Went here for my girlfriend's bday dinner, now my ex. I love the fact that they have a gluten free menu...I find it to be funny for some reason. I'm a health conscience person so any opportunity I get to enjoy my food without worrying too much about what is going into my body, I'll take it haha. Service was great. We had a good size party and our servers were spot on. The food here is good, even though its not authentic. Just because it's NOT authentic, overpriced Americanized-Chinese food can still be good sometimes. Overall it was A-OK

If you didn't know the PF stands for Peter Fleming, the restauranteur who started Flemings Steak House. Sorry, but this is not authentic Chinese food, it's the TGI Friday of Chinese. Yuck.

this place is the definition of ridiculously overpriced "panda express" quality food in a fancy-type setting. there you have it! If you think the food here is good, you would probably orgasm if you go to an authentic Chinese/Asian restaurant.

We don't have a PF Changs in NYC and I always make a point of going when I visit a city that has one. The food is not authentic, but let's face it, most Chinese food that we grew up with is Americanized. Unlike many of those places, however, this food comes from high-quality ingredients, doesn't contain MSG, and doesn't make me feel sick afterwards. I am wildly in love with their hot and sour soup and their orange peel shrimp.

Ordered the Sesame Chicken and Fried Rice. The Sesame Chicken tasted really good but came with a very small portion of steamed rice. The Fried Rice was okay but could use improvement. I'm from the San Francisco Bay Area so good Chinese food is common out there. When it comes to Chinese fried rice, I'm used to it being fluffy. This fried rice lacked flavor and was kind of sticky/clumpy. I've yet to find good fried rice in Oklahoma. :-(

There's not much to say but it's a brilliant place with magnificent food and great service. Bit pricey though. But that's not a reason not to go.

We sat at the bar as usual for lunch! Service was fast and efficient! Loved the new summer menu! Lots of lite and inexpensive ideas! Grilled Prawns with chilled peanut noodle sauce was one of the best dishes I've eaten here!

Very impressed with the service and food. Our waitress Tasha helped me find the perfect meal. She was very helpful and knew what she was talking about. I loved the food!!! Thanks for making my experience wonderful, Tasha!

My husband and I always get stuck at the 2 person table right next to the giant statue (on either side of the dining room) even if we make reservations. It's not like we normally go when it's super busy either, there are other tables open but we always get stuck in the same spot. One time when we were sat at the small table we asked if we could be sat somewhere else and they said all of the tables were reserved (we were one of maybe 3 couples in there at the time) but they reluctantly sat us at a 4 chaired table - this was around 3pm on a Thursday. 5 or so minutes later a "soccer mom" and her Juicy Couture dressed kid walked in and said they didn't have reservations and they were sat in a giant 6 person booth - no one else joined them, they had that giant booth to themselves. Maybe they bribed the hostess, I dunno, the hostesses are super snooty - i'm not getting into that right now. Thankfully the food has always been good even though the overall service has been bad. Love the hot fish, the honey chicken, and the banana springrolls for dessert are amazing! I recommend savings your money and going to Pei Wei - it's owned by PF Chang's so it's the same food, but a smaller menu, in a casual atmosphere. And no snooty hostesses or waiters to tip!

I've eaten here a few times already and on this recent occasion, I ordered this eggplant dish and had to return it because it was undercooked. So my waiter brought me another plate of the same thing. When I tasted it, it was frigging burnt! This is an occasional thing so I still recommend it. Our waiter took the plate off of our tab to make up for it and she was also very good at her job. I give the waitress (Jordan), 5 stars but the food was horrible tonight (and it's a Saturday too).

This is my absolute favorite place to go! I love the romantic atmosphere, the decor, the huge horses outside and of course the food! I have been there numerous times and I have never had a bad experience. The staff are all friendly and professional and never leave you empty. They keep your drinks full without bugging you. The food is awesome. It's not too expensive at all for what you get and the portions are big. And they also have outdoor seating with heaters! If going on a Friday or Saturday consider making reservations. It's also in a classy part of Tulsa and since I love to dress up it's just another reason I love to go there!

Ok ok it's not authentic. Who cares? What it is: delicious Asian-inspired food, served in a gorgeous restaurant by the best waiters I've ever had outside of an actual 5 star restaurant. I'll take it, especially with most entrees under $20. I love this particular location better than other PF Chang's as it is large with a really luxurious feel. Its location within Utica Square shopping district is an added bonus.

Okay, were in Tulsa...gotta eat steak, right? Wrong, or is that wong? Just go to PF Changs and have delicious, big portions and enjoy the ambiance. Noisy as all get out, but at least it's not freakin' steak! Debbie was a fantastic waitron and remembered us later that week when we went back for cocktails. We ordered for 9 people and shared chicken, beef, pork, vegetable dishes and ordered the lettuce wraps too. Simply delicious.

PF Changs has a nice atmosphere and good quality food.... Unfortunately the quality of the food you receive versus the price you pay do not equate. The style of food here is very Americanized, and there is nothing wrong with that if that is what you are looking for. However, there are many other more authentic places in town that taste better for a lower price.

  • lisa g.

Sorry, I'm not a fan. I have found that everything on the menu tastes the same. I get much better Chinese food at Szechuan Express at 51st & Memorial for about 1/4 of the price. I think you are paying for the location and expensive building when you go to PF Chang's.

  • Michael M.

You've got to have little or no imagination to enjoy PF Chang's--Tulsa has much better Asian restaurants like Lanna Thai or Ri Le's and at more affordable prices. I recommend it only when the others are closed. Chang's food is excruciatingly bland, gimmicky, and over-priced--it has all the trappings of a franchise restaurant. Keep in mind you're paying more for the decor and table rental than you are for your meal.

Lo mein - Theirs is the best. For some reason no one except Changs actually fries their Lo mein anymore.

Great food and service. A typical excellent PF Chang experience. Food is always delicious and consistent. We had chicken lettuce wrap starter and it was brought quickly, along with soup and drinks from the bar. Mongolian beef and Sweet Sour pork was really good and the kids loved their meals like always. ;) Great fast early dinner. Thank you!

I have dined at the P.F. Chang's Cafe in the past, and it is always a lovely and elegant experience, but on this most recent visit, I felt more welcomed by the staff, in general, and that the service was more gracious than ever. I had my four year-old daughter with me as we were dressed for The Nutcracker ballet and I wanted a special lunch spot beforehand. I made a reservation a few days prior. When we arrived, the staff addressed my daughter and complimented her on her dress. They intentionally sat us at a table with the "special" chairs and offered her cushions to make the chair more comfortable "for a princess." It was not on the menu, but our server offered several child

My husband & I went there for happy hour & appetizers last night. We had a great experience sitting at the bar. We love the atmosphere here & go there often. The bartender/waiter put our order in, but somehow the kitchen forgot our ahi tuna w/avocado appetizer, so when i alerted the bartender, i just said we weren't going to be able to eat it anyway, so just take it off the ticket for us. The manager came out, apologized, then gave us 2 free appetizer cards to return again, then the bartender removed my (delicious) dirty martini off the bill! What a surprise and so generous of them to do that. Of course we will return, not only because we love the food (we had the orange/ginger edamame, salt/pepper calamari & jicama (w/pork) street tacos--but also because of the fantastic customer service! . All of it was perfect and delivered quickly.

The food was good but I ordered a watered down sangria. The second I ordered was with no ice and received about 3 oz of liquid in a huge wine glass. 16.00 for 6 oz of wine is not worth the money. The waitress told the manager of my grievance and the manager just wanted to charge me double for a full glass.

Really good for a chain restaurant. But let's face it, the bar is pretty low when it comes to Asian restaurants as a whole. Great place for a large family style gathering / celebration.

Maybe it was what we ordered. Hubby & I had been in meetings all afternoon, we were tired, hungry & needed immediate gratification. It's our 'hood, so we popped by since we hadn't been for some time. ( but during relatively recent remodeling we made Pei Wei in Brookside our go to when the kitchen was torn up, challenging each other that we'd mix it up to try everything, every which way on their menu till it was exhausted. Need to go again and review) It was right at 5:00 & we were surprised that so many groups were already there. Spread out, but populating. And as soon as we were seated, the place was inundated. By 630, no breathing room. A lot of men in baseball caps. I'm sure you tire of hearing about it, but when did this get to be okay? And eating in them! I know this is a chain, but didn't it use to be a **little** more upscale? We discovered the 4 course Prix Fixe & went for it. There was a mistake in the beginning, it was like no one knew who was waiting what table. We had started with the lettuce wraps & while we were in the middle of enjoying them, another waiter tried to deliver our soup. No. We weren't ready & you're not our waiter. Saw him later waiting nearby tables. Our waitress arrived appropriately with our hot and sour soup. I agree with another reviewer that it was pretty . . . Tasteless. I added vinegar & hubby agreed that it helped. (I'm going to add a note here that you will no doubt find surprising. The best hot/ sour soup we've ever had was at that "out east Tulsa" buffet called Panda Bear. Not even sure if it's still there. But I'd go for that soup. If like back-in-the-day.) For entrées we ordered orange peel shrimp & Changs spicy chicken. Hubby was unhappy as "in the old days" before recession & everything going to hell, remember they use to arrive at your table with various sauces they'd mix to your liking? Back when, to me, it seemed more upscale. So he asked. And his wishes were fulfilled. Our waitress brought him the full array of accoutrements. And no one messes up Spicy Chicken, so he was fairly happy. I'd never had orange peel shrimp. But orange peel everything else I've had I'd liked. What arrived did not look like the pictures. The shrimp was rather bland. Wok fired? Hmmm. The fresh orange sets did not work for me. The shrimp did not look "fired in chili sauce" at all. One needed to hunt for the orange peel. BUT, when you could get a bite of shrimp & peel & some daikon (not much. I have one pix I'll try to upload from a real computer to compare to their pix), it was awesome. I had a couple left-over bites next day for lunch & that was all I could handle. The booth next to us, arriving right behind us, was a young family. Guy in baseball cap & Kansas City Chiefs shirt, wife, baby & two toddlers. They had their hands full & I couldn't help but notice they (he, in particular) kept anxiously looking for their-- our waitress. Cute baby. Dessert choice was the wonton thing. Hubby ordered the raspberry chocolate & it was nothing short of a disaster. My notes say "melted something inside & drizzled with that sauce: ick". When our waitress had a moment, & I don't know how she did, she was very informative. She said she also works in the kitchen & that everything's made fresh everyday & what's leftover is given to the food bank. Applause for that!

If you are looking for a great meal to impress that special someone (while not breaking your wallet) or just taking the Mrs. On a great night out this is your place. However if you like it quieter I'd suggest going during dinner hours. The lunch rush is a bit noisy and sometimes it seems the staff is overwhelmed however they still give top notch service. They are attentive and very polite. While it was hard for me to peel my gaze from the beautiful woman sitting in front of me. Once I did The appetizers came out in a timely manner and don't disappoint the chicken wraps are a melody of chicken vegetables and crispy fried fluffed rice noodles that you wrap in a chilled iceberg leaf and the mild sauce it come with is just divine. The main course followed in a timely manner as not to impose on the appetizer. The food again nice and hot. The crisp vegetables noodle rice and shrimp of the Singapore noodle dish all cooked to perfection by the chefs here. Our daughter enjoyed her children's fried rice ( which I did have to take a bite) the rice was perfectly cooked it wasn't soggy or under cooked like so many places do. It wasn't over powering with soy sauce flavor and the chicken cut small enough that she could feed her self (she's 3) while the wife and I indulged in conversation of the day. To me the experience in itself is enjoyable the music is upbeat and help to build to the atmosphere that is already quaint and enjoyable from the mural hanging over the bar to the Tera cotta statues standing guard at both ends of the Resturant. The lighting is great not too harsh on the eyes, mild lighting at dinner ,they light the candles on the table and that helps to set the mood even more so with that oh so special person. Over all I give PF Changs a 5 out 5 star because everything was enjoyable for our night out even if the food is non traditional Chinese food and no I'm not meaning the buffets you stop around town and stuff your self on till you hurt but the real cuisine from that country that have tons of vegetable and herbs and very little meats. And enjoyed with friends and family.

I really enjoyed the salad before dinner. It was refreshing. The Ginger Peach Tea awesome. We started our meal with crab wontons. They were delicious! For our main course, we both got Sweet-sour chicken. It was very good, but not outstanding. The wall of chocolate was very good, but way too much even for two people. Our server was not as efficient as I would have liked, but perhaps it was a bad day. Expect a large bill as this is not an inexpensive restaurant! Will I go back? Yes. And I will definitely try some other entrees. All in all, it was a good meal.

I have been to this location a few times since I have moved here. I have been to PF Changs multiple times in general at locations all over the country. I like the food here because its delicious and a good place to get chinese with people that is not take out. Only down part is that everything they make here is so high in calories it makes me die a little inside. When I was here for new years eve I knew it was going to be busy. That is why I made a reservation in advanced to ensure I would not have to wait and all my friends would be able to get what they wanted. I showed up 30 minutes before my reservation and ended up waiting an hour past my time I had scheduled. I mean I know it was a holiday, but if I am going to wait an hour or more I dont know why I would bother doing that. When we finally got to our table the manager did give us free appetizers for the table, but lettuce wraps can only fix the problem so much. The other times I have been here it was not as bad, which is why I keep coming back. The service normally is great and the food is always up to my standards. Just try to avoid going on holidays or weekends and if you do make a reservation. The last time I was here they had the new summer menu, and i tried something new. The asian chicken noodle soup was AMAZING! my favorite dish you can get and you dont feel completely like fat lard when you leave

Great Asian food with very welcoming and competent service. The Beef a la Szechuan contains some incredibly tasty crispy beef! That said, everything is a bit overpriced with the average entrée ~$15 and even salads ~$13. Be prepared for a large family bill.

  • Drew B.

So it's not 100% the real deal but it is more upscale dining and pretty decent prices. All that in mind I must admit that I enjoy it quite a bit. They have a nice setup. It can be a little loud and the lines are dinner are hit and miss. Some days you walk right in and get seated, other days you will be waiting an hour. The food has never disappointed, and the service is always attentive too. They have a full bar and they offer some unique things as well. Finding quinoa on the menu was a surprise, had just tried it for the first time recently and theirs was fantastic as well. Made for an interesting alternative to the usual brown or white rice that they serve as a side.

Very disappointing. Pad Thai was bland, sushi roll was tiny for $13, service started out OK then dropped off. I used to like PF Chang but with the new menu and changes I don't plan to go back.

Only reason I came here with my family was because we had a gift card. If I actually had to PAY for this food? No. Good: - Server was attentive. - Nice ambiance. Bad: - Giving us dirty dishes. - The food. If you're Asian, you know this isn't real Chinese food. This is more like a stepping-stone-Chinese-food-restaurant for people who aren't brave enough to have real Chinese food, but want to seem cultured and sophisticated in their food tastes. The hot and sour soup was disgusting. It tasted like thickened soy sauce soup. The brown rice was dry. If you want REAL Chinese food, go to local/non-chain restaurants like Mandarin Taste.

  • Alayna D.

Here's the deal about P.F. Chang's y'all. The food is nothing to write home about. Don't get me wrong, it's not not awful or anything! I just very much prefer other Asian non-chain restaurants, or cooking my own Asian style food at home. Every experience I've had at P.F. Chang's has just been a tad underwhelming. They make it seem like a very fancy establishment, but it is really not even as good as your typical takeout Chinese. The one redeeming item that P.F. Changs has going for it is the lettuce wraps. They're pretty yummy and always satisfying. But when I was living in my sorority house in college, my house mom's lettuce wraps could definitely beat out P.F. Chang's in a lettuce wrap battle. If you're looking to have a nice night out, go to Flemmings. Not this subpar Asian chain. (PS Flemmings and P.F. Changs have the same owner! Who knew that the P.F. Stands for Paul Flemming?!? Crazy, I know. Especially since Flemmings is one million times better). If you're looking for Americanized Asian good go to Pei Wei :)

Good food. The lettuce wraps and crab wonton are absolutely delicious. But they definitely are an overpriced establishment. The quality makes it slightly worth it but you do not get the quantity you should be.

I always enjoy going to P F Chang's! The food is excellent and so is the service. One of my go-to favorites is the Mongolian Beef which I highly recommend. I'm really disappointed they discontinued my favorite dish which was the Wok Seared Lamb. I hope they bring it back! Great atmosphere and great for special occasions!

  • Brenda L.

Worst service ever. We had to wait 40 minutes for our food... Just to get some chicken... The workers said that it'd take 4 mins for it to be done, but they lied. If you're going to close at 10, then keep some food ready until closing time. They are so unprepared, and this Panda Express does not know how to run a store. They had 10 orders, and a worker wanted to go on break while one other person was running the lobby. This is the WORST Panda Express I have ever been to. I'm not exaggerating. The workers were even having arguments and had to take our order 4 times cause other people were talking to him. Never coming here again, it was a COMPLETE waste of time. They did not even apologize for the long wait.

For the first visit in a while this location didn't fail to impress. Their was about an hour wait so the fiancé and I decided to sit at the bar. Was gonna wait for a table, but the lady behind the bar was so nice that we decided to end up eating at the bar. The lettuce wraps were delicious, especially with a special sauce that the chef made that came with. The fried rice wasn't as good as I remember, but they definitely gave us plenty of food to have for left overs which I wasn't disappointed with at all.

I absolutely love this place. Great food, fantastic service, good environment. I asked the manager tonight why there isn't a 1/2 order or single size portion for the fried green beans, and he indicates that you can order it... Which the server didn't indicate; but now I know! Love this place.

  • Megan M.

I love their chicken lettuce wraps! So good. It is expensive...but I go here for special occasions or if I have a gift card. The service is good, the pop tastes good, and the food is good. I would definitely recommend it, if you're not on a budget! I can easily spend about 45 to 50+ dollars for only two people. But they do give you a lot of food. I always have leftovers for lunch the next day.

I went with a work group yesterday, but have been numerous times. The service was, as usual, terrific. The food, from appetizers to entrees, was excellent as usual. The only knock I ever have on Changs is the soup. I like good soup, and theirs isn't good. It's downright bad. It s a small complaint really when compared with everything else. PF Changs is one of our family favorites, and I don't see that changing any time soon. I know it isn't authentic Chinese as some on here have complained - but I'm not going to have authentic Chinese food, I'm going to have good food and great service - and they always deliver.

Best Asian food around. And you cant beat the service and staff!!! Great wine selections and cocktails. I order the Moo Goo Gui Pan and my wife loves the orange chicken and the great wall of chocolate.

I wish I could give Chang's more stars because I've loved their food forever but the last several times I've been in to pick up to go food the service has been abysmal. It takes way too long and my order is rarely correct. Very disappointed.

Our second time visit. First time is when I was carboloading for a marathon race for the next day. I love, LOVE everything about this place, the cool vibe atmostphere to the food presentation, well done! Not the cheapest if you ask me, but well worth it.

We always enjoy a dinner here. Food is great, service is usually superb. The wait can get a little long on weekends, but there's always usually a wait at good places. We like the 4 course meal for two for $39.95. Their Hot & Sour soup is killer and we love the lettuce wraps. Mrs Eva likes more traditional and less spicy chicken dishes and I like the hot and spicy Kung Pao type meals so we can both have what we want while saving a little over ordering ala carte. The little lemon dessert is delicious. We'll be back often.

  • Eric B.

Very disappointing. Egg rolls were just About the worse I've ever had... I'm sure the were cooked in the past and reheated. PadTi was ok at best . BBQ short ribs were under cooked and the meat tough as a boot. I'm being generous give this place a 2. Other Asian fusion places in town that are much much better.

The atmosphere here is lovely. Our waitress was Cecily and it only took her a few minutes to realize that we were going to be verrrryyyy sloooowwwww. So she timed the dishes very well! I liked her a lot. We ordered off the dinner for two menu. First we had the egg drop soup and the sweet and sour soup. The egg drop was tasty, and the sweet and sour was... different. I'm not sure if I liked it but there wasn't anything wrong with it so that's just my taste buds that are being picky. Then we had the lettuce wraps... YES!!! NOM NOM NOM. They're so good. The crunchy from the water chestnuts and the savory flavor of the chicken just went oh so well with the crispy fresh lettuce! Also... Cecily was nice and concocted a lovely sauce for us with the three options PF Changs offers... soy sauce, spicy? sauce, and some sort of dijon sauce. Anyway, that sauce went wonderfully with the lettuce wraps. For the main courses we ordered Kung Pao Chicken and Beef a la Sichuan. The Kung Pao chicken was incredible, it came out hot and juicy. The sichuan not so much... the pieces of beef were itsy bitsy and just not that great. I've been here before and their crispy honey chicken is incredible! For dessert we had little desserts- Red Velvet Cake and Tres Leche Lemon Dream. They actually went really well together. The Lemon one was a bit tart, and the Red Velvet was SOOO sweet, so they evened each other out. I really love this place... so I'll definitely be back :)

Our recent order from P.F. Changs was not up to the standards of the old P.F.Changs. Some of the order was fine while other parts were not good at all. Additionally, we noticed that the menu was different, prices were higher and portions were smaller.

First time here. Dined with two others. We had the kung pao shrimp, pepper steak, sweet and sour pork, 3 sides of fried rice, chicken lettuce wraps, 2 spring rolls, and 2 egg rolls. Everything was delicious! ! So much so that even though they threw my boxed leftovers away, I'll probably be back and soon. We also had the chocolate cake, which was good, not outstanding, but good. We ate all the cake:-) we were there just before 5PM. It got really busy shortly afterwards. Makayla, our waitress was great. Very attentive.

PF Chang's is definitely a great time starting from the service to the ambience. The wait staff is friendly and always makes sure to cater to your needs. I've come here for group parties a few times and the service is top notch. As for the food, I think it's okay. I haven't had anything that has totally knocked my socks off and really feel that it's just glorified Chinese food with a hefty price tag. If regular Chinese food wasn't so cheap then these prices might not be so bad. I DO want to go back and capitalize on the prix fixe menu deal for two. I might be singing a different tune after that experience. I'll keep you posted. Overall I would give this place a 3.5.

First of all let me start by saying that I have liked PF change for many years and have always considered them a top notch restaurant. With that being said I write this review after my third crappy experience at this one here in Tulsa. The last three times the service has been complete crap and the food has been quite mediocre. I am beginning to think that it is just this location. Today we came here at around 530pm and it was not very crowed. There were only two of us and the hostess said that it would be a 90 minute wait. I was flabbergasted because there were empty tables and no one waiting. When I pointed this out she said that they had a lot of reservations. Okay...I get that, but they only take reservations for parties of 8 so if my logic is correct we most likely could have been seated at a 2 top and have finished before it even began to get crowded. None the less we opted to sit at the bar. The bartender was nice and the service okay, but the food was cold and not very good. The last two times here same problem with the food. Anyhow...I am done with this location and will save my PF changes experience for when I am out of town or traveling...

Overpriced for sub quality food would not recommend this place to anyone. I would rather spend my money elsewhere because there is better food for the same price or cheaper all around Tulsa

Love the decor, atmosphere, and menu. Very professional staff- never had a bad experience. Its a fun place to get semi dressed up to go to- its in Utica Square- one of Tulsa's nicest upscale shopping areas. I would make a reservation on weekend nights- sometimes the wait can be lengthy.
