Five Stars... BAM!!! I got 22oz of prime rib medium rare. Fantastic! Our waiter did a good job. But there are more words in the vocabulary than awesome.

Very good Center Cut 7 ounce steak. Baked potato is huge so I only had half. Asked them for a special dessert order not on the menu (easy one) - berries and whipped cream. Wait staff is energetic and work together to expedite the orders from the kitchen. Manager took my empty plate. Another manager asked me how my steak was. 1st manager came by towards the end of the meal and asked me how my meal was as well. Attentive, tasty, and enjoyable. I can highly recommend this to those staying at the Hyatt Place in Tulsa by Yale. It is right down the road within walking distance.

My husband and I stopped at Charleston's for an early dinner on our way thru Tulsa. We were looking for a steakhouse and Charleston's didn't disappoint. The hardwood grilled steak and pork chops were delicious, very juicy and good flavor. Service was excellent, very attentive.

Been here half a dozen times in the last 2 years. Always have dinner at the bar. Food is good value, service "Ho hum". Ok place.

For the money, Charleston's is hard to beat. Has a good upscale feel to it. Food is good. One solid piece of advice. Have waiters write orders down, there is no shame doing so and u will get it right more often. Staff does always right the order, but it's an extra step that's not necessary. Will return

Last night I sat down at the bar and ordered a Bombay white label martini, up, one part vermouth, two parts gin with a twist. The barista looked confused and said: "Gee, I,d better write this down.". I repeated the order slowly, as he wrote it down on a cocktail napkin! Then he said: "And of course you,ll want some raspberry." Thinking he was attempting a joke, I nevertheless answered: "Not on your life, just a twist, if you please." Five minutes later he returned with a martini glass filled with an ugly dark red liquid! "What on earth is that?", said I. The hapless barista was speechless! Fortunately, his talented partner, a young lady and an experienced barista, quickly mixed my martini. Please, send your new baristas to school to learn how to mix basic cocktails!

We have started the take out feature at Charleston's lately. They have really got that system down. They have some reserved parking in the back and someone comes out to greet you when you pull in, and show you the bill. Once you are 'checked in' they go back and get your food when it is ready and bring it out with your receipt. Everything is packaged perfectly and I am surprised how warm everything stays. I guess the only improvement that I could wish for would be the ability to order it online. But the people on the phone are a joy to work with so I guess I would miss that human connection. Highly recommend.

Best prime rib in the United States of... the World! Excellent service, excellent everything. 5 stars all day every day into infinity. That's why you better recognize. They run this place like a well oiled machine.

So yelp says they are closed on Sunday but they aren't. Anyways Charleston's is like your regular American restaurant. The decor is modern with dim lighting and there is a full bar. Our waitress was nice, however, we didn't see her often and we had other people waiting on us instead. We only saw her at the beginning and end. The staff was however very friendly and attentive with our drinks. I always rate highly on the staff if my drink is not empty and I have to ask for a refill. So I tried the bake potato soup. It was delicious and really taste like a loaded potato. Creamy and had the right consistency. My main meal was the roasted chicken. It was a bit dry but other then it was very good. The bake beans were a little too sweet for my taste. The best part for me was that they split our checks! I had a group of 5 and being from Californian this doesn't happen often so I was glad. Overall I really enjoyed my dinner and I would come back here.

Exellent dinner. We were very surprised and pleased! Baked chicken and swordfish were excellent. The fish came with a mango relish sauce that was very tasty. Last, if you get desert, share! My husband and I couldn't finish a piece of key-lime pie between the two of us.

It was one of the long, arduous Wednesdays with seemingly no end in sight. After work all I wanted to do was to use the last "free" pizza from my TulsaDailyDeals pizza card at Naples Flatbread, to help boost my spirits. Instead, pulled into the parking lot to see a sign posted on the door that the 71st street location was closed because they were focusing their business interests to the downtown area. Nothing ever goes my way. "Every day and night. Everything's alright. At Charleston's everything's alright!" Well I didn't have anything at home to cook and I was already out, so I started considering my options, in the area. Quizno's? Not feeling it. McNellies? I want to eat decent food, not drink my sorrows away. McDonald's? I don't need it. Hey, I've seen the commercials for years and I've heard decent things. I could try Charleston's, except that the immediate seating available sign isn't lit. I'll probably just have to go home and snack on saltines and make myself a salad. What's that? You can seat two and a baby right away. "Every day and night. Everything's alright. At Charleston's everything's alright!" Whoa hey an $18 French Dip sandwich. I love French Dip's, but I don't know if I'm $18 in love. Whoa! Did that server just walk by with a chicken fried steak the size of a serving plate. "Every day and night" Oh look, for an extra $4, I can get a decent sized portion of prime rib, a side and a salad. "Everything's alright" Salad was a pretty good, hard to mess up a caesar salad, though. This croissant like roll is fantastic. Also the prime rib is perfectly warm and pink, not over cooked in anyway and not just half of piece of fat with the rest being lean, however it appears that they were a little heavy handed with the herb rub. "At Charleston's everything's alright!" Garlic smashed potatoes are tasty. And it it's dark enough in here that I can drink the au jus without too many people noticing. "Hey soul sister. Ain't that Mr. mister. On the radio, stereo. The way you move ain't fair, you know." Wait what? Anyways, glad I finally made the journey. A bit high priced but you pay for good quality. It maintains the slightly upscale atmosphere that you used to be able to get at a Houlihan's. Definitely a place to return, if I want to impress the in-laws, but not too much so. "EVERY DAY AND NIGHT! EVERYTHING'S ALRIGHT! AT CHARLESTON'S EVERYTHING'S ALRIGHT!!!!!!!!!!"

So, sometimes lunch dates during the workday stress me out. If I have an hour, I don't want to worry about lines, slow service and just becoming all around anxious. This Charleston's is a fantastic spot to schedule that lunch date to eliminate all aforementioned fears. There's plenty of parking, seating (I think we only waited 3 minutes for a comfortable booth,) and all around calmness to get away from your workday. The lighting is dim and feels special. And, the service: top notch. You can tell they make a true effort to hustle during the lunch rush to accommodate people on a time limit. I had the Kale salad; it was generous in portion size and the dressing was just right -not too zesty or overdone. It even came with a lightly glazed croissant which accompanied it perfectly. Can't wait to come back to this location for a true break!

Almost had a fist fight tonight with my husband over the last piece of shrimp in the "Shrimp Cargo." I took the last one and he protested loudly that it was "MINE!!!" He threatened to call the manager on me so I relented and - SADLY - forked it over. My Lord, that is the best dish in the world!! We can't go more than 3 weeks without it. I had to stick to my tried and true favorite, the small prime rib, and as usual, it was delicious! Husband loves the delicious hot croissant rolls. [I don't eat bread so I have to pass, but it sure is hard!] We really love this place and come here often.

Beautiful & Delicious! Curtious staff and clean environment! Took my fiancé here for a new experience & I'm so glad I did. Our waitor Shawn was very nice and very punctual at making sure our drinks stay full and fresh throughout our entire visit. The lighting was dim but perfect and every table has its own little lamp on the side which adds a romantic touch. We ordered an appetizer of chips & queso then we both got the chicken fried steakes with drinks and it came out to $43.41 which isn't bad considering the chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes took up almost the entire plate. Our side of steakhouse beans was sweet with a hint of spice which wasn't too hot. The breading covering the steak was delicious and crunchy...overall our experience was worth every penny and we will be back again and we will be sure to ask for Shawn.

Fantastic food, great staff but so very noisey. We were there on a Saturday night and we decided we would try again at a less busy time. The steak was like butter! Bill was $80 for 2 people with drinks and appetizers with both of us having steak and I got the desert to go.

In Tulsa on a business trip and decided to check out this place that was close by my hotel. Walked in and was seated immediately. Place was decently decorated and ambiance geared toward a business dining environment. Servers and wait staff properly trained in knowing their selections Glanced at the menu and decided to go with a classic: the chicken fried steak along with a bowl of creamy chicken soup. Soup was warm and inviting, thick and creamy with generous amounts of chocked and veggies. Not too salty or over powering. Chicken Fried Steak certainly did not disappoint. Plate and portions were gigantic. Batter coating was adequate, not too thick or thin. Dish was covered with a brown garlic aoli rue that complimented the dish. Underneath was house made mashed potatoes with the red potato skin ground in. On the side, the thick cut carrots were covered in a brown sugar caramel glaze that was mouthwatering. Ended the night feeling stuffed. Would definitely recommend to try the place out, certainly would not break the bank.

This place is worthy of return visits. This place reminds me of a place called J. Alexander. Waiters dressed in black, cozy atmosphere, but food prices aren't outrageous. I had the prime rib, and my mom had the chicken fried steak. My prime rib was good, but middle of the pack, as I expected, but my mom's chicken fried steak was extraordinary. The gravy eaten with the steak and mashed potato was divine. Service was great, atmosphere was relaxing, and food was delicious.

Always exception service and excellent food. The menu is so varied that anyone can find something they like. The fresh fish is always good and you can't pass up the baked potato soup. Only complaint is they keep bringing you water, tea, etc. whether you want it or not.

This place had really great food, what I got wasn't as good as the other people I was with. I got the French Dip, I felt like they piled the meat up too high, and the meat was just one big slice, although it was still good. Another person I was with got a Salmon Caesar Salad, I tried some of the salmon and it was legitimately the best salmon I've ever had, if I would have gotten the salmon I would have rated this 5 stars, the salmon would just melt in your mouth. When I was ordering my food I asked the waiter what he would recommend, he gave at least 7 great things that everyone loved from here, including the salmon. We had a hard time narrowing it down to what we truly wanted. I also love the selection of this place it ranges anywhere between steaks to hamburgers, it has just about everything, I highly recommend this place, although it says $$ I would actually say it's more of a $$$. But if your willing to pay for a fantastic memorable meal, this is the place!

We love the south Tulsa Charleston's location, food is always fresh and tasty, drinks are great, atmosphere is pleasing and always clean. The wait staff is attentive and friendly. We call often for carry out and the serving portions are the same as dining in. Excellent choice for lunch or dinner.

This is my wife and my favorite restaurant for the price. Excellent service and something on the menu for everyone. Beat healthy stuff in the area and the best fatty stuff in the area. Bread pudding is amazing, chicken fries steak with black pepper chipotle gravy is the best for fatty cheat day, all the salads are great for quick healthy lunch. I wish it was a little cheaper but they make up for it with the 'guest is always right we can modify anything' service. Steak sandwich is prime rib but pricey.

  • Glen M.

Excellent server - can't say that loud enough. Wish I could be sure I remembered her name correctly but I think it was Christa (or Krista?). If you are ever thirsty when you eat, you won't be at Charleston's. I don't think the glass of anyone in our party ever got below 1/2 before another full glass appeared. Our server explained the specials, along with the pricing and was able to tell us the contents and/or ingredients of each item we asked about. One of our party is a little hard of hearing and the server notice this right away and leaned in to speak directly to him. Raising her voice slightly so he could clearly understand the information she was giving. The only possible negative, even though it is probably designed this way, is that it is a bit dark inside and also has a high crowd noise level. So, if you are attending lunch here with someone with hearing aides and/or hard of hearing, you may have a hard time with your lunch conversation. But, the food is well worth it. Large portions, very nice presentation and very good flavor. A bit pricey but if you go with someone who likes the same things as you, order one meal and share. Or, if you order one entrée each, be prepared to take some home for later. Hope you have as good of an experience as we did. Enjoy!

I ate there yesterday with friends and I really think they have the key to success when it comes to serving people. My drink was never empty and they were always there to offer assistance, but not over-aggressive about it. The catfish was awesome and the salads are always great. I wish I had room to finish my cole slaw or order desert but it wasn't meant to be.

Wow. This place was a total disappointment. No variety on the menu. The wait was long. Then when we were seated the bench was broke. The table was extremely close. And it took forever to just get drinks. The menu seriously lacks. The wine menu is bigger than the food menu. We ended up leaving because nothing looked good.

I went here on an anniversary date. First let me say that Charleston's has fantastic world class service! Possible the best service that I have ever received at any restaurant before. We were seated promptly and the wait staff and servers were all prompt and attentive. You can see that they work as a cohesive team and anyone of them walking by whom notices anything amiss on your table will take care of it immediately. The staff refilled my glass and removed plates before I even had to think about it. They did not wait for our waiter to service the table. If anyone walked by and saw a need they just executed excellent service each and every time perfectly. I have been spoiled now and all future restaurant will be compared against the Golden Standard of service that is at Charleston's. I ordered the pork chops and mash potatoes on the recommendation of a Tulsa local. The pork chops were succulent grilled PERFECTION, a tad salty but still the best pork chops I have ever been served. The mash potatoes were also creamy and perfectly seasoned. Want to see what fine dining that Tulsa has to offer? Charleston's is the place to go if you want to show off.

First time I'd been to Charleston's in a long time We had the grilled chicken and avocado club sandwich at lunch. Delicious and way too much food! We could have easlly split the sandwich and left full. The service was quick and courteous. I'll be back, sooner next time.

Yes, we returned our last night in Tulsa, instead of going to Mahogany's next door for a steak. Both got the chicken-fried steak and were not disappointed, again. The same waiter took care of us, and finished our one-and-only trip to Tulsa with a bread pudding that was also wonderful. Thank you, Dana P. for your funny review that brought us here !

I travel a lot and I can say hands down the best wait staff service outside of a 5 star restaurant. Everyone works together and makes sure you are taken care of. Oh, the food is good too. It is a must...

$17 dollar sandwich. Really. That's a thing. Think about that for a minute. I'll wait. I know.... I KNOW! Astonishing, isn't it? I was perplexed when I saw it on the menu. Luckily, we were there via an anniversary gift card. There's no way this guy is gonna spend $17 freaking dollars on a French Dip Sandwich. Heck....I can get a perfectly good French Dip at Arby's...with a drink and curly fries for $7 bucks. What on earth would compel someone to have the audacity to even put that on the menu? INT. DIMLY LIT ROOM WITH CUBAN CIGAR SMOKE SWIRLING ABOUT Executive 1: Here's what we need. A $17 dollar sandwich. Executive 2: BRILLIANT!!! Both: MANIACAL LAUGHTER AS THEY PUT OUT CIGARS WITH WADS OF $100 BILLS That's how it happens. And here...right here is the real kicker.... It's worth it. Holy crap. I just endorsed a $17 dollar sandwich. God help my soul. It's delicious, people. From the tender, almost melt-in-your-mouthness of the prime cut beef, to the perfect brininess of the au jus....just perfect. And garlic mashed potatoes on the side. Brilliant is an understatement. It makes me want to enroll back in college, get a masters, then doctorate, then be head hunted by the wealthiest, fat cat corporations in the world just to be able to justify spending $17 dollars on a sandwich for every meal. THAT's how good a $17 dollar sandwich can be, person who was asking themselves, "just how good can a $17 dollar sandwich be?" Hint: that was me while looking at the menu. My wife got fish or something. I can't tell you anything about that. If you go here...just get the $17 dollar sandwich. You won't be disappointed. Until you have to consider selling a kidney to be able to eat it again. And again. And again. And again...

This is a really dependably good chain restaurant. The vibe is a little upscale but still casual. We've always had really good service, and the food has been great. I recently ordered chicken fingers that came with only half the breading on them. I asked the waitress if that was normal. She said it wasn't--ordered me a new batch and comp'ed the dish without me complaining or asking her to. The french dip sandwich is delicious. This restaurant is very similar to Houston's/Hillstone if you've ever been to Houston or Dallas.

So I tried this place twice and my experiences where completely different. On my first go around I order the Chicken Fried Steak. It was on the favorites section so I just knew It would be great... Unfortunately, the breading was over powering the meat 10-1. My second meal was so much better! We order the Shrimp Escargot for our appetizer...DELICIOUS! Then we all got the tilapia for the main course... Also a slam dunk! The service was pretty awesome, so I would say it's a great restaurant just stay away from the chicken fried steak. :-)

I really like this place! I came in exhausted from moving, but the wonderful smells of the place immediately made me hungry. The staff was very friendly, helpful and kind. My father had the ribs and said they were the absolute best. He got the baked beans as a side. He is used to bbq and sugar in baked beans. he said these were like a "culture shock". He couldn't decide if he liked them or not because they were just so different. I did not have the chance to try them. My mother had a pasta dish with chicken, peppers and many vegetables. I do not know what it was called but it was wonderful and I ate all the leftovers. I had a sandwich with chicken, bacon, avocado, bean sprouts, tomato, on bread. I really liked this sandwich, but could only eat half. The french fries as a side were good. I was craving a drink, they don't the beer selection available at McNellie's next door, but their peach bellini is to die for! The only thing I wasn't crazy about here is the noise level. I found myself yelling to talk to my parents who were across the table because it was so noisy. I will certainly come back here! The food is so wonderful I don't think I can stay away.

We ordered two meals to go We were told it would be about 25 minutes. The meal was paid for and while we were waiting we were asked three different times if we had been helped and twice management came out to find out why we were waiting so long. Ultimately the ticket got lost and and they had to start again. My credit card was voided and we received $50 in gift certificates to Charleston's. Bravo.

Get your nom-nom on at Charlestons! Immediate seating on a Saturday night. Nice lighting. Great steak. Baked potato is delicious. Bread pudding is amazing. Coffee is good too. Spinach and article dill is so so. Salads are eh. Overall a nice dinner experience. The waitstaff was great and my steak was a perfect medium rare.

I really like Charleston's. My family has their Christmas family reunion here usually a week after Christmas and it's always great! My Grandpa's brother is neighbors with the owner and says that they are nothing but really nice people! I have had the prime rib, the rib eye, and the blackened chicken caesar salad. All three were above and beyond. The service matched that as well. I have eaten here many times & I have never been disappointed! Its is a little higher priced for what it is though. It's a nicer, more elegant, no peanuts texas roadhouse...kinda. Maybe that was a little mean. If you're from Tulsa it's more along the lines of a nicer Longhorn. I like it!

I went to Charleston's with a group of 6 & knew it was going to be a rough experience the moment we arrived. At almost 9 pm the place wasn't a third full & it took 3 people 5 minutes to figure out where to seat us. Very dim lights, which is nice mood lighting for date night, but difficult to see the menu at times. One of the people in the party was sat directly under a down air vent - burr (plus chills the entree quickly)!! Two of us ordered the house chardonnay & after everyone else in the group received their sodas, 10 minutes had passed & we inquired about our wine & the waiter said, "yeah, yeah it's on the way" (waving his hand around). Another 10 minutes passed & the wine arrived - did they have to squeeze the grapes out back? The serving was TINY & insulting, appearing to be maybe 4 oz at best. We even inquired about the serving size & the wait staff blamed it on the new wine glasses - really? I wasn't born yesterday!?!?! The menu is very limited & pricey - this is Tulsa not Dallas! Two of the people in our party are vegetarians & the only option was a house salad without bacon & a veggie side. I'm not vegetarian, but understood their frustration. The food was decent, but servings were small for the money - just like the wine. I had the salmon Caesar salad & the salmon was very small for the money. I considered buying the french dip, but for $17 - that's insane! I won't be back, waste of money & snotty wait staff too. I forced my party to leave 15% tip, which I think is an insult now days, but they wanted to leave 10%. Charleston - if you are reading this, you need to train your staff & expand your menu, plus pour decent drinks - get real, I live in Dallas & this place would last less than 3 months in Dallas. Potential yes, but that's it. Don't waste your time.

The good reviews this place gets have me somewhat perplexed. I wandered into the restaurant on a whim the other night and deeply regret the decision. My wife order a prime rib sandwich and what came out was an entire steak sitting on a bun for no obvious reason. To top it off it was one of the worst steaks I've ever seen. There was more fat than meat and their idea of medium well was still bleeding as you sliced into it. Not helping matters was their very small but very pricey menu and the waitress who was on another planet as she was taking our order. As for the positives, well it's dark inside. It helps when you have a headache I suppose. It also holds some strange appeal to the over 60 crowd. We were the only people other than the staff in the building under that age marker.

  • Courtney E.

Great service, great food! The staff is really good about making sure you have drink refills - maybe even a little too much (they usually bring me a fresh iced tea before i'm even halfway done with my first one). I recommend the Roasted Chicken, if they're not out (yes, sometimes they sell out, it's THAT good), and some honey croissants for an appetizer. Mmm! Their honey glazed carrots are amazing! Good sized portions, big enough to share with someone or take home for dinner the next night. Definitely go during an off dinner time, or you might have a bit of a wait. Great for a romantic night out or dinner with your family.

This place isn't too bad. Last time we went, it was mediocre. However, their baked potato soup is to die for! Their pick-up service is awful. I have gone to the Yale location AND the Brookside location to pick up food and it is so confusing! The first time (at the Yale location), I waited in my car by the pick-up door for a while, then got out and knocked on the door. They gave me my food, but told me next time to wait in my car and they'd bring it out to me...that is excactly what I did, but they didn't bring it out. The second time (at the Brookside location), I did the same thing, but after waiting a while, I called and they told me to pull up to the door. I did. Nothing happened. So I went inside the main enterance to pick it up instead. Very confusing and it makes me mad that they don't help at all.

From the moment we arrived I loved this restaurant. It is obviously somehow related to my favorite chain restaurant HOUSTON'S because of the menu, decor, staff and excellent consistent quality. The menu has something for everyone and each item is done right. Very pleasant waitress, friendly yet professional.Baked beans are to die for, BBQ ribs just delicious, ceasar salads wonderful and thoroughly enjoyed my long island iced tea. Having these restaurants in Tulsa is a great asset and can't wait to come back!

The restaurant has a nice, warm and cozy feel to it. Service is prompt and friendly. The food serves in very big portion at a reasonable price. Although, I have to admit the food caries no flavor. But if you're hungry or meeting with big groups, it is a decent place to have get-togethers.

I really like Charleston's. We've been for lunch and dinner and have always enjoyed our food there. Last week, my boyfriend had the pork chops and I had the prime rib sandwich, which I found to be delicious. It was an entire piece of prime rib on a roll and it was so tender I barely had to chew. In the past, I've also enjoyed their salads and chicken sandwiches and best of all they make the best spinach and artichoke dip EVER. I also really like the dark atmosphere, I always feel very comfortable in there and I feel like it is a great environment to have quiet conversation. Every Charleston's I've visited has had quite a crowd, and there is definitely a reason for that.

No, this isn't the snazziest place in T-Town (do I sound old or what?!), but Charleston's has a broad menu of affordable dishes and a consistency that can't be beat. From the food to the service, you always can count on solid quality, even on a busy night. It's our favorite night-out spot, satisfying both surf and turf desires in a nice setting. We actually like the steaks better here than their much pricier cousins next door at Mahogany's! Very good and very dependable.

It might be a chain but this is one of the best restaurants in Tulsa. The atmosphere/decor is great and the service is usually impeccable unless it is overflowing with people, but this place's strength is the food itself. Awesome bacon ranch cheese fries for starters. Then then "Walt's Champagne Chicken Salad" is an incredible main course salad with a smoked chicken, strawberries, figs, feta cheese and many other ingredients, blended with a champagne vinaigrette that is amazing. Best salad ever. We also regularly get the Chicken Piccata, the Baked Chicken, or the "fall-off-the-bone" babyback ribs. It also sounds stupid to say it, but their croissants, often served on the side, are amazing as well. Our favorite dessert there is the Key Lime Pie, which they get from Mahogany next door. This is one of those places where literally everything on the menu is great though. You will eat well here.

I think this is a great restaurant. All around good food, ranging from a burger or salad, to prime rib. Nice atmosphere, good bartenders (I sit at the bar a lot and have either a burger, which are awesome, or the chicken piccata or chicken fried steak, which are also awesome.) I like this place because I can go there alone and eat for a reasonable amount and it's good, OR I can take someone there for a pretty nice meal. In fact, I'm writing this review because today someone asked me for a recommendation of somewhere for a good burger and after talking it over, I came up with Charlestons and it occurred to me how often I go there, so I thought I'd give them a shout out. Oh, and Yelp only lists the Yale location, but there is also one on Peoria.

This particular Charlestons location is oneof the most consistent in the food quality, presentation and service. Whether I need to entertain a client, take an out of town family member for luch or dinner, or just enjoy a quiet evening wioth my own family, this restaurant has it all. Our favorites: Walts Champagne Chicken Salad, the Macaroni and Cheese ( for kids. They also get a sundae too), the catfish, or the burgers... this one is a winner! Anthoer clue- it is owned by the same company as Mahoganys- Tulsa's finest steak restaurnat- and it's right next door!

What can I say about this resturant? First its very inviting and you just feel a sense of relaxation when you walk in. Our waiter Shawn came to our table introduced himself with a very friendly hello and asked how we were doing. To told us what the soup of the day was and what the kitchen was preparing special for today. We decided to order an appetizer which was queso and chips. Let me just say the queso is amazing. Shawn was very quick to make sure our glasses never saw bottom. Our appetizer arrived rather quickly and Shawn informed us after asking if the queso was ok, that typically what they do is wait till your almost done with your appetizer before putting your meal order in. Which I think is an awesome idea so you don't feel rushed to finish it before your food comes out. We ordered the chicken fried steak whick comes with two sides so we got garlic mashed potatoes and smokehouse baked beans. Our food came out piping hot almost as if Shawn pulled it off the stove himself. The chicken fried steak took almost the entire plate and no it wasn't all breading either. We did what we normally do and took a little bite of evetything first and everything was amazing. Shawn came back after like 5 or 6 minutes to see how everything was. Over all I will say that I enjoyed the whole experience at Charleston and I would recommend it to anyone.

Always great service and delicious food! They have incredible hand cut filet and the spinach dip is so good!! You get a high class feel like other local steak places with about half the bill. I love the atmosphere and we have always had pleasant experiences with their waitstaff. This place is always a go-to when we want a nice dinner!

A nice dim lighted, casual restaurant. I ordered the chicken fried steak. I would say it was A-OK. Huge portions, kinda of like Claim Jumper (restaurant). I thought the coating of the CFS was a bit bland.

Yes, we returned our last night in Tulsa, instead of going to Mahogany's next door for a steak. Both got the chicken-fried steak and were not disappointed, again.

Bravo.

I like it!

We love the south Tulsa Charleston's location, food is always fresh and tasty, drinks are great, atmosphere is pleasing and always clean. The wait staff is attentive and friendly. We call often for carry out and the serving portions are the same as dining in. Excellent choice for lunch or dinner.

Bravo.

Yes, we returned our last night in Tulsa, instead of going to Mahogany's next door for a steak. Both got the chicken-fried steak and were not disappointed, again.

This place is always packed at lunch. The service is great and the chicken avocado club sandwich is amazing. Prices are reasonable.

Shrimp Cargo! Cant beat the good ole ribs at Charlestons..... Get the full rack and take em home... The Shrimp-Cargo is really REALLY really good if you are looking for the tastiest shrimp dish around town... Really good and cheesy...

Very crowded in prime time. Very small restroom. $30 ribeye somewhat tough. Tilapia was wonderful. Service is average. No mints at the door when leaving.

We love the south Tulsa Charleston's location, food is always fresh and tasty, drinks are great, atmosphere is pleasing and always clean. The wait staff is attentive and friendly. We call often for carry out and the serving portions are the same as dining in. Excellent choice for lunch or dinner.

Best restaurant during our week here. The house salad is amazing, and the prime rib was excellent. Great service and atmosphere. Come early because they fill up fast.

Best prime rib in the United States of... the World! Excellent service, excellent everything. 5 stars all day every day into infinity. That's why you better recognize. They run this place like a well oiled machine.
