Meh. Had the southwest chicken wrap. Dry and tasteless. Quick trip has a better SW chicken wrap. Had the side of Mac n cheese. Literally, a box of velveeta shells dumped on half the plate. Husband had the chili cheeseburger. Average combination of beef patty covered in queso and more beef chili. Tasted like BBQ sauce was mixed in there somewhere. They wouldn't turn the Thunder game on the screen where we could hear it because clearly "some one" was watching a Dukes game?? Way to support.

I have been here quite a few times, but recently it seems like the food quality is going downhill quickly! The french fries are coated in grease and soggy which is a huge disappointment. When I go to a restaurant for fries, I like a nice crispy outside and a soft inside. I don't want to pick up a fry and have my hands covered in nasty grease. I only ended up eating a couple because they were so soggy and disgusting. I also ordered the chicken sandwich; the bottom bun was soggy and flat. I couldn't even pick up the sandwich because the bottom bun was falling apart from being so soggy, and this was without any sauce on the sandwich. So really no excuse for the soggy mess. I ended up having to eat my sandwich with a knife and fork. After two times in a row now of disappointing sandwiches and disgusting french fries, I will not be returning anymore.

Good lord these portions are massive, but boy are they mighty fine and tasty in my tummy! They actually have decent queso, which can be hard to find. It was creamy and spicy and delectable! The waiter was very attentive, granted there weren't many people there, but he was very nice. I wasn't too hungry, so I ordered a side of macaroni and cheese, which to my surprise, was pretty much a full meal. My friend ordered a chicken burrito. I really don't know what sauce they used, but the flavor was very good. It was almost a mix of ranch and buffalo sauce, I can't believe how well they mixed! That's probably not even the actual sauce, but it was really good. The pasta salad was fine, just a regular pasta salad. Anyway, the meal was yummy and also well priced. HOWEVER, I came here a few years ago and ordered the chicken tenders. If they are the same, they were super duper too salty!

We love The Brook! Consistent great quality of food and in a great location! They have the best cheese fries you have ever eaten! They are fresh and the cheese is layered not just on top! Dip them in some homemade ranch and you will be an addict! You also can't go wrong with any of their burgers! Yum! The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the sometimes slow service.

So, the hostess can't assist with To-Go orders? I have to wait at the bar for 10 minutes while customers are served drinks before me? Not really the point of to-go.

Awesome turkey club, awesome fries! Good friendly service, I would have given them 5 stars but their Sweet N Low is always crystalized and never dissolves in the iced tea.

Everything on the menu is great, but the buffalo chicken strips and mac n' cheese is a magical combo. It's not very healthy, but it's effing amazing. I've yet to have a bad thing on the menu and I've been here many times.

I would go here again. I have always been partial to going to mom and pop locations for a meal instead, but when you want to step it up a bit and throw out the diet, the Brook is a great place to go. Definitely check it out!

Best Mac and Cheese in town. Bring your appetite. This place is awesome!
Good food, always good service. Casual dining without the hype of Chilis or Applebees. We eat here a lot and have always had a good experience. Their buffalo tenders or buffalo chicken sandwich is my favorite.

This place has insanely great food. I've been on several occasions and the food has always been top notch. The open face chili cheese Burger was amazing!!! I had a Bacon cheese Burger on my last trip and it was great too! I went with a group of coworkers the last time and had a mountain of cheese fries with Bacon, chives, and jalepenjos. It has amazing but quite filled us before our entrees came to the table. If I could say one bad thing about this place, I'd ask for smaller portions for a smaller price.

A great place to hang with friends, and get some huge servings at a great price. The brook offers a selection of American style food that is always fresh looking. I have never had a bad meal here, and the wait staff are wonderful, and friendly. I have tried most of the burgers, you won't be disappointed with what ever you choose. and the nacho's are a must. Wash it all down with a brew and its a great day.

The Brook isn't bad, but it's not my favorite place to eat. If you're looking to watch a game and have a few beers then the Brook is a good place to do so. Most of their food is fried and leans towards the heavy side. I do like their side pasta salad though, it's probably my favorite thing to eat there. I've tried various different wraps, which seem to be soaked in whatever dressing it comes with. All and all, it's an okay place to hang out at, but not first on my list for eateries.

Had lunch here on a Friday. We arrived at 11:10. Were shown to a large booth in the back. Our server was very nice and brought us drinks quickly. I had the Blue Cheese Burger with a side of cheese fries. Burger was cooked medium rare as I ordered. Fries very good. My wife had a Turkey Reuben with the sauce on the side. She said it was excellent. We also ordered a grilled chicken salad for my brother in law. This is and has been a local favorite and I am glad little has changed over the last 10-15 years. Thank you!

My friends and I went on a Saturday for lunch and it was busy, which was fine. The wait service was rude though. On two seperate occasions they brought other tables orders to us like they didn't know where to take the food. I can only hope our food wasn't tossed around to other tables until they found the right one. Also, my friends food was wrong and the waitress questioned if he wanted it to be corrected and made him feel guilty for getting what he ordered. Also, I have been there on seperate occasions and it seems like the draft beer is ALWAYS flat/old, so avoid that by ordering bottles. The food was enjoyable, but they definitely need to tuning up in that place.

Good old fashioned American cooking, come here for sandwiches and beer but really there is nothing that isn't delicious on the menu. The wings are noteworthy, they are a little different than your standard wings but they are good nonetheless.

The Brook is always solid. Sometimes it seems a bit dirty, but the food and service is always pretty good. My last visit I ate with a friend we started with chips and queso and I ordered the Blackened Chicken Sandwich with Steamed Veggis, he ordered the Buffalo Chicken Wrap with Mac and Cheese. The Queso here is outstanding, better than most Mexican restaurants. The Salsa is average and the chips are very good too. The Blacked Chicken Sandwich wasn't as good as when I have normally had it. They had it on Texas Toast instead of a bun this time and it wasn't quite the same. Either was the seasoning on the Chicken is damn good an the dressing on the sandwich make it so good you won't put it down. The Steamed Veggis are heavily seasoned but still good. The Buffalo Chicken wrap looked great, Ive had it before and it rocks. That goes for all there wraps. The Mac and Cheese is always great as well. The Brook is usually busy so you may have to wait a few minutes for a table but the food is worth it.

We had pretty high hopes for this place by the reviews. Yes the mac and cheese is huge. Well for that matter everything is huge. We both ordered the country fried steak with mash potatoes and the must have mac n cheese. Yes it was good, Yes it was huge, yes the mac and cheese was pretty good. All in all I get a Meh it was okay, Am I running back? No not really. Would I eat here again sure. I guess all in all it was good but I just wasn't wow'd .

i haven't lived in tulsa for three years now and i am STILL dreaming about the MAC AND CHEESE!! i love the brook because of their late hours, the MAC AND CHEESE, and the busy bustling vibe. the place has a slightly different feel to it every time i go, yet the food stays delicious every time. this place was great for me and my college friends to hang out off-campus and have a comforting yet affordable meal. ok seriously, if anyone has the recipe for their MAC AND CHEESE, i would love to have it! i've looked everywhere online!

Great pub/bar food. Chicken fajitas and southwest chicken nachos are among my favorites. They have a lot of beer options on tap from domestics to a craft brew options. Bartenders are always very attentive and eager to make sure you are taken care of. You can catch just about any prevalent sports event on one of their many tv's. If your game is not on they are always quick to accommodate you by changing the channel.

Okay- so there mac and cheese is unbelievable, I'll admit that. The problem is, the place smells so effing gross it makes the food taste bad. Think: a dorm hallway after a night of unsupervised freshmen have a keg party. Feet, beer, strong cleaning solutions, more beer and maybe some vomit. That's what I get. The weird thing is, not too long ago they closed their doors for almost a month for a "deep clean," so I was super pumped, right?!? WRONG! It had that same smell the second they re-opened. Seriously! So, as I said, the food is pretty good. If you're hungry for chicken strips and/or mac and cheese, or even some wraps or burgers, get it to go. You'll thank me later.

If you want a super casual hangout look no further. The portion of food you get is unbelievable. I leave here every time with a tummy ache due to cheese fries. However, I try to stay away from this place. If you love the smell of stale beer that was spilt on the floor the night before, you will enjoy yourself here. The best things on the menu are the loaded cheese fries and the nachos..... everything else is kind of basic and anonymous. The service is passable at best.

Love the Brook! My family has been regulars for years now. Wonderful service and good basic food. My favs are the burgers, the chicken sandwich, the parmesan chicken salad, and the cheese nachos. The loaded cheddar fried are amazing but I can't handle the guilt. Oh, and drinks and fried mushrooms are a great way to end an evening (give the horseradish dipping sauce a try)

I went here on Brett B's recommendation. The place is okay. But it is one of those quantity versus quality type of restaurants. The Brook has all of the usual Southern Fired Foods on the menu. I had the Chicken Fried Steak and a salad. The Salad was huge! This was more like a dinner salad not a side salad, It was fresh and tasty. The Chicken Fried Steak was enormous as well. But the quality was not what I expected, the batter to meat ratio was way off, too much batter and not enough steak, the gravy was very salty as well. It was edible, but I have had way better in the past. My quest for the best Chicken Fried Steak is not over,, The Brook doesn't measure up to my high standards, Sorry......

I have been going to the Brook ever since it opened. Brookside has done wonders and this place was one of the original places to keep it going. Whether you are a sports fan or just want a good meal, this is the place to go. There is a full service bar with good drinks. The staff is very friendly. You will notice that you might have 3 or 4 different waiters but that is only because everyone checks on everyone. I like the system. I am confused by someone who put that the staff is always par. I go there about twice a month and have been going for years. I have never had a bad visit. The portions are huge! Its a good menu with selections for those of us who enjoy a huge meal to those who would prefer something healthy to a salad or healthy wrap. If you are in town and want a good burger, check out the Brook. You can't go wrong!

I went to Brook last night for drinks and today for lunch while in town for business. The atmosphere is so cool - I loved the big old projector (Brook was once a movie theater) so much I took a photo of it. They had some good wine last night, and the bar was a nice, chill place to hang out for a couple of hours. They have an impressive collection of flat screens showing whatever sportsball game happens to be on, but it's not overpowering or sports-bar feeling at ALL. They keep the bar sort of separate from the main dining room so it's not too noisy. Today for lunch I was overwhelmed by how tasty the veggie burger was. I am on a constant quest to NOT STARVE while traveling for work, and since I work 99.9% of the time in Texas and Oklahoma, it's kind of hard - not a lot of love for vegetarians around these parts. My lunch was so good today I cleaned my plate, and this is a huge rarity. Only complaint is that there were two veggie burger choices but that's it for vegetarian options (aside from the usual salads and side dishes). Visiting here every few months I'll enjoy having the same thing over and over, but if I lived in Tulsa I would likely want more choices before becoming a regular dining customer here. The bar would have my business straight away though!

So I almost didn't go to this place because the lower ratings. I'm really glad I did though! Brook Restaurant offers a big selection of classic favorites all served in huge portions. The service was kind of odd with two servers kinda tag-teaming our table but our food came out fast and with a smile. If you're looking for something super unique this isn't the place but if you want some classics done right then Brook Restaurant is for you!

I live in brookside and have eaten here around ten million times. Gotta say though the manager here just could care less now. The only decent thing is the burger. Everything else is a coin toss on if it will be edible or not. Avoid the weekly specials at all costs. Since four moths from the date of this updated review on dec 2013, all portions are freakin tiny. I mean small. The fish and chips used to be three huge chunks of fish five inches square. Now you get three McDonald chicken strip size one inch by four inch things that are all breading. Sent them back and a guy ( guess it was manger) tried to tell me that he's been at the brook three years and it's always been like that. Told him I have been eating it for ten years and no it's not the same. What's more tastes like crap. He said it was also same tasting recipe. So you guessed it, I told him no I haven't been eating crap for ten years. The crap taste is a recent addition. Gave them three more tries and the place has officially become sucky. Avoid if you can. Original 2009 review below. (Eat here about three times a month. Great burgers, but tell them to hold the salt on the fries and do it yourself. Music is usually so loud you cant talk to anyone though. Wraps are all good as well. Service is outstanding)

This place is so weird. I like it, but it is dirty and not that great. It is the Gary Bussey of Tulsa restaurants. The service is very good though, and the beer selection above average. The burgers and fries pass the test, but stay away from their odd nachos. Also, their wings come with sauce on the side. Huh? I love you, Brook. But I hate you. Therefore, I three star you.

Hard to beat $1 beers on Tues nights even if it's 3.2 beer. Service was prompt yet snobby but the manager and bartender (Jan) were both great. I'd go there again.

Used to be a movie theater and still has the original marquee. Large portions for a little price. The chicken fried steak is as big as your face and they measure out the mashed potatoes in pounds per plate. The food comes at you fast so don't plan on a long relaxing meal; there is usually a line at the door and they like to keep it moving.

This place is great for an informal gathering or to have drinks. Their wine and beer prices are great. While their wine list is short, it does have good wines on it, and their prices are about 1/3 what you'd pay in most places. Other restaurants and bars beware- The Brook is the place to go for either good beer or good wine, at reasonable prices.

The Philly Cheese Wrap is the best, I get it every time I come here.

It was ok, but huge portions. I had a turkey burger thing that wasnt so good but the other choices looked good. My fries had like a pound of salt on them. Are you fat? You'll probably like something here.

We LOVE The Brook and regularly eat at the Memorial location. Food is awesome and plentiful - but we will never go to the Brookside location again. Our server Kristina was ANYTHING but attentive, and it wasn't that busy. We had to ask multiple times for things like lemons (that we had initially ordered with our drinks), the pineapple listed on the kids' menu as being included, malt vinegar...etc. We had a Groupon to use and the manager literally took my phone out of my hands and started to walk away with it. I'm sorry, but even my family members don't take my phone! Is HE going to replace a $400 piece of equipment if it slips out of his hands and breaks?!? Then, when he did get the Groupon scanned, it still took our server forever to get back to our table...by this time my husband had already gone to load the kids in the car. I ended up taking the check to the bar to cash out (because Kristina never returned to take my Visa) and had a very friendly and kind bartender charge my card. We'll be sticking with 91st/Memorial from here on out. Such a disappointing experience!

I love this place! When we first moved to Brookside we came here once a week. The cheese fries are to die for, the Mac and cheese is amazing, and their side of steamed vegetables is also great. I really enjoyed getting their spinach (or veggie?) quesadilla and added black beans. I didn't like their Cesar salad when I tried it. I will say that there are a lot of options and they have delicious drinks. If you are looking for a healthier option, their turkey burger (order minus the bun) plus cheddar cheese and a side of vegetables is amazing. If you're doing weight watchers, that is 9 points.

The Brook is a staple, casual dining restaurant in the midtown area. They offer a homecooking style, American menu with favorites such as burgers, chicken fried steak, chicken strips, cheese fries, nachos, sandwiches, wraps, etc. The portions are so giant it's almost ridiculous, but that just leaves more for leftovers! The mac & cheese is really the best thing on the menu so be sure to get that as a side. Other great items include the cheese fries, chicken fried steak, fajita nachos, and the spicy chicken strips. The atmosphere is casual and fun and we have always had good luck with servers. The building used to be a movie theater and it retains its marque sign out front, making it a landmark on Brookside. If you go late in the evening, it's even more casual with a seat yourself policy. There is a full bar area as well with multiple TVs playing spots or what have you. The Brook is a great place to go with a group, as a family, or on a date if you are wanting unhealthy yet wonderful food (I think everything comes with a side of Ranch.)

Come hungry, leave satisfied. The Brook has a lot of something for everyone in a casual fun atmosphere. I have been here for games, catching up with friends, meeting my friends' babies, late night drinks and snacks. The drinks and food are well priced. You get a massive amount of food for what you pay. I have order meals that come on multiple plates. The chicken fried steak is enough to share. You get a refill with the chips and dips (salsa, queso, guacamole), taco salad is probably the best Americanize taco salad I have had. Everyone loves the mac & cheese. The friend mushrooms are great and so are the nachos and cheese fries. If you are getting an appetizer to share, you still probably won't have room to eat a full meal. Clearly, I go here often.

I've been here twice and both experiences have been pretty solid. The first time I actually got a chicken fried steak to go and was BLOWN AWAY by the quality and taste. That singular chicken fried steak is the BEST one I've had in town without question. The mashed potatoes were awful though. Absolutely terrible. Gravy is run-of-the-mill and wish it had been a little better, but isn't awful, just average. The 2nd time I visited I took my girlfriend who got the mac 'n cheese as a side (the mac n cheese alone as a side is enough for most people for a meal), a burger, and some queso. She was a huge fan of the queso and the mac n cheese. The burger there wasn't anything special about. I ordered the chicken fry again and it was much less impressive this time I don't know if it has anything to do with me letting the chicken fried steak cool and then putting the gravy on it when I got it to go vs. them serving it to me hot with gravy over all or just a different cook in the kitchen, but it dropped from an A+ experience to a B+ experience in terms of the taste of the chicken fry. Food portions are massive, so although the prices are bit high, you will more than likely get at least 2, maybe even 3 meals out of your order.

Love coming here with big groups. Sometimes the service isn't the best, but if you want some non so healthy food this is a great place. Their Mac and cheese is wonderful! It is hit or miss sometimes with how cheesy it is but I still love it. I get the chicken tenders which are always crispy! Even when they are to go. They offer them in spicy or non and I like both. Just depends on how I'm feeling. The portions are huge so you usually can take them home and it re heats ok. Not the best food or service, but I keep going back.

This has my favorite place in Tulsa for 15 years. Why is it not 5 stars? Because some of the items are fantastic, some are not, but I know my favorites and get them every single time. It's also a fun bar scene to watch sports and hang with friends in a very casual environment. It's always my go-to place to meet-up with friends I haven't seen in awhile or a casual lunch/dinner out! Pros - Mac and cheese is one of the best (huge portion of large shell noodles in creamy, yummy cheese, nothing instant like Kraft!) - Southwest chicken salad and wrap are the BEST! - The wraps in general are stuffed plenty big and very filling! - Mashed potatoes and gravy are A+ - Chips, salsa, and queso are a must; so good and get two refills for each with your order! - Casual environment any time of day/evening - Mostly have soft booths perfect for a relaxing dinner! - Full bar next to the dining area with some booths and tables in it as well - TVs hanging on all wall corners Cons - French fries are too soft and greasy - Chicken fingers are not the best (I'm a chicken finger fanatic) - If you go at prime meal time, you may have to wait like all good restaurants!

My cousin and I went to lunch today at The Brook. We used a living social pre paid coupon today for lunch. She ordered a taco salad and I picked out a plate of fish and chips. I requested no tartar sauce, but extra lemons for our water. The plates came quickly and the food was plentiful. It tasted delicious and hit the spot. The service was top notch and the price was right. Without the living social coupon, the bill would gave been 23.00. But since I used a 20.00 for food and non alcoholic drink coupon, it was only 3.00 plus a tip. We will be back.

I love, love LOVE the brook. This is one of my favorite places to go for lunch on the weekends with friends. The cheese fries are delicious and a great starter to split between a few people. The chips and queso aren't bad either! I love their turkey club sandwich, which comes on a delicious croissant. I usually substitute the tomato for avocado, which costs a little bit extra. Totally worth it! For a side, I always get the Mac n cheese. It is dare I say it, the best macaroni and cheese I have ever tasted in all my 23 years! They have a huge assortment of delicious wraps, sandwiches, salads, and larger entrees. The portions are pretty good size, which is great for me since i take the rest home and get to enjoy it again! If you haven't been to the brook yet, you HAVE to try it soon!

When I crave deliciously crisp fries topped with cheese, bacon bits, chives, and jalapenos, the Brook is where I go. Pair that with their cheesey mac and cheese and you've got a meal. Portions here are HUGE, even for me.
(4)
Gary M.
Yes! Best nachos I've EVER had. Get the southwest chicken nachos, you'll never regret it. I had a half portion & it was a good amount so I could only imagine how the full portion is. The nachos were layered, each chip had their elements, which was the plus. So you get the full experience with each chip that you bite into. I also tried their cheese fries, which were pretty dang good as well. Portioned like the nachos, somewhat. They don't lack with the cheese & they other fixings. Had a half portion of that as well, which was a good amount.

It pains me to write a negative review for the Brook because this was my spot growing up! I came here all the time in high school and have some great memories from this local legend. With that said, I returned for the first time in ages this past Christmas and was a little horrified. The thing is, I'm not sure that this place has actually changed all that much. So don't read this review as a note about a decline in quality. Instead, I think my tolerance for my favorite Oklahoma grease pits has just gone down with age (ok, that's a lie--I can immediately think of two equally greasy places in town that I still find delicious--Braum's, Goldie's, probably many, many more). We started out with some bacon cheese fries because how can you not at the Brook? Our eyes were bigger than our stomach, however, and I think the two of us maybe got an eighth of the way through the plate. This was a familiar feeling...even in high school, I barely made a dent into the Brook's portions. Back then, though, I actually enjoyed the tiny fraction of the plate that I ate. What I had back in December, on the other hand, nearly made me sick to my stomach. From the cheap cheese to the "bacon" that could have easily passed for store-bought bacon bits to the endless bed of fries that Chris Christie would even struggle to finish...I wanted to vom. The mac and cheese was also pretty horrid. As another reviewer noted already, it tasted like it was literally covered in velveeta. On a much more positive note, I was happy/relieved to still love their chicken fried steak. They cook it perfectly and, as they do with all of their other dishes, they give you plenty of it. As an expat Okie who struggles to find people who even know what a chicken fried steak is, this gets the Brook an automatic three star rating from me.

The Brook is an old standby. My husband and I actually met here. We took some friends from out of town for lunch recently. The portions are HUGE. The mac & cheese is good, though slightly Velveetaish (it's the identical twin of Shells & Cheese from the box), the bloody mary's are good, and the service was great. We shared an appetizer of loaded cheese fries. Sadly, they were extremely greasy and limp. I ate a few, and our friends finished them off, but I couldn't get past the drippy grease. They were soaked. Yikes. Moving on... One of our group had chicken fried steak. He loved it! I had the Reuben and found it to be delicious. One person had the buffalo chicken sandwich. It was massive! Someone else had chicken fingers or was it chicken fried chicken? Either way, everyone was happy. Definitely would return here, though I'd avoid those cheese fries like the grease-soaked plague.

I like Brook more than most of my friends do. My favorite thing to get is the buffalo chicken tenders and a side of mac and cheese. The chili queso burger is crazy good too. Edit: I docked this place a star for continually under performing on the buffalo chicken tenders - not enough buffalo sauce, too dry, too small... The mac and cheese has become hit and miss too. I think that I'm done going here as regularly as I used to.

First time at the Brook. Parking was no problem. I ordered the blackened chicken sandwich with mac & cheese. The mac and cheese was very tasty. The sandwich was fairly tasty. I got the remainder of my meal to go, and I did notice the liquid part of the sandwich (sauce/tomato?) ended up soaking into the Texas toast, making it quite soggy. I'd recommend making a point to eat it there so the bread doesn't have time to get soggy.

The Brook is a great restaurant in one of my favorite areas of Tulsa, Brookside. Reasonable prices and HUGE portions are something I typically look for in an entree and The Brook did not disappoint. I had a full order of their Southwest Nachos and it was more than enough food for me. The menu has a variety of items, but isn't overwhelming. The servers were friendly and the environment was very relaxed. The Brook is informal and accessible, great for a quick lunch date or business lunch. They also have a great bar area, perfect for watching the "big game" or just grabbing a few drinks with friends.

The Brook is a staple for me. My husband and I had our first date there. We ate there the night we got engaged, our rehearsal dinner was there and we celebrated our 1 year anniversary there this year. Needless to say we love the brook. I have been going for over 7 years.

Had lunch there today. Had beef nachos, and they could be the best nachos I've ever had! The sides are huge! Reasonably priced, good food, good service!

Pretty much what you'd expect from a bar. The service was good and the ambience was like any other bar. The food was typical for a bar. I liked it.

The Brook is great when you're in the mood for some serious fried, cheesey bar food. Everyone makes a big whoop about the Mac n cheese, but I think it's kind of hit or miss depending on the day. Cheese fries are giant and greasey, which is great when you're in the mood for it. There are good drink specials sometimes, again it's hit or miss. The portion sizes of the sides are GIANT. I would always order a side of Mac n cheese and a side of veggies, which is a ton of food for 5$. My advice is to order sides. I know I can't finish even that. Bottom line: good local bar food with huge side portions.

The cheese fries never disappoint at The Brook on Peoria. I prefer mine topped with bacon & jalepeno peppers & lots of Ranch dressing for dipping. It's a meal in itself. But, I like to follow it up with a salad so I don't get to feeling too guilty about the calories. Set in an old movie house, The Brook has a nice laid back atmosphere with fun music & strategically placed TV's. So, there's no need to strain your neck trying to keep up with whatever games happen to be showing. Check it out sometime. You won't be disappointed.

Aly says it's 4 stats for the Mac & cheese. Huge portions and the food came pretty fast. The wait staff lost us in the shuffle and never really recovered. But worth a visit.

Got the frozen cherry limeade which was extremely tasty. Couldn't taste the alcohol, but definitely got a buzz from it. Fried mushrooms are delicious, juicy, crispy, and pairs awesomely with horseradish sauce. Buffalo tenders were just as good- saucy, but not too much. Chicken was good and not over-breaded. Overall, great chill hangout place for late night bites!

We came here because of the good reviews. I must say this is not what we were hoping for. Our orders were all screwed up, the waitress never came around to refill our coffee and waters and her attitude was not very pleasant. If she would've taken the time to at least refill our drinks she would've got a better tip. Definitely will not be going back!

This is where you go to watch football on Sunday. They've got the ticket. Staff is friendly and efficient. The fish and chips are great....especially the chips!

Went to The Brook while visiting my daughter in Tulsa. This is an old standby for her and I can see why. We ordered a half order of the cheese fries with the yummy bacon and jalapenos. The half order was HUGE! We split the fried chicken sandwich and I could barely eat any after eating the yummy fries. We had a couple of beers along with it and it was SUPER cheap. This is not fine dining but when you want comfort/bar food and a reasonable price, this is the place.

Great place to meet with friends, family or business associates. Extremely large portions of food and a killer bar menu.
(5)Heather C.
Believe me when I say to get the Mac & cheese! Ate here during lunch, great service. Will def be going back!
(4)Kristin M.

(4)Amber H.
(4)Lacey T.
So, the hostess can't assist with To-Go orders? I have to wait at the bar for 10 minutes while customers are served drinks before me? Not really the point of to-go.
(1)Josh R.
Awesome turkey club, awesome fries! Good friendly service, I would have given them 5 stars but their Sweet N Low is always crystalized and never dissolves in the iced tea.
(4)Juan G.
Everything on the menu is great, but the buffalo chicken strips and mac n' cheese is a magical combo. It's not very healthy, but it's effing amazing. I've yet to have a bad thing on the menu and I've been here many times.
(4)Lauren C.
I would go here again. I have always been partial to going to mom and pop locations for a meal instead, but when you want to step it up a bit and throw out the diet, the Brook is a great place to go. Definitely check it out!
(4)Fred J.
Best Mac and Cheese in town. Bring your appetite. This place is awesome!
(5)A. C.
BBD is one of the places I miss most after moving away from Tulsa. It's a great breakfast place. Love love love their basic murrito (burrito!) with home fries. Cinnamon rolls the size of your head! Yummy Belgian waffles with fresh fruit! My fiancé LOVES their "ridiculously good" eggs Benedict. Service is always fast and friendly, and prices are reasonable.
(5)Garen M.
Good food, always good service. Casual dining without the hype of Chilis or Applebees. We eat here a lot and have always had a good experience. Their buffalo tenders or buffalo chicken sandwich is my favorite.
(4)Stephen Y.
(4)Jordan T.
(4)Jaclyn H.
This place has the best comfort food at great prices. The staff and management is top notch. This is a place that I frequently crave. Highly recommend!
(5)Vivian C.
(3)Paul P.
Thank you!
(4)Jane F.
(2)Brian B.
Good old fashioned American cooking, come here for sandwiches and beer but really there is nothing that isn't delicious on the menu. The wings are noteworthy, they are a little different than your standard wings but they are good nonetheless.
(3)Beau R.
(3)Olivia D.
(3)Carl C.
Brink the stank baby. OMG Chili cheese burger and chili cheese fries was unbelievable. Im a big boy and did not finish it all. Great place just wish was not a bar but a great atmosphere. A must try.
(4)Leah M.
My experience w/ "the Brook" wasn't at all what was expected. Horrible serive, horrible food and horrible atomsphere. Personally will not go back.
(1)Jeff P.
One Dish......... Southwest Chicken Nachos....... They will make you believe in a higher power. Nuff said ;^)
(5)Mindy V.
i haven't lived in tulsa for three years now and i am STILL dreaming about the MAC AND CHEESE!! i love the brook because of their late hours, the MAC AND CHEESE, and the busy bustling vibe. the place has a slightly different feel to it every time i go, yet the food stays delicious every time. this place was great for me and my college friends to hang out off-campus and have a comforting yet affordable meal. ok seriously, if anyone has the recipe for their MAC AND CHEESE, i would love to have it! i've looked everywhere online!
(4)Colte U.
(4)Candice G.
I love the brook! Good comfort food when I want to indulge. Best macaroni and cheese.
(4)David W.
I have always loved The Brook. Their food is great and the service is pretty good too. One of my favorite foods there is there is the buffalo chicken tenders. Spicy and tasty.
(4)Rebecca F.
(2)Asa K.
(3)Kristen W.
(5)Wayne P.
(3)Danny G.
(5)Courtney O.
(4)Martina S.
(4)Buck J.
4 stars for friendly staff and waitresses. Pretty generic American menu. Quality is always on par and little room for disappointment. A good standard restaurant if u want to know what u are getting.
(4)Lance G.
Great turkey burger wrap. Beer somewhat cold. Best fries! Nice patio and cool place to go for happy hour. Nice bar area and good variety of food...
(4)Carter H.
(1)Tyson H.
(3)Patrick D.
Hard to beat $1 beers on Tues nights even if it's 3.2 beer. Service was prompt yet snobby but the manager and bartender (Jan) were both great. I'd go there again.
(3)Brett B.
(4)E M.
(4)Laken G.
The Philly Cheese Wrap is the best, I get it every time I come here.
(4)dan g.
It was ok, but huge portions. I had a turkey burger thing that wasnt so good but the other choices looked good. My fries had like a pound of salt on them. Are you fat? You'll probably like something here.
(2)Sara M.
(2)Phillip M.
Vanilla, dinner joint. Always has people there, the name is easy to remember.
(3)Mikaela H.
I had the spicy chicken strips and mac'n'cheese. Yummy! Service was pretty good and it was a friendly atmosphere.
(4)K M.
(5)Katie V.
(4)Linh S.
(5)Stephen W.
(4)Heather D.
(3)Jenna H.
(4)Candice R.
Cheese fries are so good. Great place to go sit a have a few drinks. Bartenders are always personable!
(3)Anna F.
(5)Linsea H.
(5)Irena T.
When I crave deliciously crisp fries topped with cheese, bacon bits, chives, and jalapenos, the Brook is where I go. Pair that with their cheesey mac and cheese and you've got a meal. Portions here are HUGE, even for me.
(4)Gary M.
(5)Ralph U.
First timer, totally hooked. Mimosa and Chicken fried steak, I'll be back.we had to try the fried mushrooms too. They give you plenty of food. Staff was helpful and fun.
(5)Tyler B.

The food was pretty solid, nothing that blew me away.

Blackened Sandwich was great, but the loaded cheese fries made the meal! We are so full, we may have to spend the night.
