Love this out in the country place! Great vegetarian and gluten free options. Wait staff is friendly, restaurant is clean and neat. Save room for dessert! You won't be disappointed.

Stopped today while on a motorcycle ride. Nice ride coming from Mollala. The waitress was very nice and friendly. Pizza was excellent. The waitress brought out some fried pickles for us to try and some apple coleslaw both were very good. The atmosphere is rustic and very clean. I'll be back with friends.

Stopped here while riding my bike through the area. What a neat place! A very clean general store with all kinds of good stuff including pizza by the slice and hot coffee. A big wood porch looks perfect for hanging out once our weather warms up. They have a restaurant/bar that I didnt get to try yet.

I stopped in just before noon today with my daughter for an early lunch. Our server was very friendly and promptly started a fresh pot of iced tea for me -- and it was good stuff, too. I had a difficult time deciding what to order, since so many menu items sounded really good; but I ultimately decided to go with one of my old stand-by's, the Patty Melt. I opted for a side salad instead of fries, since I'm supposed to be on a diet. One of the perks to being the first ones in the eatery was that our food arrived very quickly. At first I was taken aback because the patty melt didn't look quite right for some reason -- and it wasn't until after I'd taken a few bites that I realized it was the lack of grease that was throwing me off. The marble rye bread was lightly toasted, and the Tillamook Swiss cheese melted to perfection. The grilled red onions and thousand island dressing provided just the right flavors to compliment the other sandwich components. It all tasted very fresh and delicious, with the aforementioned lack of grease being a big plus -- no need to wipe your hands after every bite with this one. The side salad deserves mention, too; as it also possessed a notable freshness. It was an interesting mix of greens, tomatoes, carrots, and mushrooms;; and was an excellent accompaniment to the patty melt. We will be back for sure, but will bring the whole family next time!

Out for a Sunday drive with my sweetie. Had the top popped on the jeep as it was a beautiful weekend. We are new to the area, so have spent some time exploring it. We passed by the store just as our tummies started to growl, did a quick U turn and headed in to the store. Walked back to the restaurant section and the very friendly waitress gave us the lowdown on what beers are on tap. The sweetie likes Coors and I opted for an Atlas Blackberry Hard Cider. We then chose an appetizer - fried mushrooms. You are given an ample amount of mushrooms to be able to split for 2 people. The waitress was able to talk us into a small pizza after that. We split a logger and garlic chicken. The crusts are not homemade, but they are also not over done and greasy. The pizza was tasty and the service was good. The pricing is what was amazing. The price for several beers, and appetizer and a small pizza (we took some home with us) was very inexpensive. It was nice to stop in and watch some basketball and enjoy some libations. We might make this a destination next time we are out exploring the countryside. The price, the food and the friendly staff made it all worthwhile.

Love this place! It's under new ownership (Scott and Tammy) and they've really done an amazing job with this sweet, historic country store and restaurant. When you walk in, the 1st thing you notice is how clean and fresh everything is which is lacking in most stores. Then once you really look around and go into the restaurant section, the renovation they've done is beautiful, everything from refinishing the beautiful original floors to fresh paint and booths. But the best part...the food is fantastic at a very reasonable price plus they have beer on tap and some great wine choices. So if you're in the area, stop in or even if you're not in the area, its truly a destination drive and worth it! We belong to a cycling group as well as a car club and this is a favorite destination for us! Oh and no, I'm not affiliated in any way with these new owner's just think this place is worth checking out!
