Time travel to 1923 at this friendly bed & breakfast. Set along a historic road which was the only route into the Klamath Basin for many years. Service is extremely friendly; the owner will ask your names to start, and call you by name, before sitting at the piano and belting out a lively tune All our food was great.. fresh and imaginative. Wild salmon cooked rare to request. Chicken picatta a dish to savor! We just came for dinner but will be back to stay.

Perfect place to get away. The atmosphere was fabulous, it's like stepping back in time, tons if history and character. The owners/staff are wonderful and so inviting and friendly. The accommodations were perfect and the food was some if the best I have ever had!! I highly recommend this bed and breakfast!

We had a wonderfully cozy time at the Pinehurst Inn. Everything a B&B should be. Excellent breakfasts - homemade granola, omlettes with brie, rich yogurt, yummy pastry, fresh fruit. Ira and Susanna made it feel like home. Unfortunately I just read on their website that the family is moving to Portland and another company will be taking over the B&B. =( I am glad we went when we did! The drive up is winding...very scary in the fog and snow! Watch out for deer.

Burgers with homemade buns, fresh salads, and nachos with good homemade salsa. Not what you expect to find in the woods. Dont miss this cute and quiet place.

i love bed and breakfasts, and i love food! so, when i read this article archive.mailtribune.com/… , there was no choice in my mind - i was going to ashland! the pinehurst inn is only about 15 miles out of the main area of ashland, but the road is windy, and slow. the good news is that the view is lovely. the bed and breakfast is quaint, and cozy, as any good bed and breakfast should be. it smells of freshly baked goods, and the fire in the living room makes it perfect. one of the owners, susanna krizo, greeted us as we arrived. truly, she, her husband, and adorable son are delightful people. for the two mornings we were there, i felt like royalty. everything made was so amazing. want a croissant? it's just out of the oven. granola? also homemade. brie and mushroom omelet? let's whip one up right now. the surroundings are serene and so peaceful. the night sky alone was worth it! and did i mention the price? well, all five of us squished into their suite, and i think it came out to about $50 each, including breakfast. now that is a deal! for more information, visit their website at: pinehurstinn.us , and enjoy your stay!

We didn't stay at the Inn but we did stop for dinner here on Memorial Day weekend. We were driving back from Crater Lake through Klamath Falls and getting very hungry. There's not lot on 66 through this area we were discovering. Then from out of nowhere this beautiful Inn with a funny sign out front appeared on the side of the road. We popped in ready to eat no matter what they were serving and were thrilled to find a fantastic restaurant with one of the nicest inn keepers we had ever encountered. The menu did not have appetizers. But we heard a table next to us order the ravioli as an appetizer for the table. Wish we had thought of that. My travel partner had the steak...cooked perfect. I had the pork chops. Which turned out to be nearly the best I've ever had. A very limited (disappointingly no local wines that I recall) wine list and we skipped desert because it was a bit limited as well. But the entrees were fantastic! The breading on the pork chops was light and delicate and seasoned perfectly. If you've ever had a baked potato that sat around all day you know how dry and tasteless they can be, these were fluffy and clean and tasty. The grilled veggies were not your usual "in season veggies" - you know mushy squash - they were perfectly seasoned asparagus and peppers. We got a serenade at the piano from the innkeeper on the way out the door and talked about our "secret find" all the way back to Ashland. I

thepinehurstinn.com The Oregon 66 Scenic Byway really should not be missed. We were traveling from Klamath Falls and the Pinehurst Inn and Restaurant unexpectedly appeared almost out of thin air! We naturally assumed Oregon 66 would be a nice drive to see the amazing fall colors (which were awesome). What we didn't know was we were about to stubble upon this fabulous historic inn in the middle of nowhere. So of course we had to stop and check it out. Do yourself a favor and look at their website. You'll notice the innkeeper has a wonderful sense of humor, also notice the pricing on the rooms and the dinner menu. Unbelievable deals and bargains!!! 1990's pricing. They were fully booked so we weren't able to see the rooms but they invited us in and let us hang out on the couch next to the fireplace and even offered us coffee. On our way out the owner casually mentions for us to stop in at "a ranch". And boy were we in for a treat, which leads me to my next review...and this isn't your ordinary ranch my friend, this was a mini adventure....
