This was my second time to go to Joe's and I'm not sure I'll go back. It's overpriced. We shared a steam pot, and the crab was mushy, we had to tear the crab exoskeleton. It did not crack. The mussels and clams were over cooked while some still seemed under cooked. The only high point of the meal was the appetizers. The crab dip and crab balls were good. But, the calamari was chewy and the breading was soggy. I'd much rather go to Red Lobster if I'm looking for restaurant shellfish.

I would have loved to have eaten here tonight, but due to the non-purged shrimp and lack of entering our order...that wouldn't be possible.

We were there at the end of lunch time. The service was really really bad. The food left much to be desired as well. I've had better seafood at Long John Silvers and I think Long John Silvers pretty much stinks. First and last time for us at Joe's.

Parking is ridiculous for this location.. The penne was over cooked, side of crab is over priced for the amount you get.. the menu is smaller than other Joe's that I've been too.. Service was good however

The quality of a resturant is exactly what your food and service says you are. My experience with this Cretacean Chain was absolutely horrible. When your wait staff says that normally they are not this disheveled but due to a run of birthday parties earlier in the day they were a bit out of sorts. This pure and simple is a management issue. If your wait staff cannot adequately supply a modicum amount of service to its patrons, then more employees must be brought online in order to handle the load. A casual meal by my family should not have to play second fiddle to a ramshackle bunch of tween's birthday parties. *Failed to acknowledge empty water glasses *Failed to deliver ketchup and red sauce to table *Failed to deliver silverware to table until 5 minutes after food was served *Food was poorly cooked and devoid of flavor I guess this is what you get when you opt to eat seafood in a landlocked state. Tschüss! Signed, Disgruntled Customer

Love this place!! Great food!! But the service and atmosphere suck...idk if the manager cares bout this place or not but they have, hands down, the best crab in town but the people running it seem to not care...

I had not been to a Joe's Crab Shack since 1998 in Newport Beach CA. I didn't care for it back then. What a difference 15 years makes. Went the other day for a work lunch and was impressed. It was fantastic. Had a combo of 2 types of crab, shrimp, and sausage. It was delicious. Excellent prompt service as well. I will for sure go back again.

I am only giving one star because I have to. My experience tonight doesn't deserve any star. We called in an order to pick up tonight. They said it would be 30 minutes. When we picked it up they didn't have one of the dishes so we had to wait another 15 minutes. Wish we had looked at food before we left bc we would not have paid for it or accepted it. A side salad that was $5 looked like they scraped someone else's half eaten salad into a to go box. They did not include two of the sides we ordered. One dish was steak which was fine but there were like 6 fries and the steamed veggies were just in a Baggie and soggy. The fried shrimp dish once again looked and tasted like we had someone's leftovers from the previous day. The fish and chips were fine, but considering we waited another 15 minutes they really should have been. We called and let them know how disappointing and ridiculous the order was. Heard a couple of sorrys and that was it. Even if they had offered a coupon or something I would never want to eat there again. Such a disappointment!!!!!!

Waiter was very nice & food was DELISH!!!! The crab is flavored well- Cajun I beliefs I had! Spicy YUMMY!!! It is a costly meal FYI -just 2 of us + appetizers was like $60 but well worth it in my eyes! COCONUT SHRIMP = MMMHHH MELTS IN YOUR MOUTH!

This was my first visit to a Joe's and will be my last. The service was very slow, the waitress was so friendly though and she really did try, but just seemed to not be in a hurry at all. The food was awful, I ordered one of the steamer pots, something I have been looking forward to for a long time. A 1/4 of the clams were not open, and the lobster shell was so soft it was like peeling back wet cardboard. The lobster and crab meat stunk, and when I complained about it I got nowhere. The only thing worth eating in this $30 meal was the boiled potato! I was so disappointed with this experience I will not return to this chain. I even got on the Joe's website and put in a private complaint about the food quality, and never got a response. I expected more from a company that puts so much into advertising their "quality" seafood.

Enjoyed the mushroom cap app, and the mussels Diablo. The clam chowders was ok but the snow crabs made the meal awesome, the best place in Tulsa for Crabs... One of the top places for seafood. No cry babies, just good crab... Lol

My wife's food was sent back twice still couldn't get it right manager came out and argued with us at the table worst experience ever. Need to send the managers back to training for customer service. Waiter was great.. Just hope nothing goes wrong or it will be your fault!g

Hated it. I'm giving it two stars because I might not have given them the whole chance they deserved but the food was terrible. The crab was tasty but not the best in town. Yes, the potatoes were starchy and firm and the clams were rather small and over-seasoned. The waitress I had was brand new and I gave her as big a break as I could, but forgetting half of our order is unforgivable. The soda was flat and when I asked to get a fresh one, she said she didn't know how to change it and finally brought water back instead. Then on the bill she charged me for the soda still. I'm not going back anytime soon.

I am biased because I absolutely love crab, but we adore Joe's. The food is great. It is also VERY family friendly...they have seating outside next to a duck pond where the kids can feed the ducks, and a they also have an enclosed playground. So, during the (sometimes long) wait for your food, the kids are entertained.

I'm going to go ahead with four stars, probably because I love crab and your options are limited here in Tulsa. In my opinion, it's pretty decent, but it suffers from a lack of crowds. What I mean is when a place like this is busy, you tend to get your food faster then when a kitchen is just moving enough food to keep from dying of boredom. One thing about Joe's that I really don't like is the seating. There are only four booths and the rest is all 4 top tables. I just prefer the comfort and privacy of a booth rather than feeling like I'm sitting in a gymnasium.

Another table in another bar. I do believe you get their best service that way. Had the grilled salmon with dirty rice and it was great as good as the service and that makes for a wonderful dining experience. Have to go back sometime and try some of their other great sounding items.
