Maybe it was me or they had a bad day in the food department. But mmmmmeeeeeehhhhhh is the word that comes to mind about the place , as person from NYC I have tasted true Italian for much cheaper in NYC. Really their food is on par with Olive Garden. You should just go there and you'll save money. The high point of my visit, really was the server she was attentive, funny and fast. I may give it another shot if no 2 stars stands.

Good food that is very consistent. When my wife was pregnant, she insisted on the chicken parmigiano four nights in a row. On rare occasions, service can be wanting, but the food makes up for it. I always get the penne Franco. Such a great combination of flavors.

The Carrabba's in Oklahoma City closed down, so this is the only one in the entire state! My wife and I frequent here when we find ourselves in Tulsa and, while there are more economical choices and higher quality choices available in the Tulsa area, Carrabba's consistently provides quality food for reasonable prices. I consistently get the sirloin marsala - outstanding! My wife generally gets brushette for an appetizer and chicken parmigiana - both great! One of our new favorites is the blackberry sangria -- seriously, this drink is so good, I don't care how womanly I look drinking it! I told my wife that I may not be drinking this if I were out with the guys, but for a date night, it's all good! Go for the John Cole for dessert - ice cream and candied pecans - perfect, light dessert to top off your meal. Will definitely visit again!

I'm sorry to Ryan and Staphanie for their sorry experiences. But I thoroughly enjoyed my Carrabbas visit! My dish was amazing! My brother and sister in law absolutely loved theirs. Our calamari before the meal was great! The bread with the oil and herbs dip was great! The waitress was so nice and so accommadating. The manager was walking around to the tables just to check on the service and food, very nice. The bathroom was clean, classy. Not ultra modern with the sinks or paper towels, but it wasn't necessary in there. The set up was very nice and clean. I couldn't find anything to criticize negatively. Definitely eat here...and enjoy!

I adore this place. I went within a week or two of their opening this location, and I've been dozens of times since! There have been some changes in that time. My dad bemoans the fact that they removed "their best appetizer"--the shrimp scampi--from the menu. You get less bread at your table now, but I see that as a plus because I bet there was a lot of waste before. I've tried several of their dishes and don't remember ever being disappointed, but now I almost always get a bowl of their minestrone soup because it is THE best minestrone soup I've ever eaten--and I've eaten a lot of it and probably a dozen different restaurants plus homemade, etc.

Ladies and gents, this was bad. Normally, I wouldn't be so dismayed from a bad food experience, but when the atmosphere is dressed up to this extent and the costs are ratcheted this high, I'm not so forgiving. Here's why this place got one star from me. I came here one night, and I hoped to take a step away from the typical restaurants I usually frequent. My first taste of the restaurant, at the suggestion of our waitress, was a chicken noodle soup made Italian in one fashion or another. I ordered it, receiving miniscule tidbits in watery broth. Beyond the rubbery, grease-laden mozzarella going for a whopping nine bucks, my chicken marsala arrived with a side of fettuccine alfredo. I was willing to forgive the past two mishaps if the main course was above (or even meeting) par. After a bite into the mess of clotted sauce and coagulated noodles, which had grown a skin, revealing that it had sat under a heat lamp for some time before finally being served, I decided against using a fork alone for the meal and resolved to using the knife as well. Not just for the chicken. I wasn't going to take any chances with the pasta. Once I finished, I asked for the bill. The bill was really the only thing I looked forward to, after all that, but I got a dark surprise yet again once I took a look. I was looking at a good $30+ in damages. I say "damages", because once I got home, I sat in the bathroom longer than I sat in the restaurant. Don't go to Carrabba's. Your money is better spent elsewhere.

For the most part, I don't really have anything against Carrabba's. Yes, it's a chain, but you'll be hard pressed to find anything aside from chains in Tulsa. The tables and floor are clean, and the server I had when my boyfriend and I went to dinner here was kind. The food itself was made well. The problem is that the prices are way too high for the portions you get. For an appetizer, we had mozzarella marinari -- mozzarella sticks, really -- and we received five sticks that were a little bit wider than a pencil in length and about as thick. The price? $8.99. I had manicotti as an entree, and received maybe $7 worth of food for $12, which tasted more or less the same as the manicotti I've had at Olive Garden. It's not bad, but you're paying more money for the same quality food that you could get at Macaroni Grill or Zio's or even Olive Garden.

Not at all impressed with this place. Pasta overcooked!! When I asked the waiter to make sure my pasta was "al dente" he asked: "Who's that?" What more does one need to say?

This is my favorite restaurant in all of Tulsa! The filet with spedino is what I like to have. The calamari is to DIE for ... Love it all! What's it f***ing matter if it's a chain as long as it's fresh and good? Hats off to the chef

Ate here for first time tonight and am very impressed. This will go in our choice of repeat restaurants to visit. Great fresh menu and with waiters that take their job seriously. My husband had the ribeye steak (a special they had) and said it's on his top three ever. I had the Tag Pic Pac with the Sausage Lentil soup and loved it as well. Wonderful food and service.

Went with the family, our table was neglected. When we ate all the bread, we were without for a good five minutes. Our daughter's chicken arrived ten minutes before our food, and ours was waiting (chilling) on the side board most of that time. When we went to check out, the waiter apologized and said they were out of wallets and handed us a free-floating check. This used to be our favorite Italian chain, and now I doubt we'll be returning. Good: appetizers Bad: service

My 1st time trying this chain ever. Food was great, dessert was amazing. I had a chicken Alfredo dish that is new and impossible to pronounce. Butter cake with berries and pineapple is a must try. Good service, my waiter was friendly and welcoming. We are both trainers so we had a brief talk about that and Tulsa in general.

Awesome Italian food! Best chain Italian food in Tulsa! Slightly overpriced but you get quality food. Free bread and dipping sauce as an appetizer. Try the chicken Bryan! Excellent! Long waits if you go on the weekend at the wrong time so plan your day accordingly. I love this place! A+

"This is THE restaurant my kids and I use for our "special occasions/treat ourselves". Our FAVORITE dishes are here. Chicken Bryan (we like this grilled chicken better than steak) and the Calamari appetizer (request the "Ricardo" sauce). And we're sad when the meal is done... Never had a bad experience (or food) here. Worst experience was the Lobster Ravioli, "Fair" rating at best. Sorry about the bad experiences some reviewers provided but you can't go wrong with these menu recommendations. I guess you can catch a waitress on a bad night but OUR service has been "top notch" every time.

I have been here a couple of times and I must say the service stands out. Deidra H was excellent. Despite a very busy early Valentines day dinner celebration, she did a great job taking care of us. Because everyone was celebrating Valentines day early, there was a long wait. We were offered drinks and bread for waiting which was nice. The food was good. The herbs and olive oil made for tasty bread-dipping. I ordered the Spiedino di Mare with shrimp and scallops and it was delicious. Overall, the service is great, the food is good but be prepared for a wait.

Bad service, waitress young and rude, forgot our drinks then tells us we hadn't ordered any? Really? Then salmon came raw and experience was just killed from start to finish, won't be back. Was first time trying this chain, unfortunately I don't think we'll try again anywhere.

Visited last night after seeing a special advertised for a Sirloin Steak with Lobster Ravioli and a Side for $13.99. That seemed like a great deal so we had to take advantage of it. As with all Carrabba's entrees, the meal comes with a choice of a side salad or a cup of soup as well as limitless bread and olive oil. I had to have a cup of Lentil Sausage soup because it is one of my favorites. I had my entree with Mashed Potatoes and my Girlfriend had the Green Beans. We both ordered our steaks medium. Her steak was cooked more along the lines of medium while mine was closer to medium-rare. Both steaks were pretty tender for being sirloin cuts. The Lobster Ravioli was really good with large chunks of Lobster and a cream sauce. Both side items were also very good. Our server was Jonathan C. (according to our ticket) and he went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Our drinks never emptied and he checked on us frequently. He also gave us candy when he brought the check, Lindt Chocolate Truffles. I have no doubt he bought them with his own money (and they are a little expensive) to give to his tables. Nice work!

The first thing you'll notice when you get your food at Carrabba's is the MASSIVE PORTIONS. Eat like you are going to be taking leftovers home, because trust me, you will. Recently, I dined in and had the Chicken Parmesan. It's not a traditional Chicken Parm... a little more on the grilled side. Absolutely delicious. The same couldn't be said for the lasagna my co-diner opted for: it was dry and unevenly cooked... However, he said the salad and appetizer left him mostly full, so it wasn't the biggest problem. Service was okay: extremely polite and friendly, but missing for the majority of the meal. That said, it was very busy when we were dining, so I can understand that and I appreciate the effort. I'll likely be going back to use a gift-card in the coming weeks. Maybe it'll be a better experience!

Very satisfied with my meal and service. The chicken fettuccini was wonderful. The house dressing was excellent, although the salad itself was lacking. Only lettuce, carrots, and a couple olives. Then we had dessert sampler. Our favorite was the cake that tasted like a banana split. Excellent! I will be back! Update. Definitely try the chicken fettuccini. It is the best! Had it again.

Enjoyed dining here with my husband and daughter. We were seated immediately even though it was 7:30 on a Friday night. It is always nice when they have coloring sheets and crayons for the kiddos. I enjoyed the lasagna and The friendly service. And of course the bread and dip! Their unique minestrone soup is in a class all by itself! There is no other it's equal! Carrabba's is one of our favorite Italian restaurants. Wish they still had one in Edmond, Oklahoma!

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
