We were wanting a late breakfast so we decided to go to Mimi's since you can get breakfast all day. We must have gone in right as the church crowd was arriving because there was a longer wait than I was expecting. We were told 15-20 minutes but it was actually more like 30 minutes. They do offer free coffee in the lobby, which helps with those longer wait times, but I'd rather them just be more accurate with what they tell me. Once we finally got seated, I ordered the Orange Creme French Toast. The thick toast is stuffed with orange marmalade and cream cheese. It is fantastic! It is served with two eggs, fresh fruit, and a side of bacon, sausage, or hash. My girlfriend had pancakes, scrambled eggs, and turkey sausage. Their turkey sausage is actually very good. If you just gave it to me without telling me, I would never think it wasn't pork. Our server was great (I think her name was Natalie).

You know, not too bad this place. $5 Mimosas are good, very fresh juice. Nice selection and very reasonable IHOP ish prices. Patio etc is nice early on.

Here's the news. At least to me. The menu is NOT what is posted here. Instead of Cajun and American, it's now French and American. Lots of bernaise sauce and red wine sauce. The bistro steak was delicious with the red wine sauce. Excellent au gratin potatoes. If you like wine in your food you'll love this place. Personally. I'm a salt and pepper fan so I'd rather have it without the wine.

I have been here more than once. There are some I know who this is THE breakfast place they love. I dear sir/ma'am prefer other establishments to the one mentioned above. I commonly pull towards local and I always want to eat fresh. This doesn't fulfill either of my needs. My belief is that the food offered here is highly processed therefore it reminds me of a IHOP but with better decor and fancier plating.- (I could be wrong this is just my opinion). Is the food terrible? No not at all. There are several items that are enjoyable but upon leaving the establishment I find I desired more from my experience. The "feel" of the restaurant is that of family, local, and quaint however I don't want that facade I want the real thing. With the options Tulsa has for great fresh food this did not meet my expectations.

I have been over a 20 year customer of Mimi's between Southern California and here. They lost a customer today. I expect a wait on Sunday's but have never had to wait 15 - 30 min once seated and ordered for the food to arrive. Once it did they brought out oat meal that you can stand a fork up in. Sent it back and they brought the same stuff. They sent a manager over who agree it was not appetizing. Stated they changed the type of oats to fine grain not rolled and that was how they turn out. Really? Just add more water so they are not so thick. As a manager never serve food you won't eat yourself... Standards are below fast food quality.

Hostess staff started our experience off to a negative start. Passed us up with 5 other groups because they had us marked off as seated already. Go to get some healthy food, but we were told, "That's not what we do here." Complimentary bread was delicious. Chicken was overcooked, but tasted good. The broccoli was good but slightly under seasoned. I won't go back.

A gem of a corporate restaurant. An authentic bistro in Paris this is not, but excellent breakfasts (try the quiche,) consistently outstanding service and a wide variety of other solid dishes including their sandwiches, burgers and even pot roast. Above average bread and muffins included with every meal and the first time I've ever been tempted to buy extra to take home. Try the strawberry lemonade too.

While traveling to Tulsa for the weekend we were looking for a great breakfast place. This cute little rustic place was down right delicious. The service was wonderful and the food was well seasoned, timely and delicious. The waitress and manager paid close attention to our needs. I would highly recommend this place especially if you are staying in Woodland Hills, which I also recommend!

As always, great food, great prices, and fantastic service. The muffins are exceptional. The truth is everything I have ever ordered at Mimi's has been great.
Consistent food and service. Seems like the prices have gone up a bit. Also most items have an up charge if you want a salad. The bread bowl is only brought out on request now (which I'm fine with if it reduces waste and keeps prices down). It's still free which is great. Carrot, raisin, nut bread is like a dessert when covered with their butter. Hard not to fill up on it while waiting for your meal. Free refills on the sodas is always a benefit in my book. If you haven't tried it, it's worth a shot, just be aware of busy times like Sunday mornings after church. Enjoy!

In the past I have not been a fan... My girlfriend talked me into going here for brunch. This opened my eyes to a whole new menu and set me on a path of testing out several items. First was a cappuccino style hot chocolate. Followed by my own drink of Highlander Coffee (Coffee, Irish Cream, and Drambuie). Next was a light appetizer of Baked Brie (Hot Brie cheese with apples and toasted bread to dip with), while we used the local wifi to poke around on our iPads. Eventually I ordered a Quiche Lorraine which came out piping hot and light and flaky. The service was attentive yet not overbearing and seemed genuinely interested in ensuring the kitchen kept potatoes away from our dishes. (Girlfriend is highly allergic). The price is market average for all but the liquor and I always expect to shell out a little extra when ordering liquor in a breakfast location.

OH MiMi's! I am so wonderfully delighted anytime I here of this place. I often come here after work at around 8 am for breakfast, but mostly for a mimosa. They are so amaaazing!!!! Several flavors to choose from, my absolute favorite is the mango mimosa. Not only do you get a pretty glass of juice, but you also get a personal mini bottle of champagne to add to your juice. It's just the best treat in morning!!! I have only had a couple of things on the breakfast menu -the best is the french toast with orange marmalade and cream cheese UGH! It's to die for!! All of my friends ordered the waffles with cream cheese and strawberries which were served elegantly (but were demolished). Their meal also came with eggs and another choice of a side, I believe. I also had the quiche lorraine which is very good with buttery, flaky crust and tasty bacon. I think I'm going to try an omelette next time. I've also heard wonderful things about the muffins and chocolate covered croissants! mmm Our waitress was very knowledgable and gave great recommendations. Service was timely and professional. I will be returning to this restaurant again, and again, and again...

Can i give this six stars? I love this restaurant! My cousin and I have dined here a few times and we ate here today for an early birthday celebration. We were welcomed warmly and both ordered the wine flight, I ordered waffles with eggs and cheese and turkey sausage. She ordered waffles with apples and bacon and eggs with cheese. We were also treated to a large blueberry muffin. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, but so filling. We could not finish it all! We would absolutely come back.

Was looking for a simple breakfast with the wife and instead found myself there for an hour and a half. The waiter had to ask several times what we ordered, which was the corn beef hash. I would have done better opening up the same can of Hormel corn beef hash and fried it at home because there's too was from a can and they could not properly prepare it. The management staff or lack of management should have seen that our waiter was struggling to even take an order as each table that he served he had to go back to ask for a repeat of their order. This is the first time I never left a tip and I will never go back.

Decent place. My husband and I have been here a few times for breakfast and lunch. Neat selection of food - the meals we have received have been fairly bland tasting. They do have pretty good bread, however we are not bread people. We will likely give it another try at some point and time (maybe later in life ). Service has always been pretty good and fast.

I love Mimi's! We stopped in for Brunch on a Sunday and were seated right away. Our waiters were quick and efficient. I have tried their Belgian Waffle and French toast and both were great, but was looking for something more traditional, so I went with the Two Egg Breakfast--2 eggs over hard, 3 turkey sausage links, and breakfast potatoes. I also substituted a blueberry muffin for the toast. Everything came out cooked perfectly and my coffee cup was never empty. The muffin was by far the best part of the meal. I can't wait for fall when the pumpkin muffin comes back because that is my favorite one!

Average service and mediocre food. Despite the name that implies a local small business, Mimi's is a chain restaurant with an interior that reminds me of Applebee's. The crab cake came with a small salad and 3 crab cake patties. I enjoyed it because it was fried lightly and the tangy salad went well with the crab. The actual crab meat was not high quality. I also got an overcooked bread pudding in a pool of buttery something. This was topped with an exorbitant amount of overly sweet whipped cream. The petite version is one piece of the bread pudding while a normal order is two. Luckily I choose petite. The dish looked and tasted unappealing. I took two bites and set it aside. There was no flavor and thus, not worth the calories. For the molten chocolate cake, you can't really go wrong with a chocolate cake smothered in fudge. Mimi's version was a cake shell filled with melted chocolate. The cake was average, nothing extra taste-wise. I did not tax myself to finish it, but it satisfied any chocolate cravings.

I have eaten at Mimi's twice, once for breakfast and once for dinner. Each time the food has been outstanding, though a little pricey. For breakfast I ordered the french toast and for dinner I had the french dip sandwich. This restaraunt would receive 5 stars for these dishes however the service was extremely slow and inattentive. The worst was at the dinner where the waitress spent almost our entire meal chatting at a table near ours. We ended up having to ask a passing manager to get our refills on drinks. We saw two different groups of people come in and leave from her sections due to the fact that their orders were never taken. We had to wait almost 15 minutes after we were through eating for our dessert order to go in.

To be honest, I was a little skeptical at first when I handed my credit card to the server to pay $12.54 for a chicken pot pie. Nothing was included, except folk and napkins. Then I drove 10 mins back to hotel and started working on it. Although it did not look very attractive in the picture, it tasted very good. It was creamy, the chicken was tender, and vegetables were fresh. Everything was good. I would come back for more soon.

Nice clean place with excellent service. They have a nice selection of foods to try. One notable item is their muffins. They seem to be baked fresh. I had their chicken crepes and it was a nice change. I like seeing more places changing from the norm.

Yummy muffins! But the menu says they have baked potato and they do not :( My waiter was very quick to point that out (kind of rudely) but suggested the 'baby bakers' and they were very tasty. Actually, since the day of my visit they have removed baked potatoes from their side options online....maybe they had not switched out the menus yet? Anyway, the baby bakers were good. Had the mahi-mahi (" Instead of the Mahi-Mahi, can I get just the one Mahi, because I'm not that hungry?" - anna faris in house bunny lol) and it was ok. The pumpkin pancakes when they're in season are awesome! I also love their orange cranberry sauce during Thanksgiving season, yum!

Had dinner at Mimi's. My wife had the jambalaya and I had the roast turkey crepes. Both were pretty good. Atmosphere had a French/new Orleans feel. Service was great, waiter was super nice. Best part of the meal was the bread basket... Had to take home some of the zucchini/carrot bread... Really wonderful! Over all Mimi's seemed more upscale, and the prices weren't bad. I'd recommend it.

Mimi's Cafe is located next the Woodland Hills Mall in the mix with the other 10,000 restaurants in that area. Mimi's is French themed, but their menu mostly contains American and Soul Food items. I started with some Corn Chowder, then I had a Chicken Pot Pie, and my girlfriend ordered Slow Roasted Turkey Breast. The Corn Chowder was creamy and extremely delicious. I love chowders and this was pretty amazing. yelp.com/biz_photos/x7mF… The Chicken Pot Pie was almost like a piece of art. It was gigantic, and had a big crispy crust. One thing always bothers me about Chicken Pot Pie is how ridiculously hot they are on the inside. I always burn my mouth. The crust was delicious and the insides were fresh and rich. But there really wasn't anything that stood out other that the size of this. It didn't have much flavor. yelp.com/biz_photos/x7mF… The Slow Roasted Turkey Breast came with Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Dressing, Vegetables and a Orange Cranberry Relish. This was the perfect Thanksgiving meal. Everything on this was so freaking good. The turkey was tender, the stuffing was soft and delicious, and the mashed potatoes and gravy were outstanding. I would recommend this if you come here. yelp.com/biz_photos/x7mF… Mimi's is great for kids and their colorful menu will leave you with plenty of decisions to make once you arrive.

We rarely dine out because we are fairly good home cooks and often find that even if the food is good, that poor service can truly spoil any outing. Thus, a review from us that exclaims great service, is indeed, impressive. Our server Terri was truly one of the most sincerely helpful, outstandingly pleasant servers I have ever had- anywhere. Her smile never left her face. She was obviously knowledgeable of the menu. She went our of her way to accommodate our 11 year old son's special requests ( decaf coffee, black with whip cream). Everything was on point. Then- the GM came over. A guy named Chris Guy. He too, seemed to truly love his work and was dedicated to sharing his commitment to customer service. Even mentioned a free food/muffin program for high achieving students. Gave us his card and 2 free muffins when our son mentioned that he is a straight- A student! Mimis is fortunate to have workers of this caliber. They could make more money at higher end, expensive restaurants . If you go to the 71st and Memorial location- ask for Terri. And get the fish tacos. best in Tulsa. Who ever would have imagined that!?

I'd say it's a New Orleans theme with out New Orleans food. Breakfast is a real treat here, dinner not so much. Don't get me wrong. It's good, it's just not something your going to tell all your friends about. Back to breakfast. Wonderful food and not just your typical eggs and pancake menu. One thing they do extremely well with is taking care of their customers as they wait for a table during breakfast rush. Free coffee and muffins are set out for self service while you wait, with punch for the kids. Great idea and one, as a parent, I really appriciate.
Ok... can we just get it out of the way that this is a chain? It is. Done. Mimi's is a place I kind of have to go to. My parents started going to one near out house in Los Feliz ( LA) CA and have gone up to 3 times a week. My family's meal was even complimentary once b/c the manager sees my folks there so frequently. So, one day we decided to eat here. The food was good and the service was good. I just felt sad that it wasn't my regular Mimi's. I like it.

Best place to go for breakfast, hands down. I've had/tasted their pancakes, french toast, waffles, eggs, bacon, smoothies, croissants, muffins and turkey sausage - all are absolutely delicious. We go frequently and I would say 99% of the time we get wonderful, quick service. That's good enough for me! Portions are hearty - consider sharing!! YUMMERS!!!

Food was fine: blackened salmon was still moist and flavorful, vegetables were tender-crisp. Service was abominable: long wait to be greeted at the table, waitress sounded as if she did not recognize one of the wines on the very short list, a truly astonishingly long wait for the bill, and overcharged by $2 for the aforementioned wine "because new menus are going out tomorrow and the computer has already been updated." Uh-huh. I hope my experience was unusual, though I doubt I will seek to find out.

I've taken my wife and children to Mimi's Cafe three times now and each time we've been very pleased with the food. Our most recent experience occurred last night because we went to Mimi's for dinner. Although the restaurant wasn't nearly as busy as it has been during our previous visits, the service was slow. However, my family and I believe Mimi's is a great place to dine.

Ok... can we just get it out of the way that this is a chain? It is.

YUMMERS!!!

(4)Cindy D.

(2)Ben A.
(5)Vee R.
(4)Gene E.
As always, great food, great prices, and fantastic service. The muffins are exceptional. The truth is everything I have ever ordered at Mimi's has been great.

Quick brunch; Hubby & I were out to rediscover Persimmon Hollow, only to find it run down, shut down & certainly a far cry from the charming, antique filled country "hollow" it once was. He'd never been, I was once a couple years ago with daughter. When she & I stopped by, sadly, like so many other reviews, they lost our order. But that has happened elsewhere. And it's not that a mistake is made, the mettle is measured by how it's acknowledged & / or corrected. In this instance the management stepped up; comped our meal & sent us home w/ yummy muffins. Why not give them another chance? It's not exactly French, like Le Madeline 's. (Actually kinda tacky) But I decided I liked Le Madeline's better. Initially, I thought Mimi's French Onion Soup was better than theirs. But the bread in my soup was, seriously, hard as a rock; impenetrable. I finally took it out, placed it on a plate & tried to cut w/ a knife & could not! If you think IHOP has a huge menu you ain't seen nothin' yet. They have at least three huge menus, plus dessert. Oh some of it's redundant I'm sure. We were handed lunch menus, then told breakfast was available & given that menu! Hubby ordered some huge breakfast meal that centered around banana nut pancakes, which he really enjoyed. Included the usual other suspects: eggs, bacon, etc. I wanted savory so ordered the roasted chicken crepes. "Hand made crepes w/ roast chicken, sautéed spinach & mushrooms / sliced cherry tomatoes, topped w/ Dijon Chardonnay sauce, served w/ a house salad tossed In red wine shallot vinaigrette. " NOT. Oh, they try. It's a chain. The crepes & sauce were just okay, w/ the sauce separating, with evident grease. The little salad on the plate was a nice helping of field greens, dressed in OIL. I had to get a side of other dressing. Deliverer seemed oblivious when advised there was nothing on the salad but oil. One crepe was plenty so I packed up the second. I so wanted to end my meal w/ one of their awesome chocolate muffins & a cappuccino. Consumer ALERT: they don't make those muffins any more :( Our waiter didn't offer me an alternative (others have mentioned a chocolate croissant). So that was that. The offered muffins and desserts were not what I wanted. Our waiter was o k a y. But I could tell there were mistakes being made all around us! This place is huge! I walked around out of curiosity. I've only been seated in the bar. Why 2 stars? It's not only mediocre chain food but the service, sometimes lack of, & hit or miss on mistakes certainly deserves no more.
(2)Glen M.

There was no flavor and thus, not worth the calories. For the molten chocolate cake, you can't really go wrong with a chocolate cake smothered in fudge.

(5)Jeff B.
(3)Susan L.
We had an early dinner there on a weeknight in 4/07 and really enjoyed it. Mimi's is part of a chain, but it definitely didn't feel like one. Our food was really delicious (corn chowder - which only cost $1 because we'd ordered entrées - scallops & pasta, and their famous bread pudding with buttery whisky sauce). Our server was *superb* in every way, the manager was very friendly (I complimented him afterwards), and the interior was very attractive. Prices - even aside from the corn chowder bargain - were very reasonable because the portions were quite sufficient.

You can't go wrong with anything that you order. Breakfast, salads, soups, home made chicken pot pie, chicken fried steak, & their breads are just to die for scrumptious!
(5)Michael M.

If you haven't tried it, it's worth a shot, just be aware of busy times like Sunday mornings after church. Enjoy!

Food excellent (they give you too much...lol) and service just right. Ask for Frances...she knows exactly what to do and so friendly.

My food came out tasting delicious. The place was packed so the service was a little off but it wasn't terrible! She totally did her job to the best of her ability being so busy!! I would recommend to friends!

I love that place I have a pancakes sausage and eggs it was really good it was quiet place to eat

The chicken pot pie was delicious. I'm not sure about the other menu items, because I always get this dish. Reactions of my friends ranged from okay to great.

(4)Gene E.
As always, great food, great prices, and fantastic service. The muffins are exceptional. The truth is everything I have ever ordered at Mimi's has been great.

The Thanksgiving dinner for 4 was $106.00. It was horrible. Runny dressing, steamed turkey, and the green beans smelled like a garbage can. Really BAD!

We had brunch here and loved it!! The service was timely and attentive! The Marseille omelet and Pomme Lyonnaise Benedict-both were great!! The Sunrise Mimosa was tasty as well :)

Good stuff - excellent eggs Benedict, waffles, quiche etc. A bit on the pricy side compared to other dinner type places.

Ate here for the first time today, and it definitely won't be the last. The food and service were excellent.
(5)Courtney E.

(5)Tatiana D.
Ok... can we just get it out of the way that this is a chain? It is. I like it.
(4)David F.
A+ on atmosphere. My wife and I enjoyed our breakfast. She had a stack of pankakes.
(4)Susan W.
YUMMERS!!!
(5)kelly s.
I LOVE this place. The food is good, the service is good and the atmosphere is like being at home.
(5)Natalie D.
The French onion soup is pretty damn good!
(3)Chris G.
Absolute worst service ever. Not the first time either. I have been here several times and waited longer than 15 minutes without a waitress or manager coming by.
(1)Ron H.
