Atmosphere was really cool with all of the artwork and old brick. I really liked sitting in the booth that was the old elevator. I have gone a couple time and survive was hit and miss. But the food has been amazing everytime. The pork street tacos have a good bite to them, and go well with their beer. The baked mac and cheese with bacon I could eat every day! The outdoor music and seating is so cool and spacious. Also I love the huge parking lot next to it. Great place to start or end the night and walk up and down brady and main and come back.

Just had a horrible experience at this restaurant. We waited 15 min for a table although several seemed to be available. We waited 10-15 before we had a waiter. Another 20-30 before we got water and heaven forbid when my friend needed more water. And act silly asked for lemon. THe beer was another 20 min wait. Then we finally got to order. We waited 3 hours and at least an hour and a half For a side order of garlic mashed potatoes and a bland bowl of mac and cheese called something fancy. I looked down at this pitiful small cold bowl of potatoes and laughed. Sent them back. Cold and yucky. Surly I thought there must be a hidden camera. This is a joke. And the waitress assured us she wouldn't charge us for the bacon they didn't have as addition tithe Mac and cheese. Thanks for not charging us for what you ran out of! And they added they won't charge us for The chips and queso. We had a free coupon for free chips and queso! The food was terrible and bland. The service was a joke. A three hour experience but at least I was with good company who could laugh about such a ridiculous experience.

The rusty crane is great. One of my regular restaurants to go to. The cowboy queso is gluttonous and delicious. All of the entrees I've had are good and all come with a humorous name (try the mother clucker). Their drink specials are pretty good too and they have some eclectic ones.

I've always been impressed with the RC. From how they support local musicians and artists, to their food: it's quite the setup. The design inside is cool. Cool lighting, cool local art, cool industrial feel, cool bar, COOL UPSTAIRS PATIO... Let's talk more about this patio for a second. You will feel like you're in a Lifetime movie that's just ending happily. With strung bulb lights and a killer view, you'll be happy; pinky promise. As mentioned, the RC supports local music. I've seen a couple shows here and am amazed at how the acoustics work to be able to still have a conversation without yelling but still enjoy the live music. I love to grab a cold beer here; there are plenty of options. Food-wise, I like to get down with the Party Melt burger. The grilled rye bread tickles my tastebuds. Catering is also killer here! What party doesn't need a build your own nachos showcased?! The owner, Lee, is a passionate Tulsan who is so involved in the community and his biz. He really wants his customers to be happy and make Tulsa a better place!

We had been wanting to try Rusty Crane for a while and finally made it over this past weekend. Our overall impression - surprisingly just ok. The atmosphere gets 4 stars. I love when people take the old, unused buildings downtown and put them to good use again while retaining that historic charm. This place has a warehouse feel that is cozy while still being open. They have a full bar area and outdoor patio which is awesome. My only complaint is that it was quite loud. The service also gets a thumbs up. Our server Ronnie was super, just one of those people you instantly have to like. He even gave us our appetizer on the house! The hostesses were also very kind and we only had to wait for a few minutes even on a busy Friday night. The food was where we were disappointed. I ordered the mango fish tacos, my husband ordered the burger and fries, and our friend ordered the stir fry. We all agreed that it was ok at best. Everything just tasted sort of bland. We did enjoy our appetizer - the cowboy queso. But the salsa was barely even salsa, more like mashed up tomatoes. Our cocktails on the other hand were very yummy, but SO expensive. I ordered the St. Asti - a drink with gin and St. Germaine. I would definitely get this again. My husband ordered the Wrecking Ball - a whiskey drink and he liked that as well. But at $10 a pop! Too much for a drink in Tulsa. I would try the Rusty Crane again but I'm not going to seek it out. I would probably be more likely to come here for drinks or an appetizer than a full meal.

The hamburger with a pretzel bun was delicious. Beer selection great. Service from Chris was superb. Fries yummy. Atmosphere in the old warehouse building was super cool. Loved all of it!

I've got mixed feelings on The Rusty Crane. First the bad- for a place that bills itself as the place to go after Drillers games, closing 5 minutes after the game ends is not cool! We walked straight there from the park, ordered one drink, and were told to tab out. If there were hours posted, fine. But the closing time is listed as ??? and ??? shouldn't equate to 10:31 pm, 5 minutes after the game ends. Now the good- BEFORE the game this is a great place to go. Friendly service, and being there for Bark in the Park they were dog friendly on the patio and brought our little guy his own water bowl. Drinks were a little pricy but well put together. The selection was good. Both times we've eaten there the food has been great as well.

The Rusty Crane is a new favorite! Perfect location downtown near the driller's stadium. Went last night, had to park a few blocks away because a driller's game was going on but it was no big deal, the weather was so nice. We had a party of 8 and were on the list to sit inside but it was so nice out and there was a big table available so we ate on the patio. Good choice because we ended our dinner watching a fantastic fireworks show after the baseball game. The fireworks show was so spectacular it was like the 4th of July! Most of us had the Rusty Ritas-really good margaritas with a touch of brandy-very good flavor. A couple of people had the beers. I am not a fan of sweet drinks and this margarita was not. Just perfect. They had lots of appealing appetizers but we dove straight into our entrees. I had the Signature Yumlada, seasoned chicken sauteed with red and yellow bell peppers, garlic, red onions, spinach, black beans and cheese in a tomato basil tortilla topped with alfredo sauce. It normally comes with fresh fruit but I had beans and chips and salsa on the side instead. There was so much food my friend had to help me eat it. My husband had the patty melt with fries and he said it was great. One couple split the meatloaf and loved it. Wide variety of great foods-it was hard to choose. For dessert our table split the Brownie Sundae and the 3 layer chocolate cake. Delicious. Our waitress, Sarah was so attentive and accommodating-she really took care of us. Everyone that worked there was super friendly. Loved the atmosphere, the inside was a warehouse look and the bar looked really nice. They have a great looking brunch menu and they also cater. Definitely will be back soon, can't believe it took me so long to try this place! It's going to be a really fun spot to frequent this summer with the great foodm drinks and patio.

Delicious! Had the Mediterranean tacos amazing! Also the steak and vegetable soup! Loved the sangria great balance and not too sweet ... Hub has pulled pork said is was great and my boy had steak and eggs Love the fresh ingredients and blend of flavors Staff was friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was eclectic and cool! Would defiantly return!

Too bad we cant do .5 stars. This place is 4.5. Had lunch here with my cousin after she suggested it. I had heard of it, but had not yet been. The location seemed in kind of a weird spot. After walking it I could see the place was clean and laid out well. A very nice looking bar setup on the north side of the building. We were seated and placed drink orders. When it was time for food I went with the pulled pork tacos after reading a review here on Yelp. That was a good call. The tacos were great, the beans and rice were great. The salsa with the chips looked questionable, but it was very flavorful. The servers were great too. Drinks topped off when needed, plates picked up, extra lemons offered for my tea. I could find nothing wrong with it. The only reason for not 5 stars is the location and outside of the building doesn't do anything to draw you in. I will be back here for sure though.

This place is a must! Been here several times, food is delicious, great cocktail menu, and if you can, go by for brunch. The Bloody Mary Is Amazing. . I think it was voted one of if not the best in tulsa. The main reason you need to go here is because of how they treat you. It is very apparent that customer service is a main focus for them!

The Rusty Crane is in my most humblest of opinions...a most excellent place to go! It was in the year of our Lord, two thousand and fifteen on a warm February, Friday afternoon. I was headed to get some lunch and found myself parked in front of The Rusty Crane. The Rusty Crane is located in Downtown Tulsa on North Detroit Ave. When I walked in I immediately liked the look of things. They have a great setup with great decor! They feature local artists' work on their walls and I was very impressed with what I saw. When I walked in a very friendly, smiling host with a long red beard sat me immediately. My waitress was there shortly and took my drink order. When she returned with my sweet tea in a Mason jar I asked her for recommendations since it was my first visit. She suggested the Mango Fish Tacos and so after some contemplation I went with that. When my order came out I of course took pictures first. My waitress brought me some Red Chili Cilantro Ranch for my Crane Fries and after I added a little extra Rusty Dust to my fries I dug in. Everything was excellent! If you haven't already been here I definitely recommend it! I was too full to try any of their desserts but everything sounded amazing! I'll definitely be back!

I've had The Rusty Crane bookmarked FOREVER. This past week, a friend who had moved to China came back to the US for the first time in years. Perfect opportunity (excuse) to get some good ole' American bar food. We got there at 2:30 on a Thursday afternoon, so it wasn't too busy (and parking was no problem!). The patio is really cute (note to self, come back when this Oklahoma summer is gone), but we chose to sit inside (again, gross Oklahoma summer). I loved the tables with modge-podge-d old pictures from the 50s (although it's kind of creepy to look at pictures of people who are now potentially dead while you eat). I got the loaded french fries ($9) - nommm. I really like how they used THICK cut fries and added seasoning salt before piling on the cheese. Only complaint was how there wasn't that much bacon. These fries were good, but I'm still going to say The Brook's are better when it comes to toppings. My friend got the "Pick 2" (really more like "Pick 3") lunch deal and got a cheese quesadilla with a side of nachos and cheese and a bowl of the soup of the day - watermelon gazpacho soup (with mint?) and topped with feta cheese. I grimaced when the waitress described it, but when I tried it, it was actually pretty decent. Light and refreshing - perfect for a hot day. I didn't try them, but the quesadilla and nachos didn't look that great...like something you'd give your 5 year old. We also got drinks - the Route 66 ($7) and the Wrecking Ball ($10)- and both were okay. I'm not a huge cocktail person, but I still downed a couple of glasses. To be honest, I was weary about the service we were going to get after reading all the recent Yelp reviews. To my relief, we didn't experience ANY of that. Our waitress (Andrea?) was extremely attentive and checked upon us often during the 3 hours we were there (what can I say? My friend and I had a lot to catch up on) and my water never went empty. I'd definitely go back.

Well this is my first yelp review and I'm happy to say it's going to be a negative one. I went to this place tonight before flying to vegas. I sat at the bar and the bartender spilled Ginger beer all over me. He barely apologized. I went ahead and stayed anyway. I ordered the yumchiladas. They were average. I was presented with a full bill. I expected at least a discount on my drink all things considered. Left upset. Won't be back. And my last name is Crane!
(2)Lisa R.
Had dinner here last night. The food was delicious and served quickly. Our waitress, Sarah, was on point and very friendly. I tried the Rusty Mary and a seasonal drink- both exceptional.

If you're easily swayed by a cool looking place thus blinded by the taste of food, this place is obviously for you. I came here with a group of 5 and the server had not arrived for over 15 minutes when we sat down. The host had to come and ask for our drink order. Then another 15 minutes later our server finally came by with our drink orders without an apology or hint of empathy towards the fact that we've been waiting 30 minutes. Great first impression. Not to mention the server's continuous failed attempts at corny jokes where its only true realized goal was to leave an air of awkwardness. Our food took over 30 minutes, we had to ask when our food was coming after he finally noticed all of our water was consumed. The server mentioned that they were having a big group so that's why it was taking longer - okay, I understand. But really, the restaurant wasn't even packed! He offered us chips and salsa which were completely stale. Cool. Our group had the Albert G's pulled pork which was dry and lacked any memorable flavor; pulled pork tacos which tasted just like the previously mentioned item but wrapped in a dry, crusty, hard "soft" tortilla; their "Sloppy Joe" which I forgot the actual name of but just make it at home cause the cheese was a slap of American cheese that was a poor attempt at melting it; some burger that turned out better than expected cause they seared it nicely; the nachos which was a concoction where one would only appreciate if one were drunk. Nothing was impressive except the musical notes the kids make when they stomp their way down the stairs like baby elephants. The food all tastes the same just in different forms: would you want it in a bun, taco, or on top of nachos? They'll sprinkle "Rusty Dust" on top of your food like it's supposed to be the next crack...but please. Foodies steer clear. We will not be coming back.

I'm sure on warmer days, the patio would be an awesome hangout spot. However, the day was cold and windy, so we herded inside for a quick lunch. The ambiance is a tad loud, probably because the interior is simply exposed wood, bricks, and concrete - not the best insulators. All the servers and staff were SO friendly, I was caught off guard. We were asked 4x if we had our drinks taken care of and consistently received smiles as we walked by. I ordered the cuban with sweet potato fries, which was deliCIOUS! The fries had a spicy kick to them, which my coworker nibbled off my plate when I wasn't looking. She ordered the quesadilla and said it was also yummy. We will be back!

This place looks very cool on the outside and is very inviting but don't let that fool you. We were quickly seated but then told that there was only one waitress. The hostess finally noticed we had been waiting for a while and did take our order. The food came out and all three plates had cold fries!! I specifically ordered something light so I could try the dessert called The Pyramids and ordered it at the end our meal. The waitress came back a few minutes later and said "sorry we are out of that". She then offered to bring me a brownie sundae and I was excited but it was missing the cherry and the 2 scoops of ice cream were larger than the brownie. It is wasn't bad as far as the taste of the food but I won't be going back. It may have been just a bad night because of low servers .

I have been for brunch and for dinner now and I will say dinner outweighs the brunch completely! So, the downside of brunch was that I got the "man-mosa" but honestly it was just orange juice, there was little to no fizz so I am glad I didn't pay a large amount of money for it! Second, the potatoes were less than what I expected from the RC. BUT the over all meal was good. However, dinner on the other hand was so so SO delicious, I got the ambassadors tacos and my boy friend got the paleo friendly burger with an egg. We both inhaled our food, I swear. IT was delicious and what I wouldn't do to know what's in theyre rusty dust!!! YUM. We also sat on the patio which give the perfect sunset, with the breeze in your hair downtown feel. Definitely will be going back when it cools off. But beware if the drillers have a game, get there early it gets busy busy!!!

How is it possible that I have lived in Tulsa for just over a year not and have only just discovered this place!? I had the pleasure of joining my buddy for her 21st birthday dinner here the other night. We walked in with a rather large group and were quickly seated. The place was happening - every table was sat, the patio was full up (it was a rare beautiful evening in Tulsa) and the World Series was playing on all of the TVs. I tried one of their in-house cocktails made with Dark - an Oklahoma produced coffee liqueur and it was great! I had some black bean tacos and they were great. Everyone else at the table enjoyed their food and walked out stuffed and happy. Pretty eclectic menu, lots of drink options and good service. I will definitely have to come back with my girlfriend when she is in town. I would love to sit outside on the patio and have dinner with her... great place for a casual date.

I just experienced the worst night of restaurant service in my life, by far. All things considered, we were extraordinarily polite. Several of our group were servers ourselves, so we were empathetic and excessively patient. I just wanted to give these guys the benefit of the doubt, but I think they screwed up everything they could have possibly screwed up. We came here with a group of 10 for a birthday party, having made reservations in advance. Apparently they did not take reservations for this night but neglected to tell us. It took 40 minutes to be seated. After being seated for 20 minutes, our server took drink orders for half of our group and did not return for another 20 minutes. The second half of our drinks took equally long. Yet another 30 minutes later, they finally came by to take our food orders. An hour later (literally an hour!!) they brought three of us our cold and soggy meals. Another 20 minutes before the rest of our meals came out (also cold). Half of our orders came out significantly incorrect. Hardly anyone finished their meals because it was all too salty, cold, and generally sub-par. You don't want to know how long it took us to get our checks and pay for the meal. All in all, we were held hostage at this restaurant for 3 1/2 hours!! During this time, water was refilled only twice. Our server apologized the cold food and said he would bring out some fresh fries and a manager. None of this actually happened. I am so disappointed in the poor service, bad food, and the total unapologetic attitude of the staff. What a crappy night.
(1)Gloria J.
Service could be better. Sweet potato fries are good and the drinks are reasonably priced. We had a bottle of wine for $20! We came here on a Monday night and it was busy. Nice casual place.
(4)Candice R.
This business has a great location. Their patio is superb. I went recently during a drillers game so we had the lovely noise of baseball in the background. We also got the added bonus of having a great view for the fireworks! The service isn't impressive, and hasn't been the last few times I've gone. The food however is great. I got a burger. My whole table got chips, queso, and salsa. Which was all wonderful. The sweet potato fries were delicious. We could've been checked on a little more often. Our drinks could've been refilled a little more promptly. I really like the food and location so most likely I'll be back again.
(3)Jill P.
I wish I could give a good review but even upon walking in we were made to feel like we didn't belong or know the secret handshake. Service was poor, food was mediocre, grand finale was a long hair in a drink and a major chip in another drinks glassware. I want to love this place but I need them to love me equally. Not sure I'll give a 4th try.
(1)Gary M.
I'm a sucker sandwiches (if I haven't mentioned before). I wanted the Chipotle Meatloaf at first, till I took another look at the menu & saw The Sloppy John. It's meatloaf grounded with chipotle & BBQ sauce, topped with mixed cheeses in-between a grilled buttery bun. It's incredible! It comes off as a Sloppy Joe when you first look at it, somewhat tastes like one as well. It was good. The sett potato fries were good as well. I think they were seasoned with Rusty Dust, which gave it a little kick. I'm coming back for that Chipotle Meatloaf, no question.

Ok... so, I know what you are thinking. "Just two stars?!!" Yes, only two stars. I have been to The Rusty Crane many times and I feel like they indeed are far too rusty. There is a great appeal to the restaurant (for me) because of the name, location and attractive design of the interior/exterior. I mean who does not love a good patio overlooking downtown and ONEOK stadium? The food is not terrible, but i feel it could be polished a bit. My main problem is with the service. The staff seem to not have an incredibly vast knowledge of the menu (bar and kitchen). Another example would be the following story: I was there with my boyfriend's family. He ordered a Tank 7. Side note: He has ordered the Tank 7 the last 3-4 times we have visited The Rusty Crane and it was served in a pint glass and was filled to the "pint" portion, EVERY TIME. This time he ordered the exact beer and it was served in a pint glass, but he was shorted about 2 or so ounces. No big deal. He went up to the bar to ask why this happened. The bartender was standing right in front of him, saw him and COMPLETELY ignored him He then walked away for about 30 seconds and came back and asked what my boyfriend wanted. He explained that it was not supposed to be served as a true pint and that it was not the proper glass. This is not specified in the menu. My boyfriend ended up saying he did not want the beer. Mainly because the bartender did not acknowledge his existence for what felt like an eternity. The bartender poured the beer out. Seriously, this would not be an issue if there was a little kindness given. I mean we are the customer. I am not trying to act entitled, but this situation makes me think about the other encounters I have experienced at this establishment. I ordered the Angry Orchard Apple Cider (from the menu) and received an the correct brand but the Ginger Apple Cider (not listed on the menu). I chose not to complain about this mistake. I will also re-think before I return. No doubt, some things need to change.
(2)Holly A.
What a great little place. The atmosphere is great for a gathering. Not too loud so you can hold a conversation. The kids are welcomed and the "kids" menu is not a rinky dink serving they give plenty of food to accommodate the deceiving appetites! I think it was called the cowboy queso and that was super yummy. I got the fish tacos for my lunch and there was a nice sized portion, I would have liked to have seen a little time spent to drain the excess moisture from the items in the tortillas so they didn't become so soggy. And maybe a better quality of flour tortillas. It had good flavor so not really a big complaint, just a suggestion. It's in a nice central location with a few things to do in close proximity

My work group came here on a Friday for lunch. This is only my second or third time to eat here. When I ask for a table for eight, the sassy male host replied "You came to a restaurant with a group of 8 and didn't call ahead?!" In shock fromm such a rude comment, I answered "Yes, we can go somewhere else if we need to" (now I wish we would have). Of course, he seated us immediately. There were plenty of tables. We ordered a couple of drinks, which took about 15 minutes, although we were seated right next to the bar. This should have been a red flag. But still, we proceed to order food. As the lunch went on the restaurant began to fill up. Many tables did not have food, including ours. After about 30 minutes, we asked the waitress about our orders, she assured us it would be out soon. Again, after 45 minutes we asked, she went to check. This delay was not due to the size of our group. No one in the restaurant was eating. Even the table next to us, with two people, did not have their order. One of my colleagues had to go back to work, so she quickly went to get his food to-go. After he received his food, after 1 hour of total wait time, we received our orders. Of course, some food was cold, we sent it back. The food was alright, but maybe just because we were all starving. When I asked the waitress why the food took so long, she assumed it was due to the new staff members. I don't buy it. My parents have had the same experience in their journeys to the Rusty Crane. Never in my life have I asked to see the manager at any establishment. This terrible performance called for the awkward conversation. However, it was not as awkward this time, because every table was asking to see her. Luckily, we got 50% off all the food. This should be an awesome restaurant. Great location, easy, good food, and good drinks. However, the Rusty Crane's appeal is decaying and I will not be going back any time soon.

This has been dubbed our favorite pre or post Drillers hangout! After a long day at work it is so rewarding to go to a place this popular that my kids like (and they don't mind the kids) to get a cold beer, chips and entrees before a game. The staff is always friendly and usually overfill our drinks. There's only been one or two times when the waitress/er has been slightly underdressed (the too cool for school look) and a bit short, but that was probably due to the crowds. My family's favorite place to sit is the elevator. Bottom line: good food reasonable price and served in a timely manner. Will return a bunch to get more of the "crane dust".
(4)Jarek C.
We stumbled on this place kind of by mistake and what a great mistake it was. We were welcomed with a very friendly staff. The music, coffee, and food were extraordinary. This will definitely be a place I will visit frequently.
(5)Bekah G.
Another place with potential for greatness. I have been here numerous times and I've got a grasp as to what the issue is. But let's start with what isn't: The food is great. It is definitely one of those places with a menu so versatile, everyone in the group will find something they like. They have tacos, sandwiches, burgers, and then different entrees like pasta and chicken. Appetizers are typical such as fries, white queso, wings, etc. Onto drinks. They have a full bar with multiple choices for beer and cocktails of their own. I've tried the drinks that peaked my interest, none were strong enough but that's to be expected I suppose. My favorite so far is their sangria. The patio is fantastic. It is large with different types of seating from outdoor couches to umbrella covered wooden tables. There is a great view of Oneok field and it's kind of a nice background to any meal you're having if a game is going. Also, I can usually find parking off the patio which is convenient. Now to the bummer...the service. I feel like a lot of the time here it isn't necessarily each individual but as a whole. They need more people, and for their kitchen NOT to be upstairs! It seems very inconvenient for them to check where food is and they take a long time doing anything because of the length of the walk. I've found that I typically don't even get to order until being there 30 minutes. I've asked for chips/salsa to hold me over sometimes because the wait is too long. I've had things forgotten on multiple occasions and usually the situation is handled nicely and respectfully, which I appreciate and is one of the reasons I give them the benefit of the doubt and return.
(3)Chris P.
I really enjoy the decor and the patio. They are rarely crowded and have some of the best wings in Tulsa. They'll let you order half done buffalo style and half done with their signature rusty seasoning.
(4)Chris A.
Um... D-. We came when it wasn't even busy. I ordered the pulled pork tacos with a side of jalapeños. The tortillas were very hard to chew because they had not been properly warmed and they didn't give me any cilantro. The chips were stale, and by the time they finally brought my jalapeños and cilantro I had somehow managed to eat that first leathery and bland taco. The sweet tea was gross like it had aspartame or something in it. They messed up my daughter's order and after they remade it, supposedly a server gave it to another customer. And the most annoying thing was that they literally played two different kinds of music the whole time! Why!? On a positive note, the bacon cheese fries were excellent. But still, you cannot unring that bell.
(2)Rodney M.
Absolutely fabulous service and meal. Watermelon Jalapeño Gazpacho topped with feta cheese is tha bomb! Holy smokes!!
(5)Crystal Diane D.
The positive side is that you can get cheap beer on game nights, The patio is amazing, and that menu covers a lot of ground, so there's plenty of options for a crowd. That said, the food is mediocre, and the service is even worse. Normally the only time I stop in, is if I'm riding my bike through downtown and I want to stop, chill out, and drink cheap beer. If you decide to give it a whirl, make sure you're not in a hurry.?
(2)Shaz B.
Okay, so I absolutely loved this spot. It's very hip and trendy with a great atmosphere, good food and nice people. Thankful to my co-worker who brought me out to this side of town (you know, the hip, gentrified part, which I love), because it was everything I want when I'm visiting/living somewhere. I will for sure be back; there's quite a few menu items I must try! We got there around 7 p.m. on a Thursday; it was relatively slow, but still had quite a few people and the music was great. We had a choice of either sitting out on the patio or inside, and since it was chilly out, we chose to sit inside. They have a private booth area, which we were offered and we declined. It's nice to sit out in the noisier part of the restaurant. Once we sat down, we were promptly asked for our drink orders. We decided to order the Macho Nacho as the appetizer (Yelp had great feedback on it, as did my co-worked!), then I decided to get the smack'n'cheese for my entree. Both were delicious! The nachos come with salsa, guacamole and sour cream, and they're completely loaded with veggies and chili. The smack'n'cheese was very simple, made with penne pasta, but still had a very eclectic taste to it, which I enjoyed. I didn't agree on paying $12 for that (and no meat), though. Overall, I'm surprised this place has a rating below 4 stars, because it's actually a very cool atmosphere. Our servers were also very helpful and quick. I suppose the service in other instances may have caused the ratings to drop a little, but I vouch for the service, the food and the fab atmosphere! Must. Try.

Not impressed.

Are you considering the Rusty Crane for your dining pleasure? I can make the decision really, REALLY easy for you. Do you know that awkward feeling you have internally when the service at a restaurant just isn't quite up to par? You know, that feeling when the group conversation has a small lull, you look at everyone's glass at the table, and they are rapidly approaching empty? Maybe it's prompted by the chip bowl, devoid of even the tiniest crumb of which to plunge into some delicious queso, after having asked for more? Say it isn't when the meal is taking a long time to come out and you begin to wonder, "Is it ready back there, lonely and getting cold?". Do you like that moment in time when, eventually, the culmination of several factors makes someone at the table ask "What's up with the service?"? No? Now you have your answer on whether to come to Rusty Crane. I try to like this place. I really do. I'd like nothing else than to see it succeed and be great; it could be an awesome place to hang out over some drinks, sit back on the patio, or catch a game. The food is good, and the menu vast. However, the last several times I've been there the trend is toward increasingly bad service. Sometimes bordering on terrible. My most recent visit, and sadly possibly my last, eventually elicited the response from my sister (a hospitality major) of "I kinda feel bad / embarrassed for the servers here.", purely out of the knowledge that our experience is probably typical, if history is anything to go on. To make matters worse, my last 2 visits haven't been during peak times -- far from it. A Sunday evening, with maybe 7 tables occupied. The most recent a Tuesday night, with a slight increase in occupancy. Their motto is 'Be Here', with an attitude towards ignoring the outside influences and distractions of things like cell phones, and enjoying the good food, drinks, and company around you. I'm sorry, Rusty Crane, but I can't 'Be Here' with the distraction of your terrible wait staff and bartenders.

As an out of towner, I walked to this place from my hotel. I had read the reviews which were a little better than mixed, with the greatest criticisms targeted at the service. Yes, while the front door is a little difficult to navigate, I did find my way in and had no problem finding a seat. Not that I was testing the service, but I committed the classic yet intentional faux pas of asking the server's advice to a customer who would surely only eat at the place once (only because Tulsa is hardly on my regular route to work). In turn, he earnestly reviewed the menu and made a few genuine suggestions. I went with his advice, because, indeed, he talked about the very items that I independently found most intriguing. "Rusty wings" have a strong flavor of coconut oil, and could use a little heat to balance them, but still a nice start. From there we moved to the turkey melt. Caramelized red onions, spinach on homemade bread; what could be a boring dish made exceptional. With it I I got the Mac n cheese side. Here's the hidden gem. Penne pasta with a light cream sauce, but mediated by a small serving of spinach. Ah, comfort food. To the service: I'm an old fart with zero charisma, yet the trio of servers all feigned the practiced attentiveness that petty bourgeoise old men like me appreciate. Social theater? Maybe, but I don't care. The food looked good, was served in a timely fashion, and made my one night I this town enjoyable.

I'm really torn on how many stars to give the Rusty Crane after my experience. We went and the restaurant was pretty empty. Our waitress was pretty cold the whole meal and sort of pushy about ordering appetizers and stuff. It took 10-15 minutes for me to get the bottle of beer I ordered even though it was sitting on the bar the entire time and she walked past it at least four or five times. Another server ended up bringing it to us. About 15 minutes after ordering our food, she came up to our table and asked if anyone had taken our order. She had been to the computer a few times and put in other tables orders at this point but had somehow lost ours and didn't have anything for our table so we had to order again. We finally got our food after having been there for half an hour or more. My boyfriend ordered a burger with an extra side of veggies in addition to the sweet potato fries it normally comes with, and he only got the veggies, no fries - but was charged full price for the extra side of veggies in addition to the burger. She said this was just an upcharge for substituting, but we had not wanted anything substituted nor had we been told about an upcharge in the first place. The charge ended up being taken off our check but it was still kind of strange. I am a server myself so I tend to give others the benefit of the doubt but we left pretty disappointed. We will definitely come back to try again and see if the service is better!

One of my favorite places for a black bean burger. Nice and tastey! Great drinks, cool place. They also have sweet potato fries which is quite delightful. Win

This place is terrible. The wait was insanely long. We were quoted 20 min and waited 50. The employees ignored us. The food took over an hour to get to the table and came out cold. The reason they gave us for this is because "the kitchen is upstairs and the dining room is down stairs." After we got our food we never saw our server again and had to flag someone down twice to get a check. No one thanked us for coming in. I'll never go back to this place. What a waste of time. Totally ruined our date night.

Stopped in for Sunday Brunch--simple yet delicious menu, reasonable prices, friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. No complaints about either of our meals. Would definitely return.
(5)Cayla L.
First off, the atmosphere is AWESOME. 5 stars for that alone. Looks like a great place for groups too. Very comfortable and fresh, casual but still felt slightly upscale. The food was... mediocre. We ordered queso which was very thick (but very tasty, a lot like sour cream sauce rather than queso) but solidified before we were done eating it. I ordered the pulled pork tacos. On the menu it listed avocado as an ingredient which was the main reason I got it. The food came out and there was a tiny piece on each one, not even enough to count. They, along with the black beans and rice side, were severely lacking in flavor. The "rusty dust" tastes a lot like fajita spice. Noticed on the menu several original options though. Whole almonds as a side and a bowl of CapN Crunch for dessert. That is extremely noteworthy. Really love that idea. Service was sub par but it was very busy (fortunately it was easy for us, a table of 2). There was a wait list but a small two-top had just opened. A very small table. We had to move the salt&pepper holder off the table to even have room for everything. Had to ask other servers for needed items often. Would return and probably order something else. Loved being inside, again, great atmosphere. Great part of town too.

Cool atmosphere. Great food. I really appreciate all of the vegetarian options! I really love the nachos. It's a fun place for lunch.

Wow not only is it beautiful to look at when you walk by, but the food is extremely good. Best I've had here during my visit to Tulsa. Visually the outdoor area to eat is where you'll probably want to eat verses the inside. Don't get me wrong, it looked great inside, but the weather was perfect. The inside looked a bit dark, but it was very spacious. Some restaurants crowd as many tables as possible. Rusty Crane used it's space effectively. We were greeted by the hostess and she was extremely friendly and was happy to seat us outside where we requested to be. The outdoor area is beautiful and pleasant. It definitely gives you a vibe that you can hang out here for a long time and enjoy yourself. The menu was very easy to read and the prices looked good. You can get a decent meal for about 10 dollars. It looked like they focused on texmex food with a twist, and your general comfort American food as well. Our waitress was very enthusiastic and gave a warm vibe. She answered any questions we had with no problem and checked on us at the right time. Not too intrusive, but aware if you need a refill or it looked like you needed assistance. I ordered just a hamburger with the pretzel bun and decided to have the sweet potato fries with it. The food came out in about 20-25 minutes, which is a little bit longer, but well worth it when the food does come out. The fries were seasoned perfect, and it was clear they are made and not out of a freezer. The burger was cooked the way I wanted it to be and the pretzel bun was amazing. Definitely made it to my top 5 places for a good burger. They had signs which looked like they were celebrating the first year opening. I truely hope this place lasts a long time as they offer meals at a good price with a great atmosphere.

Although I have only recently discovered this jewel, I have visited it on several occasions with friends and coworkers and have found the food to be excellent, always fresh and consistent. The Dr. Don's Tacos are something special and will keep me coming back. I have found the waitstaff attentive and engaging on each of my visits so am not sure where all of these negative comments are coming from. Being a former waiter myself, while working my way through school, I do know that the waitstaff/customer relationship is a 2-way street and as with any relationship, disrespect on one end will more than likely result in the same on the other.

I really dig The Rusty Crane. I've been frequenting the place since it opened and still visit regularly to sit at the bar and enjoy a meal or some cocktails in a great space. The owners and the entire staff are incredibly welcoming, attentive and friendly - so much so, that when my mother in law came into town to visit, my husband took her and she was floored that the owners came over on their own and chatted with them and asked her how she was enjoying Tulsa. Those extra efforts and care really make this place a stand out spot for me. If you've never been and enjoy sweeter cocktails, try the Driller's Firework for something fun (Pop Rocks! *Pew* *Pew* *Pew*). I've never had a bad experience here. I have one gripe, and one gripe only: The bar is made of cinder blocks under the bar top, and those can get pretty uncomfortable when they're up against your knees (I'm a tall person). Other than that, the food is solid (I usually order one of their salads or an appetizer or their Mango Fish Taco plate), and we've always been treated incredibly well. They have gluten free options on the menu for those with dietary concerns, and plenty of vegetarian options.
(5)Madelyn R.
Love the food, the waitstaff is awful. Service is always poor. And poor is generous, it's really god awful. Additionally, Tried to see if I could book my rehearsal dinner, they have a rental space upstairs, went there and looked at the space and spoke to the manager and gave him my contact information. Never heard back. Called and left 3 messages all never fit a callback. It's unfortunate really, great food awful awful management and waitstaff.

I've been to the Rusty Crane a couple of times now, and it's quickly becoming one of my favorite spots in Tulsa. The atmosphere is relaxed and hip and the decor has a very industrialist/modernist feel. They have great, local cold beer, and some delicious specialty drinks if you're willing to spend a little more. I like the Route 66 which has SoCo, orange juice and cranberry juice, and the Rusty Rita is stout and full of flavor. As starters go, it's Cowboy Queso all the way. Don't ask questions, just get it, and say thank you. I've had both the turkey bacon wrap (with fresh avocado and chipotle mayo - sign me up!) and the Hellstern burger which comes with all the traditional fixins on a pretzel bun. Friends that I have eaten with there highly recommend the mango fish tacos as well as the Signature Yumlada. I've yet to have a bad experience here - I went on a snowy day and they had a limited "snow day menu" which was still delicious! Can't wait to try out their beautiful patio with friends and a cold beer this summer!
(4)Ava E.
The food was good...I had a pulled pork sandwich with sweet potato fries...tasty! We also got the black bean hummus that came with bell peppers, cucumbers and fried flour tortilla chips. A lot of character in the building itself...loved the elevator shaft booth! Service was great, our waiter was very helpful.
(4)Maren C.
This is one of my favorite spots in Tulsa! Whenever we have friends from out of town we bring them here. Great ambiance, unique area of Tulsa and they are always playing great music. Might not be a big deal to most, but it's big deal to me. We love to start with the loaded crane fries and then follow it up with pretty much any entree. My favorites are : the yumlada, the fuster cluck, the blackened chicken pasta and the grilled turkey sandwich on a pretzel bun. Their sweet potato fries are crazy good. Get them with their house-made chipotle ranch. It's a great spot for parties or showers, too because they have a big upstairs room. Only complaint is that the food can be a tad slow if they're super busy.
(4)Heather C.
The place just keeps us coming back! Their mango fish tacos & sweet potato fries are out of this world. Always great service and atmosphere! Try the drillers firework! Patio is great for a night with friends!
(4)Stephen M.
Okay... I know this guy. Top-notch cook, excellent, service provider, and he genuinely loves every person he meets. What more can you ask for? The Rusty Crane is in a pre-eminent spot downtown--right next to the ball field and near Guthrie Green. So, yeah, fireworks almost nightly during ball-season and the food, fun, flavor, and atmosphere The Rusty Crane provides is the best!
(5)Rachel F.
Terrible service. Neither bartenders nor servers acknowledged our presence. Even when standing by the well at the bar, no one said hi or offered us a drink. When one of the bartenders left the bar and still didn't so much as look at us, we left. Will not return
(1)Jacob M.
Nice patio.
(2)Vivian C.
Really great find! This place just opened up downtown by the Drillers Stadium. It's a restaurant/bar that looks like a really great place to hang out, especially if you're going to a Drillers game. The decor has original industrial features which I absolutely love. The menu is more diverse than other bar restaurants you might see around town. The food did take quite a while to come out, but I think it's just about working out the kinks since they haven't been open very long. Definitely going to come back!
(4)Michael K.
We haven't received our entrees yet, but if it's as good as their chips and salsa, we're goners, for sure. It's a great, lively and loud place with lots of character. I'd definitely come back! And I'd have to wear a waistband that gives, too. :)
(5)Nate M.
Ordered the Black Bean Burger. It was probably one of the worst and most over priced meals I have had in Tulsa. The restaurant was empty and it took nearly 90 minutes from the time we sat down to get our food. An incredibly unimpressive dining experience. Thank goodness for great company!
(2)Mark D.
Love the atmosphere. The Ambassador (chicken tacos) fresh tasting, blackened on outside yummy. With black beans and rice. Yummy. Tried their sweet potato fries with red chili cilantro ranch-awesome And they have Pepsi. Recommend
(5)Randi B.
Cool little place with a good vibe. Dtown Tulsa on a Saturday afternoon is absolutely dead, this place won cause it was open. Server was cool, Sarah. Told us how to get to the center of the universe. Wings were average, chips and salsa and guac average, fries were not good. Service earned the 3 star rating.
(3)Crystal D.
Wow. This place is unique in so many ways; from the building, to the menu, to the location. We entered from the northeast side where there is a patio/deck and had to find the hostess area. The bar seemed like a cool place to just have drinks but since we were having dinner with friends we sat at a table. We weren't assigned a wait person so finally one of the waitresses took it upon herself to help our table. The food was great and it's just adjacent to the Drillers stadium within walking distance. I'm sure I'll go back again but I'll try to make reservations first.
(4)Brian B.
Food was pretty good. It was a mix of Latino/American food. Done very well. Service was pretty good considering we were a large group. Atmosphere is nice and allows for great conversation. Menu items were reasonably priced. Stop in for a meal.
(3)Josh H.
I loved the atmosphere and cocktails. The rusty Rita was nice and they had a good selection of beer. Just a super cool place, but the food was less than average. We had a large party and most left unhappy with the food - from burritos to sandwiches to tacos, nobody had anything positive to say on the food. The menu was random too. This place would be killer if they had better food. Get a new menu!
(2)Zena B.
The Rusty Crane's outdoor patio is one of a kind. It's large, comfortable, and just oh so inviting on a warm summer day. Also, it looks out to the ballpark which is really nice, especially on nights when they have fireworks. While I don't really love their cocktail list, they can really make anything you could want. They have a good beer selection and a few wines to choose from. The food is just fine for bar food. The yumlada is actually something that I crave from time to time. The service has always been a miss for me. Every single time we've visited something is really annoying about the service. From sitting at the bar for 15 minutes trying to flag down a bartender who is just organizing her glasses or from getting nearly yelled at when entering through the back door and asking the wrong person if a table is available (you have to head to the bar stand near the front entrance... please don't make the mistake of asking someone other than the person standing at the host stand for a table or you will likely get some serious attitude). The service has never really been positive here. It's funny because everyone else I've talked to about Rusty Crane has had similar experiences with the service. Overall, we will likely continue to visit Rusty Crane - the patio is just so wonderful and we'll keep our fingers crossed for our waiter/waitress/bartender to be in a good mood next time.
(3)Lisa E.
We came here for drinks and appetizers on a Friday night. I had been once before to eat dinner, but it had been a while. Let's just go with a pro/con list on this one. Pros: Service was great. Our waitress was very attentive throughout the night and kept our chip bowl full and refilled our salsa and queso when needed. Drinks were really good. Atmosphere was great. Cons:I think they should have a host stand on both ends of the restaurant. I feel like most people come in the back and have to walk all the way to the front to find the host. Drinks were pricy. And the $10 one I got, wasn't worth that much. Overall, it is a nice place to go and hang out and drink, but if I want more bang for my buck, I'll go somewhere else.
(4)Nathan G.
Excellent new restaurant in the downtown area. Great food and a really enjoyable atmosphere and dining experience! It has some great ambience that maintained the "factory feel" from what the building used to be.
(5)Jake A.
The food is okay at best, and the site is neat but the service never fails to be absolute crap. I have been 3 times and I won't be going again. Each time I have been I have had to wait a minimum of 15 minutes just to get water. The most recent time my appetizers and entries came at the same time and the appetizers were cold. If you want fun atmosphere, good sandwiches, and to actually be treated like you are breathing go to the Dilly Deli.
(2)Cody J.
The Rusty Crane is probably my favorite restaurant in Tulsa. I absolutely love the repurposed building, makes for an amazing atmosphere! The menu is very diverse and offers great food for any taste. My favorite lunch is the Turkey Bacon Wrap and my favorite dinner is a tie between The Hellstern Burger and The Signature. One of the best parts of The Rusty Crane is that it's affordable, most downtown restaurants that have as much class as The Rusty Crane are 2 to 3 times the price. In the few months The Rusty Crane has been open, I have visited almost a dozen times. I just can't stay away! When friends or family come into town, we now take them to The Rusty Crane to show them the great stuff Tulsa has to offer.
(5)Jill J.
We've been to Rusty Crane three times and haven't had very good experiences. The decor is awesome and love how they've remodeled the old building. However service has been terrible every time, even though we sat at the bar. One of those typical places where no one will make eye contact. The chicken yumlada was good, also nachos and mediterranean wrap were good. The black bean hummus is one of their specialties but it was bland and also priced at $11.99 for a small plate. They ran out of several beers at the bar. The last time we were there, we ended up leaving after appetizers because we couldn't get anyone's attention to order another drink or dinner. It was pretty ridiculous, you know, when you keep flagging people down and they seem irritated about it. Maybe it will turn into a nice downtown place and they certainly have a good location and decor. But need to employ people who have a mind for service. Just not one of my favorites based on our experiences so far.
(2)Ronda H.
I was so hoping to go here the other night. Checked online and their posted hours said they were open till 11p.m. Woot! Because I get off work at 10. So I headed over, pulling up at 10:40 and tried the door, and tried the door again. Checked to see if I was at the right place, yup I am. Is there another door I should go to? Nope. Nobody inside and lights are down. Guess they aren't open to 11. Not a happy camper when someplace isn't open when they say they will be. I checked in online just to verify I was indeed there at the time I said I was and that they were indeed NOT OPEN! I won't bother going back to see if they're open any other time. Not worth my effort. They just lost a potentially frequent customer and I'll tell everyone I know what happened to me.
(1)Dore A.
Was very hesitant to go after reading all the reviews if poor service, but we decided to go with the expectation of having to wait a lot. To our surprise the service was great! We had a very nice server and the food came oit quickly. Not only was our server nice but other servers checked in to make sure our experience was wonderful. Big kudos to the staff for turning it around! The food was really good. Very large servings. I highly recomend the mango coconut tilapia plate. Husband had the pulled pork which was really good. Also recommend the guacamole.
(4)Joey D.
Delicious food, fair prices for portions, awesome atmosphere. Staff could use a little work, but it's still new, they'll get it. Parking not too bad, and it will be awesome come baseball season! Quit reading, start eating!
(5)Brian E.
A good place to get a healthy lunch or a hip place to get a mixie in the evening. I've eaten here several times and not had anything that wasn't good. The spinach salad, the burger, the chicken breast and the weekend brunch specials are all delicious.
(4)Mike D.
I had the Yumalada. Man that was a lot of food. Delicious. I was travelling and dining alone and it was very comfortable,
(4)James Q.
Nice location... Good atmosphere and customer service... I would suggest the pulled pork tacos.
(4)Tulsa Z.
We've been coming here since the Crane opened and it is one of our "go to" spots where we start out, especially on the First Friday Arts Crawl in the Brady District. We've met the owner and know many of the staff by name. Jacob, the bartender, knows what kind of cocktail my wife likes and is knowledgeable about the many choices. We like the apps, especially the Cowboy Queso and Chicken Quesadillas. They have a great Tilapia meal and their wraps and sweet potato or Crane fries are great for lunch or dinner. They have a lunch special menu and though the seating is adequate with several large flat screens around, we usually sit at the bar because it's much easier to carry on a conversation. They rotate local artists' art work on the walls for sale (We've purchased a couple of great John Hammer paintings) and the outside deck is a great place to watch the fireworks Friday evenings which are fired off following Driller games at OneOK Field across the street.
(4)Natalie D.
The atmosphere is nice, lots of original art. They could lose the TVs and I wouldn't be hurt. The signature yumlata is pretty yummy.
(3)Dan J.
Visiting from Kansas City and The Rusty Crane was suggested by a business associate. Very unique industrial look. I do love the way the kept that old warehouse and industrial design but I was a bit disappointed with the food overall. Neat ideas but just didn't quite come through with the overall taste. The Dusty wings sounded so good on the menu but just had no pazazz! I did have a cocoanut tilapia taco that actually was really good but overall food was just fair. I think though with a bit of rework on what they have they will be a hit.
(3)Sarah S.
Love it's location. The mango jalapeno martini was good. The food was, meh. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't note worthy.
(2)Michael T.
I'd give this place a higher rating but the service is sh**! I've been here several times. Same story each time. Good food, unique drinks, decent beer selection, but poor, poor service.
(3)Jen S.
The Krusty Krab would probably be a better choice. Squidward, Patrick and SpongeBob would be better at running a restaurant than the rude, inattentive and poorly trained employees at the Rusty Crane. Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming away from this place!
(1)Lizette C.
The food is mediocre and overpriced but I agree you're paying for the atmosphere! We went in the winter but I look forward to trying out their patio during the spring time.
(3)Chad H.
Terrible service. Waited on our food for over an hour and we were one of the first in the restaurant. Apparently the order was lost but were never told until we had to ask. I ordered the smack and cheese with chicken. It was so bad. $13 for what looked like a kids meal. I wish I would have taken a picture to show how pathetic it was. Will never return and highly recommend not coming here.
(1)Lesley M.
We visited after a Brady District event, and waited ~30 minutes to be seated. The service was friendly but spotty, possibly still getting up and running. The menu was inventive overall with lots of good vegetarian options. Buffalo wings tasted like coconut oil. Pulled pork sandwich , spinach almond nachos, fish tacos and sweet potato fries were favorites. The industrial decor was modern and clean. Too many tvs in the bar for a place that has the motto "Be Here". We will visit again.
(3)Marci L.
Super cool atmosphere with great staff. Our waiter was super friendly and had great suggestions. Food is above average and we really like that it had a Mexican flavor, but tons if other kinds of good, too, for my friend who doesn't like Mexican. Oh, and they had live music tonight (nice surprise) and they were good! We stayed a little longer at the bar after dinner listening. Definitely check this place out
(4)Amy V.
The food was very good and unique as I like it. The drink I got was a holiday drink and terrible. I don't usually try those but decided to be festive this time and go for the s'mores concoction. I couldn't even choke it down so she traded me for a cheap beer and apologized. When the ticket came she didn't change the price from $8 or 9 to $4 so was a little disappointed there but didn't complain, because they were all very nice. The food was a little overpriced for the portion, but it seemed like good quality and a lot of time was spent preparing it. The restaurant was a little too spread out looking quite "clicky" but was clean and spacious. I'll give it another go soon, because I want to try a couple other items on the menu and liked the bar area as well.
(3)Kevin B.
Food and atmosphere were great. Good kids menu. Definitely will be back with just the wife or family. Next to the baseball stadium. Can eat inside or out. Worth the drive from South Tulsa.
(4)Timmy T.
Absolutely some of the worst food I have ever eaten . I tried everything on the table and it was all trash. If you enjoy Denny's and Village Inn, this is the place for you. Tulsa has a funny way of way over hyping any new restaurant . This one will be out of biz in 6 months.
(1)Jeff D.
Very good reasonably priced pulled pork sandwich, but also very overpriced not so good hot wings.
(3)Justin B.
Awesome industrial decor. Very friendly bartender and amazing pulled pork tacos!
(4)A W O L.
Great food and atmosphere. Lunchtime rush was managed professionally. Nice change to the big box restaurants. Welcome addition to the new downtown.
(5)Jeff A.
Great atmosphere, good food and good service. This will be a great place to watch fireworks at the ballpark.
(4)Michael W.
I went here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon and I was immediately impressed by the uniqueness of this place. Almost every piece of art on the wall is for sale and has the price next to the art. I ordered the chicken quesadillas and they were delicious. They were some of the best quesadillas I have ever had! The service was perfect and the amount of time it took for our food to come out after ordering. Absolutely no complaints, I will definitely be coming here more often. It will be a great place to come have a beer before or after the drillers games this summer, since it is only a block away from the baseball field.
(5)Robb H.
Awesome place. Very busy at lunch on a Friday but worth the wait. Our server got behind and the owner came out to refill drinks and check on us a few times. I highly recommend this restaurant.
(5)Jacob J.
You have to try the Rusty Wings! The best wings I have ever had. The Rusty Crane also has the best patio in Tulsa. Great people, great food.
(5)Stephanie S.
I went into this stop with low expectations, and feel a little ashamed of myself for doing so. This was my first trip to Tulsa and I was thinking "yaaaa, this is going to be underwhelming" however I was blown away and so glad the Rusty Crane was my first stop for culinary sustenance on my trip. It was a Tuesday evening and there was a great (albeit a little too loud) live band playing, awesome! The place is very industrial, off-street parking which is easy to come by, and has a wonderful interior displaying local art. The server was very friendly, helpful with suggestions and really nice! I didn't try them but they have some really fun mixed drinks with creative names. I had the mac n cheese special that came with a side salad and it was creamy delicious magic sprinkled with the fairy-dust of food, real bacon bits! Yum! Large portion, like $9, it was great! The salad was great really green fresh lettuce and veggies, and was really tasty. We had such a great time we came back for lunch before our flight that Friday! I had the ambassador tacos and they were so good! My only complaint with lunch was our server, although very nice, was slow and pretty over-worked (too many tables to cover for the lunch rush) and not very attentive, didn't refill water or that sort of thing, but nothing too bad. Everything is super fresh and you can taste it. Nothing is over cooked, overly oily/greasy and you can tell they put a lot of effort into the food. It is extremely well priced, great portions and deliciously fresh and fairly healthy! I would definitely recommend this stop!
(4)Brian B.
Menu was OK. Good variety. Service good. Didn't have to flag down waiter for refills, bill, etc. However, noise level over the top. Could not carry on conversation. We will not return for this reason alone, unless for outside seating when temperature more moderate.
(3)Chad F.
Ok, so if you our gonna Yelp about a restaurant @ least talk about the food. Ok enough of my rant. Cool, Industrial spot across the street from Drillers Stadium (Right Hand Field). Nice large out door patio skirts the parameter of this place. Came with wife and daughter: Here is what we had. App of the Rusty Crane Fries. I must say these fries where loaded with cheese, bacon bits, Jalapeños and dusted with rusty crane dust that just gave it that special little kick. It was served with what else... Ranch dressing. Daughter order a pulled pork sandwich that she said was pretty decent and came with sweat potato fires. Those she said where just ok. Wife order a very tasty burger! Loaded with all the goodies. Here side was tabulie. I tried the black bean veggie burger. it was served on a pretzel bun. Patty was freshly made, however the texture was like paste. This was not a highlight, took one bite and my daughter said it looks like cat crap. Well this little wise smart a@@ it the nail on the head. Waitress came back and commented that I must of not liked it. She said she tried it as well when the place 1st opened and she hated it. Well thanks for telling me now after I took a bite. I would have thought she would have @ least said let me get you something else. All in all the food was pretty good and will be back to try the wings. They have several selections @ lunch time of foods on the healthier side of the spectrum. Also have full dinner entrees as well. Steak, yumlatas, their take on enchiladas, Fish tacos (grilled) chicken sandwiches, burgers. Also have a decent kids menu as well. Prices seem to be pretty reasonable as well.

Had a great dinner here with a group of my friends. The specialty drinks were amazing. And everyone really enjoyed the rust wings.
