Just average food...I agree with some of the other reviews; there's not much around and I guess the food and prices are just ok for the area. I had the Halibut and it had bones and really wasn't all that fresh. The steamed clams lacked seasoning and 3 or 4 didn't open. They just weren't fresh. The Caesar was very good and the chicken gumbo was more of a chicken minestrone or tortilla type soup then a gumbo. Again, just ok. Service was good and the outdoor dining area was really pleasant.

They didn't have a grilled chicken entree, but they were more than willing to accommodate. The chicken breast was juicy & very tasty. Had the vegetables & a salad. My husband had the Santa Fe Melt & thought it was great. The blackberry cobbler was awesome! Service was great. Our waitress was very pleasant & aimed to please.

Dirty table, dirty water glass. My pork steak was burnt. Rice had a big clump. Will not eat here again

The food is reasonably priced and good enough, since nothing else was open by the time we got into baker city.

Because we were staying at the hotel we decided to try this restaurant. Big mistake! The service was the worst I have ever received. There were only a few tables occupied when we arrived so there was no excuse for the poor service. We were sat, given our menus and water by one server who came back to take our order but we told her we needed a moment longer. Another big mistake because then it was a very long time before another waitress came to take our order. She was very pleasant and suggested the "very good" vegetable beef soup that tasted like Campbell's canned soup. After bringing our soup and salads we never saw her at our table again. We needed extra salad dressing and I eventually had to go to the cook's window to ask for it. There I saw our food sitting in the window. A while later we saw a third server carrying two plates and I asked her if it was our food. Sure enough it was and as we suspected it was cold. My companions patty melt was disgusting, very old looking and I think McDonald's would have done better. I have to add that my steak (8oz flat iron) had also cooled but was very tasty. We had to once again approach the cook's window for ketchup and one of the servers handed my companion a ketchup bottle. We couldn't get the lid off and finally saw that it was an unopened bottle. Once we removed the cellophane we opened the bottle and drown the patty melt with ketchup in order to choke it down. It is my suggestion that the convenience is not worth it, dine someplace else when in Baker City. We ate at the Corner Brick place on Main Street and the service was excellent, the prices better and food fantastic.

Great place for cocktails and standard fare appetizers (onion rings, potato skins) although they tend to over-fry stuff if you don't tell them to keep it light. Not too loud, so you can have a conversation. The only thing awkward was the waitress giving us "last call" because it was the end of her shift. I feel like we were rushed out.

The place is attached to the best western witch is very convenient I had breakfast and dinner there a few times while staying at best western. Good was pretty good and they also have local beer on tap

As we have traveled this summer, we have been lucky to have pretty good food at the Best Westerns across the west. Sunridge was no different. I had the flat iron steak, and it was delicious. Perfectly cooked and tasty red potatoes. The vegetables were obviously frozen (the classic vegi mix of corn, green beans, edamame (I think)...not awesome, but not bad. My husband had the Reuben, and while it was light on the thousand island dressing, it was easily remedied. Our toddler had the Mac and cheese (it was Kraft) and ate most of it. Our waitress was attentive and efficient, and very respectful. We will be back, I'm sure!

The Sunridge Inn Restaurant, a hop, skip and jump from the Sun Ridge Best Western Inn, offers homey good food for very good prices. The inside is very old school, which I like -- kind of old world 1970's in decor and prices. They have a wide range of options for lunch and dinner, and from the reviews, a great breakfast. Since we got in late and just wanted something simple for dinner, we ordered a tuna melt and a grilled cheese. Both were on fluffy bread, and served with a side -- we had the salad. The lettuce was iceberg (not my fave), but the croutons (which normally I don't eat in salads) were very flavorful, and the lettuce was crisp and fresh. The service was fast, and, the prices, already very moderate, were made inexpensive due to our $2 each discounts given to us from the Best Western Inn. It's rare to find a restaurant attached to a motel/inn that has delicious food, but Sunridge Inn Restaurant is just that, and for a good price. For just $10, we had the two big sandwiches, full salads, and one coke. Awesome!

Prices are cheap- food is eh. We stayed here for three days experienced breakfast and lunch- pancakes were flat and tasted like they were made with dishwater. Link sausages nuked to lukewarm. I think the only thing made was the fried eggs-can't nuke those very well. Bacon burger was heavy on the iceberg lettuce but the patty had a crunch- for $7.95. Potato salad tasted like the fridge. French fries could have been cooked longer. That being said the bar does a great pour! Kids menu very limited. But at these prices I would feed'em off the menu. Good thing we had coupons from the motel.
