I hate leaving bad reviews for a good business, so please read the full review to understand my three stars and make an informed decision! The Flame Broiler is conveniently located just across from the Promenade mall of 41 St., with free parking. An inviting patio outside, combined with a fresh-looking storefront, presents well. Upon walking inside, the cleanliness and the vibe were two major plus points. The lady taking the orders was SUPER friendly and knowledgable. Unfortunately, when you go to eat somewhere, the food is usually the deciding factor in whether you return or not. I had "the works" plate, which comes with white meat chicken, angus beef, steamed veggies, and brown rice. Each component had an issue I couldn't look past. The rice and vegetables were undercooked. I couldn't even bite through one carrot piece, and I left the rice as it was still chewy. The angus beef an the chicken TASTED great, unfortunately you could tell they'd been under a heat lamp or similar for awhile, as they'd gotten too chewy to be considered fresh in my opinion. The overall taste of the food was nice, the place was incredibly clean, and so perhaps if you go during lunch or dinner rush the problems I outlined might not be there. I ate there at 8pm. Bottom line, if the food was fully cooked and fresh, this place would be a solid 4 stars for super friendly, fast service and clean and convenient location. So don't skip over it because of this review, it has received better reviews from others (which is why I chose it!).

I just had an amazing experience here. I had made a deposit in my bank account this morning and my bank app said the funds were available. So I stopped in and order lunch. Then my bank card was rejected. After calling the bank and being told that the bank app was lying to me and they hold funds for 24 hours. This wonderful place gave me the food anyway since I had no cash on me! They just told me to stop in and pay next time I was there. I can not believe people like this still exist. Granted it was just 15 dollars! But oh my god to treat me like that!? They've got a customer for life. And the food is always awesome!

Great service, fresh food, great sauce. The most noticeable aspect of the experience is the friendly service right from the start. It was my first time and the individual was very helpful in explaining their dishes. The food was ready reasonably soon, was well seasoned, and cooked perfectly. The "magic sauce" seems to be some combination of hoisin and soy sauce-delicious! Try the sauce, you'll be glad you did. After a good workout and you want some fresh healthy food at a good price, this is the place for you.

This place is great, very tasty reasonably priced food. It's even healthy and the staff is super nice.

The staff is so friendly and are quick at preparing the food. I really feel like I'm getting my money's worth here. The ingredients are fresh and healthy. The dining room is spacious and very clean. I like that this place is located right off of the interstate which makes it convenient for me to stop by when I'm driving through Tulsa. OKC needs a Flame Broiler!!!!

When I was driving through the streets of Tulsa, I thought I was hallucinating when I saw a Flame Broiler. I'm from Southern California aka the land of the Flame Broilers. Since I've been away from home for two weeks, I have been missing SoCal food a lot. I knew that I had to stop by Flame Broiler to get a taste of home. I got the half-and-half like I always do. The rice bowls here are always good and I guess relatively healthy. It was very nostalgic to be able to eat a chicken and beef bowl from FB while out here in Tulsa. However, on a small note, this Flame Broiler seems to have significantly smaller portion size than the Flame Broilers in SoCal (in SoCal, the meat is towered over the top of the bowl - to the point that the meat gets squished down when the lid is put on!) and the rice was a little bit more on the dry side here. I think that I'm being highly critical since I've been spoiled in California.

Flame Broiler is unique. It executes a simple plan deliciously and healthfully. The food here is great for a quick lunch and the service is spot on. As someone who tries to avoid carbs from time to time I like that you can skip the rice and add veggies instead. The magic sauce is great and the spicy sauce adds a nice kick! Perfect healthy lunch spot!

Hard to beat this place all the way around. The service was really good, the price was amazing & the wait time was basically nothing. I got a chicken, steak, mixed vegetables in a bed of rice that was really good.

This is an amazing place the beef was seasoned great! The chicken was moist! I I highly recommend eating here. The restaurant is VERY clean and the atmosphere is positive.

Somewhere, it is written that the best dishes are simple dishes. Where is that written, you ask? One sentence ago, here on Yelp. That's where. There is absolutely nothing hard to decipher or comprehend about the menu here. Beef. Chicken. Veggies. Rice. Here's the kicker...it's healthy AND delicious. Those two words rarely deserve to go in the same sentence. Sure, people use them, but let's be honest: health food sucks. It lacks all the salt, fat and sugar that makes us willing to punch our mothers for another bite. Yet, thanks to some weird, voodoo magic(sauce), the folks at The Flame Broiler have figured out how to make something genuinely good for us very, very, VERY scrumptious. I want to eat here every day, because not only is it tasty, it's filling. One bowl at lunch satisfies me until dinner. And, that's saying something coming from a 300 lb. man who knows exactly how he got to be this way(plenty if afternoon snacks). Speedy, friendly service every time I've gone there. And, they have a rewards program. Go here. Spend money. Eat well. Enjoy life(which will probably be longer the more you eat here. Not a bad trade off, if you ask me).

Another excellent place to eat ordered a Angus Beef Veggie bowl and the meat was tender and the vegetables fresh. The magic sauce made the food more flavorful. Good amount of portion for the price another 5 star in Tulsa a must try.

There's not many choices is simple but it's very healthy and delicious. I love their chicken bowl with brown rice and veggies And also I think it's at a fair price. Place is also very clean on weekdays.

For a fast food place this place is very good. Inside is clean and fresh. Very fast too.

Delicious! Healthy! Friendly staff! Reasonable prices! Clean, clean, clean! This place has become my go-to restaurant. Half and half with veggies on brown rice. Add some Magic Sauce and Hot Sauce! Delicious!
(5)Josh C.
This place keeps it simple and delicious. Everything they serve is great. I prefer the half and half, so i can try the best of both meat worlds.

I come here for lunch once or twice a week. Never disappointed. Solid value, Iowans get a works bowl.

I tried this restaurant today for lunch and was well pleased with the whole experience. There was not a large or noisy crowd and our food was prepared fast. I tried their regular chicken bowl with brown rice and green onions with a little of their magic sauce, it was delicious and filled me up. It has ample parking and plenty of seating while I was here. Overall a great place to eat.

It's great place to taste their meals! Awesome.

First time to eat here at the suggestion of one of my coworkers. It was a nice change from Panda Express. The menu choices are limited but what they have they prepare it well. You have a choice of chicken or beef and white or brown rice. The service is fast. My meal was ready before I even got my change out of my pocket.
(4)Daniel F.
The taste of the food is still wonderful, but there was a bunch of gristle in my beef plate tonight.

My husband and I visit this restaurant once a week. We're always looking for healthy eating options and saw that Flame Broiler has locations throughout the US and is new to the Tulsa area. There's not a lot of healthy options when eating out but we love the food here. It's cooked when you order it. Nutritional information is listed for just about every dish so it helps us keep track of our calories.

Finals week. No time to cook, but I can't feed my kid burgers and fries all week (or at all). A friend told me about this place. We'll see!

Went here for lunch and got the beef and chicken combo platter. There was so much food I was stuffed after eating it all. The side salad was fresh and so was the orange. The brown rice was cooked well, and the meat quite flavorful. It was a little bit salty but not too bad. The magic sauce is great, though the hot sauce did not taste good and was hardly hot at all. I will certainly come back though. But next time probably get a bowl instead of platter, as its a bit cheaper and not as much food. Great value for the money though.

Not a bad place overall. Very simple fare which I like. I typically get the half and half on white with a drink and it fills me up. Not much for all the Jesus music, I find it distracting while I am eating but the people are friendly enough. A good lunch or early dinner spot with something for most people.

This place has some rally great healthy dishes, I think the guy at the counter is the owner. He us always very friendly and really wants you to be happy with your visit.
(5)Oliver S.
Had the half and half with brown rice in a regular bowl. Very good food with a nice flavor. The magic sauce made it even better. Plenty of food, healthy at a reasonable price.

Very excellent and healthy food. Very fresh. Don't forget the magic sauce. The restaraunt is clean with a nice atmosphere. Employees are super friendly. I love this place!
