The food is pretty good and the choices are basic but they're good basic. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Highly recommend the mushrooms.

It is all about the All You Can Eat Snow Crab Legs. Service isn't that good. The selection is not very big, but food is okay. They have crab legs every night and all day on the weekends.

Been there done that. Limited selection with your basic no frills preparation. If you want to simply load on calories- go for it. Their cleaning of the table and floors between customers is spotty. I don't want to see what it is going to look like after it has been open for wawhile.

Safe bet. However, I think this place will eventually put Riverview Mongolian grill out of business. For the same price, you can have Mongolian grill, buffet sushi, and Chinese buffet all for the same price. We went friday night and the place was slammed, as is usual for a new place opening in boring old Albany. The service was quick and very good, so that is a plus. I was a little surprised on how little the buffet size was, but the food was very fresh and refilled pretty quickly. The sushi was run of the mill and not to be compared at all to an actual sushi place. The real hit here seemed to be the Mongolian grill. I estimated 80% of people were using that which also made the line at the buffet a little easier. The egg flower soup was horrible, but other dishes were pretty good for a buffet. All in all, it is a safe bet for a buffet especially with the grill, and I imagine we will be back to try it again to see how things have changed for the better or worse.

I read the reviews first, and was expecting to be underwhelmed, however it was very good! There were four or five servers swarming around, great service! Food was good!

I like this buffet. My husband hates buffets but he likes this place. Their choices are slightly limited but the food is fresh and really good. I like that they don't fill the tins so much so they have to replace the food more often so it never tastes like it been sitting there for a while. It's really clean and the staff was really nice. Everyone smiled and took care of us very well. They have sushi and a Mongolian grill on top of some of the typical food.

I really liked their choices here I mean its no spirit mountain but they seemed to put lot of thought to what people like Will be back again for food and service Thanks golden town!

The food here isn't bad though I have yet to try the Mongolian grill section. I like most of the selections available in the buffet. My big complaint is service. Once I have been seated I have waited up to 20 minutes to get my beverage. In a place where there is not full service and plenty of young waiters hanging around and talking it is difficult to get their attention and get your drink, more napkins, or anything else.

Standard Chinese buffet fare, mongolian grill, a bit of sushi, and meats. Everything is okay, but nothing to yell home about. Service is about what you'd expect with a Chinese buffet, although Ive been told that the service the day I went with friends was actually pretty good compared to the last few times they went.

This is a great local buffet. I really liked their seafood soup - it's a nice change from the standard hot/sour and egg drop. The sushi is pretty tasty. You have your routine Chinese buffet spread but I really liked the coconut chicken. The ice cream selections were good. Service was friendly and prompt. Definitely will come back.

While in town visiting relatives we went here for lunch and dinner. The food was very good and the people working there were friendly. We would go there again the next time we are in Albany!

Excellent food and service. Nice atmosphere, too. My third time here and will recommend to everyone. I'm Asian so I'm picky, but this place rocks!

I'm surprised at the low ratings here. Every time I have been here, it's been a good experience. The food is kept well stocked and is pretty good for buffet food. There's a decent selection and cooks to make custom sushi and stir fry. I have had no trouble finding a waiter when I need something. They get extra points for having a clean and nice bathroom. All in all, I'd highly recommend this place!

I would give this zero stars. We went there excited for crab and sushi. My son came back with a plate of crab that was covered in black hair! We immediately told the server and he tried to say it was off of the seats. We left and will never go back.

Being new to the area, the boyfriend and I were looking for new restaurants to try. Based on the mixed reviews, we went in with an open mind. After our meal, we left full and pleasantly surprised. The customer service was EXCELLENT! The second I ran out of water, a server was at our table with refills and even stopped by while we were at the buffet and refilled us again and cleaned off the table. The food was pretty average quality but everything tasted great. I loved the scoop-your-own ice cream! Way better than soft serve. I think most of these bad reviews are coming from people that have never eaten at a buffet before. You just can't expect 5-star quality food at a buffet. All in all, we liked it and will definitely be back!

Good customer service and I like the make your own. Good place to go if you want something fast but sit down.

I've never had a worse experience at a buffet! I tried to be understanding but I'm sorry I just can't say anything nice about this place. At the sushi "bar" (I'm a sushi lover and know my sushi) I asked for assistance, and all they said was that there was no more in the "back". Yum, that's great! Just after telling me I can get ANY kind of sushi. It was wet and half squished by the way. The vegetables were ALL raw, meat was extremely fatty, and to top it all off I sat at the table for over an hour trying to get some attention about my drink situation (they never brought them to me and my husband) I'd recommend buying the ingredients all at Safeway and making the food your self before eating this disappointing "Chinese food"

Another buffet choice for people in Albany. It is very similar to the New China Buffet in Corvallis. It is very basic and you get what you usually get in standard Chinese buffets. The crab legs are the big draw in this place, as well as the oyster muscles. There are plenty of seating areas and the servers are pretty attentive most of the time. I recommend it for large groups looking for a standard Chinese buffet.

Stayed at a hotel close by was told they were open until 9:30. When we called just after 9pm to verify we were told that they were shutting down not to even go.

If this buffet was free,I would still not eat here. The building was nice and new. The meat was fatty the Chow mein was some strange orange color.

It was pretty good food, but they tried to rip us off out of the lunch price. The cashier claimed we walked in at 4:00pm (it was 3:58, and he didn't understand how my iPhone app shows the time within 1/10 of a second of atomic time). I had to stand my ground through a lot of unnecessary back-and-forth, pointing out that THE BENEFIT OF A DOUBT SHOULD FALL IN THE CUSTOMER'S FAVOR. Sheesh...
