I have come to this location for a few years now and have always had exceptional service and great food. We had a few waitresses and bartenders that we loved and would request for often because they had such great customer service. A lot of the girls personalized sparkly name tags which made it feel like less of a corporate chain restaurant. The last few months however something has changed. Customer service has gone out the window...when you cross your fingers you don't get seated with the waitress you really don't like, there's a problem. There aren't many familiar faces with sparkly name tags. (Did the good ones leave?) The food presentation is not like it used to be either. I know your food doesn't end up looking like the picture, but the burgers here used to look that good! Now, not so much. I've gotten a burger that was about a flat as a pancake when all i asked for was no tomatoes. We will occasionally come back just hoping that's it's as good as it used to be, but we end up leaving being disappointed again. Most definitely a hit or miss place to eat at now.

Once again I am pulled to red robin dragging my feet and screaming... Why does everyone do this to me?! No, I hate this chain, they are all exactly the same and I am less than enthuased.

Meh. I was disappointed. Food was expensive and the hamburger wasn't all that :-( I haven't eaten there in a long time and I don't remember it being just okay. It used to be so good. The waitress was super nice but forgot everything we asked for.

Came here today for my uncle's and father's birthdays. Our server Mark was excellent and kept on top of everything. The food was also excellent as I have come to expect from a Red Robin. The only downside is my dad hates onions and he got the Tavern Burger without onion. But apparently the thousand island like sauce has onions in it because he could taste onion throughout the entire burger. My dad refused to get it fixed so, no fault on RR's part.

This red robin doesn't even deserve one star. We sat down and had our orders in before a ginormous group loaded into all the tables. They messed up all our orders several times over and the huge groups of people got their food and paid and left before we even got all our food. The service was a complete tragedy. How hard is it to get water to a table? I won't ever come back here again. Worst service of my life.

Typical Red Robin burgers and fries fare. Service ok usually, but can be spotty at times. Hostess' are overbearing...I really don't need to be introduced to them by name at my table, need to report on my day, what I'm doing that night, etc. Also, for some reason some hostesses feel the need to give you the grand tour of the restaurant...just take me to my seat, please. Very annoying, especially for elderly and/or handicapped...we really don't need the tour. Avoid Weds nights...street rod club ties up the parking lot...exclusive parking for them, yet they seldom use the restaurant. Pricing is a bit high considering the portion and quality. Very good manager recently left; service has dropped off. Lots of kids, as expected, but not a problem.

Consistently good food you can't go wrong with! Tavern burger always made to perfection, and love those fries. Can get a bit spendy with drinks, but worth the good service and quality food!

One of the worst restaurant experiences I ever had. Went here with family / friends after Oregon football game. Service was atrocious. Took almost 90 minutes for food to arrive and food ordered was poorly prepared. The burger I ordered tasted like a low quality, frozen patty. Staff ended up comping 4 of our 7 meals due to poor service and food quality. Would recommend Burger King over this Red Robin if available.

Good deals with their new tavern burger specials. Cheaper than Carl's Jr, with unlimited fries and a few different choices. Sometimes the service is absolutely excellent, and other times the servers are absolutely horrible. If you find a server you like, ask to be seated in their section next time to save the heartache. Can't complain for the quality and price of their new menu. Also, if you join their rewards program, you get deals better than any place I have seen. I have eaten there 3 times since joined Red Royalty, and have already had 3 burgers completely paid for and a free appetizer. They have to be losing money. Can't complain for the price.

I've been to a lot of Red Robin's, and generally they have a pretty consistent level of food quality, however this location did not. I order some clam strips, they were different from any of the other Red Robin's I have ever been too, they were lightly breaded, bland, gristly, stringy, and super chewy. The shrimp I received as a replacement for the clam strips, were not much different. Breaded shrimp should have bread, and not a hard, dried out almost non existent crust. Also the cocktail sauce, I believe was red colored apple sauce, it had the same taste, and the same consistency and texture, also you could taste the cinnamon. The waitress and the manager, were both very friendly, however I do not hold out much hope for he rest of the food at this location. So after this experience we ended up at the Del Taco just across the street, and had a pretty decent dinner.

I went to Red Robin while I was in town on business. My hotel had an agreement with them for a 10% discount. I walked in and asked to place an order to go and a nice young woman, Sam, mentioned that this was her first night taking to-go orders and that she'd be happy to take my order when I was ready. After perusing the menu, I decided to order buffalo chicken strips, with a side salad, and fries. Sam was so great! She said I could get a french fry refill with my to go order, for no extra charge. I had to wait awhile for change, but it's because Sam didn't know that she was supposed to have her own change (instead of using the register's till), and I told her it was okay. I left with a ton of food! When I got back to my hotel room I saw that she had even included a nice note written on very nice paper thanking me for choosing Red Robin. Four stars for Sam for great customer service!!! (The food was okay--like every other Red Robin.)

I love Red Robin but this location was probably one of the worst I have been to. The service was slow and they let all the dirty dishes on the table accumulate before even starting to clear one. The burger wasn't as good as it usually is at other locations and I think I would stop at any Red Robin other than this one after this experience. Seemed like the hoppin' place for Albany though.

Well, its a Red Robin so if you have been to one before you pretty much know what to expect. All the steak fries you can eat, a bunch of different hamburgers to chose from as well as a few chicken, pasta and salad offerings. Generally I like their stuff OK I guess, but I do have one complaint. The last time I went there, I ordered the fish & shrimp with fries. Fish was acceptable (have had MUCH better fish fries before), but the shrimp were not. The breading/batter was very thick, and most important, the cocktail sauce was terrible. I expect a standard cocktail sauce - ketchup based with some horseradish. This was nothing of the sort. Was there even horseradish in it? I sure didn't taste any, may as well have been dipping them in ketchup. Now here is something odd... Have you ever seen a television in the bathroom before? I sure haven't before I went here (and I go out A LOT). Here at the Albany Red Robin, you can sit on the crapper and enjoy some TV I guess. (see attached pic)

Noisy and a bit on the spendy side but even so it seems to be one of our perennial favorites. The children order a very predictable "Corn Puppies and Melon" or "Cheese burger and fries" and they are always happy with their food. The adults are more wiling to try new things and the Octoberfest Burger was my choice this time around. It was a burger with ham, swiss, beer mustard and grilled onions on a pretzel bun. The bun was my only source of concern while ordering, but I was pleasantly surprised with a palatable and pleasant change to the regular bun. A bit of chewiness without being a jaw buster. It had a nice heft to it, it made me want to say things in German, if only I knew some things to say... The lovely lady with me had a salad of some sort and she enjoyed it. The beer was a little off and at their prices it shouldn't be. I mentioned it and while they did reference a nearly empty keg, they did not offer to replace the beverage with a different one. - 1 star. Everything else was fine and we will be back, I'm sure. I just won't order beer next time...

Gourmet McDonalds. Fancier, bigger, juicer American fast food foodies. The Mighty Cesar salad was pretty good. It didn't have much character though... just romaine lettuce, parmesan cheese, and croutons (seriously? no other veggies? poor salad, def not worth $8) The Cesar dressing was perfect! They forgot my garlic focaccia bread :/ Expensive, fancy, not-so-fast food.... Didn't taste bad, but I am not willing to pay that much for average food, average service, and average atmosphere. Then again, I'm very biased, seeing as I'm generally not a big fan of American food (and am vegetarian).

If you are looking for a kid friendly place that serves drinks with affordable prices and casual American food, this is the place to go. Many people think that Red Robin is some nationally owned impersonal chain, but this Red Robin is "local" and co-owned by a friend of mine who lives in Eugene and U of O alum! They have fantastic burgers and the best fish and chips in the area - and a great Cobb salad. Also, the service is friendly and fast - unlike some restaurants, they want your business. Celebrate a birthday here and they will come and sing to your kids! #corvsmb

You all know what this chain is about, but this specific locations diaper-changing facility really blows! I could have probably looked past the mediocre service and the screwed up order...... but what really burns my butt is that while having a supposed family-friendly atmosphere and menu, you must change your kids diaper while standing OVER a toilet, in a narrow stall. Yuck. Won't be going back til he's potty-trained!

Eh, it's Red Robin...you know what you're getting. Service is good at the Albany RR, so it's worth it sometimes when we have the kids and don't care if they make a racket or not.

Why do I choose this chain restaurant again for an Albany lunch?? The food is average at best (way too salty) and overpriced. Nothing special here. The fries are the best part, especially with the Red Robin Seasoning added. The burgers should be much better - instead they are piled with sauce and salt. The best part of this Red Robin is the wait staff. Fast and efficient. Maybe even too friendly and bothersome. Skip this chain and they to find a better (preferably) local establishment.

Love the Vesuvious burger. I was also happy to have been asked if there was anything else I wanted on the burger and so it was added. I also like the fact that they ask if you want you burger still with juice left in it or hockey puck.

Red Robin, Yum.... Ish. Every time I've gone in the service has been hit or miss and the food is what i expected it to be, only decent. Even though this place is owned by locals, I don't feel this place is the same as a local business mostly because you just don't get the local feel, it is a chain franchise and to me I just can't see myself supporting this place as much as the smaller businesses. The owners also own Carino's Italian Grill across the parking lot, and when you see the reviews for there as well you start to get the impression that mediocrity (or less) is ok by them. They will still get plenty of customers. Honestly okness is just that, ok. The thing about chains is that most people don't expect to get a 5-star meal or 5-star service, they just want the ok and any thing more is great and anything less is just kind of a wash. If you go in knowing what to expect it will be harder to be disappointed and if the experience isn't great, you can always ask for a manager and they usually try to make it better for you. On a final note, i won't dock them any points on the lack of healthy options... If i want healthy i already know that chain style companies aren't expected to be the best choice for that. (sad but true) if i want a big greasy burger and endless steak fries then Red Robin Will be where i go. Cheers, Aaron

Fast, friendly service. Mediocre chain-restaurant food. Decent but overpriced drinks. There is really not that much to say which hasn't been said about this or other Red Robin locations. Good in a pinch but not worth searching out.

worst Red Robin experience EVER. seriously -- when your bill is $67 for four people -- something is wrong. seriously wrong. our waitress seemed nice on the exterior -- but she wasn't in tune with us...besides drinks...she kept refilling our cola and waters...so that was nice. we ordered spinach dip ($10!) as an appetizer. it was not worth $10. My mom got a large salad -- and she couldn't eat it because it was all romaine leaf ends (gross). anyway, the atmosphere was stupid...big and airy. the wait staff outnumbered the patrons. ugh...we were happy to escape this Albany wreck. never will be back to this location.

My daughters and I came in for an early dinner. We were greeted and taken to our table. Alli was our waitress. We ordered burgers, sweet potato fries and extra dipping sauces. My daughter got a freckled lemonade and I got a purple drink but can't remember the name. My little one got a kids meal. The fries came in generous portions. Our food was good. My drink was beautiful but tasted kind of artificial to me. Alli checked on us throughout our meal. When she brought us our bill I showed her my military ID and she gave us a discount- which I appreciated. We had a pleasant experience and left with our bellies full. It is a night and day difference between this location and the one in Wilsonville which you should avoid like the plague.

This was my first time ever eating at a red robin. Crazy...I know! I thought it was great for a fast food type place that serves drinks. In fact, I think their business model is rather unique. So I had a BBQ chicken wrap and sweet potato fries which were an extra charge as an upgrade from the regular fries and they were all you can eat. I ate too many . Anyhow, our server was nice and I give it four stars for hitting the marks based on the type of joint that it is. What it is not is a fancy place, so if that's what you are looking for perhaps try somewhere else. I would go back!

Right when I walked into the establishment I was greeted by some outstanding employees, who were very happy and bubbly. They really set the feel for the environment. Once seated, it was kind of a awkward feeling. There is not dividers in the dining area just wide open space with tables everywhere. This makes it very hard to try to carry on a conversation with the person beside you with all of the background noise bouncing everywhere and no place to go or be retained. The food was very good, but once I my friend and I were done eating we were asked twenty plus different times if we were ready to pay. Then once we paid and they ran our card the constantly came over to ask if we were done with our waters or soda or wanted more...it was a very rushed ending.

I've never been to a Red Robin before and probably will never go again. It's not that I'm a restaurant snob, it's just that I would prefer to support the local businesses in town. This place fulfills the basic needs like any chain restaurant. They have decent food (if uninspired), decent prices, and a decent waitstaff. Catch the theme? Everything was mediocre. I had the Asian chicken salad, which was one of the rare items under 600 calories. 415 without the bread. I just find this ridiculous! Everything is loaded with fat. Not a good place for a healthy meal.

Great casual diner, great food, great service. Our favorite place in Albany

One of my favorite chain restaurants. Always have good service at this location.

Service was not good and two people in our group didn't enjoy their food at all.

Basic, burger, stuff.

Nothing fantastic or memorable...convenient location. Wouldn't go out of the way to eat here. Food is just average at best.
