We were in the area for a fishing weekend and this was an unexpected surprise. The food was very good with a great flavor. Our party of seven had everything from a baked potato to the catfish and ribs. The sides were all very good also. Would definitely recommend this to any one coming to the area!

There aren't many non-fast food options in Wagoner but we were hoping to find a hidden gem. I had the two meat platter with sliced brisket and pulled pork with French fries and brown beans as the side dishes. The fries were frozen Ore Ida-style, which was disappointing. The brown beans were good. The quality of the meat was good but the flavor just wasn't there. I prefer not to rely on sauce for flavor but it was definitely needed here and I didn't particularly care for the sauce. My husband had the ribs and the hot links with baked beans and fried okra. The okra appeared to be formerly frozen and the baked beans were way too sweet. The ribs had good flavor. The hot links were on the hot side but probably the best of all of the meats. There wasn't anything terrible about the meal and the service was fine; there just wasn't anything outstanding about it, either.

The BBQ was decent. Nothing too spectacular but also not bad. Prices were pretty good. I bought the chopped roast beef BBQ dinner with two pieces of toast, fries, green beans, and a coke, and it cost me $16 including tip. The server and hostess were friendly. The atmosphere was very casual. The only alcoholic beverages they had were Budweiser, Bud Light, and Coors Light. TL;DR: nothing spectacular, but this is pretty much the only non fast-food restaurant in town other than Braums, so it's a welcome change.

Not bad. Service was a little lacking the night I was there but the food is what earned the 3 stars. Overall it was average BBQ, but I feel like there are better options for this style of food. Not on the level of other BBQ places that are a town away. Don't go here looking to be amazed, but simply for a change from fast food choices in town.

Runt's is a very nice little restaurant specializing in ribs. If you go, be sure to order the ribs and the baked beans. They are the best! Clean, friendly, family atmosphere. Good prices and good service.
