I had the carrot cake concrete. The cake was moist and delicious. It was blended in with the frozen custard. The combination was delicious. It wasn't too sweet. It was perfectly balanced.

Best frozen custard ever. Don't come on a weekend unless your want to be around a bunch of high school kids. It gets crazy busy.

I just moved here from Dallas TX, Andy's is 2 minutes from my house. I will need to join the gym because this was love at first taste!!!!! Just when I didn't think it could get any better the friendly girl in the drive through gave my dog a Puppy Cone! Charlie was elated:). Yum

Best ice cream ever. The snowmonster, bootdaddy & a peanut butter concrete with a hot fudge jack hammer aren't go-to's... Three go to's is a world record for me, it's just that good. And fast!!!

Andy's is a really cute custard place that has the "old time" feel with it's retro look. It actually reminds me a little of sonic except you can eat inside. My grandpa ordered a Butterfinger Concrete and my grandma ordered a Blackberry Concrete, which was actually really delicious. Made with fresh berries and only available in June/July. I had a hot fudge sundae with toasted, salted pecans and it was really wonderful. If the pecans were not toasted it would have definitely brought down the quality. One downside we noticed when we went is, although it is very clean, it smelled of bleach. I live for cleanly places, but I do not particularly enjoy walking into a restaurant and smelling bleach. Are they trying to cover up a crime scene? Did someone become sick? The world may never know... All in all- very great for a change- and we are happy to have tried it!

My girlfriend and I were having a craving for ice cream. We have tried Andy's at their location in Joplin, MO so we had some idea of what to expect. This location lived up to the quality we expected from Andy's. We pulled into the drive-thru and were the only car in line. We sat and looked over the menu for several minutes before pulling to the window to place our order. I had a concrete with Oreo cookie crumbles, hot fudge, and caramel. My girlfriend had chocolate custard with caramel and pecans. Our orders were made and given to us within 60 seconds of placing the order. It was like they had known what we were going to order and prepared it ahead of time. The custard was thick and creamy and had a good balance of toppings. I got a small and was glad for it because I wasn't able to finish all of it. It was incredibly rich. Exceptional service and great custard!

Holy crap, good stuff here folks. Not sure what's in the custard but this is as good as it gets! I haven't had a bad experience yet. The custard is so good it doesn't need extra mix ins but if you do add some it all blow your mind. You won't be disappointed

I go to Starworld just about every Friday to catch the newest movie out. I always come across this place & thought it was a burger joint for some odd reason, so I (somewhat) didn't pay it no mind. I looked it up to find out it was a frozen custard spot. For me to be a lover of ice cream, of course I had to check it out! The only thing that separates every other frozen custard place from themselves are their specialities, with that being said, I went ahead & tried the James Brownie Funky Jackhammer. I mean, the name caught my attention alone! Vanilla custard with peanut butter, brownies & hot fudge! Thank goodness they don't add whip cream, sometimes custard places get TOO top off happy with it, so that's a plus. I recommend for first-timers (or regulars for that matter) to get a small, it's more than enough. Their prices are just as the same as any other custard place but it's well worth it by far. The place is nice, you can eat inside or outside. The environment was cool. A nice custard place that I wouldn't mind visiting once or twice, maybe three times.

Who doesn't leave the gym and crave frozen custard? Well, I did yesterday and am happy to report I do not regret the decision to stop at Andy's for a sweet reward for completing my Spin class :) The bright lights will catch your eye and draw you in. There's car-hip service and a drive-through! Yesterday I went through the drive-through but I plan to go back and eat on the patio. The menu is enormous! I recommend looking through it before you commit to going through the drive-through so you don't become flustered. I almost took a turn for the flustered road but saw they offered coke floats with their vanilla custard and it spoke to me. The ratio of my coke to float was perfect. The custard stayed for about 20 minutes until I finished (I savor each sip/ bite.) Fast and friendly service/ clean atmosphere/ delicious treats? I think I am going to make it a goal to try everything on the menu!

Frozen custard and I have a history together. My parents were Ted Drew's when my mom's water broke and according to rumors, my dad may have been slow to getting her to the hospital because he wanted to finish what he had ordered. Then a few months after I was born, it was back to Ted Drew's where I apparently hate a whole cup of custard myself (it's now been determined that this moment of poor parenting is why I have a dairy allergy). My family moved to Springfield when I was 4 and Andy's soon became a staple. The place I remember in Springfield was always crowded and you could choose to sit on the concrete curb or in the back of your car. The custard was great too. Moving for school lead to some custard obtaining problems, especially since what other parts of the country call frozen custard is not the frozen custard I'm used to (looking at you Rita's). I'm glad that Tulsa has Freckles (which in a round about way is an offshoot idea from Andy's), but now I'm really glad that the giant cone of Andy's braces the south Tulsa skyline. Andy's custard is rich, thick and creamy. I find it much more flavorful than Freckles and I don't get overwhelmed by the choice of signature concretes or sundaes. The surprising feature at this location is the enclosed seating area, which while full, I wouldn't use to begin with. The wife and I ordered our custards and walked back to the car to enjoy our dessert in the trunk of my car...just like you are supposed to.

I love frozen custard. This past weekend, I had a bad craving, so I figured I might as well try the new frozen custard place!! The inside is really cute and clean with spacious seating. There are also seats outside if you want to enjoy the unusually "cool" summer we're having. The menu has a nice variety of things to choose from (custards, sundaes, malts, etc). There's also a good variety of concrete combos to choose from - all sounded awesome. I ended up choosing the key lime pie concrete. Supposedly there's a whole slice of key lime pie in each concrete. If that's the case, their slices must be miniscule slivers. With that being said, I wish there were more key lime chunks. The tartness of the (little that I had of) key lime was a nice balance to the sweetness of the custard (but if would've been better if there had been more!!!). Be prepared to fork over a lot of money. Small concrete combos are around $5. Overall, yes, good frozen custard, but I don't know if it's worth the difference in price compared to Freckles.

Great place to stop after the movie at Starworld 20. Lots of servers happy to see you. Fast service and nice place to hang out under the awning outside.
