My better half and I stayed here for my birthday over memorial day weekend (and caught the Shakespeare Festival). The accommodations were perfect- tastefully decorated and not over-done. Cyd was very amenable to my bizarre dietary needs (gluten and dairy-free), and was very sweet in making sure I enjoyed my food-she baked wonderful scones especially for me on the first morning we were there, and gluten-free cornbread on the second morning. It felt very special that she did that. Cyd was also very helpful with orienting us to the area, and was overall super friendly and welcoming. Our room (Lithia Park) was fantastic (the bed was firm and comfortable, the room was well-appointed and handsome, and the hair and body products all natural and organic!!!!). The house itself was cozy and inviting, with a nice living room and entertainment room, and the garden was beautiful. As guests, we were free to make ourselves at home in any part of the downstairs shared space at any time, which felt wonderful. The inn is also within very near walking distance of downtown Ashland and the Shakespeare Festival (dinner, shopping, entertainment). All in all, this really felt like the perfect place to spend my birthday, and I am so glad we came here. We also fell in love with Ashland (it was my first time in town), and we will very much be back to this awesome little inn!!!

Nicely renovated into a B&B, the house offers comfortable accommodations. Downstairs there is a TV room, a computer setup for guests to use, a large living room with plenty of reading material and a family-style dining room. Off the dining room is a nice alcove for tea drinkers with instant hot water and a cabinet full of tea choices. Coffee is ready at 7am. Breakfast is at 9am, unless other arrangements are made. The B&B does accommodate dogs, however, if you booked the dog room and your plans change, call early as they change all bed linens to make the room ready for dogs and your $40 dog fee will not be refunded.

Quite possibly one of the best B&B's I have ever stayed at. A very large room and bath and a Breakfast better than most Grandmothers serve! The parking spaces off the main street make unloading the bags and pooches ( yes you can bring your dogs too) a breeze. The owners are very friendly and you have an option for having breakfast inside the main house dining room or outside in the garden area. Great experience and will recommend it to everyone!

My wife, my dog and I stayed at the Albion Inn on our way from Santa Cruz, Ca to Portland, Or and all three of us had the best time. Food, drink, and the company of the innkeeper where all wonderful and we felt so at home enjoying everything that was made available to us. Breakfast in particular was awesome, but then again the home made cookies was also great. We'd love to visit again. Thanks!

Our recent 3 night stay was mostly swell. We stayed in the Courtyard Room as it's the pet friendly room we needed.. It is also the handicapped room (which we did not know) until we got there. The sink which was in the actual bedroom not the bathroom, was a kinda strange one being for a wheel chair I guess..Also the toilet had an extra high seat. That was all good.. What was really nice was my sister, her hubby, my hubby, and me were the only guests staying there at the time! We had the place to ourselves! Cyd the hostess, really made us feel at home..She will give you as much privacy as you request, or you could be more chatty. We were a little of both..Breakfast was usually at our suggestion, and healthy and hardy all 3 mornings...We did have access to the mini kitchen for snacks and leftovers..We were glad the weather was warm and sunny because we like being outdoors. Ashland is a really fun town with loads to do..And the Albion Inn fit our needs perfectly..We got a pretty good rate too as it was mid week in early April.. p.s. It was an extra $20 pet fee for the whole stay!

Without a doubt, Woohoo! and then some! What a great place! We needed 2 rooms for 1 night- not all B&Bs do that, even on Tuesday. Albion Inn would. Their website allowed me to figure it out, comparison shopping online. A phone call confirmed availability and that 1 night was ok. I made our reservation. Got a nice email back the next day. After a long drive from the Bay Area, we arrived after the posted arrival time but Cyd was only a phone call away, the number at the door of the house. We were welcomed graciously and allowed to move in and unwind. Our two adjoining rooms were in a detached building facing the garden. Cool, quiet, better-than-nicely furnished, comfy. Restful. We took a dinner recommendation, half way to the theater, and walked two or three blocks from the Albion to Pasta Piatti, and another two or three to the Shakespere theaters, in good time for the play. One happy family. The next morning, I woke to the gentle sounds of the other guests eating breakfast. I checked and Cyd had held breakfast for us. And what a breakfast it was!, great scones, a five star quiche (why didn't *I* think of using turkey bacon?), perfect fruit and yoghurt and good, hot, coffee. Wonderful conversation, sitting in a beautiful garden, after a good night's sleep. Exactly what you hope for when you think "B&B". The main house has a computer and the latest mod-cons, books, a tv room, big formal dining room, tea/coffee service, along with very nice B&B rooms. No doubt you could drive in with only a change of clothes and spend a lovely weekend (or week) with them. Cyd was all business as far as setting up the business part, but she was clearly a nice person, from the first. They really, really, have the basics down, and that makes the special things stand out even more. Next time we're up for a play, or driving through, this will be where we stay. If you're a nice person, you should stay here,.
