Great little place....mostly a college/yuppie scene from what I can gather. Food was good. Had the curry chicken salad sandwich which had good flavor but was a bit dry. The lentil soup was outstanding.

Not from the area but this place was recommended - we stopped in for dinner before a concert. Immediately loved the dark and romantic atmosphere, unique lighting and art on the walls. I started with a berry/lemon cosmo (how can you not at this place); it hit the spot. They have a huge gluten free menu, including lots of desserts. I went with the vegan/gluten free lentil soup and a mixed green salad. The soup was a huge serving, hearty and filling. The salad was small and plain but the balsamic vin dressing was more than tasty. Finished up with an espresso shot - a nice touch on the menu. Our server seemed a little closed/reserved at first, but really opened up during the meal, even suggesting places to grab a drink before our show, and giving detailed directions to the venue. Great atmosphere, tasty food, friendly/helpful service. I want to go back already.

I've been to this place dozens of times and the wait staff never disappoints. Great salads. Awesome Hummus. Stellar Employees. Sweet Mixed Drinks. Really cool atmosphere. #winning

The food hear is a nice variety of different flavors. I recommend the Thai Coconut Curry soup. Atmosphere is geared more toward hipster/intellectual crowd no sports here folks. Just movies that no one has heard of. The service was a bit slow for my liking, but other than that food is not too bad.

I like this place. I love that they never play sports games. Their TVs show things like Lost and of course on mute. They have lots of board games to choose from and play. The food is good, but the drinks are great! It is not too loud so you can actually carry a conversation.

Various elements combine to create this bizarre, confused concept that celebrates a cocktail that experienced its hey-day over a decade ago. Upon approaching the building I noticed the namesake sign above the entrance, book-ended by two of those "tribal troubadour" thingies that I have seen tattooed on various hippies and, I'm pretty sure, came in the "picture-art" file with Windows '95. Inside, things were weird. There were the usual restaurant fixtures like tables and chairs, but also a "games" area stocked with Monopoly and Risk. Before I had time to worry whether or not I would have to roll dice to be seated, my girlfriend and I were greeted warmly and shown to a table. An initial perusal of the menu set off alarm bells in my head. At first glance, my suspicion was that this was someone's "vanity" project - a restaurant ran by a rich house-wife who had taken her friend's "oooh's" and "aaaah's" over her offerings at cocktail parties and brunch to heart. I later came to learn that this theory is true, but there's no need to go into that here. Restaurants with dramatically confused concepts rarely survive unless there are deep pockets behind them. A quick look at the drink list revealed everything but a classic cosmopolitan - presumably their signature drink. Instead, the list offered about twenty variations on the "cosmo" which were really nothing but sweet drinks with the eponymous word attached to the end. If all of these drinks are cosmopolitans, then is anything really a cosmopolitan? I ordered a gin and tonic "cosmo". Upon looking at the dinner offerings, I found a really eclectic range of food items, including goulash, pizza, and sandwiches. I wanted to ask my server why all the sandwiches have cream cheese on them, but my date asked me not to. In the end, I ordered a fairly ordinary ham sandwich that cost around nine dollars after taxes. It came with Lay's potato chips. The service staff was outgoing, unpretentious, and cool, admittedly. The bartender invited me to a party (which, while peculiar, I took to be a genuinely friendly gesture). Even though I've only been in two or three times (my relationship with Cosmo ended the very second my relationship with my date on this occasion did), the staff always seems to recognize me when I run across them in public. All in all, I found the entire experience pretty comical. If you're in for something kind of strange, I highly recommend this restaurant. If you want original cocktails and forward-thinking cuisine, look elsewhere.

I've always loved Cosmo and planned to have a work happy hour there for a large group. Earlier in the week, I called Cosmo to see the best way to reserve some space for my work team. The hostess made no attempt to work on my request and turned my group away. This is very disappointing to me and several folks on my team who were looking forward to eating there and supporting a local business. I called White Lion, and they were more than happy to accomodate our group.

My SIL and I went for a late dinner girls night out. The drink specials are fantastic even though we missed happy hour. My sister had the BLT while I was feeling adventurous and tried the Cuban goulash. We were both highly impressed with the flavor in both dishes. We also shared the tres leches cake. Despite the funny name it was pretty good. My SIL loved it (her first) and it wasn't the best I've ever had but I enjoyed. Then again, I'm pretty picky about it being from New Mexico. All in all a good trip. Nice to know we're not stuck with pancakes or gas station food for late night eats!

The only thing they put effort in is the decorations on the wall. i might as well as made a sandwich at home. Thats how simple there dishes are. Cuban Goulash, more like a chunks of meat sitting on a bed of Kraft Macaroni and cheese. Way to get creative. Nachos....burnt nachos are tasty, thanks. I guess i've should have judged this restaurant from the get go by the amount of sandwiches and pizza dishes they had on the menu...I sure miss college...way to get creative. Staff, well everything is just (and i quote), "GOOD" according to our server MIRANDA. Wait, except the hot dog. Ironically this is the only entree that was finished. Should have went with my gut on that one. THANKS FOR THE SUGGESTIONS MIRANDA, YOU'RE THE BEST :)

This is a great place to get a light dinner. The menu offers some really interesting items and smaller sized appetizers so you get a chance to try a variety of dishes. The curry chicken salad sandwich was my favorite. My husband got the Thanksgiving sandwich: turkey, stuffing, and cranberry sauce oh my! The waiter was friendly and didn't hesitate to answer any questions we had.

Excellent menu for food and drink. The build your own sandwich/salad menus are excellent. Service is great and the atmosphere is very relaxed. Enjoy trivial pursuit or any number of games while you are there. The italian nachos are excellent.

I would have given Cosmo a higher rating but their service seems to be lacking on a regular basis. Don't get me wrong -- their sandwiches, etc. are delicious. I just don't think it should take an hour to get three COLD sandwiches out to a table even on a busy day. I went there for lunch last week with some coworkers to sit on the patio and we all ordered cold sandwiches with potato salad as our side. The patio quickly filled up after we placed our order and other tables got their food before we did. Our waitress came to the table and explained to us that the printer in the kitchen wasn't working and our food would be out shortly. Tables around us who had been seated and ordered after us continued to get their meals delivered before we saw ours. In fact, quite a few tables ate and left before our sandwiches ever arrived. I understand that it's not always the wait staffs fault when issues like this arise but at some point, after talking to the waitress, you would think that she would have taken the initiative to tell the kitchen to get our order out ASAP before they continued on with the rest of her tables orders that were placed after ours. This is not the first time that it's taken an hour to an hour and a half to eat a sandwich at Cosmo. I love the food but something has to be done about the service.

One of my husband and I's favorite date places! The best time to go is when there's good weather bc they have a really fun patio. The staff is super nice and we've never had anything we don't love! The tomato soup and grilled cheese is amazing! So is the panini Milano. I love that the panini comes with a side salad for a healthy alternative to fries/chips. They have this mint chocolate chip cookie dessert that is the bomb. It's homemade whipped cream over a warm chocolate chip cookie and mint chocolate chip ice cream. I get it to go occasionally when I'm craving dessert. They also have an entire list of fun cosmos (hence the name) and a ton of good drinks. I like that they're open late for more of a bar atmosphere and also open for lunch complete with board games and card games that kids can play! Overall, super great place to eat/drink/be bad and have a huge dessert.

Cosmo is a great choice for a vegetarian or vegan looking for a light meal. They have many interesting choices; some of which I have seen nowhere else. I had a hot rose chocolate that is AMAZING! If you like things with rose water this is a must have. The vegan chili was awesome as well. The Indian bruschetta was good; I do wish there were more toppings. Gavin was a fantastic waiter even only being there a week!

I guess the gimmick about Cosmo is that is kind of a "catch-all". It is a sandwich shop/coffee espresso bar/full service liquor and wine bar. Maybe that's part of the problem. If this place committed to one concept it might work better. I was looking forward to visiting the new location on Brookside. The food tasted just fine, but it is the sort of thing that someone could easily make at home in 5-10 minutes. Our server Carol was wonderful. If you're looking for cold sandwiches without any frills, this is the place. I will give it another try at dinner and see if the evening selection fares better. Overall, it isn't a bad place, just overpriced for what it is.

Wife and I went for appetizers and drinks. Hummus was very good. We sat at the bar and enjoyed the setting. It wasn't loud or smokey like many places along Brookside. We will have to try the cafe part during the day.

We tried this place with friends for the first time tonight. Being a new resident of Tulsa I am always looking for new spots to try. We stopped by on a Wednesday evening for a little dinner. First of all, parking is a potential nightmare for this area. There is a main parking lot behind the establishment and it was full when we got there and it was on a Wednesday. Be prepared to circle the lot a few times or park a block away. You can either enter from the front or back. If you enter from the front, you must walk all the way to the back by the bar to wait to be seated. Some people did not read the signs and waited at the front. The decor is modern with a casual feel. We were seated at the front window which was nice. It was still happy hour so I had a pint of Blue Moon for $2. I can only comment on what I had to eat or what I sampled. I tried some of the Wings & Things appetizer. You get boneless honey BBQ wings and bone-in tequila lime wings. I was not blown away with either. In fact, I can almost guarantee that I can replicate the boneless BBQ wings in my own kitchen. I ordered a sandwich for my meal. I ordered the Turkey Avocado sandwich on honey wheat. It was OK. The amount of turkey meat was nice but I hardly noticed the bacon at all. I also chose potato salad as my side dish and it was nice and light Overall, my initial experience was OK. The order was all correct for our table but the service was a little lacking. One thing that did make me question the service was that when asked if I wanted another beer, I wasn't informed that Happy Hour was over. I take half the blame for not checking the time but I am not going to lose sleep over an extra $2. I really like that area of town with its cafes, restaurants and bars as it reminded me a little of where I used to live in San Diego. I will definitely visit that area again in the future.

Tasty, simple menu at relatively reasonable prices compared to other nearby Brookside establishments. Unique and interesting seasonal mixed drink menu choices. Not too noisy. Sometimes very packed on the weekend evenings and hard to find a seat, but almost always have a couple open tables in the bar area. Seating on weeknights is usually not a problem. Parking lot directly behind (but also very full sometimes on warmer month weekends). One negative would be the relatively limited food menu, but that just impacts how often you may want to come back for a full meal. For drinks it was a favorite place of ours for a month or two this last summer.

Great one stop shop. In the mood for a lite meal? Want a late bite to eat? Want to sit out on the patio with your friends and still have a full bar? Want an internet cafe? i could go on. They basically have a full coffee shop, more tea than I knew existed, full bar, restaurant area, a play area with toys for kids.... We both had sandwiches and soup. They green chili queso soup was on special, but it was very good. Oh and bring your laptop and write your own review while you are they. they have free wi-fi which i think i already mentioned.

Good food and atmosphere. Might be a little too laid back for a serving restaurant. I think we ended up getting the work server known the mankind. It took about 15 minutes for her to even come to our table. She didn't introduce herself and she only offered to get us water. About 10 minutes later she came back to the table and just stood there, without saying anything, waiting for our order. Food came out in decent time. We planned on getting dessert, but were then presented with our check without any comments or questions. We got dessert and paid. I paid with a gift card and cash. She didn't even bother doing the math on the cash and just handed us a random amount of money. I'm usually a generous tipper, but I only left her a dollar. I can still hear the godforsaken scuffling of her house shoes. Also, they had a dog dish with food and water under a table. That can't be legal.

This review is for the new Cosmo Cafe on Brookside. It's a perfect place to get a light meal, dessert or a drink. Trendy decor with table, bar and outdoor seating, and wifi access. They have a good beer selection in bottles and draught, and a fresh, quirky menu. Sandwiches and salads are light with interesting ingredients. I also tried the roast beef bites appetizer which had rare roast beef on crostini with horseradish spread - very tasty. Overall a comfortable, neat little place to sit and enjoy a nice light meal or a beer.

This is my favorite casual place in Tulsa. Though for some reason every time i do go i get the worst service. In fact the last time i was there, the people i were with were so unhappy with it they wanted to leave. But despite that everything else is wonderful! You can play board games which is so much fun regardless how old you are. And the food is good as well. (I haven't tried the Cosmo on Peoria yet so hopefully the service their is better)

I wanted to like this place more than I did. I came here for lunch on a Saturday with a coworker. Good service, very cute/trendy decor and mood to the place. Menu had lots of options which sounded really good. I felt my food was really bland and flavorless though. I got the eggsalad sandwhich that is marked as a specialty on thier menu. It had bacon which was different and good bread but really over all nothing memorable, I switch half a sandwhich with my coworker so I tried the roast beef and avocado as well. It was better but still not very flavorful. At least it had avocado which seems to be a little hard to come by in Tulsa. I would like to try this place out for drinks sometime but for lunch will try something else.

Cosmo is always delicious. The atmosphere is fun, and it's in a great location. The servers are always nice and helpful. My favorites include- curry chicken salad salad, Asian salad, and tomato soup. The quesadillas and nachos are also tasty. The kids love the pizza and board games. I've heard the drinks are great, but I have never tried them. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is that today it took 30 minutes to get our food. That hasn't happened before, but it was disappointing. On my birthday I got some brownie chocolate cake dessert that was amazing and huge. Loved it!

Cosmo is tucked away in a nice little part of Tulsa, but definitely shouldn't be missed. Especially because it's open "late night" on a Sunday (meaning past 9, in this case). It's a comfortable atmosphere inside and the service was on top of it without being hovering. Thanksgiving sandwich (3/5): It was good, don't get me wrong. But as a bit of a stuffing snob (I know, right?), I found that portion to be very bland. The turkey was good and so was the cranberry sauce. Coconut thai curry soup (4/5): The ingredients read similar to tom kha kai soup, but it's not quite that. It has a thicker texture than a traditional tom kha soup, almost like the ingredients were pureed together. It was rather good that way, too! I got it as a side, but I imagine a bowl of it is filling. Spiced apple cider (3/5): Two other people I was with described it as "warm apple juice", which I can agree with. It wasn't very cider like but it was still decent and a good drink for a one time try.

Reading some of the mediocre and negative reviews of Cosmo here on Yelp, I have to wonder what some of those reviewers were thinking they were walking into. When I see a hipster-y looking place with the word "cafe" in the name, I EXPECT lots of random foods and drinks. Some of the complaints about the varied food and drink items are just ridiculous. What were you expecting?!? And the complaints about "oh, I could just make this at home." Hey, clowns, ANYTHING you order at ANY restaurant in the world can be made at home!!! Get over yourselves! I love the menu here BECAUSE it's varied. Every meal I've had here has ranged from pretty good to downright delicious. Despite what other people say, the pricing isn't too bad, either, considering the location and the "trendy" attitude. I don't remember ever having had slow service either, like some people have mentioned, but that could just be my bad memory. Certainly not slow enough to make me complain about it in a review (*cough, cough* Dilly Deli *cough cough*). I haven't done TOO much drinking here, but the drink prices never really bothered me, either. They are a bit weak at times, though, and that's one of my complaints about this place. The staff has always been friendly and on top of things, and there's usually a lot of attractive people around, both servers and customers. The atmosphere is nice, and even though it can get pretty busy at times, it still feels cozy and uncrowded.

This is one of the family's go-to places in Tulsa. Great for a date, great for a family dinner out, great for a lunch meeting with work colleagues or guests from out of town. I'll typically order the turkey & avacado sandwich on a baguette with a side salad and raspberry vinaigrette dressing. Wife loves the unique nachos, quesadillas and pizzas. Kids love the pb&j with yogurt (and sprinkles) of goldfish. Can't go wrong with a hummus plate as an appetizer.

I went back and forth between 3 and 4 stars on this one, but ultimately decided to play nice, because it's not the food that would keep me from a higher rating, just the noise and general busyness at peak times. I'm not one to eat in the bar, or go to a restaurant where there's a lot of noise, but hey, Cosmo is popular, so I solve the problem by having a late lunch. My fave is the Nicoise salad. And then, because I've been such a good girl, I polish it off with the fantabulous Chocolate Cobbler and roll myself out to the car.

Had a lovely lunch here last Monday w/ my daughter. So nice (since hubby & I were there way back right after they opened [for lunch], were ignored & walked out. First time back). Tanner was our awesome waiter. I enjoyed a cucumber pear vodka limeade--I needed it & it was quite tasty & soothing. Daughter recommended, since frequently imbibing there, the fast app', laughing that it was "just cream cheese w/ garlic & dill". Yea, but. . . W/ fresh bread, it is beyond yummy! I really don't think I could properly recreate it @ home. We scarfed it down. Therefore we went home with leftovers from our honey ham & Brie sandwiches on Tanner's recommended French bread. W/ mayo, lettuce & tomato, it was really good. Buttered baguette w/ ham, just like I've had in the French countryside. The leftovers held well & were greatly appreciated later. The space is rather small w/ lots of light bathing the front from windows facing Peoria. The atmosphere w/ the curvy bar is fun. Casual. You can enter from the front or back. They were not packed while we were there for lunch but there was a good mix among the patrons, what you like to see in a restaurant. Give me a good sandwich & you have my heart; and money:)

Cosmo is a great place to come with friends if you want good food and a nice, relaxed atmosphere. Their menu has many healthy options such as salads and hummus in addition to indulgent treats such as nachos and their famous Hershey's Cobbler. They also have an extensive gluten free menu! My favorite item on their menu is the Cosmo Chicken Salad. Cosmo also has a large cocktail menu and they're always running a special on one of their cosmos. They make one of the best mojitos in town! The restaurant is large and open, we've never had to wait for a table. I've never felt rushed here and the staff is hip and friendly. There is also an partially outdoor seating area as well. They also do to-go orders if you want to call ahead and pick something up to take home.

One of the best quesadillas I've ever had. Not the Italian, the regular. I wouldn't necessarily call it regular. It had bbq chicken, bbq salsa, corn, black beans, cheddar & mozzarella cheese with garlic-dill cream cheese, that's far beyond your "regular" quesadilla, by far. All baked inside of a spinach tortilla. All of the components complimented each other well. I loved the bbq salsa, never had anything like that before. The right amount of cheese & I like it the tortilla was crisp around the edges. It came with a side salad, which I choose the oregano mint vinaigrette dressing to go along with it. Again, something that's not regular (as far as salad dressing goes). The good portion of salad just so you're not stuffing yourself (the quesadilla was enough as is). Now, by mentioning that there is an Italian quesadilla, I think it's only right to try that out as well.

Cosmos is a fun chill spot. Really good for a business or casual meeting with a friend. That usually have a martini on special for the week and the staff is friendly. The food choices are not the best but you can't have it all now can ya? LOL go check this place out.

I really like the ambiance of this place. Its very open and inviting. We were greeted and then shown to our seats right away. I'm not sure if they have a drink menu but we weren't offered one. The menu has a vast selection of sandwiches with cream cheese which seemed tasty but a little redundant. The waiter came over and he was nice enough, it was a bit off putting because he kept calling us dear. The food that was brought out was delicious, I recommend the potato salad. It didn't seem that busy but the waiter didn't come back to check on us until we were pretty much finished with out meals which was a bit of a let down. I like this place because of the food, however the service could use a little work.

I remember when this place was across from Woodland Hills Mall. I heard it was filled with high schoolers and I always thought the outside looked tacky, so I never had any desire to visit. Needless to say, I was SHOCKED when I drove by this location and saw its floor-to-ceiling windows. This place was SWANKY; I walked in and was immediately impressed. I ended up getting the Euro Beast. The avocado added a nice creamy-ness to the roast beef, but I was disappointed I couldn't taste the horseradish cream cheese - I expected more of a bite from the horseradish. Instead, I ended up opening up the sandwich to make sure they even put cream cheese on. As a side, I got the roasted red pepper, tomato, and gouda soup. Only complaint? It needs to come in a bigger bowl (especially if they're charging an extra $1.99 for you to add soup)!!! They also have weekly drink specials for $3.50 (go to their website and read their newsletter for the drink schedule) and shelves of games to play. If I ever need a place to take friends to chill, this is where we're going!

Great atmosphere and wonderful art to look at. The wait staff are pretty cool as well. I absolutely love their variety of food. Also I'm a big fan of flavored tea and they have about 20 of flavors and they bring you the syrup on the side so you can add as much or as little as you want. The price range is reasonable as well.

I liked the old location on Memorial because it was closer to where I lived, but it never seemed like they had an actual chef. The newer location has their stuff together! Great drinks, great food! The staff is pretty laid back, which is good and bad depending on if you're in a hurry. Overall I'm a fan of the current place, good job! Quick note on the food; I ordered the grilled cheese and roasted red pepper soup. Love the grilled cheese, but the soup was not my favorite. Most people seem to like it so maybe it's just my taste buds. The frenchbread pizzas are really good, and my husband loves the Thanksgiving sandwich!

My daughter and I enjoy having our mommy/daughter dates here. This is a very relaxing and airy place to sit, talk and play card games. The food and drinks are quality but they are a tad pricey. In my opinion, you get what you pay for. My daughter always orders the grilled cheese and tomato soup (On the main menu). The grilled cheese sandwich is very hardy as they add vegetables and such to it. They really put time in creating something out of ordinary. The soup isn't too bad either. I am not a fan of tomato soup but I can tolerate this version. I normally order the smoked salmon sandwich on a croissant with potato salad. I cannot say enough about it. So good! So refreshing! Warning: if you don't like onions, ask them to be left off of both. That is what I do! I enjoy that they have tea and coffee as well. Staff is pretty friendly. I have never encountered a sad face.

Food is excellent and right on price point and portion size. The nachos, meat & cheese tray, and grilled gouda cheese sandwich with tomato bisque soup are my favorites. The drink menu is well appointed and the bartenders are generous. The Green Tea and Lime Cosmo is perfect and refreshing during the summer. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting and parking is pretty easy considering the neighborhood.

Food is meh and they bring all their side condiments for dine-in in throw-away plastic ramekins. That's a foul in my book.

Food was all quite good. The Italian nachos were served on Tostitos scoops which was strange. Our server was a little dry but we lacked for nothing. Good food at a good price. The atmosphere is hard to grasp. Warm earth tone dècor but more casual foods for sure. Fast drinks service was delightful. We'll be back.

My friend and I went here for a drink and a snack around 4pm on a Saturday, so the place was pretty empty. We ordered the greek bruschetta and the garlic and mint labneh and it was so good!! Our waitress was really nice and even gave us a refill of pita bread and cuccumbers b/c we still had more labneh to finish. I also got a pina cosmo, which was delicious!!!

Looking for a patio dining experience? Looking for a board game dining experience? Look no further! Cosmo Cafe has your desire to make Words with Friends a real-life experience with scrabble boards of plenty. Gluten free, vegetarian & vegan options are on this menu which is an all around crowd-pleaser! Happy hour is well served everyday 2:00-7:00PM with some select beers for $1.50. If I was looking to take my grandpa and most hippy friend to dinner, this is where I would take them knowing they would each find something to thoroughly enjoy! Oh wait! Add my dog, Olof, to that equation as he would be welcome on the patio. There is a plethora of game boards you can take your pick from to bring to your table to play. So, GAME ON- Grandpa, hippy-pants & Olof... I'm gonna take your to a quadruple word score place.

The grilled cheese and tomato bell pepper Gouda soup is to die for! Their humus appetizer is fresh and delicious. Service was great, and the atmosphere was nice and conversational. I can't wait to go again!

Ok everyone, Cosmo is the best. The drink specials are amazing and so is the food. For starters, there is a weekly drink special with a $3.50 cosmo (they're usually 6-8$). It is always good (and strong)! My favorite is peach. No matter what the special for the week though, I always order it. And for those of you looking for a special that is a bit more "manly", don't worry, there is a weekly beer special too! Moving on to the food. For starters, I recommend the garlic labneh. If you haven't had this before it is kind of like Greek yogurt-y/cream cheese-y dip served with hot pita (don't worry if you run out of the pita, you can request more). I was skeptical trying it at first, but it is amazing. I get it every time I go. They have half and full size appetizer options. Also try the Italian nachos. I don't care if they use tostitos brand chips, it is delicious (made with red sauce, alfredo and all kinds of cheeses). Some great main dish menu Items include: Grilled cheese and tomato soup (it has SO MANY CHEESES!), Italian quesedilla, Normal Quesedilla, Lox sandwich (you have your choice of bread, and they recommend a baguette, but come on people! Get it on a bagel!). There are so many other dishes that I like, I may as well just recommend the whole menu. Don't forget to try the lentil soup if they have it! And before I wrap up this Cosmo-love-session, I would like to say a word about the atmosphere. I love it. It is very urban and cool, and they display local art! There is a giant community board for people to hang posters as well! Also for those of us who may not be so into sports, they have a strict no sports policy for their one TV at the bar. It is usually playing puppy shows. Who could ask for anything more?? P.S. The service is great.

A friend recommended this place to me, so I brought my entire family here when we were in town. (None of us are Tulsa natives; my friend lived here for a spell as an ORU student.) We found prime parking in the lot in the back (good to know, as those coming in off Peoria will try to find street parking when there's plenty in the back!) and were one of two tables seated at the restaurant. The food was good. That is the only good thing I can say in this review of Cosmo, as the service was awful. It must be a one-off thing, since it was recommended so highly by my friend, but what a terrible first impression to make! Some of us ordered drip coffee; it was not good. Our waitress brought them out one by one with over-full pitchers of creamer that spilled everywhere. We ordered our food -- once again, as one of the TWO seated tables, and with an abundance of workers dancing near the hostess stand -- and waited for AN HOUR for it to show up. Even while others who arrived after us received their food. Four of us work in the food industry and know that this isn't the way to treat customers. One talked to a worker and this is how their conversation went: We've been waiting for a while.... "Oh, yeah, we're slammed with to-go orders. We have 35." That doesn't matter. We're seated in your restaurant. We've been waiting for an hour for 5 sandwiches and a salad. THAT IS NOT OKAY. "Well, [dude] isn't even supposed to be here today! But he's here." DOESN'T MATTER. I don't care if you have FIFTY workers who aren't supposed to be here today but are working. We were seated before only one other group in the restaurant before all these other people arrived, and now they've gotten their food but we're still waiting. What gives? "Well, sorry." They felt chagrined enough to give us a discount on our entire meal, probably because one of us bitched. Maybe we just fell through the cracks. I don't know. All I know is that we were pretty disappointed by what could have been a delicious and good experience.

Cosmos is a great place to hang out for a hot sandwich, bowl of soup and a beer on a Saturday afternoon. They also have a great patio in the summertime. The reason for my 3-stars is mainly because of the level of service I have received at dinner time. During the last several dinners here with 4-6 other people, service has been slow, orders have been wrong and our waiter/waitress has failed to check up on us during the meal. I like the decor and food is tasty so I don't want to discourage others from trying this place, but you might want to consider it a better quick lunch lunch spot than for dinner. If you do go, I highly recommend the red pepper and Gouda soup and the curried chicken salad sandwich. It's my go-to every time!

I love the food at cosmos and usually love to recommend it to people, but this week I took some friends and it was a total nightmare. We had two babies with us, so we decided to eat lunch at 11:30 to beat the rush. We sat at our table for 20 minutes before anyone even got our drink order. The service was so slow and I has to keep tracking down our waitress for every little thing. I was embarrassed that I had brought friends there. The food there is delicious, though! All of the pizzas and salads and the Italian quesadilla are all great. Maybe we just caught them on an off service day.

I was pleasantly surprised to find this place. I've passed through Tulsa a few times this past year, and I have to say the city, with it's running/bicycle trails is a pleasant surprise, and from what I'm gathering, the Peoria Ave scene is where it's at. I came in after a nice run on the nearby trail, and ordered the reuben and potato salad and a cappuccino. The potato salad was fresh, and the red onions made it pop. The reuben was also tasty. Coming from foodie Austin, I was not expecting a lot and was most pleasantly surprised.

First off, Cosmo's egg salad is divine. Their Mediterranean Salad is superb. However, both times I have visited I have been seated near the front windows. In the winter, it is FREEZING over there. Cosmo--get the temperature right and this would be an easy 5 stars!

Very nice place! The food is always good. My favorite would be the Italian nachos. The quesadillas are excellent too. They have the best cosmos I've ever tasted, anywhere. The bartenders are amazing! This place is also great for kids. Highly recommended!

If you don't mind very slow service with an "I don't care" attitude, this is the place to be. We were early for lunch on a Saturday along with about 10 others. So why does it take 35 min to cook up a chicken quesadilla, that tuned out to be dry and hardly warm? We WONT be going back.

Love the Sampler Platter with the egg, tuna and curry chicken salads. There is way more than enough food for two. My hubby and I love the hummus as well. I tried a chai latte (usually go for the coffee) and it seemed a little on the cold side and not very spicy. Still pretty good tho.

One of my favorite places for lunch! Some of my favorites are the roast beef bites, the quesadillas, nachos ... And just about any sandwich on the menu. If you are wanting a cocktail, Stuart, the bartender has won many awards for his creations.

Went to Cosmos tonight for the first time. I had heard rave reviews from a good friend and another friend suggested it tonight. Server informed us the kitchen was running behind. We were ok with this. We also ordered water and drinks. We waited and waited for our water and drinks for an extremely long time. We had to run the waiter down twice and was told he would go get them, only to have him walk back and stand around the cash register. Finally we asked him again for him to rudely inform us they had no clean glasses. I then informed the manager about his rudeness and lack of communication. We finally got our water for four instead of five and our drinks. When our food finally arrived my soup was not hot, but my waiter did not come back to check. When we finally ran him down to ask for our checks he had to come ask us what we had and still got the tickets wrong and got rude with two of the women. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO COSMOS.

Cosmo is an absolute gem in Brookside. Locally owned, staffed by friendly and competent bar tenders and wait staff, it is a fantastic place to go for a romantic dinner, or a family lunch. The menu is varied, and it is easy to find something healthy like the brown rice salad. Of course, it's also easy to give in to the French bread pizzas and grilled cheese with tomato soup! You can't go wrong here. Bring the kids for lunch and grab one of the board games to play while you wait, or bring the significant other for a romantic dinner with great food and good wine.

Probably one of the best places to get nachos! Their almost traditional nachos are SO good I can't resist getting them whenever I come. Also, their Cosmos are wonderful-especially if you get them during their "Cosmo of the week" deal! :) It's a fun atmosphere. Always nice for a girls night out or just to get a little appetizer and drink!

Fun little place. I found the food to be a super interesting little menu (Italian nachos, basically - wow!) and a fun place to be. Dessert was nothing to turn down either. Service could have been a little better, but it was super busy. I have to say that if I lived in Tulsa, this would be one of those places I sit and hang for hours at. Anyone who has mint chocolate chip ice cream on a warm cookie and board games... you've got my vote!

Get the nachos with everything on them. They are so good it's as if you were high while eating them. I call them Stoned Nachos. Finish it off with the the Guinness Brownie. Oh my Guinness...

Loved it!

This was our first time here. The food was fantastic but Stewart the bartender was even better. Sit at the bar and enjoy a really great conversation. Tulsa should be proud.

(4)Matthew L.
(2)Matt D.

Great food and drink. Fun atmosphere. We like sitting outdoors, but indoors are fun too. Love the bar. Great kids food options, but cool vibe for adults.

One of the best places to unwind after work with friends! Good music, relaxed atmosphere and great food - wide variety.
(4)Tom U.

(5)Paige M.

Good sandwich. I had ham and brie, yummy. Our waitress was hot too. Cool atmosphere.

(I haven't tried the Cosmo on Peoria yet so hopefully the service their is better)

great happy hour specials!! my boyfriend really enjoys the beer selection. i love the food; he calls it "hippy food" and wishes there were burgers on the menu, but i think it's great. love the atmosphere. i recently had the ham-and-brie sandwich and it was to die for. great desserts too!

Great food and drink. Fun atmosphere. We like sitting outdoors, but indoors are fun too. Love the bar. Great kids food options, but cool vibe for adults.

One of the best places to unwind after work with friends! Good music, relaxed atmosphere and great food - wide variety.
(4)Tom U.

Great food had nachos and the pizza was so good . There drinks where also pretty tasty great place to stop at for lunch I would defiantly ask for Maurice to be the server :)

(5)Phillip M.
I'm a big fan of the salmon plate.

This is a great place! Awesome food and superlative service! I love everything that I've ordered from them so far from their chicken quesadillas to all sorts of salads. My toddler loves it there, too!
(5)Kate J.
(4)Kim H.
This is a Tulsa staple! Incredible food and really good prices! Board games and Free wifi are a bonus!! The bartender has won Tulsa's best many times.

One of my favorite places ever! So chill, fun, great waitstaff and delicious food. I've been eating here for 9 years.

(4)Gary M.
(3)Tess M.
Cosmos is a fun chill spot. Really good for a business or casual meeting with a friend. That usually have a martini on special for the week and the staff is friendly. The food choices are not the best but you can't have it all now can ya? LOL go check this place out.
(3)Candice R.

(4)Timmy T.
Called. They said come. Showed up 10 minutes till close. What are posted hours? Nobody knows and They wouldn't serve us!? Soooo.....I tried again recently. This place has absolutely terrible food. Yikes. Try harder? Maybe the owners could eat out in a different city and see how other chefs do? Bad Food. Yikes. Bad, yucky crap
(1)Jessica S.
(4)Courtney E.
(4)Erica W.
(4)Rebecca N.
(5)Sarah S.
Food is meh and they bring all their side condiments for dine-in in throw-away plastic ramekins. That's a foul in my book.
(2)Kindt M.
(4)S D.
(4)Sarah M.
(5)Tricia N.
The grilled cheese and tomato bell pepper Gouda soup is to die for! Their humus appetizer is fresh and delicious. Service was great, and the atmosphere was nice and conversational. I can't wait to go again!
(5)Alayna D.

(2)Jessica J.
(3)George R.
This was our first time here. The food was fantastic but Stewart the bartender was even better. Sit at the bar and enjoy a really great conversation. Tulsa should be proud.
(5)Maren C.
(3)Frank W.
(5)K D.
First off, Cosmo's egg salad is divine. Their Mediterranean Salad is superb. However, both times I have visited I have been seated near the front windows. In the winter, it is FREEZING over there. Cosmo--get the temperature right and this would be an easy 5 stars!
(4)Susan B.
Very nice place! The food is always good. My favorite would be the Italian nachos. The quesadillas are excellent too. They have the best cosmos I've ever tasted, anywhere. The bartenders are amazing! This place is also great for kids. Highly recommended!
(5)Gayle J.
If you don't mind very slow service with an "I don't care" attitude, this is the place to be. We were early for lunch on a Saturday along with about 10 others. So why does it take 35 min to cook up a chicken quesadilla, that tuned out to be dry and hardly warm? We WONT be going back.
(2)Michelle D.
We came in from out of town and never would have found this if not for the yelp reviews. We had fantastic service and the food was amazing. The s'mores dessert was just icing on the cake. Great location and loved the patio. Will definitely be back!
(5)Patty D.
Love the Sampler Platter with the egg, tuna and curry chicken salads. There is way more than enough food for two. My hubby and I love the hummus as well. I tried a chai latte (usually go for the coffee) and it seemed a little on the cold side and not very spicy. Still pretty good tho.
(4)Angelene W.
One of my favorite places for lunch! Some of my favorites are the roast beef bites, the quesadillas, nachos ... And just about any sandwich on the menu. If you are wanting a cocktail, Stuart, the bartender has won many awards for his creations.
(5)LindaKay M.
(1)Jessica C.
(5)Aarika B.
(5)Brandy C.

Great happy hour! When I went they had $2 Boulevard Wheat. There food is amazing, too! I had a small appetizer of Italian Nachos and it was great and at a good price point.

One of my favorite places ever! So chill, fun, great waitstaff and delicious food. I've been eating here for 9 years.

(2)Candice L.
(4)Matthew L.
(2)Matt D.
Wife and I went for appetizers and drinks. Hummus was very good. We sat at the bar and enjoyed the setting. It wasn't loud or smokey like many places along Brookside. We will have to try the cafe part during the day.
(4)Christine A.
This is a great place! Awesome food and superlative service! I love everything that I've ordered from them so far from their chicken quesadillas to all sorts of salads. My toddler loves it there, too!

(4)Valerie Y.
Loved it!
(4)Kate J.
(4)Rachel S.
(4)Myles D.
Great food had nachos and the pizza was so good . There drinks where also pretty tasty great place to stop at for lunch I would defiantly ask for Maurice to be the server :)
(4)Occom P.
(5)Gary M.
(3)Tess M.
Cosmos is a fun chill spot. Really good for a business or casual meeting with a friend. That usually have a martini on special for the week and the staff is friendly. The food choices are not the best but you can't have it all now can ya? LOL go check this place out.
(3)Candice R.

(4)Timmy T.
(4)Courtney E.
(4)Kim H.
This is a Tulsa staple! Incredible food and really good prices! Board games and Free wifi are a bonus!! The bartender has won Tulsa's best many times.
(5)Erica W.
(4)Rebecca N.
(5)Sarah S.
Food is meh and they bring all their side condiments for dine-in in throw-away plastic ramekins. That's a foul in my book.
(2)Kindt M.
(4)S D.
(4)Sarah M.
(5)Tricia N.
The grilled cheese and tomato bell pepper Gouda soup is to die for! Their humus appetizer is fresh and delicious. Service was great, and the atmosphere was nice and conversational. I can't wait to go again!
(5)Alayna D.
(5)Frank W.
(2)Elissa S.
(2)Jessica J.
(3)George R.
This was our first time here. The food was fantastic but Stewart the bartender was even better. Sit at the bar and enjoy a really great conversation. Tulsa should be proud.
(5)Maren C.
(3)Angelene W.
One of my favorite places for lunch! Some of my favorites are the roast beef bites, the quesadillas, nachos ... And just about any sandwich on the menu. If you are wanting a cocktail, Stuart, the bartender has won many awards for his creations.
(5)LindaKay M.
(1)Jessica C.
(5)Aarika B.
(5)Brandy C.
(4)Phillip M.
I'm a big fan of the salmon plate.
(4)Natalie D.
Get the nachos with everything on them. They are so good it's as if you were high while eating them. I call them Stoned Nachos. Finish it off with the the Guinness Brownie. Oh my Guinness...
(4)Lonna M.
Great happy hour! When I went they had $2 Boulevard Wheat. There food is amazing, too! I had a small appetizer of Italian Nachos and it was great and at a good price point.
(4)Jeff C.
Great little place....mostly a college/yuppie scene from what I can gather. Food was good. Had the curry chicken salad sandwich which had good flavor but was a bit dry. The lentil soup was outstanding.
(4)Laurie B.
Love the food, great staff, and that I can bring the pups too!
(4)Lisa C.
(5)Joe C.
I've been to this place dozens of times and the wait staff never disappoints. Great salads. Awesome Hummus. Stellar Employees. Sweet Mixed Drinks. Really cool atmosphere. #winning
(5)Brian B.
(3)Dayana P.
I like this place. I love that they never play sports games. Their TVs show things like Lost and of course on mute. They have lots of board games to choose from and play. The food is good, but the drinks are great! It is not too loud so you can actually carry a conversation.
(4)Martina S.
(4)Brett P.
Excellent menu for food and drink. The build your own sandwich/salad menus are excellent. Service is great and the atmosphere is very relaxed. Enjoy trivial pursuit or any number of games while you are there. The italian nachos are excellent.
(5)Tony D.
