What a great 1st time experience! When entering this establishment you wouldn't of guested that it used to be a gas station. Is decorated and done up very nicely. The staff was nice, the cook was quick, & the food was amazing. Everyone usually looks for that breakfast place where everything tastes just like you could of done it..HOMEMADE & FRESH. Well Mom's Family Diner definitely delivered just that. So glad my fiance & I came here and can't wait to make another trip. Can finally say that we found our breakfast spot....Just remember They are open 7 Day's a week but close at 3pm everyday...

For a mom and pop type restaurant, I would say they are pretty good! I loved the sausage, biscuit, and gravy. The biscuits were great, soft and delicious. The sausage is something that's worthy of a home cooked meal. I would say give it a try!!!!

Omelettes are huge, hash browns are fluffy, and they have Texas toast. Personally I don't like to eat lunch at breakfast joints, so I can't judge their lunch menu, but if you like breakfast late in the day, this is the place to go. It's Way better than iHop or Village Inn.

Meh. Food was okay- served room temp instead of hot. Service was friendly but very slow. Had to stare down The waitress twice to get a coffee refill. Honestly not terrible, but won't go back. Would rather have ihop.

I went here based solely on Yelp reviews. I won't ever go anywhere else for breakfast in Tulsa. Great food. Great service. Large portions.

Let me preface this by saying I've only been there for breakfast. That being said I've gone three times and never been disappointed. The food is strait up dinner fair. Just done to near perfection. Last time I ate there I ordered the biggest breakfast platter they offer. It comes with eggs, bacon, sausage, ham steak, hashbrowns and your choice of pancakes or biscuits and gravey. I ordered my eggs over medium and they were done perfectly. The hashbrowns were crispy on the outside and the pancakes were big and delicious. Word of advice. On the weekend, go early. I tried to go at 11:30 on a Sunday. There was a twenty minute wait for a table or booth. They do have a counter which has faster turnover, but its not a good option for a group. I can't wait to go back. I also want to try their lunch and dinet options.

Food vs price = yes waitress=good clean and great attitudes. Price and the amount of food, just about perfect. Out of the large group I was with not one complaint. Flavor was right on. Will be back!

Great service and even better food! Had the Deluxe French Toast breakfast and it was amazing!! Home style breakfast food is the best! I even got to decide how I wanted my bacon cooked.

This place was great! I have never been here before, but what had made my experience was because I had gone in for breakfast, and when I discovered the toast was already pre buttered made it pretty hard not to give this place 5 stars. Courteous staff along with the help and also the good was rather tasty! reasonably priced. I do expect to see more of this place and open nice environment.

Great food and friendly service. The place was hopin' this morning with people coming and going the entire time. Atmosphere was comfortable inviting. The decor was very clean and completely remodeled since it used to be a convenience store in its previous life. There is a bar you can sit at which is something you don't see anymore and was a nice touch. All the staff was very friendly and there were plenty of them running around so you never felt ignored. We were greeted promptly once in the door and seated right away. The menu is large enough to satisfy most any palette but not so much where you get lost. We were for their breakfast and they include all your standards of omelets, meats, waffles and pancakes. But they also include some skillets and scrambles. The price is right on and there were two specials for this mornings patrons to choose from. I had the Max omelet (7.99) which was just that. It had bacon, sausage, onion, green pepper, mushrooms, tomatoes and more. The meal comes with hash browns or home fries and fruit or biscuits and gravy. I chose the old standard of hash browns and biscuits and gravy. It was all very tasty and NOT soaked in grease! The omelet was full of the extras and very lite and not over cooked. The hash browns as I said weren't greasy and had great flavor. I pause here because my only setback in this experience raises it's hand. When the food came out it was not as warm as one would expect. Not a huge problem to resolve but wanted to include it here. Now hold on to your hats we have arrived to the biscuits and gravy!! The focus on this is the biscuit. Made fresh, flaky and has a wonderful yeasty smell just like Mom made (no pun intended). They were very warm and amazingly soft. With a bowl of gravy on the side that complimented it perfectly. Writing this makes me want to go back and have one for desert! This was an all around great experience and with the quality, value, and packed house they had I hope to see Mom's Family Diner around for a long time.

Worst food ever! Over medium eggs had runny whites. Ordered fruit, got canned fruit cocktail! Only positive was the coffee was good.

Was back in my hometown to see my mom and she suggested this place. Nice, big parking lot, lucked out and found a space out front on a busy Friday morning. Walked in and wow, the place was packed, so we took two seats at the end of the counter. Michelle was our waitress. My mom knows her. She immediately gave us both menus and took our drink order. After bringing coffee, she took our order, ham and cheese omelet for me with hash browns and biscuit and gravy. It couldn't have been more than 5-10 minutes and voila, our food was here! Omelet had an ample amount of both cheese and ham. Hash browns were nice and crisp. Biscuit was nice and fluffy while gravy nice and thick. Since I was starving, I dug right in and must say, quite impressive. Omelet cooked perfectly and after some pepper and Tabasco, it was outstanding. No, it really didn't need any extra seasoning, that's just what I put on eggs, period. Hash browns were piping hot and got the ketchup, Tabasco and pepper treatment. Woofed those and the omelet down as both were rather tasty, I was honestly getting full and wondering if I had room for the biscuit, but took a bite and glad I did. Biscuit was very fresh and accompanying gravy was spot on. Also met another waitress my mom knows, Heather. Love the food, love the service and when I'm back in T-Town, I'll most definitely be back!

My husband went without me and said this place was really good, but not cheap. He had Mom's Country Platter which was really good. Texas toast with 1/2 pound patty , brown gravy and fries all over it. He is ready there again and anxious for me to try it too.

I'm waiting to get my tire fixed and decided to walk down to this diner. Never been here before but I've seen that it is always crowded. All the seats were taken except a couple at the counter and one large booth. They kindly put me at the booth. I ordered eggs. Hash browns. Bacon and one of their rolls. The coffee is excellent. The roll was fresh and yeasty. Great with strawberry jam. The eggs, bacon and hash brown were cooked just the way I like them. Portions were huge. I left some. ! Great meal and great service. I will come back for lunch next time.

Everything was delicious. I had breakfast with eggs cooked as ordered, tasty sausage, hash browns. The pancakes were fluffy and perfect. The price was reasonable too! Everyone was nice and helpful.

One of the best diner breakfasts that I've had. Has wonderful food and the service was good. I travel a lot and enjoy a good breakfast... this was one of the best. Not going to lie, I didn't have high hopes... but after the first bite, I was sold. Great biscuits!

I have eaten here a lot over the past year. I have not had their lunch either but it's so good for breakfast and I get so much food.
