Hostess was friendly and seated us right away. Chips and salsa were promptly served and our drink order was taken. Salsa tastes pretty fresh, no big chunks, not too spicy. We ordered a large queso and it came in a bowl. The queso is runny but tastes really good, not too spicy either. My husband and I shared the "Emily special" because we ate so much of the chips and salsa. You can order it with chicken, beef or both. We love the chicken Emily special and order it every time. It is veggies and chicken over rice with queso sauce on top. The only negative I have is that the vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower and carrots) are frozen and not fresh. For some reason it tastes really good anyway and we keep coming back for it. We poured some of our extra queso on it which makes it even better. The servers here are helpful and quick. The tables are clean. Floors are a little old and dirty. Bathroom was old but fairly clean. Bottom line is, I love this mexican food and will return for more.

Best Mexican place around. Whenever I fly in to visit family I make them take me here. My favorite is the Emily Special, chicken and veggies in a cheese sauce. So good! Service is friendly and attentive.

This is our go-to Mexican place when we are in Vinita. The servers are always nice, the margs are pretty good (not syrupy or too sweet), and the food is ok. Veggie fajitas for the win, but I'm usually too cheap for that, so I end up with a vegetarian combo for $7 that is enough food for two meals of leftovers after filling up on chips and salsa. This isn't traditional or even particularly good authentic Mexican food, but it's solid, consistent Tex-Mex, the service is good and the place is clean. One of Vinita's better restaurants, without a doubt.

Passing through from Ohio and stopped for the night in Vinita. This restaurant was recommended by the motel staff. We were seated immediately upon arrival and had chips and salsa served by the time we got our coats off. Our meals were served quickly and were absolutely delicious. The food portions were large and very attractively presented. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

We visit Grand Lake often, and this is the restaurant we go to every time. The margaritas alone would be worth the trip. Frozen or on the rocks, you can get lime, strawberry, peach, mango, or gold. And for $4 a drink. They often have drink specials for $3. Best of all, they are STRONG. the food is excellent. The pork is the best I've ever had. Better than Chipotle's "Barbacoa" if that helps. It's how it is marinated...just falls apart in your mouth. The seafood enchiladas are crammed with shrimp and crab. The fajitas come on a very large plate, enough for 5 tortillas. For kids, you can get tacos or enchiladas. But they also offer corndogs, chicken strips, cheeseburger, etc. Again, we go every chance we get on our visits to the Lake.

Out of the 2 Mexican Restaurants in Vinita, this is definitely the one to go to! They have fantastic food, and amazing service. I recommend this restaurant to everyone! Can't get better than this!

This place is really great. I am always on the lookout for authentic Mexican and this place does not disappoint. The molcajete is amazing!
