Went to the Logan's Roadhouse on 71st last night for my Daughters birthday. We had 9 of us there and being it was a Friday night, the place was very busy. Still no excuse for ruining our dinner. We started out ordering a couple of Long Island Ice Teas and a Screwdriver for me. The Long Island Ice Teas were almost undrinkable because they were so strong. My friend said the entire drink tasted like tequila. Like I said, the drinks were ALMOST undrinkable but they didn't go to waste. It just wasn't what they ordered. Originally the waiter brought me a regular ice tea instead of my Screwdriver but then realized right away that he screwed up and went to retrieve my drink. My screwdriver tasted like nothing but Orange Juice. Did not taste any vodka at all. Bummer. But enough for the drinks. Lets eat some steaks. After all, that's whey we came here, right? Out of the 9 of us, 8 ordered some type of steak and 1 ordered shrimp. I never heard any problem with the shrimp but 4 of the steak orders went back to the kitchen because they were extremely over cooked. Of the remaining steak orders, 2 of them were the 12 oz and the 16 oz prime ribs for myself and my wife. I couldn't tell the difference in size between the 12 and 16 oz pieces of prime rib and evidently the server couldn't tell either because he gave me the plate that my wife ordered and gave her my plate. No problem. Since they looked the same size, we just switched plates. Problem solved right? Wrong. Our Prime Ribs was so salty that they were hardly edible. And extremely tough for Prime Rib. The waiter never offered horseradish sauce or au jus with the prime rib which is absolutely necessary in my mind. So I asked the waiter for some of each. He brought me back a small bowl of brown gravy?? instead of au jus and the weakest, worst tasting horseradish sauce that I have ever tasted. It tasted like sweet mayonnaise. I then asked for some pure horseradish so I could mix it with this mayonnaise sauce. At first I mixed in the pure horseradish slowly so as not to kill my nasal passages. I never had anything to worry about because It never became edible. The mayonnaise was so sweet and overpowering that it buried the flavor of a bowl of pure horseradish if you can believe that. I'm not sure why we didn't send our Prime Ribs back. I guess I just wasn't feeling very confrontational that night. So we ate about half of each and took the rest home for our dog. I have eaten Prime Rib hundreds of times over the years and never taken any home from a restaurant. I love Prime Rib and will usually finish mine and anyone else's that couldn't finish theirs. I have never not finished a Prime Rib meal. I had told the waiter that it was my daughters Birthday so I waited til the end of the meal to see what would happen. The waiter brought her a dixie cup sized portion of vanilla ice cream on top of a small brownie. Then about 5 servers came over and screamed something about her birthday and then sang to her. It was nice and embarrassing for my daughter. I was very surprised to see that the small brownie ice cream treat was on my bill. It cost me an extra $2.99. We just had a dinner that cost me over $250 with half the food being sent back and they were going to scrimp and then charge me for this little teaspoon of ice cream and brownie? I have never been charged for a Birthday treat at any restaurant. Maybe times are changing but at least give me my moneys worth. This place is not the cheapest around so I kind of expected a little better service and food. I was very disappointed. There were a few other minor mishaps throughout the evening such as wrong side dishes, missing condiments, etc. but this is the jist of our major complaints. Suffice it to say that I will not be going back to Logan's again. We should have gone to Outback Steakhouse which was right next door.

I figured out that if you go during the lunch special, I think it is all day Mon - Wed and 3pm - 5pm on Thur - Sun you can get 2 meals for $14.99 and it includes the salmon... Great deal. I love their grilled salmon!

Went to this location with a group of 30. The hostess was very flirty with me, suggesting she may have to get "kinky" with me. Strange. We had 2 waitresses. When the food came out, it was auctioned off, rather than just brought to the correct person. Alot of "that's mine, oh wait I didn't order tose sides". General confusion. Ev eryone seemed to enjoy the steaks. I only a few sides of vegetables and I was disappointed in the sides. It's like they really went nuts with the salt on my veggies. If you like eating loud, drafty warehouses with ok food and not-so-great service, this might be the place for you.

Gave this place multiple attempts to wow me. Here's the culmination: Went here with an acquaintance I hadn't seen in forever. Was expecting the environment to provide a nice backdrop to the conversation -- talk with a nice steak involved. Waitress kept showing up every two minutes when we were in the middle of talking to "check in" though we never really wanted for much. Rolls are fluffy yeast rolls coated in a light butter, which wasn't too bad. Kept trying to converse with the person with me about the military until the waitress butted in yet again and attempted to insert herself into the conversation with talk of a grandfather who was in for "over 20 years" and who apparently insulted his own branch. We were both a bit offended at this as we were both servicemen and didn't quite buy into the story, and I practically had "GO AWAY" written on my forehead as I gave her a deadpan stare. Didn't work well as she just kept talking. I ordered The Logan, their flagship steak, and it finally came after about a half hour of waiting. Ordered it medium well, got it medium rare with everything else on the plate saturated in blood as the steak had been evidently cut open to check on its status on the burner. I repeat: the chef CUT THE STEAK OPEN AS IT WAS COOKING to check on its temperature. This is a cardinal sin in cooking a steak as it will allow the juices of the meat to escape and will dry out the steak like nobody's business! Of all the ways to check on the status of the steak, he used the one guaranteed to ruin the meat! Had mashed potatoes with brown gravy and steamed broccoli for sides. These were good. Very good. Potatoes were full of flavor (skin-in) and the brown gravy was even more flavorful. Broccoli was soft without being overcooked, buttered nicely. Real southern flavor to it. Yeast rolls are sweet, airy, and delicious. When I sent it back to be recooked, the waitress reported that I wasn't the first that day and offered a number of excuses. I ate the rest on my plate, was offered sides, I accepted. By this time I was half-full from everything else, saturated in blood as it may have been. Steak came back with another divot cut in it. I'd had enough by this point after eating the dried-out meat. Ironically, it's as I wanted the check that the waitress who was there to butt in every minute or so had vanished and we had to get it from another waitress. Punctuating our meal and conversation were three people who all seemed to have birthdays, but rather than a quieter celebration, this is a restaurant that announces to the rest of the restaurant the occasion and calls for them all to join in on a "yeehaw". In other words, this is not a quiet environment. It's got the same attempt at flair as Chili's or TGIF, without the silly antiques hanging everywhere, and louder. Just a touch more obnoxious than the rest. If you like steak, don't eat here. You can get better steak elsewhere and for less money. The Logan ran me roughly $13 and change; I could have gotten a better deal elsewhere and with better service. A meal for two goes for over $30 excluding tip. -- EDIT 2/19/2013 -- I tried this place again after meeting with a friend. They found a better cook who doesn't feel the need to cut open a steak to check on its temperature, as our steaks were intact. The sides are as lovely as ever and the yeast rolls, though uncommon, are still fresh, hot, and delicious. The rectification of this critical flaw would normally be enough to bump my two-star review to a four-star review, because this one fix made me forget the bad experience I had as I feasted on a succulent steak (a welcome change!), but there is something that I did not list in my old review and I feel I must list here after having encountered it yet again: I asked for a Logan. The last time I ordered a Logan (a large sirloin), they gave me a ribeye instead. Though others may enjoy a nice ribeye, I am not a fan of copious gristle in my meat, so I was not too pleased. This time, I received a New York strip. When I spotted the trademark ribbon of fat lining the side of the lengthy steak, my waiter shrugged, not really knowing what to say. I didn't mind much; I ate the steak anyway, and I enjoyed it without making the waiter throw away a perfectly good cut of beef. However, this is something I must warn about, as this is the one constant I've encountered with every time I have gone to Logan's that has never changed: just because you order a specific steak does not necessarily mean that that is the steak you will get. Hazarding a guess, they judge by size and do not discriminate one cut of meat from another. For a chain steakhouse that has a competitor chain steakhouse across the parking lot, as well as another competitor across the street, not being able to differentiate one cut of steak from another may spell trouble. I like steak, so I am not bothered much by this oddball quirk, but mileage may vary for all else. Caveat emptor.

I like Logan's. Yes, they may be a little overpriced on their entrees. Yes, their wait staff may be hit or miss. And yes, they've screwed up more than one of my steaks. BUT, every time my grandma has gone in with multiple coupons for a large group, they've honored each and every one of them for her. I know they don't have to do that, but they've never given her a problem so that deserves a star in my opinion. My family gathers here a lot for special occasions. Always with some coupons, or during their special time of day where they have discounted meals. We're frugal, not cheap. We tip well if it's earned, the end. Our last gathering here was for an early Christmas meal with members of my family that I wouldn't be seeing on Christmas Day. Most everyone in the group ordered steak, but i've learned my lesson with Logan's - I ordered the salmon. I've had too many steaks come out the wrong pinkness, so I opted for something else. The salmon was cooked well and not dried out. It came with a dill dipping sauce on the side, and my choice of 2 side items. And of course their delicious rolls! Our waiter was attentive, which was great considering the size of our group and people showing up at different times. Overall this was a good experience and of course we'll be back. With coupons.....I can't help it, i'm addicted to saving money lol.

As Tulsa yelpers know, there is no shortage of steakhouses in our city. While I don't believe this restaurant is really a stand out steakhouse, it has been really good a few times...and really bad a few times. To be honest, we go here when we get a BOGO entree coupon or if family wants to meet up in a centralized location. Our most recent visit was a Christmas get together with a large party. Our server was great, all things considered. I ordered the sirloin and grilled shrimp combo with salad and baked potato. The sides were decent, but the shrimp and steak were dry as the desert sand. I think the food died under the heat lamp, waiting to go out with the rest of the food. My steak was supposed to be medium well, but it came out closer to well done. I'm not one to complain over something like this, though. A little cocktail sauce and heinz 57 to wash the food down, and I enjoyed the rest of my time with the family. To end things on a positive note, we were there for quite a while, and they did not pressure us to leave. They kept our drinks filled until we left, and they checked back with us frequently.

The hostess had a hard time trying to decide where to seat us and dropped all the menus on the floor. The server was the same one as the other night, friendly, but not a natural. Well my husband's Wednesday special, ribeye and shrimp was tough and medium instead of medium well. My filet was okay, but well done instead of medium well. They don't know how to cook steak to order, but it is a good meal anyway. My husband was disappointed, I have lower expectations. The salad was okay, Italian dressing not very good. Steak came out before salad. Don't know if we will be back, $25 a person today.

We ate here recently with family. It was for my husband's birthday. It is a western themed establishment that is very casual . There is a bucket of peanuts on every table. Kenneth and I both ordered the steak. I ordered a 6 oz medium well with a baked potato and salad. He ordered an 8 oz medium rare with the same sides. The steak was cooked perfectly and was very tender. Kenneth liked his meal as well. The meal was well received by our entire dinner party. My husband and I love to eat at this establishment and have yet to have a bad meal here. We will be back.

I have tried Logan's a few times and wasn't overly impressed, but we got a gift card for Christmas, so we decided to give it another try. We went at 6:00 on a Friday and there was no wait. Our waitress was very helpful all night. I ordered the 6oz sirloin, shrimp skewer, vegetable skewer, and cinnamon apples. My steak was unevenly cooked and a little chewy, but the rest of my food was really good. Not the best steak in town, but I'd try it again.

This is the second time I have been to Logan's. Both times have been exceptional. I ordered the grilled Salmon, mashed potatoes and white gravy with grilled skewered veggies. The Salmon was perfect!!! Grilled just right. There was a fine olive oil to dip my grilled veggies in that really topped them off. I don't think I have had a better tasting mess of mashed potatoes and gravy ( except for my wife's of course.) Yeah, I will definitely be going back there. The waitress was really on the ball, there was a man that came around to see if everything was ok, the whole experience was top notch. Thank you.

It's a good steak for the value. Don't expect a prime steak, but also don't expect prime steakhouse prices.

Pretty good place to eat. Their foods a little overpriced and the staff's not great. The restraunt doesn't have a very comfortable feel and looks kind of dull and drab. However they do have good chicken tenders, salmon, grilled chicken, potatoes, and other things. I'd just go to Texas Roadhouse instead its basically the same restraunt but with better food and a better atmosphere.

Logan's is FAR below Texas Roadhouse. I had a terrible steak in SC and as this one in Tulsa was in the parking lot of my hotel, I decided to give it another try. This time I stayed away from their far below average steaks and tried the shrimp. Well, I ordered a beer and the bartender finally came over to me after six minutes...and I timed it, and asked if I needed a beer...I hadn't got my first. I ordered shrimp, potato, and salad. The dinner came out and I asked where my salad was. She said, "oh yeah" and brought it out. The shrimp tasted like they poured them straight out of a frozen grocery store box. They were terrible. I had to bury them in cocktail sauce to make them palatable. I asked for my check; again I waited nine minutes and she brought the guy beside me his check and told us both to have a good evening. I waited another six minutes and asked if she was going to give me my check. Again, "oh yeah." Wow...this was not rush time. It was 8:30pm on a Tuesday night. Geez, what will you get when they actually have customers. I got a bag of peanuts to go and watch the NBA finals in my room...even the peanuts were stale!! Anyways, terrible once, shame on you. Terrible twice, shame on me. Much shame on me. Don't waste your time with this wanna' be TX Roadhouse chain. TX Roadhouse is FAR better. I will NOT go to and waste my time or money on Logan's again.

They are completely overpriced! I ordered a 20 oz ribeye steak, with broccoli, sweet potato fries, and a side order of shrimp scampi. The waitress served our entrees, but forgot to put my side order in the system, so I had to wait an extra 15 minutes. Their idea of shrimp scampi was boiled shrimp over oily rice; no flavor or seasonings whatsoever!!! They charged me 9.99 for the side, and it SUCKED. Sweet potato fries were okay, and the steak could have been better. The bathrooms were disgusting. The odor from them was overwhelming and smelled throughout the restaurant.

I had the brewski steak, my companion had ribs. Both were pretty good, just not the best we ever ate. I had onion pedals -- again, pretty good, as was the caesar salad. Actually the signature bread rolls were the most memorable thing. They were terrific. The service was attentive. The waitress was new and in training, but told us early on, so we actually wanted to coach her and cheer her as she learned her new job. It was not quite like McGills at the hard rock, where everything was professional and first rate, but it was a nice fun dinner.

Had the Grilled Salmon Salad and held the dressing. Was prepared for a bland-ish salad, but the salmon, with lemon-pepper seasoning, was so tasty I didn't miss the dressing at all! Yum. :) Staff is friendly and nice, but not super attentive or responsive.

Dropped by Logans across from Woodland Hills last Friday evening. Was surprised that there was no wait for a table. Most of us in Tulsa are used to waiting 30-45 minutes on a Friday night for a table at a good restaurant. Quick service , great bread bread as in all the Logan's Roadhouses. I ordered the small ribeye, Medium rare and my son ordered Cheese sticks. Very disappointed in the quality. Steak wasn't worth eating. Grainy, tough, and no flavor. Sons food tasted like microwave cheese sticks. He ate his I sent mine back and got it removed from the tab. Waitress was very nice but manager never made a effort to check on me. That's pretty bad .. Will not return.

I visited this Logan's while visiting family in Tulsa. Wow o Wow. I know this restaurant just opened, but it was such a wonderful experience. We went for dessert and had these small "shot glass" type desserts of fudge brownie, peanut butter, and cheesecake. They were awesome and inexpensive so you could try all of them. Which I am a dessert person who LOVES trying desserts. The service was wonderful, not just because she was family, but because everyone in the restaurant was welcoming and helpful. We went at a very busy time and the hostess had no problem seating me my cousins section and made sure we got seated in a timely fashion even with the wait. Love this place.

Sat at table in the bar area and the service was very good, so was the chicken tenders and the coleslaw. Will go there again and try some of their other offerings.

I have eaten at several of these around the country and the food has been so so! This locations service and food was EXCELLENT! Ate the 8oz filet and bake potato! Great Job!
