I can't find any good Korean/Japanese in corvallis since I'm so used to eat authentic Asian food. But after I ordered food from here, I come here all the time. Spicy ramen and tempura shrimp are my favorite!

Yet another smartphone/mobile internet find--thank you Yelp! Long day of driving on I-5, thanks be to Yelp for pulling us all the way to freakin' ALBANY for this gem of a find. Because teriyaki, amirite? Arrived 45 minutes before closing, menu was a bit different from what we were expecting, but that was a good thing. Service was warm and frendly, environment on the "meh" side of casual, but what do you want, velvet curtains? My Spicy Teriyaki with white rice and vegetables arrived in rather more time than I expected, considering the place was empty--but the food was fresh, hot and tasty. I may have gotten the "end of day give him all the leftovers" portion because it seriously looked like a double portion of chicken and rice. The spicy dipping sauce was great as well. Get off the freeway already, park a block a way and stretch your legs. You'll be glad you did.

Meh. This place was alright. I had high hopes for it too. I got the chicken yakisoba lunch special and it was so bland and unappealing. The chicken was a bit burnt and they gave it to me in a to go box when I asked for it "for here". The sauce was so simple and bland. I was still hungry when I left. Upon opening up my tray, it just simply didn't look appetizing. I recall snapchatting a photo saying "this looks like crap". I posted a photo so make your own judgement.

Super good food, big portions, and friendly staff what more could you ask for. I've only eaten there a few times, once I sample more of there menu I'll update this to 5 stars. Been there several times now. I love this place! It would be nice if they would open up on Sundays.

I love this place, the owners are always nice and give pets scraps from the kitchen (don't worry, we leave the dog outside!) Get the miso, it's amazing and HUGE!

This place was quite alright. I don't love it and I don't hate it. I didn't give it a five star because there's nothing there that gave me the 'wow-factor'. The place was clean and decorative. The owners were really nice and informative about the food, when asked. The Teriyaki sauce was good though.

Three of their dinners easily feed a family of 5!

I'll reiterate my five stars for this place. Aside from the fact that the food is delicious, no offense to those who live in Albany, but downtown Albany is one of the most unpleasant places to be and they manage to get me to linger longer when I'm there. This place somehow manages to serve good food and keep their customers out of harm's way. The local police are regulars here so that may be a factor in this place being drama free with regards to sketchy people walking around downtown. The girls at the register always have a smile on their face when serving the customers and are respectful to the ones that cause drama. This place is probably my only reason to stop in downtown Albany when I do my grocery shopping at Costco. It's too bad they're not in Corvallis or Portland.

While the portion size was nice, the food was greasy and tasted like grease. The staff was rude, just coming by to drop our plates on the table. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

Great food and great people. The wait is a little longer than you would expect the food and portions are well worth it. Go down here if you haven't been before. I'm feeling a kim chi soup craving coming on.

Someone told me that "toki" means "rabbit." I've not been able to substantiate that. Rather, I've learned it translates to "hopeful." Either way, let me make this clear: there is no rabbit on the menu here. =-) Thank goodness! There IS rabbit on the walls, however. The decor is all about Mashi Maro, a Korean cartoon character (think Hello Kitty) that has had a good run in Flash animations online. ANYWAY... on to the point: TERIYAKI! The place is easy to locate, parking on the street is easily available. The place is SPOTLESSLY clean. The staff are friendly -- appears to be family run with Mom and Dad in the kitchen and the girls at the register. The menu is black and white and simple: single plates, or combo plates of quality meats, steamed rice and a good amount of vegetables. Yakisoba. Sides like gyoza (boiled, pan fried or deep fried). Mild sweet teriyaki as well as red chili hot and spicy versions. The prices are good and the portions are large (but not ridiculous). Yum yum yum. Wish I had some now! We've been there during the weekend lunch hours, and it's always got a modest but steady business. Keep this local gem open by putting down your apron and letting them do all the work!

I stopped here last night and expected it to be like every other teriyaki place I've been to, but was pleasantly surprised. I came in later in the evening and it was pretty quiet other than some nice music playing. I ordered the Spicy Teriyaki Chicken and a plate of Gyoza. The server asked how I wanted the Gyoza prepared and gave me three options to choose from - I don't think I ever had those options anywhere else. I chose to have it deep fried. The Gyoza came out ahead of my meal, served on a nice plate with a bown of dipping sauce. It was as good as i expected, and then my meal came. I liked that the spicy sauce was in a separate pourable bowl, so I could choose how much I wanted ot pour over the chicken and rice, or I could have chosen to dip the chicken into the sauce instead. The food was top notch and I enjoyed listening to the nice music while I finished my meal. I will definitely be back!

Really yummy food. I can't believe it's taken us so long to try this place. We had the chicken Teriaki and rice and the chicken Yakisoba

I would say Toki Teriyaki is as good as the other Teriyaki places in Albany. One thing that does make them stand out a little bit is some of their combo specials, which are good deals if you want to try more than one item on the menu. I really liked their sweet and sour chicken. The meat is cut up pretty well and made perfectly for the dish. The noodle dishes are solid choices as well. Another good thing about this place is that they give plenty of portions, making it well worth the money. They don't have much of a crowd or atmosphere inside (but plenty of seating), so it might be something to keep in mind if you are looking for a specific setting.
