I have not been to a Pietros since I was a kid out in Milwaukie OR. It's just as I remembered to. It's got this classy, retro feeling that doesnt come off as trying to hard, or cheesy. I was there not to long ago with a friend, his son was celebrating his ninth birthday and it was just a great experience. The food is pretty decent to, usually your kiddo version and your adult version have different tastes yanno? I'd probably order from them again, for just me. Great crust, nice spread of toppings and the price isnt to hard on the wallet either. Plus the service staff I encountered were nice, helpful, and generally cheery.

Updating to say there are really 2 Pietro's experiences. One, I had when I took my niece there -- fun and games and good times. Two, I had last night when my fiance and I stopped in for a bite. Not a single table that was not bussed or reserved for (or in use by) a kids' party. Kids RUNNING through the dining area, screaming. They are having a good time but damn, we were not. At ALL. So loud, and kids run without any regard for other diners. We'll be carry out or delivery customers only from here on out. Remember back in the day when restaurants had smoking and non-smoking sections? This place needs a family & parties section (which preferably would connect directly to the games area so kids aren't running into adults waiting in line) and then also a quiet, sane, adults-only section. With sound-insulating walls. But the pizza....still my favorite. I can't quit you, Pietro's.

I remember Pietro's from when I was a kid. My wife and I were excited when they opened a new location in Beaverton so we came down for one of my kids birthdays. I have to go against the grain of most of the reviews here but I really was not impressed. The pizza just wasn't that great. The taco pizza was decent but I just remember it being better. We also had a cheese pizza and it was 'ok' but the crust on their pizza doesn't really jive with me. The atmosphere was a bit crazy. We were seated in the upstairs for our birthday party (think lots of kids, ages from 4-9). We were told that we had to keep it down as the foot stomping sounds were annoying people downstairs - our kids ran across the floor upstairs a couple of times - and yes we told them to stop before anyone came up because we figured we they didn't need to be acting crazy. However, I also thought it was a pizza joint geared around kids so, a little noise (especially during a large bday party) is to be expected and if you have that many little kids, maybe you should seat em downstairs as they are going to make noise.... Anyway, just reminds me a lot of Chuck E Cheese style entertainment and just as bad quality food. I doubt we'll be returning anytime soon. Glad others found it enjoyable but that's my take.

I liked the atmosphere with the pirate theme and my 6 and 7 yr old boys loved the games. My wife and kids had individual pizzas and I had the spaghetti dinner. Kids finished their pizza but the wife didn't think the pizza was good. My spaghetti came with meat sauce and some garlic bread sticks. The spaghetti came in a small bowl the size that a cup of soup would usually be served in. I noticed that it was very bland and noticed the cup was half full of water and the pasta tasted and felt like it was rinsed off with lukewarm warm water. I sent it back and the 2nd time it wasn't soaking in water but was still very bland. Canned sauce tastes much better. The spaghetti diner also came with unlimited salad bar which although was mediocre was the best part of dinner. I gave it 3 stars for the salad bar, the price and the decor but the rest of the food was pretty bad.

I was stoked about the fact that I found a new miniature golf location in the area... up until I reached Hole 9 and realized that it was the last hole in the course. The cost is $5 a person, which actually isn't that reasonable considering the fact that you're only getting 9 holes instead of the standard 18. They provide 3-D glasses at no extra charge. My boyfriend and I took one pair to share and checked out how to rooms looked - it was a neat effect, but 3-D gives me a headache, so I only took a quick glance at each of the rooms and then put them away. It's a neat gimmick, but nothing much more than that. The course is glow in the dark, pirate themed. The decorations were actually really awesome. I loved the paintings on the walls along with all of the props. Some negatives - this course doesn't include standard miniature golf rules printed on the scorecard, so you have to decide in advance on standard things like max putts and if you get a stroke penalty for hitting your ball out of the area. The latter is very applicable at this location due to the fact that I think almost every course had a low section of wall / missing wall as the major challenge. Another negative was that the sound was REALLY LOUD. I liked the ambiance noises / music, but they could have taken it down about five notches. Also, since this was right next to the arcade where a bunch of kids are essentially allowed to roam freely, we had a few kids just (rudely) walk through the miniature golf course while we were playing to check it out. Overall, the course was nice, but it was lacking a few key things. We didn't eat at the restaurant, but it looked like a cute place (especially for kids). I really enjoyed that the counter where we purchased our mini golf was a tiny pirate ship. There was also another pirate ship with tables in the middle that you could eat at. The hostess stand was set up like a captain's wheel. There was a laser tag area (did not check this out at all), and we walked through the arcade.

1-15, one year later, time for a quick update. We still get the pizza delivered and although by the time you pay for the pizza and delivery and tip it is kind of expensive the pizza is still my all time favorite. This updated review is for my dining in experience which I would not wish on my worst enemy. We came in on a weekend for lunch. Ordered our pizza and sat down to wait. First off they need more people working the floor, tons of tables were littered with pizza, napkins, etc in desperate need of bussing. That never happened sadly during the entire time we were there. Secondly for us non kid people, it was LOUD. It seems the protocol is to order your pizza and let your kids run around un-supervised and totally ignore them (great job parents). As we are eating the lady sitting next to us proceeds to change her baby's dirty diaper on the table. I instantly lost my appetite and was grossed out beyond words. No she was not alone and helpless, she had an older lady with her and a husband herding the other child around. No excuse for that kind of laziness. Personally I will never eat in that joint again, not for me.

Took my 3yo nephew and his friend here earlier on a weekend day and we had the place mostly to ourselves. I wasn't sure what to expect but they had fun just running around the place and not spending money since they don't quite get how to play games yet. I think if we had come later it would have been a bit of a disaster with older kids around. This is definitely for older kids and not the littler ones. I probably won't bring him back for another year or so when he can start to have the attention span of playing mini golf. However, as an adult, I would totally come back to play some mini golf and laser tag. Not the best food ever, but definitely a step up from chuck e cheese and the ilk. The pizza is fine and the salad bar had enough selection to keep me happy.

I came in for lunch and ordered the salad bar and breadsticks combo. The main salad is salad mix, nothing special. Everything else looked a little wilted, but edible. The frustrating part is that I got my salad, ate it and still waited another 7 minutes before my breadsticks came out...a half-hour in total. I had to get them to go because I had run out of lunch time. And they were NOT crowded (only 4 other tables besides me). A half hour for breadsticks? The further sad thing is that the breadsticks were so hard, the construction guys I work with didn't even want to eat them...and they'll eat anything. I won't be going back.

Came in on an empty Sunday night and ordered a kids' pizza and a small vegetarian one for adults. Asked for half without cheese, regular crust. ALMOST AN HOUR LATER we get a large veggie with cheese and the kid'd raggedy-looking, misshapen thing. They realized their mistake but didn't tell us, we had to ask. We did get the large pie free but had to take it all to go. I don't think the cool pirate ship is enough to tempt us bank when they are undoubtedly busier and, if possible, slower. I wish I could share how it tastes, but it's been 56 minutes and I haven't eaten a thing. When the small pie did arrive at 59 minutes, it was pretty and tasty. The kitchen chief was apparently on break when the mistake occurred. Still, it was a long wait with only bad mass-market iced tea to keep me occupied.

Not sure why Beaverton Pietro's doesn't taste the same as Milwaukie Pietro's . Milwaukie is much better and the service is much better.

First time there tonight. Pretty funny walking did not expect a chuckie cheese type since I was with a bunch of adults and one being adamant that we go here for pizza. Lots of kids but they never really had an effect on us. We ordered staff was ON IT. very pleasant with the madness that went on in the arcade. There was 10 of us and everyone ordered different things. Pizza was really good. NO CHUCKIE CHEESE PIZZA HERE. salad bar was clean and fresh. Many choices. Would recommend for any ages any time.

I ended up here after trying to go bowling elsewhere, only to find the place closed for a private event. I did not try the food, only mini golf and arcade games. First, I had to wait for any staff to be able to pay as there was no one at the games register or front register. I then paid at the front register, and then had to wait for the games register guy to set me up with clubs. The miniature golf is only 9 holes and is LOUD. My 3-year-old was scared by the noise and some of the decor (you know, pirates and skeletons and all that). Plus, it's not the typical mini golf that I've got ingrained in my brain - spinning windmills, rolling hills, things like that. Just pretty short, basic holes jammed together in a tiny space and surrounded by fluorescent painted bricks. One word to describe it: Lame. After finishing mini golf, we played some arcade games. On the plus side, they seemed cheaper than other local places I've been. When we had our tickets counted, we waited once again to get our prizes - 5th in line with no one at the counter. The games counter guy was at the front counter with no one else in sight. Eventually we were helped, but this place seems to be seriously understaffed. I don't know if I would come back to this place, now that I know what it is like.

Hmm, should I start with pros or cons first? Pros: the pizza is fairly decent. Lots of toppings, that you surely pay for. If you like thin crust, give them a try (if you can afford it). Cons: the garlic bread with cheese is nothing to write home about. It tastes like frozen bread cooked and slapped with some store bought garlic spread then a little cheese that is barely heated up/melted. Their customer service is TerRiBlE! We went in at 930pm on a Monday (8-9-15) night, so, yes, a little late. Not an excuse to have crappy customer service though. We stood in line over 5 minutes while a teenage girl swept the floor in the kitchen. She acted as if we didn't exist or that she didn't see us. There was a couple behind us that observed this and after a few minutes they just walked out. I finally yelled as loud as I could and said "can we get some help please"? Her response "umm, the girl who should help you isn't here". No kidding! So, about 2 minutes later, a younger kid/guy with a hat on says "well, I'm not even clocked in but I guess I can help you" .

This is my favorite pizza. It's Pacific NW-style pizza, and it's fantastic. It's cool to see the Pietro's brand growing again after such a fall during the early 90's. Look. NY-style pizza is great; I love it. Pietro's is quite different, but every bit as great. What makes this pizza is the unbelievable crust, which is thin and crisp on the bottom layer with its dusting of cornmeal, and the top layer somehow rises up and creates a bubbly surface for the cheese and sauce to grab onto. The sauce is just sweet enough, and the toppings are tops. I'm very, very happy that the Beaverton store is open for business.

The pizza is good, the salad bar is mediocre but the theming of this place is incredible. Brilliantly themed, well lit, super family friendly. Their 3D black light mini golf? THE BEST. Amazing. I've never played mini golf on a course like it. We kept saying "WOW!" at each hole. Absolutely worth the $5 to play. Between dinner, golf and the arcade, it was the most fun we've had as a family in a long time.

Took my kids here Saturday night, and they absolutely loved it. That being said, I noticed a few area's that were really lacking. First, I kept seeing 2 young men coming in, walking all around, then leaving. 2 same men a few different times. Pants literally around ankles (my 7 year old even commented that she saw one of the butts) It felt like they were casing the place to rob or shoot it up. I was getting incredibly nervous as these young men obviously were from a gang (no denying it at all with certain tattoos they had). The hostessses (and Im assuming older gentlemen who was the manager) let them walk in and by them countless times without a word. Finally, after over an hour they walked out with another man who worked there (heavyset w/ a tattoo on his neck). COMPLETELY unprofessional to have, and for management to allow this to happen. Especially when it's a family restaurant and I'm supposed to feel comfortable with my young children running around. I will be going again since my daughters loved it so much, but if this happens again, unfortunately that will be my last time. I really hope they clean that problem up. Other then that the other few minor issues weren't anything to not come back about (not enough token, ticket redeeming machines. Pizza was fantastic, service was awesome, salad bar was great. Priced competitively with other close by pizza/play places. My kids told me it was the new favorite place to go! I really really hope they fix the gang problem because I can not overlook that again :( My families safety is #1.

Not the same Quality as Milwaukie Pietro's Pizza We have been going to the Milwaukie Pietro's since the early 70's to celebrate our kids birthday parties and then our 10 Grandkid's Birthdays. We were thrilled to here there was a Pietro's in Beaverton, close to home, so we decided to try it. The salad was good and identical to Milwaukie. The pizza was basically not the same crust, it was doughy and tasted like it was not that fresh. The pizza sauce was salty. We had great hopes but they really need to improve the quality. I do not mind spending $27 for a pizza if it is high quality but this one was not good. Maybe there is a problem with their ovens because the original Pietro's in Milwaukie has crispy crust that bubbles up.

Count me in the camp of "longtime patron when I was a kid/teen, happy to see Pietro's experiencing a resurgence" group. My go-to Pietro's was the store on Mcloughlin, and I was all about the pepperoni back then. Thin, Oregon style crust with plenty of sauce and those little, sometimes a bit burned, spicy pepperoni slices. I could pack away so much pizza back then, and not be any worse for the wear... So, I was pleased when they announced they'd be taking over China Bay's old location off of Canyon. We visited on a rainy Friday night, and apparently the rest of unincorporated Aloha had chosen Pietro's as well. It didn't matter! This place is mammoth. It's also extremely kid-friendly, as others have noted. They've got everything from video games to skee-ball to glow-in-the-dark mini golf (whaaaat?) to keep the kidlets occupied. The process for obtaining a table and placing a food/beverage order is convoluted. Approach the front counter, tell 'em how many you have and a pseudo-host/server will take you to a table, and ensure you've got menus. Reach your table, review the menu, decide what you want and then head *back* to the front counter to order. You'll then get a number for the server to bring out your pizza. Side note: If you get a table upstairs that allows you to look down in the main dining room, a fun game is to watch the servers delivering food. Multiple times we watched servers wind through the entire dining room in order to find the number of the table they were looking for. It's just... inefficient. Suggestion to Pietro's: streamline the process. You have such a gigantic greeting area, so utilize it. Have patrons walk in, grab a printed menu, stand there and decide, then place their order in one fell swoop. I mean, we're not at the Cheesecake Factory here, c'mon. It's a safe bet that the majority of customers largely know what they want for the most part. Moving on, keep the part where a host or hostess assigns the table. Then, when pizzas are ready, just call out the numbers for customers to pick them up. People won't mind, I promise. Food: great stuff. Not wholly what I remember from my youth, but still very good. I like the Barmaid, which is Canadian Bacon, pepperoni and ground beef. Splash some hot sauce on each slice while slapping a freshly sliced tomato on top and I'm good to go. Beer: who doesn't have beer with pizza? Pietro's has below average options. They have the beer from BJ's restaurant and a few domestic choices. BJ's beer is okay - I suppose I don't mind their red. But c'mon, we're in the PNW here. Add a Widmer or two along with a Bridgeport and maybe a Deschutes and Full Sail for fun. If you really wanna shine, throw in something from Rogue or even go hog-wild and bring in a tap from Vertigo (right down TV Highway!) We'll be back, many times. I hope they get enough business to counter the undoubtedly expensive overhead the amount of real estate they're leasing warrants...

If you are looking for an over booked, under staffed, dirty, noisy place to eat at or have a kids birthday party this is the perfect place for you. We had my sons second birthday here, where I am sure they were way over the occupancy capacity, so much that there was no silverware or plates, even when asked they said they were trying to get them washed. You could hardly walk without running into others or over top of kids and they were allowing a entire basketball team to take up the laser tag area. Waited 45 minutes on the hostess to get my cake out of the back, which had been placed in the freezer rather than the refrigerator, and was frozen. Very hard to cut and eat a frozen cake with no silverware. Such load music couldn't even hear each-other talking let alone sing Happy Birthday. The place was disgusting, no tables were bussed, toilets were clogged, zero paper towels or soap in the restrooms. Staff was so minimal they couldn't take care of it or had no desire to. To top off the already fantastic experience, my son's birthday gift was given to another party. Expensive tricycle taken to someone else's car by the hostess. When they finally figured out what happen the customer service was horrific, to the point the police department had to be called and I had to drive 45 minutes to retrieve my son's birthday gift. What did the staff do.... Nothing! No apology by the hostess, nothing. Disappointing to say the least.

We only ever get food to go from Pietro's so I can't say too much about the environment (except that it's not our thing). However, the pizza is hands down the best pizza we've found in Beaverton, which is why we keep coming back here. The crust is flavorful and crispy, but never burnt. They have interesting and unique specialty pizzas, some of which are a new twist on old favorites. And my favorite part: they are perfectly willing to make a single pizza with half marinara and half white sauce. Pietro's is a bit pricy so we don't always get pizza from here, but when we do we know we'll never be disappointed. If there was one thing I could change, I would add a hard cider to their on tap lineup. They have a small but nice selection of micro-brews. However, those of us who don't like beer are left out of the fun. :'(

As a treat for the kids having such an awesome week we stopped in here. The mini golf was cool. No real video/arcade games tho which does kind of suck. They have a lot of ticket games. The kids were fine with playing those, but to be honest, with a place this size I'm just surprised there are no other games. What keeps this place at 4 and not 3 stars was the surprising pizza. Lots of good choices. A decent salad bar. The quality of the food was impressive for a place like this. The potatoes were good, and the place is clean and well lit. For a parent it was nice to enjoy a little break where we didn't want to run out ASAP, and we weren't even here for a birthday party. Not a bad place for a kids party tho. I'd say 10 and under. It was a good little break for the family.

Out went China Bay Restaurant and in its place came (of all restaurants!) Pietro's Pizza. There is a sign outside of Pietro's advertising "Mini Golf, Games, Laser Tag, and Pizza." Notice that pizza got last billing! Beaverton's Pietro's Pizza is a large, clean, and spacious restaurant. There is a pirate theme going on which is very well done. The interior consists of a pirate ship, a crow's nest, and various pirate statues. The dining area is on the left, the order counter is in the middle, and the arcade area is on the right. The dining area is made up of long tables and booths. Pietro's is an excellent place for families, large groups, and birthday parties. Large groups of people usually mean a high level of noise. Pietro's does get loud but they seem to have the noise under control. Pietro's system works like this: you order your food at the cash register and then they give you a numbered placard to take to your table. A food runner then orbits the dining area and then matches the food with the number. It's a system that works. Pietro's delivers your food in a timely manner. The staff is friendly, efficient, and helpful. A young cashier carded me for a pitcher of Coors Light. Mind you I am a gray haired man pushing 60 years old. Oh well, the poor dear was just doing as she was told. My dinner companion and I ordered a good old American combination pizza and a small pitcher of beer. Our bill was nearly $40 which I thought was kind of high. If you're a fan of the old Pietro's "Gold Coast" pizza then I'm pleased to say that nothing has changed. Pietro's still serves up the same soda cracker thin pizza curst with a minimal amount of sauce. The only thing that has changed is ingredients like linguica and pizza selections like Taco pizza. Have always felt that Pietro's Pizza serves up one of the best thin crust pizzas and I'm pleased to say that is still the case. However, if you're accustomed to some of the artisan pizza crusts around town then you might want to order a large pizza at Pietro's. The crust at Pietro's is as thin as a pancake and those with large appetites might go away hungry. Realize I'm getting old but the games in the arcade center looked silly. The prizes where you turned in your winnings seemed equally silly. Curiously the game center was not getting much action. Most of the children were at the laser tag and mini golf section. Children deserve more credit. Many of them truly know quality when they see it. Pietro's Pizza deserves full credit for doing marketing research and seeing how to make money in the pizza business. We were there on a Thursday evening and the place was packed. Welcome back to Beaverton Pietro's! Would recommend Pietro's Pizza any day as a great place for children's birthday parties and for oldsters to enjoy an old Oregon institution.

After a long and stressful day, my partner and I just wanted a pizza, and we didn't want to order from a chain. New to the area, I called Pietros at 10:55 pm, hoping they would deliver despite closing at 11. The guy who answered the phone was friendly and kind, and the delivery driver was cheerful and cool. The pizza was delicious- loved the crust. We will absolutely order again! Thank you!

A Dream Come True!!!! I grew up in Salem (I know...) where this style of pizza was plentiful. Pietro's, Abby's, Sunshine, Paddingtons... I have never found this style anywhere else but the Willamette Valley/Central Oregon. The crust is unique... a crunchy bottom with a top layer of chewy, bubbly, goodness. There is something about these layers that makes this pizza so interesting and enjoyable. Therefore, I jumped for joy when I heard Pietro's would be expanding to Beaverton, within 2 miles from our house. This location has not disappointed us. The pizza is solid, tasty, and includes my husband's favorite Taco that he couldn't find anywhere else in Beaverton. They also deliver to our location (I agree their website and delivery information needs work) in a timely and friendly manner. I give the pizza 5 stars. We went in the actual location one time and received very good customer service. Our kid is older now, so we won't be doing the Pirate experience much if at all, but the facilities looked fun and would be good for families. The glowing mini golf is a draw and would be interesting... but they don't allow beverages in there, so my dream of whacking a glowy ball around whilst drinking a frosty brew won't come to pass. I hope more people try this place and enjoy the pizza, because it's my favorite and I'd like to see Beaverton Pietro's stay around a long long time.

I'm only reviewing the taco pizza because it is the only thing I'll ever eat here:). Bring your family it's a kid spot, then get beer and order a large taco pizza...your welcome. I think lots of people up here have fond childhood memories of the one in Salem so I bet it will get busy quick if it's not already.

Great place for a kid's Birthday party! Here's an insider's tip! BOOK THE WHOLE PLACE BEFORE IT OPENS TO THE PUBLIC! If you want to have an AMAZING Birthday party (for kids ages 4-16 I would think would be the best age group that would enjoy this), Pirate themed (ie, you don't have to bring any decorations!), and they will have a blast! Call ahead! On the weekends they rent out the mini golf and the laser tag area by the hour at a very reasonable rate (much cheaper than if we paid by the person!). The only catch is you have to come between 9 AM - 11 AM before it is opened to the public. It is pure bliss, you have the full staff available and you basically have the run of the place to yourself. We've done a lot of different party places around town for our twins and to have a private Bday party at a place like this was a spectacular deal. Dave, the manager was top notch and made sure we had all we needed. We stayed afterwards and reserved "The Black Pearl" ship so that we could enjoy the pizzas that we ordered as a group. The staff was fabulous, clean facilities, the kids loved the blacklight 3-D (glasses were included!) mini golf and especially the laser tag! In the one hour of laser tag we got in 3 full games with 20 people in each game! Wouldn't hesitate to do this again! Thanks to the great staff who made this Birthday party wonderful! Oh, and the TACO PIZZA..Yes, please!

okay..... I have loved Pietro's since I was a kid.... I loved their pizza.... more to the point I loved their taco pizza..... yes that has been a family fav since they came out.... in fact I got an roommate addicted to them when we were younger (I would get them to go) and he called them the largest tostada served in a box....but better. So I was excited when they came to my neck of the woods..... since they have pretty much all disappeared it is good to see them coming back. First I walked in and was greeted by a lovely young lady wearing a pirate costume.......PIRATES!!! the place is done up with pirate ships, pirate decor, pirate statues..... pirates.... if you dont like the seafaring scallywags...... stay away. They have mini golf and laser tag somewhere..... I know it is there you just cant see it yay.... and games they have lots of games to occupy the kiddos or the adults reliving their kiddo days. I did notice a halfway decent beer selection so yay for that.... oh did I forget to mention the place is freaking huge?? you can not tell at all this used to be one of my fav Chinese restaurants and that I thought I would be mad that Pietro's did away with my most beloved hot and sour soup.... nope I am not even mad anymore lol. Now.... about the web site.....IT LIES!!!!! ALL LIES!!! Since Pietro's has opened it has gone from saying that location does not do delivery to yes we do just not to you.... I live like 2 miles from the restaurant. grrrrrrr. so I decided what the hell and just drove in. I talked with the lovely (Yes everyone I dealt with was pleasant and just plain lovely) cashier and it turns out that they do indeed deliver to my address so I informed them of what the web site said and the fact that when you order a pizza on line it gets very odd and confusing once you have selected your pizza.... as in you have to put the toppings on it .... but it is not very clear what you are doing and then when you think you have done it correctly and press submit and then check it says it so weirdly that I opted to just drive in. She said that she would play with it tonight when she gets home and then let the IT guys know.... that she was originally hired as a delivery driver but moved to cashier since they almost never do deliveries..... now she understands why. so hopefully that will get fixed soon. she said just call in and that way you can be sure as to what you are ordering. The salad bar is itty bitty tiny.... but hey if you are in a pizza place and need to have a salad because you feel guilty for splurging on your diet then they do have an itty bitty salad bar... they say 26 items but I am sure that was including the 6 salad dressings, the sunflower seeds etc... lol. I am oh so happy they are here now and not so mad they took the place of my fav hot and sour soup.... and in case you were wondering yes.... the taco pizza was just as awesome as I remember .....giggle..... so.... stuffed......so incredibly happy right now

My company went to Pietro's for a kid-friendly outing and we had a great time! Penny was our server/fun guide and she was extremely helpful and accommodating for a crowd of our size at the last minute. The management staff helped us find the best deal for a party our size and made the event a success!

Absolutely delighted to see a new-ish Pietro's has apparently already developed a robust presence out in BVN. I grew up on the Pietro's pies on N. Lombard (which was Chico's Pizza before then, in the late 60s and 70s and a long string of failures after Pietro's packed up and left in the 90s, the most recent attempt being a notably bad Chinese buffet that died a slow, gruesome, but inevitable death). Loved being able to break bread in the same building as local Portland Wrestling legends like Billy Jack Haynes and Playboy Buddy Rose. Nowadays they have fun for the kids way beyond your run of the mill arcade games, what with Laser tag, etc. I'm just glad to see that delivery has not become obsolete. Pietro's, you can gussy up your thin crust pies and send 'em our way just about any danged ol' time. Biggups to Pietro's for keeping so many classics on their menu, we've loved their Hula Lulas and bacon cheddars and Mediterranean pies for generations now! If you can lure some of those old Legends of PNWW out your way, why, that's instant 5 star status for more than a few in Yelp Land. Yeep Nation Stand UP!

Finally hit Pietro's up. 10 pm on Saturday is absolutely dead and kinda nice. Except for no people watching. Had large pepperoni, salad(for the Mrs.), and personal taco. Salad typical. Pepperoni ok. Better quality pepperoni would be nice. Love the thin crispy crust. Taco not bad. Not all places use refried beans but they do. Taco sauce bottles available as well at the salad bar. Over all pretty good. Boys had fun as well with Lazer tag and mini golf. And, bud light on tap. Bonus for me. I'll come back.

Let's hope just growing pains. Ordered a cheese pizza. It was really bad. It was not bad as in unsafe to eat, but was really cheap tasting...I'm trying to find an equivalent. I can't emphasize how bad it was. The crust was tasteless and card-board-y. The cheese was exceptionally crappy...you know those pizzas where you scrape everything off hoping to somehow salvage the dough and sauce? Yeah, it was like that. This wasn't a great pizza, it wasn't an acceptable pizza. Less than that. Service was fine. We came in at 9:30 and they close at 11, so fairly dead. We'll surely be back and I'll update if we have a better experience next time. Again, with all the other good reviews maybe I was just unlucky...

Solid pizza just as Pietros is known for and a super clean, fun environment. Arcade, mini golf and more, great for all ages

This place is a joke. When we walked in, all the tables were dirty - we had to ask to have one cleared off so we could sit. We ordered salad bars and pizza. The salad bar was FILTHY. There was food dripped all over the bar, in the wrong containers, many were empty. We were there for about 2 hours and no one cleaned it, ever. The pizza was ok, not great but not bad. A few of the games didn't work, there was garbage etc in the arcade area, and the prize staff was impatient and borderline rude. Overall the staff was unfriendly at best. I would definitely not go back, ever.

First the good the place is very clean and decorated really good in a pirate theme. The laser tag was fun and the kids had a blast playing it. They do have some pretty good games and the tickets do give you better prizes than some places. Now for the bad it is way overpriced, the pizza is good but its over 20 dollars for a large anything. The salad bar is small and its over 5 dollars. Lasertag is 8 dollars and at Wunderland in Beaverton its only 4 and that's without coupons. We went on a weds evening and it wasn't crowded at all, but the prices might be why.

Nice to have another options for the kids, but was hoping for more. Seemed there was an excess of employees standing around doing less important work. When you first walk in you need to wait to be seated..Once they seat you, they give you a menu and tell you to walk up to the counter to place your order. Pizza was better than the competition, but the salad bar was gross. The entertainment options were pretty much the same as the other places. A great place to take kids and slowly convert cash into worthless plastic trinkets.

Lots of fun for the kids! My daughter went to a birthday party thrown here and had a blast! The games were decent and the prizes were better than other places Ive seen. Pizza was pretty good. I liked the thin crust. We will be coming back here.

Taco pizza was good, the others just OK. Salad bar a bit lacking (no tomato, bell peppers, jalepenos, carrots and olives not sliced). Great prices on wine by the glass $2.75! Games seemed spend several take 3-4 tokens. Inside is super clean and the pirate theme is pretty awesome. We would come back for a party but probably not just to come.

Ever since my 4 year old saw this restaurant going in, he's been BEGGING us to go to "The Pirate Restaurant" as he calls it. We told him we'd go sometime, but it never really worked out. Well, a couple of nights ago, thanks to lovely Oregon rainy weather, our power went out. I hadn't really felt like cooking anyway, so figured now I had a legitimate excuse not to have to make dinner. ;-) Anyway, when my husband and I were discussing where we should go, since we definitely needed to eat and weren't sure when the power would come back on, my 4 year old suggested once again that we go. I looked and my husband, and he agreed. Cue extremely excited 4 year old!! I called just to make sure they, too, were not powerless as we were, and alas, they weren't. My son was in PIRATE HEAVEN from the second we walked through the door. He has had a pirate obsession for the past few months, and is planning on being one for Halloween next week, so this was the perfect thing for a family night out. And even better, I had a coupon from the Entertainment Book! The staff was FANTASTIC! It was the middle of the week, so we chose a perfect time to go, as there were only a few other tables of people in the whole place. I asked if they took the coupon, since the new location was not listed on the back and they said yes. So, my husband and I ordered a medium pizza and got 2 kid's meals for free!! Woo hoo!! They each chose the pizza, of course. My 1 and 4 year olds both gobbled it up and had some leftover for the next day. My son decided that THIS is where he is going to have his 5th birthday party. I went up a few times to ask questions about birthday parties. Even though my son's birthday isn't for 4 months, they answered every question I had. Of course they have a pirate theme option, and it seems pretty reasonable. My only downfall with the place is the tokens. Since my son is still pretty young, and my 1 year old is too young to enjoy the games, we just paid $5 to get a few tokens. I guess I'm used to Chuck E. Cheese where all the games are 1 token. Here they range anywhere from 1-4 tokens, so if you want to do all the things that are 4 tokens, it's going to eat up your tokens pretty fast. Since he's young, we were able to find several 1 and 2 token games for him to do, but it is a bummer that they are different amounts. My husband and son did enjoy the 4 token roller coaster simulation ride, though! I got a great video of them shaking around. Overall, great service, yummy food, and a happy pirate-loving 4 year old.

As a longtime customer and former employee of Pietro's back before the crash and burn of the chain in the late 90s, I was hesitant yet excited to try the Pizza from the first new Pietro's restaurant in almost three decades. Given that it is a new location, I tempered my expectations due to new restaurant growing pains. So the issues that I describe may just be them working through the kinks. Upon entering, I was greeted by a station where you would be shown to your seat by a host. This was new, as all of the.other Pietro's I'd been to, past and present, were "seat yourself". After being seated and handed a menu (which was in the upstairs loft), I was told to go back downstairs and order. Ummm... what? Why not let me make my order before being seated? This made little sense to me. Anyway, truck back downstairs and order: small Barmaid (Canadian Bacon, beef, pepperoni, six pieces) and a soda (self serve). 14 bucks. A little spendy, since I know the profit margins these places have, but what the hell, I'm here just as much for nostalgia as for the food. Even though they were busy, my order was brought to my table in about 15 minutes, which I was impressed. It was steaming hot, pretty efficient from oven to table. Points for that. Now, onto the meat of the matter: the Pizza. As someone who was borderline obsessive with the product of Pietro's in the past, I would have to give this an 8/10. The crust (thin crispy, cornmeal bottom) is pretty damn spot-on. I don't know if they have slate-brick ovens in the kitchen or the conveyor abominations, but it was cooked properly with a good amount of crunch. The sauce, which there was, honestly, a little TOO MUCH of, was pretty much how I remembered, a little spicy and bold tomatoey, with the cheese being plentiful enough to hold the toppings on. The toppings, however, are where the pizza fell the two notches. The canadian bacon was dry, the pepperoni was over-the-top spicy, and the ground beef was pre-formed pellets, not hand crumbled from real ground beef at the assembly station. Plus, and most importantly.... they just tasted cheap. The soda: Pepsi products. Not much you can say on that. The atmosphere: well, this is where "old school" me loses the boat. I understand the need for the games, the laser tag, the mini golf. It's business, and the marketing data doesn't lie. The pirate theme of the place overall is well done. But I remember when it was the PIZZA that brought people into Pietro's back in the day. Now it just seems like an afterthought. One last thing: being in the upstairs loft, I saw servers coming upstairs with handfuls of pizzas, only to realize that the numbers they were looking for weren't up here. They then had to haul the pizzas back down the stairs, looking for the recipients in the main downstairs area. This seems highly inefficient and opens the danger of the server spilling the pizza on the downward stair trip. This should be rethought. Overall Grade: a solid "B". The pizza has the potential of being its former awesome, just needs some upticks on the ingredient quality. The atmosphere is what it is and will bring in the families, so I can't fault them. I'll be back. EPILOGUE: On leaving, I struck up a conversation with a managerial type, basically respectfully giving the opinions I expressed here. He was very receptive and nice about it, even on the negative aspects. He thanked me and gave me a business card with a note on the back for a complimentary dinner on the house for me and my family! I was very impressed and thanked him. Once getting to my car, I looked at the card and it was from Ken Bay, the CEO of Pietro's corporate. Nice to know that I was able to give my feedback straight to the top.

OK, I am not a person that grew up with Pietro's. I have been to Chicago, had super pizza there, been to New York and had excellent pizza there. This was OK. It was not great, it was not bad, it was OK. I would recommend the place for kids, and groups with no hesitation. I went here to screen it for a friend traveling from Seattle with a group, so I went with no preconceived notions of goodness or badness, I took two of our grown children (18 and 21) and a friend of our daughter's who was 19. We are older (say fifty), so a pretty varied taste group in all. The rating of everyone was a surprise to me though, we were all within about 1 point. We liked, not loved the pizza it was, again, good, not great. Two of our party ordered grinders, they were substantial, but overpriced by the words of my wife and son. The drinks were a bit overpriced. When a pitcher (no refill and sub two liters), is a bad investment, and a single glass of soda is a good purchase (free refill), and a two liter bottle, available behind the counter for $2.50 for the take out orders is a better deal (by a long way) it seems a bit overpriced to those of us that can add. The Pizzas comes normally as thin crust, which is great for me, as I love a good thin crust that is well executed. I was impressed, the crust was excellent, well done, and followed the old-time rules right up to the cornmeal under the crust to keep it mobile and not burning in the oven. The toppings were a little less than excellent, and obviously processed, not a winner, and the loss of one star above. The sauce had a hint of spiciness, a nice touch and gave the whole ensemble a bit of a sparkle, but not enough to overcome the processed products in the meat department. The cheese was god and cheesy, and you could definitely tell it was there (Bravo!) but it was not overdone. The kids gave the meal the following ratings 2, 3, and 3.5. Two had Pizzas and one had a grinder. My wife and I gave them a 2 and a 3 from me. This was due to her grinder, that "seemed to be missing something" - not sure what, and she won't YELP to tell you herself. This is, above all, a kid friendly and happy place great for groups and there were a lot there on our visit night. All of the under 16 crowd around us seemed to be happy and content, but I feel the over 16 crowd was only there to keep the "unders" in line and talk to the folks they were sitting with, not for the food. Considering that, and our day of visit, Wednesday, this was likely pretty par for the restaurant. We spent an hour and a half, no complaints on wait time, cleanliness, or friendliness of the staff, this is a fine establishment, I just wish their pizza had been put together with a little more thought, and a little less processed products. It seems obvious that if you come in for a Pizza or a grinder, you want to be impressed with it (24.00/pizza - Large, and 8.00/grinder). Overall bill was about fifteen dollars per person with leftovers of a ¾ of a pizza (we ordered two large pizzas to try and share), drinks appeared to be a bit on the high side, and if you can bring your own cups in, order the two liter, it is the best of several bad choices.

We took our son to Pietros because he loves Pirates. I love Pirates too. Its a cool pirate pizza place, with games and a big ship in the middle you can eat in! There's laser tag and mini golf too. Its a great place to take kids for sure. Also I have to admit that the pizza was actually really good! Also, I feel like the prices on the games were pretty fair and it was a fair ratio on the tickets you could accumulate and the cost for toys / prizes were fair as well. All around, Ill be going back for sure, and not just for the play for the pizza as well!

This ain't no Chuck & Cheese pizza! Surprisingly really good! Tried the BBQ chicken and the crispy crust is where it's at. The kids 11 & 14 had a blast doing the laser tag! We will be back! Bonus Shock Top Raspberry on draft!

Great pizza. Plus laser tag, an awesome 3D mini golf course, arcade and prizes. Family fun all around. The prices for kids are cheaper than fast food kids meals and much better. Good value and great fun.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

(4)Lori Z.

This place is awesome! We had our daughters 16th birthday here. Great fun! Very reasonable prices. The staff was very friendly and professional. Highly recommend for any occasion.

(5)Carissa B.

Will not come here again!! The pizza tastes like cardboard, the salad bar was NOT fresh and I saw knats flying over it. The tables around us haven't been cleaned up. Overall... very dirty and disgusting!!

Don't order for delivery pizza came hard cold and over cooked. They covered it with tomatoes to make up for the burnt taste but still it was not edible took one bite threw it away and charged me $30 bucks for it never again

They Rock...Ok They made a slight mistake...I wont even say what cause they made it more than right... they made me feel important and went way above and beyond to make it right...I love them and have told so many people since my experience and will always go back whenever I can oh and the food is amazing,,,,Aaron and the Woman Manager I sure wish I got her name, they did it right thank you so much to all the staff.

(1)Ron D.
(3)Tim L.
(3)Jessica T.
Lots of fun for the kids! My daughter went to a birthday party thrown here and had a blast! The games were decent and the prizes were better than other places Ive seen. Pizza was pretty good. I liked the thin crust. We will be coming back here.
(4)Melinda O.

(4)Izabella H.
This ain't no Chuck & Cheese pizza! Surprisingly really good! Tried the BBQ chicken and the crispy crust is where it's at. The kids 11 & 14 had a blast doing the laser tag! We will be back! Bonus Shock Top Raspberry on draft!
(4)Kevin H.
Great pizza. Plus laser tag, an awesome 3D mini golf course, arcade and prizes. Family fun all around. The prices for kids are cheaper than fast food kids meals and much better. Good value and great fun.
