You pay a little more but it sure blows subway out of the water. Get the No Boloney on a grinder roll. Don't skimp on the garlic spread.

I've eaten here quite a few times and I love it. They have so many different meats and toppings to choose from, all fresh and high quality. Every time I eat here, the people are in a super good mood, super friendly, way above what I would expect. They always have great specials so I don't get tired of eating the same thing all the time.

The quality of the food is still great, but they seem to be suffering with high staff overturn. I just don't have 15 min to stand in line on my lunch break and there rarely seems to be a sense of urgency in the service. I hope they can get their rhythm back because Albany needs local businesses like this.

Have been there twice now. Gave the first time a benefit of the doubt. I have to agree with previous posters about the lack of friendliness. It seems as if they could care less if you were there. The sandwich was skimpy on the vegies and waaayyy to much bread. Had to scoop out the insides of the grinder roll. Done trying this place now. Been there, done that.

Very good sandwiches. Get the Italian on a grinder roll. Make sure to get their ranch sauce.

All is good. Just don't like the country music they play. Something a little more relaxing would be nice.

My boyfriend and I haven't been back to Subway since trying this great place! Their ingredients are always fresh tasting and service is upbeat. One of our new favorites!

This is the kind of sandwich shop you and I would make, if we felt like starting our own sandwich shop. My family and I went there my last night in Albany and we all had their grinder sandwiches. Mother was raving about the tuna, my brother had a French dip, and I had an Italian, each of us loving every bite. Everything was fresh and the meats were as though the owner hand-picked exactly the best to serve. I was also genuinely amazed by the number of toppings they had to offer, though the layout made these a bit hard to see. The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff made our meal even better. If you think of Subway when you think of sandwich shops, you should DEFINITELY try No Bologna. The quality, variety, and freshness of the sandwiches will make it worth your time.

Best Sandwhich shop in Albany. They use high quality ingridents and always have a clean restaurant. My favorite sand which is the No Baloney. Their grinder bread is extremely good. Whatever sand which you order ALWAYS get the garlic ranch sauce! The staff is friendly, helpful, and engaging while also being professional. This seems to be the biggest difference I sew from other big chain sand which shops and No Baloney. I'd reccomend this place to anyone and everyone. Average sandwich here is about 7 bucks but its definitely worth the extra cash.

I think this place has potential. When I went there I exspected a toasted sub.The sub was no where near toasted and the cheese was semi warm no where near melting point. Also the meat on my Italian sub was all cold besides the pepperoni. The garlic ranch sauce sounds good but the sub bread was very thick and dry so I couldn't taste the sauce at all. All in all the sandwiches could be good if they could get the toaster to actually toast the bread and melt the cheese.also should use a different sub bread cause subways bread taste better. Would not recommend this place until they can work out the toasting problem at the least.2 stars cause the meats are decent

I've been coming here since they were Quiznos. The owner and her staff are excellent and very customer service oriented. They remember faces well and always get sandwiches finished fast. If you're looking for something quick and have to run or want to eat in, look no further.

I am mad at myself for not trying this place sooner. It is somewhat like a Quiznos, but with better quality. Their half sandwich is about the same size as a footlong from subway, and always under $5. This is a steal. The different types of sandwiches are great and the service is always top notch. My new favorite sandwich shop in Albany for sure!

Maybe it was just today but I have no idea what any of these people are talking about this place being friendly nor good food. I found the staff to be just short of rude. I did not get everything I asked for on my food. I got overcharged on 2 drinks by $2. I will give it another shot but it does really seem like a lot of the other reviews are bought and paid for somehow. That is really how bad it was.

Their sandwiches and grinders are amazing! The staff wasn't exceptionally friendly but they got the job done. The No Baloney grinder is my favorite, but check out their daily specials.

One of the best sandwiches I've had in a very long time, and what makes it even better is the staff. You can see that this is a place where they are really on top of their game. This is my new go to place for lunch. I just finished and I'm already looking forward to next time.

We stopped by No Baloney on our way out of Corvallis on a hot day. The staff was very friendly and the owner/manager was working behind the counter too with great enthusiasm. Reading the other reviews, we were encouraged to get any sandwich that boasted No Baloney's special garlic spread that is put in the bread before toasting, essentially producing a garlic bread sandwich and boy does it work well. They do not use a lot of meat though you can pay for double meat. This, I do not mind, I like my subs light on the meat. The quality of cuts are pretty darn good. They have a huge bar of toppings you can add to your basic sub. From the traditional lettuce all the way up to chopped eggs. Designer subs for sure. We ordered the basic Italian and the special of the day which was a BBQ pulled pork with sweet and spicy sauce. I liked the Italian and loved the toasted garlic bread it was on with the chipotle mayo that the sandwich designer recommended. The bread was crusty and chewy which was awesome. That BBQ sandwich was so tasty. I would not say that the meat was of exceptional quality but it tasted very good. I found myself ignoring my Italian to sneak bites of the Special BBQ sub. I will certainly go back. The customer service was quick and friendly, every sandwich is 100% custom made to your liking, and the daily specials are intriguing. Most of the reviews here highlight the garlic spread they put on the sandwiches and I agree. Good stuff!

Delicious, with lots of healthy options. I drop in and get lunch a couple times a month, no matter how busy they are I always get top notch service and a tasty sandwich at a reasonable price.

I feel bad for not posting a review sooner (I guess I need to spend more time on Yelp?!). I have been going to No Baloney since they opened last year. The owners also own the Baskin Robins in Albany and do a good job at both locations. I have never had a bad sandwich or experience at No Baloney. As I am a creature of habit and know what I like, I usually get the same sandwich (the Philly on a grinder). I would highly recommend the garlic-ranch sauce. I also like the fact that they often have an "off menu" item they are trying out and have had them make me the "special" a couple of times and again have never been disappointed. \ The ingredients are fresh and good. The restaurant is clean and usually busy. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. If you're not sure what to put on your sandwich will suggest and guide you through the sandwich making process. The prices are about the same compared to other sandwich shops and I think No Baloney has better sandwiches. We will be back (probably sooner than we should be) but this place is worth it.
