Ordered Cucumber Salad, Papaya Salad, Pad Thai, and the Drunken Noodles for lunch. It was a lot of food but we were wanting to try some of the dishes out. The Cucumber Salad is not what you think it'll be. It doesn't come out like a papaya salad. The cucumbers are sliced and the sauce used is like a fish sauce combined with something sweet. They use a few slices of onion and you can ask for them to chop peppers into it if you want a type of spicy flavor. Not what we expected it to be but it was still good to us. The Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles are good. There's flavor and it's not bland. Last but not least, the papaya salad here is the bomb! It's rich in sauce and the shreds of papaya is fresh! Take a bite and you'll know what I mean by that, "crunch" you feel. Papaya salad is very good but it's better with the more peppers you add in it.

Our family and coworkers have eaten here several times. Mr Fu and his family provide some of the best Oriental food in Tulsa particularly Thai and Chinese. His Sushi is the best anywhere; I understand that chefs from other Japanese sushi places drive to Fu Thai for his authentic rolls. The presentation is always good as is the service. Entrees start with the most delicious egg drop soup....ever! We had our company Christmas dinner there last year for about 20 people and everyone thought it was fantastic! The Fu Thai building is small and unassuming but don't let that fool you. The food is Taj Mahal!!

Are you sitting down? Well, if not, you should head straight to this place! We always get their food as "take out" because I have health issues. We have gotten the MOST delicious peanut curry, red curry etc. imaginable!! They have always been extremely helpful and very curteous. And, I haven't even mentioned the fabulous sushi yet. It is a feast for the eyes as well as the taste buds! The "motor city" was arranged as a car. All of this wonderfulness will not wipe out you bank account either. Maybe, sometime, we'll meet you there.

I had dinner here with my family and we really liked the food. I didn't get to take a picture of everything but I love their papaya salad! My favorite dishes are the Talapia curry and fried rice curry. The only thing to complain is that they needed a waiter/waitress to help out. Otherwise they were really nice and the food is good.

I'm very new to the sushi game, but I had some friends convince me to go here with them one evening. I went with the crispy California roll and was pleasantly surprised! The environment is very easy-going and the sushi looks like art when it's initially presented to you! The meal I got was pretty filling and it was only about $5-$6! I would definitely recommend this to all sushi lovers!

My husband and I visited this gem for the first time tonight. Terrific food. Great service. Friendly chef. I'd give them 10 stars if possible.

I asked Siri to suggest sushi for lunch. I have my favorites, but I'm always looking to try something new. She gave me three options. I chose Fu-Thai, mainly because I had not heard of it, which could be a bad thing--I guess. I was in the mood for an entree but craved sushi as well. I orders Unagi Nigiri, Bangkok chicken, and a Dr. Pepper (It came in a can with a cup of ice). The sushi came first. It did not appear appetizing. For me, presentation has value, and I want Unagi to have a glossy glaze appearance. It should also be puffed up, standing proud on top of that rice pile. Instead, it looked as if it went through a two minute microwave cycle. Ugh! The Bangkok Chicken was run of the mill breaded and pan fried chicken bathed in a glaze. The rice had good stickiness but had the taste and smell of fish, as if it were cooked in fish oil. The flavor of the chicken was nice; I ate all of it. I didn't finish the other piece of Unagi. Couldn't do it. I'm a big believer that you get what you pay for, so I can understand if it is cheap and mediocre. My meal wasn't expensive, but it wasn't cheap either. I paid $14.32 plus tip. The value wasn't there. I kind of like the idea that the waiter, bus boy, sushi chef, chef, and cashier was one guy, who was probably the owner as well, but sadly, I won't return or recommend.

What more can you ask for. Whenever I'm needing to satisfy the craving for Thai food and Sushi, this is my go to spot. I'll always order the papaya salad extra spicy and then order the classic dragon roll. I'm definitely a repeat customer.

This place is occupying a space where restaurants have trouble staying in business. It advertised Chinese, Vietnamese, Sushi and Thai. That's quite a variety to do well. They briefly had a small buffet going which was VERY good as the buffet's in Tulsa are all about the same and bland. Theirs was flavorful and fresh. Sadly, the buffet warmer went out and I have not had it repaired. They also no longer have a server so it is what I assume is the owner and his wife trying to keep things going by themselves. That can make for spotty service but the man that works the front end is nice. I have not tried the sushi so I can't speak for that. Just tried the drunken noodle recently and it was quite good. Their Pad Thai, a thai staple is not quite up to par but not awful. Their basil/garlic thai dishes are all decent and while they will serve them with fried rice instead of steamed rice, the fried rice they put on the side is sadly not that great. They do serve small bowls of soups like Tom Yum which is great when I want some of the soup and an entree. Most places make your order an $8 bowl of soup. Their Tom Yum is fine. To get really good Tom Yum, I have to go to Stillwater to Thai Cafe. I have not tried any chinese dishes that I can recall as I was there more for Thai. I hope this place makes it and would love if they brought the buffet back.

I would have given 3 stars but anytime a restaurant has me up all night running to the bathroom I tend to take points away. We had a large group and overwhelmed the one server and one cook who were pleasant enough and very apologetic but really had no idea how to serve a meal. From the time the first person was served until I got my food was over an hour, I understand it takes time to prepare sushi and again I'd have been ok if the sushi that came out was good. OSU roll looked amazing but tasted very dry and flat. Spider roll looked great but had almost no flavor at all and the salmon roll (I believe this is the culprit behind my many sprints to the bathroom) was bland, not fresh. I really wanted to like this place and kept trying to give the benefit of the doubt being raised by my party, but in closing Fu Thai is NOT on my return list

Saw this place open near my work and wanted to try it. My favorite place for Pad Thai closed awhile back and i have been looking for a new place near me for it. Pad Thai was good, but not as good as the place that closed. My buddy had Chicken Peanut Curry, which he seemed to like. Sweet and Sour chicken was also ordered, which i didn't hear any complaints. They also have a Sushi bar, although no lunch specials on the Sushi side of things that i could tell. The decor needs to be changed since they haven't change a couple of things that still says the name of previous business, like the front door and the wall next to the door ( which have the names of 2 different businesses :) ) I will go back, maybe for the Pad Thai as well as trying other items.

When I saw that there was a sushi bar opening up next to my work I had to try it out! I have been back quite a few times and I have never been upset. The sushi is fresh and prepared very well. The Chinese and Thai are also great! I was pleased with the Miami, Alaska and Spicy Yellow Tail rolls I ordered. The General Tso's and Sweet and Sour chicken were fabulous! The sauces they use are not your run of the mill variety. You can tell they come from a tub! I have also ordered the Pad Thai and Pad Bai Gra Praow off of the Thai menu and enjoyed every bite! Please give this place a shot, you won't be upset you did!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
