Excellent, friendly B&B. Owners are super-nice. Nice rooms, prettily decorated in sort of a Victorian mode, lots of personal touches. Breakfasts are excellent; we never need lunch after one of their breakfasts.

Thank you John and Sue for making the first night of our 2 week trip perfect! What a lovely home you have. The room was perfect, the bed and pillows so comfy, and the food was scrumptious! You are such welcoming hosts, with great attention to detail.

When you visit Ashland, OR you owe it to yourself to stay with Sue! Her B&B is beautiful and comfortable, but the star is Sue's graciousness, warmth, and hospitality. Breakfast is heavenly and the afternoon cookies will spoil you. And Sue is a truly kind, genuine dear soul. It feels like staying with family. Her staff (Ellen!) are spectacular.

The personal attention from the gracious hosts, comfortable rooms, Wi-Fi, fantastic breakfasts and afternoon cookies, central, yet quiet location, and huge front porch and garden make this a fabulous choice for a B&B in Ashland. John and Sue, as well as, Elen and Mike (who took over for them for a couple of days), were warm, welcoming, informative, and the perfect hosts for our visit to Ashland. This location is perfect -- three blocks to the theaters, two blocks to Main Street, and two blocks from the Ashland Food Co-op where, as well as groceries and drinks, they have a hot food deli, salad bar, and juice and coffee bar -- perfect for an easy, inexpensive meal with plenty of gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan options (you can bring the meal back and eat it at the B&B). There is even a Snap Fitness one block away for those who do not want to break their workout routine. The breakfasts were of a different theme every day, and so were the elaborate table settings. The meals were served in several courses and were always a different theme. They were always freshly made (even the baked goods) and DELICIOUS! We were thrilled that the hosts were happy to accommodate any dietary restrictions as my friend is gluten and dairy free. His food, although slightly different, was equally delicious. Two more of my favorite things were the melt-in-your-mouth, freshly baked cookies each afternoon (gluten free cookies were made for my friend) and the porch swing looking out into the garden with flowers, butterflies, a water fountain...so peaceful. We highly recommend this the Oak Street Station Bed & Breakfast and will definitely return!

Truly awesome bed and breakfast in Ashland. We stayed in the Christina room, which was comfortable and furnished with a Victorian/shabby chic vibe. My boyfriend would probably say that the pink walls and flowers were too girly, but he loved it. In the morning, we would wake up in a big comfortable bed and go downstairs for breakfast, which consisted of multiple dishes. Every day had a different menu! A theme would be introduced - a Marilyn Monroe breakfast one day, a South of the Border feast the next - and the table and dishes would all complement the theme. This was also the first time I was introduced to the concept of 'breakfast dessert', which has totally revolutionized my idea of awesome. Breakfast should ALWAYS be finished with a dish of panne cotta, or tres leche cake, or something equally sweet. Owners John and Sue are both fans of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival (but of course!) and there are photos from many of the plays on the wall. It was really neat to look at past productions. When we came back to the house in the afternoon or evening, there were always fresh baked cookies and refreshing drinks waiting for us. We probably ate more than our fair share, but the cookies were just so good! There was a chocolate cookie with caramel in the center and salt sprinkled on top that was just amazing. Whenever I think about them my mouth starts to water. So good. If I'm able, I'll stay at Oak Street every year. It was just perfect.
