Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

I really don't get why Chipotle is so popular. Maybe their meat is really good, and as a vegetarian, i simply don't get that perk. Or maybe it's just how trendy things go. And it's the excessive popularity of this chain that makes it such a chore. Even at 11:30 am, the line wraps all the way around the restaurant and almost every table is occupied. Also, i swear the burritos are getting smaller over time. Anyway, so yeah, it's a decent burrito. Their 'hot' salsa is even a little tingly when you get a big mouthful of it. Overpriced, overhyped, and overpopular, but when you need that burrito fix, it'll do. I must also state the fact that i've never, ever, ever gotten the gastrointestinal unhappiness i call 'meat surprise for the vegetarian' by eating here. Their vegetarian beans really are vegetarian, and they clearly label that the black beans are vegetarian while the others are cooked with bacon. It's pretty hard to miss. (Another reviewer claims that this particular location had bad food-handling techniques, and meat juices may well travel into a vegetarian meal. I didn't notice that on my visit, but if you're cautious of some things, you might want to keep it in mind.)

Yummies first of all. But man is this place so noisy. I never stay because the noise leave is terrible here. I honest don't like it that loud. The food is great here though.
(4)Ryan C.
Chipotle standard lunch time go-to. The food is fast and always dependable. This location is super small and is very crowded. People were standing to eat while they waited for a table. Just be aware that is can get crowded quickly.

Hey, I'm Mexican. You can trust me when I say this place is good. I was born to be snobbish and picky about any place that claims to make Mexican food. Don't insult my amazingly flavorful and complex culture by going to Chevy's. Go to Chipotle instead, and my ancestors and I won't laugh at you. This is the place to go if you don't want to feel like you're eating crap fast food, but yet, it is served quickly and efficiently. I always get the soft flour tacos with chicken, and they have yet to disappoint,flavor-wise, although sometimes they can be stingy with the meat portions. I may not be getting the newborn-sized burritos, but I still think I deserve more than three tiny chicken bites per taco. All I usually have to do is raise a conquistadora eyebrow and ask for a little bit more, and they have always been accommodating. Their green "medium" salsa is also pretty good. It packs just the right amount of spice without trying too hard. The place itself is always clean and I like the fact that the booths are huge and tucked away from the rest of the amazingly uncomfortable table and chairs in the main dining area. If you don't feel like dining in, there's a great online ordering option so you can swoop in, cut the line, and take your tasty tacos home.

Eff you Chipotle! You are too close, too easy to access and too yummy to avoid! It gets extremely busy here around lunch time, so much so that you may find yourself parking in the Taco Bell or KFC parking lot. However, the works get everyone through the line amazingly quick. I either get the tacos or burrito depending on how hungry I am with their spicy-ish chicken (it may not be spicy to other people, however, I am a spice wimp). The tacos fill you up for sure, but the burrito is HUGE. Everything is always fresh. My grudge? I can't resist the guacamole because I love the stuff and Chipotle makes it quite well. But charging me $1.80 to add it?! WHY. That puts Chipotle in the slightly more expensive lunch time places. Oh! The online ordering - whether on iPhone or on the web - is a timesaver if you're in a rush!
(4)Ana B.
I can always count on you Chipotle. you have never let me down..and something tells me you never will. no matter where I go - you're there...and you're awesome. This location is open until 10 which is awesome, and unexpected because it's such a sleepy area. Thanks!
(5)Nickola J.
As a vegetarian, I love the big, fresh vegetables. Never disappointed.
(3)Eric W.
This was my first time eating at Chipotle and it completely exceeded my expectations. I have ate at burrito buses and vans around Oregon and this ranks up there! The food was delicious and was made very quickly. The employees were extremely helpful and nice. I will definitely return here to get my burrito fix.
(5)JR H.
Chipotle is a great restaurant. The only reason I give this one 4 stars is because there's almost always a long line. It may be due to the location. And admittedly, the employees do a good job of getting through the line, but there's almost always a wait.
(4)Chris H.
First off Mcdonalds DOES NOT own Chipotle. They shared stocks in the late 90s, but have since split and have their own stocks. Don't believe those who make these false claims. now on to the review For being a "fast food" joint, this is one of the best. I wouldn't even call it fast food to be honest. more like Fast casual. Service is great and the staff is ready to help right when you walk in the door. You walk in and chose what you want, and then like Subway you choose what you want on it, and how much. Seating is moderate. They have a hallway filled with very large booths, space that could have been made for some more smaller tables. There is an outdoor patio, great for spring and summer time afternoon or evenings. Two sets of bike racks for those who ride their bikes around town Prices are a bit much, (5.75 for a 3 Chickin Tacos) but you get what you pay for and that is good quality. Everything including the guacamole is made fresh daily (according to their website) Guacomloe is a bit speedy, but then again they make it fresh daily from REAL avocados (according to their website) I love their chips. They can be a bit salty at times, but the added lime flavor gives it a nice kick. Tacos are amazing. I order the 4 hard Tacos with chicken, all 5 salsas sour cream cheese and then I order chips, Guacamole and the corn and green tomotolto salsas with a drink. Fill me up. It does get packed during busy hours, but tells you something. Chipotle is popular. So if you want some quick Mexican food that is not Taco Bell, stop at Chipotle. You will not regret it.
(5)Kayla H.
This is a chain restaurant so I didn't expect much. My sister made me go here and now I'm hooked. They'll do whatever you want to your food, so it always ends up being pretty stellar for fast food. Definitely not authentic but very delicious.
(4)Joey Y.
Fast, reasonably priced, healthy Mexican food. I go here whenever I feel too guilty to eat a juice, fat laden, guacamole-drenched burrito from King Burrito. Chipotle's hormone-free, cage-free, all-natural, nature-worshiping, tree-hugging, etc., meat does my conscious good. We all know its taste; so I don't need to go into detail. Its price has been consistently going up but it's worth it once in a while. Whenever my reasoning lays down its guard, I go to King Burrito; when it's not, I go to Chipotle.
(3)Kate P.
Sorry, only 3 stars. I did only go there once though.... Very friendly service, happy with it and would give it 5 stars. The food and ambiance are really more of a 3 star though, so that's what it gets. Note: got a good size buritto, though I thought it was a bit expensive. They charge $1.75 for a spoonful of guacamole....um?????....food wasn't too greasy either....
(3)Matt W.
Love this place. My wife's favorite lunch and dinner. Always fast and fresh. About as healthy and tasty as fast food can be.
(5)Mel E.
NOTE: Please excuse the potential dirtiness of this post. It wasn't intended to be. People please, I'm not R-rated, more like PG-13. (OK, let the Yelping continue) After my last visit to the Mickey D's of Mexican food, I have a conspiracy theory brewing. I sat down to enjoy my carnitas burrito with all the fixins when I saw a group of men sit down. I couldn't help but notice their jumbo burritos...(get your mind outta the gutter). Their burritos were bigger than mine! They didn't order extra meat, yet their foil-wrapped lunches were bigger. And sometimes, bigger is better. Maybe it depends on the person you end up getting in the food assembly line. I don't know what your name is burrito maker, but I'm watching out and avoiding you next time. Also, steer clear of the chips. They are WAYYYY too salty.

I won lunch for my office at Chipotle - so this was my first experience with them. I was quite impressed with how easy and efficient their online ordering capabiliites are as well as how fresh the food was and that it was on time! They didn't make it ahead and then let it sit - they were finishing it when I arrived. I would highly reccomend Chipotle for group or office lunches where you want to pick up but still allow people to have their own special order. You can order for your group, or you can email and invitation to each member with a deadline to allow them to input their own orders. each item came with the name of the person it was for on it - crazy easy for handing out lunch to 20 people in a group meeting. Will definitely do this again.

Let me start my review by stating, I am not a regular at this or any Chipotle restaurants. I do occasionally stop by to pick up grub for my lunch break. This restaurant (like every chipotle in Portland metro) gets PACKED. I came in on the morning of Sept 14th, and much to my surprise (not so much) - i run into a line. Turning to a positive note, the employees here work VERY hard! The line always moves along moderatly fast. On this morning, I noticed the line was at a stand still a tad bit longer than normal. Once my turn at the register came, I was informed that the POS was malfunctioning and they could only take cash transactions. Now at this point I was a bit worried. At the time, all I had was my Chipotle Gift Card. And being that asked for double chicken and guac on my burrito bowl, I didnt think a free meal would be offered. BUT IT WAS! I WAS VERY PLEASE. THESE GUYS ARE GREAT AND DESERVE APPRAISAL FROM THEIR SUPERIORS. I MEAN WOW! THIS PLACE IS ALWAYS GETTING SLAMMED WITH HUNGERY CUSTOMERS, AND THEY CAN STILL PULL OF GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
(5)Kim K.
Chipotle Grill has a great thing going. Simple fresh ingredients...and a menu short enough that it's not confusing. You know exactly what you're getting because you watch them build it . No secrets...just really good food. Chicken burrito bowl is my fave. Went there again today and had the best customer service ever! This is my go to semi-fast food place. I can count on them every time. Thanks Chiptole. The nice girl at the register made my day.
(5)Nathan B.
As far as corporate food chains go this is about the best thing going!
(4)Ryan A.
So first things first . . . I love Chipotle. Chipotle, in my opinion, makes the best real food for the price. Now this doesn't mean I don't crave the place next door and at times think their food tastes better, it means I realize that I'm not getting food at that other place. So why give one of my favorite chains a one star rating? I'm not. I'm giving this location a one star rating. I'm seriously considering driving into Portland or Hillsboro the next time I need my soft tacos and lime-y chips. This Chipotle has THE WORST service and overall "customer experience" of any Chipotle I have ever been to. I haven't had perfect service at all other locations every time (I had a particularly bad experience at the downtown location, but they listened and seemed to fix the problem). I have had a bad experience at this location every single time I've been here. First, the biggest problem. If I have to lean into the counter AND yell for you to hear what I'm ordering, the music is too loud. Today I heard it in the employees' voices, too. There is a line between talking loudly and flat out yelling. At least one of the employees was yelling back at customers today. There are only two reasons I can think of that they would have the music this loud. 1.) They think it's a fun "club atmosphere" for their customers, or 2.) they like the music loud. If it's the former, they're wrong (for most people, I'm sure). If someone wants a club atmosphere, they'll go to a club. If it's the latter, your customers are more important than having employees feel like they're not working. Sure, it's important for employees to have fun, but customers should still come first. So the music issue leads to the next two big problems. They have overall poor customer service and they're slow. The poor customer service just shows their overall attitude about everything (music and all). Last time I was here, the employees were talking with each other and ignoring me. Today, an employee pushed his way in front of us to restock the lemon wedges at the fountain. They don't care about the customers when it comes to atmosphere, so why would they care about them in any other way? And, they're slow because it takes longer to place orders with music blaring. If you have to repeat yourself over and over and the music is distracting you, it's going to slow down the line. Being across the street from the mall and still serving decent food, the place is always busy, too. Really, it's a shame that they're still being rewarded for this behavior. The only reason I continue to eat here is that it's close. If I didn't live here and had one closer to home, I wouldn't eat at this one just because I was in the area. I suggest you don't either.

oh if I could write an ode to the guacamole I would. I would write sonnets, ballads......whatever it wanted I would do. This is not authentic Mexican food by any means but it is soooooooo very good. You go in and decide if you want a burrito, tacos or a bowl, you choose your meat, your veggies, your rice, your beans, your salsa, your toppings such as cheese, sour cream, more guac. I personally love the combo of chicken, pinto beans, white rice, veggies, cheese, sour cream and lettuce. I have them put the guac and the med salsa on the side.
(4)Remy S.
The ladies here are very helpfull and very fast friendly and polite it was my first time here and it was short of amazing the food the service and the atmosphere was off the chart will return again very soon. Food is amazing as well
(5)Jim H.
Pretty good overall. I felt rushed while being here's through the assembly line to make my choices on items. I got the three barbacoa tacos, very tasty! I did not like the extra cost for guacamole however. All in all I'm sure I will be back as I was satisfied.

First of all I just want to say that I love chipotle. I have been to several locations in Utah, California, Illinois, Oregon and Washington. But this note is about the location I live nearest to. Cedar Hills Boulevard in the Portland Metro area. I go here often and am pretty fed up with the service. This is the only location that has done any of the multiple offenses I have witnessed here. With a laughable staff of slackers that dance and sing loudly to the music playing in the restaurant more than they pay attention to the customers requests, they have consistently ruined my meal by neglecting to follow standard health and safety regulations. I order a veggie burrito and watch the woman scooping meat - using her hand to keep the meat in the scoop - then rub her meaty, juicy hands on my tortilla. This is something that infuriates me. I don't understand how so many staff members could disregard the basic food handling knowledge that I am sure each one has had the opportunity of learning. There are so many things wrong with this and I continue to give this location chance after chance to win me back... and I shouldn't have to worry about cross contamination or meat juices all over my burrito. I am vegan and have been meat free for over 15 years. I shouldn't have to ask employees to remake my food OR change their gloves, they should know better. But... I have to say.. I have been in contact with Chipotle as a corporation and the district manager about these issues. Chipotle offered me a coupon and apologies but the DM defended his store tooth and nail. I could not believe it when he said it was his favorite store out of his district. He did offer to buy me a burrito but I didn't take him up on it.. I have since gone back to this location to see that it has improved... or maybe it was just a good day. But I stick to my 1 star and disappointment in this store. I've never seen such actions at any other Chipotle.
(1)Rafid A.
I like this one because it is close home. The taste of the food of course is the same LOL. However, I always get more portion in this one. I think the workers here are more generous :P I will always go there :)
(4)Npr M.
Very good and healthy options. It gets crowded there and hard to find tables at times. I like the option of having both rice and brown rice for the burrito but it feels one gets less quantity when order the brown rice.
(4)Kayne C.
My last experience at this location is truly my last... The place was filthy. Yes, they had a line, yes they were busy, but not in the dining room and I can guess why. Rice on the floors, sticky pop on the counters and other tidbits of taco debris all over the tables and floor. If it's THAT dirty in the areas that I, the customer can see... what is it like in the kitchen! Too dirty for my comfort. Food tastes good, but come on, they add $1.95 for 2 tablespoons of guacamole on the already overpriced $6.70 tofu burrito?! Lastly, the chips are one of my favorite but this visit, they were somewhat stale and soft. Bleh.
(2)Ailene J.
I love Mexican food, but this place is just not cool. Ordered a burrito, which is made Subway style in a line. I chose steak, which they told me was hot. Now that I tried it, I'm still unsure if they meant temp or spicy and either way it was cold. There's too much cilantro in every component, the fajita veggies are cut way too big and are blackened and cold. Really, I probably won't ever return.
(2)Michael G.
I can't get enough of this fake Mexican fast food. They go to great pains to serve only healthy raised meats. They are trying really hard and I love it. The chicken is spiced just right, allowing you to taste it long after it is gone. High quality tooth picks provided for the chipotle rice.
(4)Stacey B.
The staff here actually cares whether or not their customers are happy. The food is delicious, the restaurant is clean, and the manager was highly professional. Excellent experience!
(5)Frankie C.
Nice staff and good quality fast food. Wait no, take the fast part out. Line typically starts at the door during lunch or after work, the Chipotles I have gone to in the DC / Virginia areas move their customers through at least three times faster, but u wouldn't want to talk to any of those guys. I try to order online to skip the line, but 2/3 times they won't be ready anyways...
(3)Claudio M.
This particular Chipotle has really bad service and low quality prep on their food. I've been to dozens of Chipotles and on the whole they're fast and have fresh ingredients in their food line. This one comes to a halt during lunch hour. But it's not only during that time. I've been there with only 2 people in front of me and they have 5 people working the line and it took nearly 10 minutes to get out of there. On top of that the food in the bins always looks like it's seen better days, the chips are stale and the employees always look like they're barely staying above water. And they're always waiting for something to be refilled which slows down the line even more. I've held off on reviewing this location wanting to give them multiple shots at getting it right but after 10-15 visits...it's always the same. The sad thing is this location doesn't have much incentive to improve since there isn't another Chipotle anywhere close to here. I guess it's just poorly managed? Because like I said, I've never seen this type of thing at other Chipotle locations.
(2)Marly G.
The past few times I've been to this location there has been a problem (NOT fully cooked rice and frozen corn salsa). Yesterday I decided to give it another try. I went in wait wasn't longer than 15 minutes. I think if I'm going to pay nearly $10 for a burrito I should get my money's worth.. I ordered a double wrapped burrito(free), a lot of white rice(free), half pinto beans and half black beans(free), double steak($2.something), fajitas(free), sour cream(free), corn salsa(free) and cheese(free) and a side of corn salsa(free). Paid $10.25. Once I got home burrito was still warm and very good, I guess I will be returning but not as often.
(3)Ausa W.
I've been to many Chipotle restaurants in Portland. I didn't think it was possible to mess it up, but this location has proved me wrong a few times. The proportions are always off and quality of food is bad. A couple of times they forgot the salad dressing with the salad. Then they are super rude when you ask for it. They're always slow and rude. Hope they can change this. I was super excited to live within walking distance of a Chipotle but this one is just not very good.
(2)Lynette K.
I would love to give Chipotle five stars because I love their food and you get a big meal very reasonably but the lines are ALWAYS long and there doesn't seem to be a sense of urgency to help customers quickly. They process a lot of online orders and those seem to take precedence over the customers actually in the restaurant. There were five workers tonight doing the customer service and it still was painfully slow. I was thankful I had my smartphone because I waited over half an hour in line. Ridiculous. But apparently I have mild masochistic inclinations because I will be back. It's that good.
(3)Bailee M.
I have continued to have horrible experiences at this establishment. It's one of the saddest Chipotles I have seen. Today on a Sunday afternoon at 2 o clock mind you, my boyfriend asked for a margarita. The girl at the counter replies looking as dead in the eye that they are out of margarita ingredients and can't make him one. We said okay and right behind her is everything you would need to make a margarita including fresh cut limes? I count 7 people at least working right now- there's a line out the door with two people making burritos (one who constantly leaving every other burrito). This place has poor management and could improve in s many ways. Thanks for the stale chips again!!
(1)Natasha S.
Don't get me wrong the food is amazing. But the service at this specific locations is awful. The attitude of the employees is so negative. Every Time I go I feel like a bother. They always rush and act so impatient. Last time I went I used a coupon from a race I participated in. The girl at the register had no problem with honoring it. Then a coworker came up, not realizing I was the one that used the coupon she said "did someone seriously just use that, it expired a month ago". If only she knew the customer who had just used it was standing right in front of her.
(3)Harvey H.
I was in this Chipotle this afternoon and my partner and I were straight up fat shamed by the skinny girl working behind the counter. I asked for a fajita burrito bowl with chicken and what I got was half of one scoop of rice that covered less than half the bottom the bowl. about 2 mouth fulls of the wrong kind of beans and no fajita peppers at all. She then did the same thing to my partner in line right behind me. We had to ask the next person in line to actually give us the food that we asked for and when the first girl heard us ask she got super uppity and rolled her eyes at us and scoffed while she looked our bodies up and down and shook her head. The food was alright, I suppose. If you like a side of shame and discomfort with your burrito. Maybe if you're going to work in the food service industry you should try losing your hate for large bodies.

Slow hiring process. Up to 5 weeks! I am not going to work for a company that has procrastinators running it!
(2)Gehan K.
Recently went there with my fiance to eat....usually everything is fine. This time around the burrito bowl....had a strange taste to it. It could be the mild salsa we got with it....it sure threw everything off. Please check for things like this.

PLACE IS DISGUSTING! & DIRTY!! Went there a month ago & the food was gross and the restaurant was filthy. I told myself I would never go again. However after a friend was craving chipotle we went to this location even after I warned against it. This time was even worse. Place was still dirty & before eating I went to the restroom to wash my hands & saw an EMPLOYEE BRUSHING HIS TEETH at the sink!!!! Disgusting. Food bacteria & particulate is amongst the most filthy!! I told a cashier and she said they would report it to their supervisor. IM NEVER GOING TO THIS ONE AGAIN.
(1)Bethany H.
Opened my Burrito Bowl that was ordered using the app and it was 2/3 full. I am so disappointed. Normally I have enough for two meals and this time that isn't going to happen. Great food. Not happy with service
(2)Sheldon J.
Great for food. But thats it. The conveniences to support dads dont exist. This needs to change immediately.
(1)Sean A.
GREAT GOOGLIE MOOGLIE! This place was PACKED!!! It does speak to the quality of food i will say. At lunch this place tends to be a zoo. Be prepared for that. Personally i dont like crowds, so we took our lunch to GO. But of all the quick serve (yes i prefer this term as its more fitting) tex/mex style places, this place still ranks at the top. There are many others to try, but honestly, Chipotle knows how to get it done. Even when they are swarming with people every location tends to manage it with efficency and grace. This location is no exception. I like the selections here for meats. I stick with the chicken and the carnitas, the steak is sometimes tough and over done. Hard to manage in this type of setting i know. The choices of salsas arent bad, i lean more toward the medium and sometimes hot if im feelin it. The guacamole is a great add on even if it is spendy. My friends and i sometimes get a bag of ships and some salsa and or guac to nibble on while we eat. The chips are usually fresh and crisp. I like tortilla chips more than potato, so im a sucker. Be warned, burritos are MASSIVE! Seriously folks, these baby's have radius. Bring your hunger if you want a burrito. The bowls however seem less overwhelming, similar to the salad offerings. All in all you cant go wrong with a stop in here, but if its for lunch you may try ordering ahead.
(4)Callum S.
Best chipotle of any i've been too. We usually order online because of how busy it is and our order is perfect everytime! Always great customer service and the quality of food is amazing.
(5)Gecel F.
I'm glad I'm not the only one complaining about the customer service. This was the first time my husband and I visited a Chipotle in Oregon, but all my past experiences thus far was pleasant. However there was a particular worker at this location that was just horrible and rude. (Female, light-skinned, dark hair, pretty eyes, possibly Mexican) When she was helping me with the veggies and salsa, she would just look at me like she was annoyed with me. When she forgot to add the lettuce and I had to remind her, her death stare lingered even longer. Then she asked a question that I could barely hear so I replied," I'm sorry, what was that?" Which in turn she just gave me an eye-rolling look and whispered something to the guy next to her, basically ignoring me and prompting that guy to finish my order with me. I was just confused as to why she was giving me attitude, because I am very nice and polite to everyone that I encounter. Needless to say, I didn't even want to sit there since I was angry with the way she treated me. In regards to the actual food, it tasted normal, but she was pretty skimpy with some of the items I requested in comparison to other Chipotles I've been to. On the other hand, she over-filled my husband's burrito, even though he requested light servings, and wrapped it sloppily so that when he opened it at home the stuffing was leaking. He also mentioned that he didn't ask her for chips and guacamole because she just seemed bothered. Chipotle - I advise that you speak to your workers about their customer service, otherwise you'll lose more business. Side noted: -Lot parking -Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors -Busy as soon as they open (11am)
(1)Kimmi W.
Love this chipotle, they are polite and helpful. The lunch crew is very fast and can through a long line quickly!
(5)Erica B.
If I could leave zero stars I would. Chipotle can usually handle a long line I've always gotten through them quickly. At this location however 4 people working to help one customer took 10 min. Once it was my turn I watched the gentlemen who would be making my burrito use a random pen and meat thermometer to jot down some stuff in a book. He put the pen down and proceeded to touch my food. He sparingly added rice and chicken to my burrito to which I made a sour face about but kept my head down. He then yelled is there a problem with your burrito? I was shocked. I said it just appears to not have much meat or rice. He went on about it costing extra as he dumped 2 more pieces of chicken on it. I left unhappy and my burrito was super cold not good at all. I've never had a bad experience at a chipotle until visiting this location. Skip it if you can and just hit Taco Bell next door.

What can you say - limited menu, but everything is really good. You won't be disappointed with the burrito! Recommend either carnitas or barbacoa, both extremely tasty. Only negative is that it can get a little noisy inside the resturant.

Could it be that I have never written a review of Chipotle. Maybe I just think Chipotle speaks for itself. Anyone that knows Chipotle, any Chipotle, knows the price for the amount and quality of food can't be beat. I frequent this Chipotle about twice a month. For less than $7, I get enough food for two good sized meals. I always get a salad with a tortilla on the side (which they don't charge for), so I make a little burrito the first go round then usually scoop it up with chips for my second meal. Eating good quality food on a budget can be challenging, but not here. The quality of all their meats, rice, salsas, cheese, and sour cream are superb. They cook everything fresh and you can actually watch them prepare everything behind the line. This is the type of place where you customize your entrée going down the line. You want extra of something, no problem. You want all 4 salsa, don't worry about it. You don't want to do dairy, skip the sour cream and cheese and you're set. No complaints!

The food is good, but this chipotle is more expensive than the one by my house. And it's poorly designed inside and out. It's difficult to get into the parking lot, and not enough parking. The inside seating wasn't crowded, but there were several dozen people in line and the line wraps around the seating, and also blocks the path to the exit.
(3)Christine E.
Yum. Just yum. Chipotle has generally just got it figured out and this location is great. Clean, usually busy with a fast line, and super friendly employees. Just wish the boyfriend would agree to eat the same thing over and over again and I would be a happy girl!
(5)Robert W.
I'm a sucker for the giant burrito-zillas that I get Chipotle to create for me. :D Always ask for your burrito to be double-wrapped with extra rice, beans, cheese, etc. It's all free with your burrito, as much as you'd like! /short and to the point
(5)Mikhail H.
I love you Chipotle...your guac is crack... This location I always get the nicest people at and I have fallen in love with their burrito bowls - holy cow they pack it crazy big! My husband and I always comment too that they almost always have a line all the way around and to the door but it moves super fast too so you are in and out in no time.
(5)Erika L.
This place sadly never seems to have the orders on time if you call in. This makes for a bad customer experience. If give this place a star its because it won't let me hit continue. Regardless if you order a big group meal or just a few they always seem to be late. They need to work on this.
(1)Heather N.
Even when the line is long, the staff moves quickly and is very friendly! They embody customer service! I've had one inaccurate order by mistake which they corrected with no questions. Excellent healthy food and fabulous service at this location

Chipotle is definitely the best of the burrito chain restaurants that there are. They have really good carnitas and barbacoa fajita burritos. This location needs to turn the AC down of I would give 5 stars.
(4)Courtney B.
all chiptole locations are pretty much the same. this one just sucks because whenever i go here the line is out the door. it takes about 20 minutes to get your food here- so much for fast food.

As a recent economic refugee from the Bay Area, I know what a good burrito tastes like. There's a dearth of good burritos in Portland which is really sad, given how many of us there are from the Bay Area. Chipotle serves this market. It's one of the few places to get a really good burrito in Portland. I'm a regular customer but I have to say this place needs to work on its efficiency. There's frequently a line out the door and there is ALWAYS some issue at the register that holds everything up. Often times I hear one of the poor burrito makers yell desperately "CASHIER" while furiously trying to keep up with the demands of the line because there is no one ringing up orders. It would seem that not all employees are trained at the cash register which is a shame. Why would you hire someone if you don't trust them to run a cash register? It's incredibly demoralizing for an employee to be unable to fix a situation like this because he or she has not been entrusted with cash register operation. If a cashier is present there is nevertheless still some issue going on that holds up order processing. I'm not a fan of Starbucks and don't go there if I can help it but they have order efficiency nailed down. Chipotle should study them in this regard.

Great food! Consistent enough to get one star from me! However, just like the majority of others, the service sucks! I get it, it's packed, but what is the hold up if it's a hot line?? I just point and you make, easy! But last night was the kicker, I go in and there's 3 people ahead of me, took me 25 minutes from when I walked in to when I walked out. I don't think there's one person in there over the age of 23, and no one knows what they're doing. What is the hold up? The food is being made so it's not like the kitchen isn't producing fast enough...its the people. Speed it up guys! I know youre the only location in the area but one of these days people are gonna wise up and make that farther drive or figure out overpriced Tex-Mex isn't worth the 30 mins. By the way, my former Chipotle location before I moved to the burbs was Downtown PSU, now if they can get me in there and out fast enough to go and fail my finals I'm sure Cedar Hills can figure it out.

Food is okay, but I wish it was cheaper. It is just simple Mexican food...

Good food, but another service FAIL. 3 times I requested my food "to go" on Monday 2/9, yet the cashier handed me my meal in a basket. When I said, "sorry I gotta get it to go," she then came back and handed me a bag. When I got back to my office I was really disappointed to discover the sack did not contain the tortilla chips I ordered. What to do with the guacamole? I called and she said sorry, and I appreciate that but there was no time to drive back. To make sure I wasn't nuts, I checked my receipt which confirmed that I was charged for and paid for chips but did not receive. Basic bummer. Not going back for a long time.

Don't get me wrong, the food is amazing! But the service is awful. I didn't realize I had only one of my sons boots (really expensive) i called them to ask if they had found the boot... And they they did... But... Tossed it away!! Seriously! You couldn't hold on to it for a day!?
(2)Faye F.
This review is strictly for the service I experienced today. I love Chipotle, I really do. It's not authentic Mexican food but it's close enough when you're craving it. I came in during lunch rush and was getting serviced pretty quickly, until I got to the salsa and more station. I specifically told her "medium" and "hot" sauces for my burrito and she preceded to dump a MASSIVE amount of mild. I told her I didn't want that and she pushed the burrito up, saying something I couldn't quite hear over all the talking. I decided to just continue with my now-ruined burrito and she rolled it up with all the salsa and oozy liquid coming out of the burrito (VERY MESSY)! I was really dreading to eat it. Instead of the burrito that I wanted, it ended up being like a burrito bowl. Pretty disappointed with today's visit.
(2)Andrew D.
Just like any other chipotle, the food is good and consistent. What more is there to say? My chipotle fix is always satisfied here.
(4)Frankie C.
(3)Michael G.

Pretty good overall. I felt rushed while being here's through the assembly line to make my choices on items. I got the three barbacoa tacos, very tasty! I did not like the extra cost for guacamole however. All in all I'm sure I will be back as I was satisfied.

(5)Ed H.
(5)Claudio M.

(3)Kayne C.
(2)Ausa W.
(2)Harvey H.

(5)Bethany H.
(1)Erica B.

(5)Lynette K.
(3)Robert W.

(4)Kim K.

(4)Jesy B.
(4)Kate T.
(3)Kathleen S.
Yummies first of all. But man is this place so noisy. I never stay because the noise leave is terrible here. I honest don't like it that loud. The food is great here though.
(4)Rafid A.
(4)Ryan C.
Chipotle standard lunch time go-to. The food is fast and always dependable. This location is super small and is very crowded. People were standing to eat while they waited for a table. Just be aware that is can get crowded quickly.

(2)Donna M.

Pretty good overall. I felt rushed while being here's through the assembly line to make my choices on items. I got the three barbacoa tacos, very tasty! I did not like the extra cost for guacamole however. All in all I'm sure I will be back as I was satisfied.

(4)Michael G.
(5)Kayne C.
Bleh.
(2)Frankie C.
(3)Ailene J.
(2)Ausa W.
(2)Harvey H.

Best chipotle of any i've been too. We usually order online because of how busy it is and our order is perfect everytime! Always great customer service and the quality of food is amazing.

Even when the line is long, the staff moves quickly and is very friendly! They embody customer service! I've had one inaccurate order by mistake which they corrected with no questions. Excellent healthy food and fabulous service at this location
(5)Gonzalo V.
Good food, always so packed though which is a good thing because it means it's good but could also mean food is served too fast and could not be served correctly. .but who's perfect right? Love the place

Its a bit of a busy spot, but Chipotle is consistently great food. Very tasty. Friendly staff. Wish it'd be a bigger building to handle some of the crowds, but a in all, great place for lunch or dinner.

Love this chipotle, they are polite and helpful. The lunch crew is very fast and can through a long line quickly!

Opened my Burrito Bowl that was ordered using the app and it was 2/3 full. I am so disappointed. Normally I have enough for two meals and this time that isn't going to happen. Great food. Not happy with service

Great for food. But thats it. The conveniences to support dads dont exist. This needs to change immediately.

(1)Joel D.

(5)Laura H.
Don't get me wrong, the food is amazing! But the service is awful. I didn't realize I had only one of my sons boots (really expensive) i called them to ask if they had found the boot... And they they did... But... Tossed it away!! Seriously! You couldn't hold on to it for a day!?

Just like any other chipotle, the food is good and consistent. What more is there to say? My chipotle fix is always satisfied here.
(4)Jen E.
oh if I could write an ode to the guacamole I would.

The ladies here are very helpfull and very fast friendly and polite it was my first time here and it was short of amazing the food the service and the atmosphere was off the chart will return again very soon. Food is amazing as well
(5)Jaben C.
Chipotle is definitely the best of the burrito chain restaurants that there are. They have really good carnitas and barbacoa fajita burritos. This location needs to turn the AC down of I would give 5 stars.

This is a chain restaurant so I didn't expect much. My sister made me go here and now I'm hooked. They'll do whatever you want to your food, so it always ends up being pretty stellar for fast food. Definitely not authentic but very delicious.

Love this place. My wife's favorite lunch and dinner. Always fast and fresh. About as healthy and tasty as fast food can be.
