Amity Foods is so amazing that I just assumed everyone knew about it. I was shocked to see only one review. Maybe Yelpers haven't given it the attention it deserves because it is not a "restaurant," but we need to pop the top on this apparently hidden gem because, other than a Blue Raeven pie, you won't find better goodies for at least 10 miles in any direction from this place! Chuck, the owner (bald guy, make sure you say hello!) is as passionate about his community as he is about small grocery and fresh food merchandising. He spent his life in management of a big grocery chain and knows how to do it right. There is a great selection of "you name it" (beers, wines, cheeses, fresh produce, in addition to plenty of ordinary well-stocked, clean, bright grocery shelves), but nothing is over-priced (he is the only grocery in Amity, but he won't gouge us). In addition to freshly prepared sandwiches and paninis to order, he has a few convenient and YUMMY items specially prepared for the store - my favorites are Jamie's scones (Jamie works there but she also does a small amount of commercial baking and her scones will knock your socks OFF! I hesitate to tell anyone because they do run out every day), and "take-n-bake" pizzas. They sell brewed Longbottom coffee or they will fresh press your favorite coffee drink to your liking. The staff is friendly, and there is a comfortable seating area with a few tables at the front of the store and free wi-fi. Try it, you'll LOVE it!

Located in the small town of Amity a few miles off the beaten path of Hwy 18, is this cute little coffee shop/store. We rode our bikes from Sheridan to this little establishment and they make up breakfast panini's that they package up and will heat up for you if you like. We bought some of those and a drink from the coffee and tea bar. They have seating in and outside. We opted for outside as there was some local group that scarfed up two tables for three people. They also have a little convenience store so I took the opportunity to buy some allergy meds for the ride home. All in all a good stop and I would do it again.

Sorry to say, one of the worst iced lattes of my entire life. I wish I could give separate ratings for the store (4 stars) and the coffee shop (2 stars). Well, maybe that's not fair. I wish I could give the barista 2 stars. She was really quite inept behind the coffee bar. A shame, because I came here for the first time a year ago and loved how charming and well stocked the store was and how nice it was to have the option of a coffee on a little country road trip.

Love it! It's a nice little coffee shop with an inviting atmosphere. There is something foe everyone... My kids can enjoy an ice cream cone while sip my coffee or tea depending on the mood. They also have free WiFi!!

Amity Foods and Coffee House has got to be the best little hidden gems out there! I've been in multiple times now and the owner is almost always on site and such a nice man. The baristas are so much fun every time I go in! There comical banter back and forth and sassy personalities definitely keep you entertained while you wait for the worlds Best sandwiches! The whole staff there are just so sweet and welcoming. I am making this place a permanent stop and highly recommend you do the same!
