for me and she said she was "not allowed" but could microwave some ones off the track for me?!? Are you kidding me??? At that point I was just disgusted and wanted to leave. The only reason this gets 2 stars is the waitress was nice and apologetic about only being able to microwave them for me. It might have been the owners but if you are that budget conscious then it makes me wonder where else they were cutting corners...not a good sign in a sushi place.
(2)Trevor W.
This is probably the worst sushi I've ever had. Everything tasted old and incredibly salty. I'm no stranger to strip mall sushi joints. I wasn't expecting a five star meal, but even so this was disappointing. Not exactly "cheap" either. Anything worth eating was a $2 plate and the portions were pretty skimpy.

Cant believe the rating of this sushi restaurant is soo low. This sushi restaurant is one of my favorite restaurants in Beaverton area! I was always looking for some good restaurants in Beaverton. And this is the one! I bet they are selling the cheapest sushi here, and they taste good. The sushimen and waitresses are quite friendly and always try to make sure if im doing alright. Also they keep the place really clean which is a thing that I check wherever I go and love it. If you are fond of the American sushi style, you will love this place like I do.

We stopped in here for lunch one day, and it was our first time in a place where the sushi comes off a conveyor belt. Overall we liked it. Only criticism is that the menu should have a description of what exactly is in each dish- hub is allergic to avocado, and it would have been nice to know exactly which had it. To avoid any accidents, he had teriyaki chicken as his main dish, and tried any sushi I picked that did not contain avocado. I felt like we got a decent amount of food for the price- around $18 for both of us. I like that you can try a bunch of different foods! We will be back :)

Good sushi, fresh salmon just ask and friendly customer service (including a cute gal hostess). I go here regularly and I enjoy myself every time. Very clean (at least it seems so), which is the first thing i look for. I recommend this place.

I am a HUGE sushi fan and I am always open to try a new sushi place. I usually prefer more authentic Japanese places, instead of eating sushi that rotates on a belt. After eating at this place, if I want sushi on a track, I will go to Sushi land. This place was not worth it. Sushi track looks nice and the service is friendly, but the food wasn't all that great. Plus, the plates were more expensive than Sushi Land. I usually like my sushi at least a little bit cold, but the salmon was warm...kinda gross. We ordered the tempera ice cream, and I would NOT recommend that to anyone. They were tiny bits of ice cream that was full of deep fry batter. It was gross and i ended up spitting them out. After getting the bill, i was surprised that my gf and I ended up eating $30 bucks worth of sushi here (we didn't even order that many plates). The strangest part of this experience was the sushi chefs. One of the younger chefs kept looking/mugging at me. I know i am a handsome guy and at all...but please, I am with my gf..LOL
(2)Evan R.
OK I don't know what I was thinking other than being hopeful that this was going to be a tasty sushi go round. The place was nice and clean and new but I think they should have spared the decor $$ for some better sushi and maybe some presentation classes. Now don't get me wrong I like sushiville and other sushi track but this one is dreadful. They just didnt get anything right on this one. Sure its cheap but EEEAK! The spicy sauce was a horrible color sort of a off pink toward purple. The taste was about as bad ( I had hoped otherwise). The rolls were pretty uninspiring at best and some down right awful. The plain fish nigiri was not even up to par. I didn't feel to well after eating here for the next few hours either.... So however sushi craved you might be while driving by just keep driving.
(1)Annie C.
I've been to many sushi track places and often. This is in the top 3 in the Portland metro area - in my opinion. Their lunch prices are especially good, all plates are $1.00 or $1.50 before 3pm. Try it out. It's quick, easy, fresh, and very affordable.
(4)Jim K.
This is by far my favorite sushi go round place in the Portland area. Compared to all the rest, this one rocks. I especially like their mussels, special rolls, and spicy Tina rolls. When they changed over to the "happy hour all the time" format, the rolls got smaller, but are still just as flavorful. I'm happy to see that the owner is succeeding in this location. He's such a nice guy, and makes sushi in this location.

Cheap, yummy kaiten (roundabout) sushi! It is definitely not the most best sushi around, but it was decent. I'm a fan of good cheap sushi. Sometimes, I crave kaiten sushi and the quality at these places can be hit or miss. On my visit here, I'd say Sushi Track was a hit. My Sam and I came here on a Saturday for lunch and they had a cheap special going on at the time. The prices ranged from $1 to $2.50 per plate. The plates were $.25 or so off their original pricing. They also eliminated the top priced plates... close to $4.50 or $5, I think. If you order anything not on the track, you pay regular price for it. We weren't super hungry so we sampled only a few dishes. The tamago is pretty average, like supermarket tamago. The veggies they used in the rolls were crisp and fresh tasting. The fish seemed to be of fair size and good quality. Their rolls were interesting and yummy. The spicy tuna was different from others - it had a flavor that I think was sesame oil and no sriracha - and Sam liked it more than me as I'm not a big sesame oil fan. He said it reminded him a little of poke. My favorite was the oshizushi (pressed sushi - I think theirs had nori, rice, crab salad, salmon and unagi sauce) which I haven't seen at other cheap sushi places. What actually stood out for me was the rice quality. It wasn't the best, but it was good - not too sticky, not dry, not hard - and it had a good flavor - not too vinegary, but not too plain. They also had some dim sum-type stuff (siumai with a side of sauce) and desserts (chocolate cake, cheesecake) on the track. We didn't sample those. The dim sum seemed on the small-ish side, but the dessert looked quite large. The service was friendly and we were lacking for nothing. All in all, it was a very enjoyable weekend lunch with my Sam. (^_^)

Wow.. even for conveyor belt sushi, this place is pretty bad. The sushi is warm, poor selection and even the edamame is cooked to death. I hadn'tbeen to this place in about six months, it used to be better.
(1)Travis D.
I hope that people understand that when rating and reviewing a restaurant, you should understand the class and category. This is a 5-star sushi track restaurant! The rolls are tasty and fresh with great ingredients. There aren't stacks of old sushi from Who Knows When. A great selection of sushi with creative rolls. Also they put out a card with a description of ingredients for the unusual rolls. There are a ton of sushi track places in Beaverton and this is by far the best.
(5)John C.
Everything about this place is skimped except for the interior decorations. They draw you in with the cheap "happy hour all day" advertisement and come to find that there is a rice shortage in this place on all the rolls. Come on now! Rice is the cheapest part of the roll! Everything is practically weighed out to the least amount that they can get away with... All the ingredients and the fish is poor quality and there is nothing that is of good quality. Even the guys that are making the sushi don't understand what service is. I ordered a simple crab salad to be made because the seaweed doesn't taste good when it is soggy. The guy goes and looks for one on the belt and acts like he just made it when giving it me? Please don't give me the old bottom of the barrel nasty scraps. When I took a bite it tasted old and smelled fishy. This is the first and last time I will be visiting this place.
(1)Jaila C.
This place has the track stock full all the time and is great if you enjoy trying some of the less traditional fusion rolls. Would highly recommend the popular volcano roll for a nice charred accent, the Mexico City roll if you don't mind some spice, and their sockeye salmon was very fresh. The portions are average, price comparable to other sushi track restaurants. They are a little shy with the fish in the more common rolls such as the rainbow and classic sushi on white rice bites. Overall, if you enjoy the sushi track atmosphere, I'd give this place a try!
(4)Liz W.
I really enjoyed my experience here! The sushi was fresh and delicious and CHEAP and the customer service was outstanding. If something tastes better hot (calamari, shumai etc) then order a fresh batch, just because it's on the conveyor belt doesn't mean there aren't other options!! I'd go back if I lived in OR!
(4)Rizky M.
Such disappointed! I literally threw up everything a moment i got out there.. Beware!!! I found bones in their salmon skin roll and I accidentally ate it and it got stuck in my throat right now. I complained but they did nothing about it, no refund, nothing! So I'll say, this is the worst sushi place I've ever been, and I'll never going back here again..

Hubby and I stopped by for a late lunch at 1:30ish on a weekday. The restaurant itself appears very clean and well decorated. There were a few folks eating and more came and went. We sat a the sushi bar and those stools are not good for us short people, my feet dangled because they are just tall enough that I could not touch the floor, I was a bit uncomfortable. The service was barely average. We sat there for a few minutes while the Manager or Owner guy was talking to the server and Sushi Chef. Finally someone brought us water and tea. You have to catch them and ask for refills they do not offer and the Sushi Chef will not look at you or ask if you want anything special. Most of what was going around the track was unrecognizable, they have some pretty weird stuff, and most of it has a sauce on it. Hubby recognized a few items and finally got the Chef's attention and had several items made. Most of what was on the track looked like it had been there a longgggggg time. I got the Chicken Bento which was $10.50 and did not even come with Miso Soup. The salad dressing was strange and very salty, did not like it at all. The Rice and Teriyaki Chicken were ok. The best part of the Bento was the Tempura, it was hot and fresh and quite tasty. It was certainly not worth the price, made me wish I was eating at Mr. Bento. They advertise "Happy Hour Specials All Day" which is kind of bullshit, their prices are more than just about every other Sushi track place I have eaten. Bottom line, I would go back for convenience sake but it would not be a destination.

It took a friend a lot of nudging to get me to try this place. I have been going to Sushi Hana near Washington Square for years and I felt there was nothing better on the west side. She continued to insist that this place had great prices like Sushi Hana but was more fresh. Well, she was right. There really was a greater freshness to the fish and the prices were pretty similar. It was a nice atmosphere with friendly staff and it was easy to chat with the sushi makers on the other side of the counter. I got some great stuff and I was very pleased! The portions were a little smaller than Sushi Hana but I felt that the freshness completely made up for it and that is why I'm giving this place 5 stars. I will definitely be back!
(5)Natalie H.
I don't know why this place has low rating! I love it! Everything is very affordable! Good service! And the sushi of course it is not the fancy expensive sushi standard but it does fill you up for your sushi craving if you don't want to spend a lot of money! This actually filled you up. Cheap sushi! If you go in here expecting the big rolls then you should find some other places
(4)Rena J.
I'm a little obsessed with conveyor belt sushi. Instant gratification of sushi in my mouth and into mah tummy! I also like to butcher sushi eating here by pouring too much soy sauce and topping cali rolls with ginger... Therefore, this is the official lunch for after I get my eyebrows threaded in the shopping center across the street. The plates are cheapo. Ranging from $1.15 to $1.85? I ate like a hobo superstar for around $10. The selection is really decent for conveyor belt sushi and they have more sushi than fried stuff though there's a decent amount of that too. You don't go to places like this expecting super tasty quality. So the sushi itself tastes pretty fresh and average. Nothing special but nothing that makes you wonder how they screwed it up. The only bad piece I had was unseasoned rice in my nigiri which I quickly forgot as I ate a roll topped with ginger. :-D
(4)Natalie B.
I took a tuna roll off the conveyor belt, and the moment i chomped down on it, an alarm went off in my head commanding me NOT to eat it. It was very very fishy. When i told the manager as politely as possible that the taste was not fresh and i didn't feel comfortable eating it, she seemed annoyed and asked the nearby cook if it was fresh, he obediently nodded and she charged me for the suspect plate. Its not the most egregious thing that has ever happened, but i definitely wont go back.
(2)Henrie K.
What a fun experience! Very modern and clean ambiance and good price as well as tons of varieties in sushi/roll kinds. Every plate I tried was tasty, but my favorite was stuffed jalapenos - not too spicy and very flavorful. Desserts were good, too - strawberry and mango mochi ice cream were good. Service was timely as well. Definitely will return!
(5)Rebecca D.
We moved to Beaverton about 7 years ago, but it took us forever to try out Sushi Track. We think this is a notch above the other places we have tried locally. We like that the inari is not overly stuffed with rice. It allows the tofu skin flavor to really come through. The music and the comfy seats that have backs really make a difference to us. Love the reasonable cost. The decor is nice.
(4)Amy H.
Nice atmosphere, food was good and really great selection. We both ate our fill for like $12. Will go again.
(4)Emily S.
Affordable sushi, all tasted fresh. Their rolls are very creative, and all the ones I tried were really delicious. There are a lot of conveyor sushi places around, so it's nice that they have something to make them a little different. Service was fine, could've been a little more attentive, but fine. I didn't ask for anything specific, but I feel like it would've been hard to get the chef's attention had I wanted to. None of the plates are over $1.85, so lunch here is relatively affordable.
(4)Chris B.
This place is so awesome the.music is great and the sushi is made to perfect. That atmosphere of the place it so nice I love the bamboo in the walls and the white trees coming out of the ground. This is a must go to place if your looking to eat sushi. It quiet too.
(5)Kim S.
Great rotating sushi selection. Yummilicious! Friendly staff. Do easy to choose something you'll like.
(4)Jim R.
Very solid conveyor-belt sushi. Everything is beautifully prepared and fresh. Nice decor, spotlessly clean. Friendly staff. Good prices. Selection is smallish, but that's okay.
(4)Joey H.
Happy Hour all day, yes your horrible gimmick got me in the door! and the fact that when I type in "cheap sushi" on yelp you were the first buisness to pop up 1 mile away. I love cheap, cheap, cheap, sushi on a college student budget. So I am obviously not rating this on par with normal sushi restaurants with top quality ingredients. 1.15$ for a plate of things like seaweed salad, small cheaper items, etc. 1.60$ for some of the simple sushi rolls. veggie, krab, etc 1.85$ for some of the better rolls. shrimp, avocado, tempura I love this place, my new favorite place for sushi on a budget! busy, but not crazy where you can't get a seat, and a comfy classy one at that.
(5)Kerri L.
My first time here and really enjoyed it. While my fellow employee got the sushi from the go-round sushi track, I decided to go with the lunch special of bento box (chicken teriyaki, salad with spicy dressing, chicken gyozo, and three pieces of California roll sushi) for $6.50 - a very good deal and quite tasty. Sushi prices seemed quite fair, and the sushi I saw bob-bob-bobbin' along looked fresh to me. The restaurant decor was quite relaxing - grey painted walls with white touches and some very tasteful painted Asian touches (koi) that were attractive and not cartoonish. Chairs were comfortable around the sushi track, and overall the vibe was very laid back - people sitting around talking, taking the sushi as they wanted from the track, and just having a good lunch. My bento box came out in good time and I was able to enjoy most of my lunch at the same time my co-worker was taking the sushi from the track. The restaurant was very clean, and the background music was played at a nice volume that didn't bounce off the walls and did not preclude conversation. This is a fun place to go. I'm sure children would love the sushi going round the bend on the track. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole package, but most particularly how relaxed everything was, especially at lunch. I think it's well worth a try!
(4)John L.
A good place to eat on a budget. I can grab a few 1.50 plates and be satisfied. I love their track! The boats are really cute.
(4)Dara H.
I like this place a lot. For people who aren't sushi track goers, the track experience is different than a sit-down sushi place. It is not the highest quality of sushi I've ever had, but it is solidly good and fresh tasting. The prices are awesome as well. This is one of my favorite lunch spots because it is healthy, cheap and quick.
(4)Heidi S.
As soon as I walked through the door it was on! This place had everything. The ring of fire sushi with crab and spicy jalapenos was my absolute favorite on the track. I ate so much I am now offically in a sushi coma. The staff was fun to chat with, very friendly. The fish was fresh. there weren't a whole lot of people in the place but the track was always full with an excellent variety. I just found a new spot to fill my sushi cravings!
(5)Casandra L.
A favorite lunch date spot with the hubby. House rolls are my fav and he loves all there spicy stuff. I just wish they would cover all the food that circulates instead of leaving it exposed.
(3)Kristina S.
Great sushi, decent selection and prices are great for what you are getting. I love the tempura Udon they serve. Definitely the best udon I have had at a casuak sushi restaurant. ...easily the best for a track sushi place. I recommend this to everyone.
(5)Hope O.
I came here knowing full well that I wasn't going to have my life changed by this sushi. I was craving it after picking up a few things at Fred Meyer, and decided to grab a couple rolls to take home to wolf down while watching the IPL5 tournament. Ah, the sushi boats. I've never been a fan of sitting down to dine at one of these places and I made sure to keep an eye out to ensure that I wasn't getting my sushi yanked off the assembly line making circles around the sushi chef. I decided to try a handful of things off of their to go menu: Saba (mackerel) nigiri: This is one of my absolute favorite pieces of fish. It wasn't the freshest I've had, but I'd be lying if I said this was the worst I've had. Sushi Track did this one alright, surpassing some of the saba nigiri I've had from Asian markets. The cut was adequate. Crab Tempura Roll: Imitation crab (makes me weep inside) tempura. I like the idea. Cream cheese as well with their orange cream sauce (a tangent on that coming soon) and panko crumbs. Taste was alright. Rainbow Roll: They skimped hard on the sashimi on top. Very thin, small pieces on top of each piece of roll, with avocado on top of the sashimi, instead of between the rice roll and sashimi, which meant I had to do it myself and that just destroyed the roll. Dragon Roll: a piece of tempura shrimp surrounded by a ton of rice in a roll, with eel on top. It tasted really good, actually, and the textures and flavors were alright. Probably my favorite from my order. California/Spicy Tuna: I can't remember which one I ordered. From the lack of spice, I'll assume California Roll. Standard with a ring of their orange sauce. Orange sauce: I tasted it on its own to figure out what it was, and it tasted like really shitty mayonnaise that was orange. Duuuuude, serious sad faces all around for that. Tainting my rolls like that. Booooo. Thing that made me almost laugh out loud: yelp.com/biz_photos/sush… I almost asked the waitress if I was being given an 8ball of wasabi paste to go, but I wasn't sure if she'd like my joke, so I saved that gem for Yelp. I had to take a picture when I got home. It IS kind of cute. Kind of. It was $14 for all of that, which was pretty reasonable for sushi that hasn't killed me thus far. Would I go out of my way to eat here? Not a snowball's chance in hell. Did it fill my rumbly tummy with sushi that I was craving? Absolutely. Sub par flavor, good, friendly service, very reasonable prices mainly reasonable because they use fillers to the max. Want some rice with your roll? GOOD, because that'll make up 80% of it. It's a craving buster and that's about it.
(2)Kendra P.
I am reviewing this place based on the fact that they are a track sushi place. This is the best track sushi I've ever had. The always have kappamaki and veggie rolls on the track. It makes me so happy to see sushi like that instead of the very westernized style sushi. Here's the thing, I don't like sushi rolls with a lot of sauces, or cheese or anything like that. I like simple. Sushi Track does this for me!
(4)Asha S.
Quick, easy cheap conveyor sushi. The place is clean and always busy. It's nicely decorated and the staff is attentive. The quality of the sushi is to be expected for a conveyor restaurant but if you order directly from the sushi chef, you're good to go!
(4)David W.
The food was alright. I admit I went in late so there wasn't more variety on the track as I'd like. The cook did make a rainbow roll for me. But the one thing that bothered me was the surprise when totalling the biĺll. The waitress wrote pink and I found out the item was $3. All the plates are advertised for less than $2 but apparently they sneak in more expensive items on the track. I don't like that.
(3)Jen E.
We have tried to eat here many times and have now just given up. Besides their unnatural love of chili sauce... they have very few regular sushi bits going round on the belt. Okay not a problem they obviously take pride in their fancy creations.... I will just order what I want so no problem. .......okay problem..... I swear each time we were here there was not many people at all and yet you have to practically flash the sushi chef to get what you want made. In fact he does his best to never look up if he can help it. Then after you give your order...... he sighs and walks over to the other side, stands for a moment, then grabs the fish, then he puts the fish down, then he grabs his knife, then he stares at the fish..... as if willing the fish to cut itself or maybe he is apologizing to the fish, the he slowly cuts the fish, then he puts down his knife, then he puts the fish away..........taking a break here .... if you are getting tired of reading that imagine when you are hungry and he is only working on one order..... just one. fast forward you eventually get your fish........eventually. Although by the time you get it, you feel as though you have aged, and it is now the next meal you are eating for. The service is slow even on non busy times, they have an unnatural love affair with sweet chili sauce, this is not the place you go to when you are in need of some quick fish bits. The service sucks, all the staff look like they would rather be bathing a rabid cat or that they are in trouble and sentenced to work here to pay off their time. My gods I have never seen such an unhappy work crew in a restaurant. I did notice that they lowered their prices to the norm when it comes to small plate sushi. however even if it was free I would not go here again just due to there are many other places around that will actually serve you and be happy to do it. When they first opened .... we were right there...... then gave up, when we saw they had lowered their prices.... we tried again.... after a few more months we tried again.... have to say wee are done trying to give this place a chance......
(1)Bryan A.
This place was alright. My daughter really liked it and she didn't even have any sushi. This is not as authentic as it probably should have been and some of the sashimi was poorly cut which looked textually bad. It was cheap and we were able to fill up on what we ate which was good.
(3)Laurie E.
I should have looked at the sushi menu first. they make very few items and almost all are made with imitation crab in the middle. I can't have dairy so that knocked out the ones with cream cheese and they made lots of stuff with lots of sauce on them which i wasn't really interested in either. I was impressed by the fact that it was quite clean and the prices were cheap. Would have been nice if they would have put more plain fish on the conveyer belt and we wouldn't have to keep trying to get the chefs attention to make us what we wanted. They had a nice vegetarian sushi and one really nice veggie sushi with fish. Might have been better if we'd gone during peak lunch and not 2pm. They really need to add some items to their list that don't include imitation crab, cream cheese, or are fried.
(2)Eddie W.
While it may be a "cute" concept it lacks the refinement that one expects from an authentic sushi restaurant. Generally, one expects to have their rolls made for them as soon as they order to ensure that the freshness of the fish is kept intact. By making the rolls ahead of time it ruins the quality of the fish. One can only venture a guess of how long the rolls have been sitting in their tiny spherical prison. Even worse, some of the entrees are uncovered, leaving it susceptible to roaming pathogens. Health concerns are certainly made more aware when dining here. Enough about the "sushi", lets discuss the bento box lunch special. It comes with chicken teriyaki, miso salad, 2 pieces of gyzo and 3 california rolls. First off, the salad was drenched in a thick miso paste like vinaigrette. It was so overpowering that it made the salad inedible. The chicken teriyaki was also a utter disappointment. The sauce was extremely sweet and that was all you tasted. The chicken was also bland and seemed to be "pre-prepared". As for the california rolls and gyzo, absolutely pitiful. I think that a one star is quite harsh but it just did not satisfy the senses. The bento deal might be cheap but remember, you get what you pay for.

Best "track" sushi place ever. Sushi off this track is better than half the restaurants ive been to, and ive been all over the country. Here's where the place shines... absolutely the best sushi for the money. Check it out - you won't regret it.

I enjoyed this sushi boat style restaurant because they had many different type of rolls, though not more then i can remember, and for prices that i wouldn't necessarily willingly go back for. All in all, its ok. It was quite when we went around 4pm, and i actually got my dad eating sushi again.

This place is super authentic and cute! The interior is well done and I never would have thought that such a cute restaurant would be in there from the outside. The sushi itself is yummy and fresh with is a concern when it is on the track for me. They have ridiculously low prices for all the sushi you can get. We thought it was a Steal. What a fun restaurant.

sushi pre-made and served on a conveyor belt. def. not my style but was invited by my uncle for dinner so had to grim and bear it. sushi rice had no flavor and was warm. karage chicken was tasteless. prices were way affordable. bottom line: if you're looking for super cheap sushi and you're not looking for quality then this is your spot.

I just love sushi and I try to eat it a few times a week. The problem is that when I go to the very very nice Japanese restaurants the money runs out fast. I try to get to these restaurants as much as my budget allows. So, this leads to lessor sushi restaurants and belt sushi was not created for the rich and famous. It was created in Japan for the Tokyo office worker who had to climb down from the office towers, find and eat lunch fast, and run back up in 15 minutes. Ready made (fast food) sushi hits the spot. (You should see them slurp up very hot ramen and udon in the winter. The steam just rising all around them.) So these places are the McDonalds of Japan. Back to Sushi Track. Its a nice sushi belt place that serves up good fast food sushi. I just tried their "Raw Fish Rice". It was very nice. They give you an udon size bowl with lettuce on the bottom, chunks of raw fish, seaweed and other toppings. They give you a bowl of rice and you dump it in the big bowl and toss everything around with the nice spicy sauce. Very Tasty...... The trick with sushi roundabouts is, you watch what they are making and you pick it up when they put it on the track... Fresher... Cheers...

Sushi Track just opened up just a block away from my usual haunt, Marinopolis, so I was interested in seeing how the two sushi bars compared. I may give Sushi Track another try, but I don't plan on giving up on Marinopolis anytime soon. Sushi Track had much more variety, including a greater variety of alcoholic drinks. I found it difficult to order stuff that wasn't on the track, however, and a long wait for those items because there are few chefs and too far a distance between the chefs and many of the seating areas to be able to talk to them. The items that I ate was all much worse than at Marinopolis; even the rice and edamame seemed too mushy. (For the record, my dining companion thought what he ate was delicious so I guess the quality depends on what you choose.) I asked the waitress for inari, and she seemed unfamiliar with it, which is somewhat bizarre. After about 10 minutes, though, the chefs did give me some. Everything was .50 cents to $1 more than their Marinopolis counterparts, and the pricing scheme was more complicated. Plates come in similar colors and nothing is an even $1 or $2 but rather $1.65, $2.05, etc. Overall the decor and vibe here is much classier than at Marinopolis, but I miss the intimacy.

So it had been years since I came by Beaverton Town Square, but I was on that side of Beaverton so I decided to see what changed. For years I remember this place struggling with small boutique ma and pa shops with about 4 places to eat at. Today most of the shops are gone with a few still hanging on but with a lot more places to eat and a lot healthier. I love sush,i and anytime I see a sushi on track and it' can't be to all that bad. And when it's as clean as this one is, it's an extra bonus! I was seated immediately and thinking it was new I was informed they'd been there for over 2 yrs. Anyway the other thing I was attracked to was the pricing. Everything from 11am till 3pm was only $1 to $1.50 and even better they didn't make you buy a drink... for me being on a budget, it just meant another plate or 2 of sushi. The reason I'm there in the first place! I was disappointed that the server went in the back and was there for a long time. Other then that I HIGHLY recommend this place. And I will be going there again real soon. P.S. my 11 yr old is a very picky eater, but he had no problem here.
(4)Chris M.
The service was lax... Sushi was ok. Your below average track place.
(2)Darvish B.
For conveyor belt sushi, this place does the trick. Cleaner and just as cheap as the local Sushi land. The best way to get the freshest plates is ask for it to be made to order or grab it as the sushi chefs stick them on the belt. Then you know you are getting something that hasn't been traveled around the track 100 times.
(3)Nat C.
The server was RUDE! She took our drink order upon arriving and never returned again. When paying we marked zero in the tip section of the receipt since A) we never got a refill on our tea and B) we served ourself the sushi. The server took great offense to this and practically threw our receipt at us. The "sushi" consists of deep fried cold california type rolls. Gross!

You don't go to a track-style sushi restaurant expecting traditional food. You go there for quick, cheap sushi. By that criteria, this place is really good. Fast, fresh, cheap and a decent selection.
(4)Larry H.
So sad, stale sushi on a conveyor belt, almost as bad as seeing desserts that haven't been sold go to waste. Everything was lukewarm with no taste whatsoever. After 7 plates, my belly, my mouth, my mind had all decided that it was 7 plates too much. If I hadn't had a beer, it would have been much worse. After a couple hours of cramps I felt a bit better, but I was still bitter with disgust. Never again, although if I wanted to have a meeting I wanted to cut short this would be the place, so it gets one star. In every dining experience it is important to see the good side of bad dining.

I'm a fan. I'm also a fan because of their WINTER SALE. Just check 'em out.

Great rotating sushi selection. Yummilicious! Friendly staff. Do easy to choose something you'll like.

(3)Adriana V.
Sushi tapas heaven. Another cheap and yummy meal in Portland. All day happy hour on sushi...nothing abpve $2..
(3)Cheryl D.
(3)Chad P.

(5)Linda P.
We go to Sushi Track for special occasions. I can't really eat the rice, but I love Sushi. The prices are good and the place regularly gets high health department ratings. That's something I check before I go to restaurants and finding a Sushi place that's gotten 100% from their restaurant inspections is rare.
(4)Travis D.
(1)Kerri L.
(5)David W.
(3)Yael N.
(4)Tyler H.
Good sushi, fresh salmon just ask and friendly customer service (including a cute gal hostess). I go here regularly and I enjoy myself every time. Very clean (at least it seems so), which is the first thing i look for. I recommend this place.
(4)Max P.

This is probably the worst sushi I've ever had. Everything tasted old and incredibly salty. I'm no stranger to strip mall sushi joints. I wasn't expecting a five star meal, but even so this was disappointing. Not exactly "cheap" either. Anything worth eating was a $2 plate and the portions were pretty skimpy.

sushi pre-made and served on a conveyor belt. def. not my style but was invited by my uncle for dinner so had to grim and bear it. sushi rice had no flavor and was warm. karage chicken was tasteless. prices were way affordable. bottom line: if you're looking for super cheap sushi and you're not looking for quality then this is your spot.

I've been to many sushi track places and often. This is in the top 3 in the Portland metro area - in my opinion. Their lunch prices are especially good, all plates are $1.00 or $1.50 before 3pm. Try it out. It's quick, easy, fresh, and very affordable.

Wow.. even for conveyor belt sushi, this place is pretty bad. The sushi is warm, poor selection and even the edamame is cooked to death. I hadn'tbeen to this place in about six months, it used to be better.

Fresher... Cheers...

The service was lax... Sushi was ok. Your below average track place.
