Many of my friends enjoy the brook so I am often forced here. However, I have rarely enjoyed eating here. Despite the mediocre food, there is always a huge wait for tables. After waiting 30-45 minutes, I feel like a 10 year old sitting in a low booth trying to look over the table. The menu includes "American" food. I have never been impressed by any item I have ordered (burgers, veggie burger, mac n cheese, wraps, salads, chicken). Why people rave about their overcooked velveeta mac n cheese boggles my mind. After a meal that leaves me feeling like I need a bypass and a nap, I leave and quickly realize that the awful smell of the place that I was so excited to leave has clung to my clothes and hair and will likely not leave for several days. Please save yourself some time and eat elsewhere.

Amazing food!! Amazing service!! Great atmosphere!! My favorite place in town! $3 glass of wine and Blvd Wheat beers all the time!

This place is one our favorites! The southwest chicken nachos are so good!! We've always had good experiences when eating here.

I called 5 mins before they opened and was greeted by John .. I was there 15 mum later (. 1105 am ) and it was ready .. The side salad is a meal for at least 3 ppl and the southwest nacho ( half portion ) was amazing .. Love this place . Fine in or to-go both worth the expectance ...

Great food, lots of TVs and a fun atmosphere. Huge portions that you can share with somebody. I love their burger and homemade fries, chicken salad, fajitas, queso, etc it's alllll good!

This is probably my most favorite comfort food place to go. The chicken is ultra crispy. Fries are perfect and the Mac and cheese is to die for. I usually have enough for a midnight snack to take home. The chicken is still crispy cold!

The buffalo chicken sandwich never disappoints. We often split the cheese fries, which are huge. Yes, portions are large!

I was bragging to my wife about how good this place was after I took my son to eat there one time. So we went as a family soon after. My daughter's wrap had a roach in it, and when the manager came to our table, he seemed dismissive, saying, "oh, it probably just came out of the salad bag." He offered to remake it and was surprised that we didn't want him to remake the wrap (probably to use the salad from the same roach bag) Yuck! He seemed unfazed and unconcerned about it. No apology. My wife lost her appetite, and we left disappointed. Will not be back.

A Tulsa Staple. Almost everything here is around $10 and the portions are huge. I always look over the menu, but the majority of time I end up getting the buffalo tenders with a side of loaded cheese fries. Everything's really tasty. They probably have the best veggie burger I've ever ordered. Drinks are great too. $3 Boulevard Wheats. Don't forget to try the Adult Cherry Limeade or their Mac N' Cheese. Great place to just hang out and get an appetizer to share or to order a meal that will last you at least another day. In fact, I still have my side of loaded cheese fries to eat from yesterday.

Fast service, good food and drinks, and big portions. My husband and I split a meal and still needed a to go box.

Let's start with the most important part, for me, customer service. They have a bunch of young girls working there and if you are a young single boy great! I like to go out with a group of people from church or where ever. Seems like when I show up with a diverse group of friends and family we all get weird looks. Especially some of our handicap friends. I don't like the overall experience of this place and will not return. The reason I won't return is because the food really isn't that great and some of our groups food came back cold. I'm just not satisfied. I've had better. But you don't have to take my word for it.

Great teamwork by the staff to keep your drink topped off every time. Has always been a good experience for us at reasonable prices. Be sure to try Southwest Chicken Nachos.

Writing a review of The Brook is a little bit difficult. My girlfriend has eaten here before with friends, but last night was my first time trying it. While the food was very good, I was not impressed with a few other aspects of my experience. If it were possible to give half star ratings, I would say that the current rating for The Brook of 3 1/2 stars would be a fair rating. We were seated immediately and the first of several servers (more on that later) greeted us fairly quickly. Although he wasn't super friendly or personable, he was quick with our drinks. I ordered a Mushroom Swiss Burger with Fries and my Girlfriend ordered a Buffalo Chicken Wrap with Macaroni. The food was pretty quick to come out to us and the portions were ENORMOUS. I could have only eaten maybe a third of my fries. Also, the only burgers on the menu are 1/2 lbs. patties which is a much larger portion of meat than I usually like to eat in one sitting. Everything tasted great and was freshly cooked. Through the course of our meal we counted five different servers who came to our table. One got our drinks, one got our food order, one delivered our food, one checked on us and got refills, and one was our cashier. I'm not sure if that is how things normally work, but it was really strange having someone new show up to our table each time. My main complaint about The Brook was the noise level. I have been to many Rock Concerts that were quieter than The Brook. I realize it is also a bar, but it was ridiculously loud. There were moments when I was almost at a full yell to my girlfriend across the table and we were still having difficulty hearing each other. All in all, the food was great but the service and atmosphere were lacking.

Everytime I go in there the service is so prompt and friendly. The food is above average but service is great. Call in orders are easy too unlike a lot of places.

The Brook is a mystery to me. It seems in all the years coming here, the one thing that remains consistent is inconsistency. I would say the service has been a 50/50 proposition. I have had fabulous servers and then servers as I had today. No personality, short on sincerity, like a robot going through motions, while they really do not like their jobs at all. If you love Bar Food Appetizers, they have some wonderful choices. The Hot Wings are incredibly large, served with a sauce to dip them and dressing. Nachos are fantastic. The Burgers are also well above average. However, if you want restaurant food, the Fish and Chips are oddly small Cod Chunks, cooked unevenly (maybe they were frozen at one point) and mushy in some places, cold in others. The fries are excellent when brought to the table hot, not so much when reheated or served warm. Overall, if you stick to what they do well, they have great Bar/Pub Food. If you want a quality, restaurant experience they fall short. If you compare them to a couple other Neighborhood Pub style Restaurants you will find they don't match up.

Hands down the best cheese fries I've ever had! The half order is huge, no need to order the full size. I always have left overs just sharing the half size with one other person. Mac and cheese is also amazing! Super creamy! Can get busy on weekends, is better to go during the week when less busy.

Food 5, atmosphere and service 3. The grease smell when we got out of the car really turned me off. It took 3 people to get us seated with menus. The seat was very soft and sunk so much I felt like a little kid at the table. The noise was so loud, there was no talking to my husband. The crash of dishes from the kitchen kept me from settling in, I had to keep ready for the next scare. It took 3 servers to take, deliver the order and check on us while we were there. I was facing a muted TV with sports analysts silently screaming at each other. Now that all the whining done, my mushroom Swiss burger was juicy and delicious, although no pink means no pink. I really liked the BBQ sauce on the HB. My husband liked his 1/2 pounder. The fries were good with nice seasoning, although, I did add salt. I have leftovers for another meal! Probably will not go back, even though I liked the HB and FF.

Just wanted to update my review to say how disappointed I was that The Brook now charges a "to-go fee" on takeout orders. After our previous issues with being overcharged on tax, this may be the last straw. Too bad because I really like their food.
(3)Richard R.
The food was good, the portions were good, and the service was good. This place was simply vanilla, nothing that stood out too much good or bad. My only real complaint is that there was a game on I wanted to see and the TVs were so small it was impossible. We shared an appetizer withFriends and it was quite good. I feel like it was priced competitively so this is the place we will probably visit again and it's worth a try if you're in the area.

We've been fairly regular customers for several years, but haven't been to this location since this past May. We decided to grab an early dinner yesterday around 4pm. While the place was nearly empty, we waited several minutes before someone asked us what we wanted to drink. I asked for a sweetened tea, and she ordered a soda. For the meals, she ordered the beef nachos, and I asked for the cod sandwich with fries My $2.25 tea was packed with ice and barely sweetened. I asked for another with far less ice and some brewed tea. The waitress was nice, apologized and brought me another tea in a few minutes - it had less ice, but was still just as weak. Our meals arrived in good time, around 10 minutes. Man, were we disappointed. Her $9.95 nachos were much smaller and fewer than the last time she had them, with about 1/3 less beef and they were covered with greasy, less tasty cheese. My cod sandwich for $9.95 was puny. The sandwich had two small and very thin fillets, with far fewer over-salted fries on the side. The fillets didn't taste bad, they were warm - maybe they just shrunk! When the waitress came back to check on things, we told her that we were a bit disappointed with the nachos and the size of the cod fillets, and the small portion of fries. She asked if we wanted more fries or wanted to talk someone about things, and we said no but asked her to pass our comments along - she said she would, but no one ever came by before we left. This used to be one of our favorite places for a casual lunch or early dinner. We probably should have gone to Fish Daddy's or Cheddar's for better quality food and value, lesson learned!

Food was ok. We had wings, cheddar fries and my wife gas the chicken fried chicken. Service was ehhh. This is a great place fir drinks after work but not a place for a date nite with the wife.

The Brook is one of two places you can find me after a long hard work week (shhh don't tell). Never disappoints and we always leave happy. We have been going here for about fifteen years, started with them at the original location in Brookside. My favorites are the southwest nachos and the southwest wrap with fries. These are not your typical dry chips with a few toppings thrown on top, each chip is individually topped and like all the menu items you get plenty! The southwest salad is awesome too, and the buffalo wrap! The beer is ice cold and the staff are friendly and fast! Come hang out and catch your favorite game sometime.

Best loaded cheese fries EVER. The staff here is always so nice and attentive.

We usually eat at the Brook in Midtown but were in south Tulsa so we tried the 91st Street location. They need to send some of their great Midtown wait staff to 91st to teach them how to properly wait on customers. The food was good, but we had 3 different people waiting on us and none of them were much good. We were very disappointed. If I want a Brook meal, I'll go to Midtown.

American food at it's finest. Decent burgers, great guacamole, if your into that kind of thing, and the best damn mashed potatoes I've ever tasted. Hands down. Their fries could stand to be re-imagined. But, for the money, you get a great meal, a good atmosphere(better at the one on Brookside that actually used to be a movie theatre) and excellent service. You'd want to take a date here...but avoid the mashed taters if you do, as eating them will take all your focus from her and that could wind up making you go home with just a goodnight kiss, if she's feeling generous. All in all, you'll be very satisfied with the Brook.

Visiting Tulsa and asked the hotel for a fun local place to eat. This place was horrible! I ordered a chicken Caesar wrap last night an bit into a huge hunk of METAL! The manager said "not to worry; it is just the top from the tube of anchovy paste used to make the dressing." Then he couldn't understand why I didn't want anything to eat anything else! Rude manager and horrible experience!

I was expecting a little more out of this place. I don't know why, I suppose all the hype. I've been here twice and both times service was good. I ordered a blackened chicken wrap and mac & cheese the first time. It was tasty but nothing special and the mac & cheese is just velveeta shells and cheese. so EH! I'd rather have REAL mac & cheese then a boxed crap I can buy and make myself. The second time that I tried the Brook I had a grilled chicken wrap and chips and salsa. STEAR CLEAR OF THE SALSA! Now, I am a garlic LOVER and i put it in anything I can but this was bad! The salsa had so much garlic in it that it tasted really horrible. I don't know that I'll be back here again inless its for a seat at the bar- I have yet to try their drinks. Who knows- they might be worth it.

Best cheese fries in town!!! Had the southwest nachos to start a Swiss andyshroom burger with a side of cheese fries. So much food for a great price! This location is a great family friendly spot' love it!!'

The Brook is a good place to meet friends and have a good meal. I don't know of any menu item that I don't like.
