We have been here a couple of times now when when were in the area. This is a good restaurant for a town this size. The staff is warm and friendly and they keep those tea glasses full. The food is basic country cooking with burgers and sandwiches. We both LOVE the Indian bread, yum-MY! Now, if I can just get that hateful hussy to sell me a coffee mug! My sister has one and I don't!

The kitchen was clean. The staff was nice (contrary to the name) The buffet was fresh. The floor was concrete and uneven. The location looked to be an old hardware store. In this small gateway mountain town of maybe 5000 people, this place seats 75 and probably had 40 diners at the end of lunch on Sunday. Yes Marie, I got a "hateful hussy" coffee mug ... I just couldn't help myself. I might have had better food. I might have seen better atmosphere. But 5 stars is for the total package. The Hateful Hussy Diner has the whole package.

Its probably the best breakfast I ever had - the staff is good and courteous. We were kind of oddballs there being from India - no one has seen any Indians (from india) in those parts yet they were friendly and nice. Food was simply superb - Omlette, hash browns and toast. Also had dinner there - awesome grilled chicken breast and the mashed potatoes are to die for...

This is my favorite food in Oklahoma. I have spent my summers in Talihina for the past 5 years and eat here as often as possible. When I am driving through Oklahoma towards Kansas or Arkansas I will detour to Talihina to get my Pam's fix! The food is perfect, price is spot on, and the wait staff remembers who we are even though we are not locals. They sell their coffee mugs, makes a great mug for home :) I'll keep coming here as long as they stay open.

Fantastic service - good food and prices - nice interior and a great location (if you're traveling between Dallas and Eureka Springs). What's not to love?

The name, Hateful Hussy Diner made me hesitant about eating here, but I'm so glad I did! The food was excellent, the prices were extremely low, and the service was the best ever! The ice tea was the best I had while I was in Oklahoma! I wish I could be there right now!

Love love love the hateful hussy diner!! Make sure when you go, pick up a t shirt or coffee mug! You'll want a souvenir!! I had the HH chicken sandwich!! It was great! My husband always gets the patty melt!!

When traveling between the Dallas and Fort Smith, Arkansas areas we enjoy taking the back roads rather than just I40 and Route 69, and one of our routes of choice runs through Talihena. Which takes you within 2 blocks of this restaurant, so it makes a nice stopping point. Which is what we did about two weeks ago. The food we had was OK, but not memorable. Nothing wrong, don't get me wrong. Just not special. Place was packed, and the burgers they were serving to nearby tables (we had not ordered them) looked very good. We'd eat here again.

We stopped here passing through on a motorcycle trip coming out of Paris, TX. Made it a planned stop based on the great yelp reviews. Full of locals (always a good sign). Nicely decorated inside. If you are passing through the area it's more than worth a stop. Not only is the food great but it's dirt cheap. Cheapest breakfast we had the whole trip. Not only that, it was great. The only fault I can really find with it is the gravy on the biscuits and gravy. No sausage in it I could detect at all. Basically just a cream gravy. However, the eggs were perfectly cooked. I ordered my usual "extra crispy" hashbrowns which were delivered perfectly extra crispy. The two riding partners raved on the grits (not my thing). Good bacon, nice big slices cooked right. But the best thing.. the toast was toasted ON THE GRIDDLE. Picked up the flavors and a bit of grease from the griddle. I wanted like 5 more slices of the toast. Outstanding stop. If I ever pass through this small town again, I'll stop.

Pretty good food considering the area. Although the food was pretty good it wasn't incredible. With that said, hateful hussie is pretty much the middle of no where and, due to the lack of solid competition, I think hateful hussie deserves four stars. (Note: I ordered one of their specialty chicken sandwiches and that is what this review is based off of, it was pretty good :) )

I know why they call it Pam's Hateful Hussy Diner. Our waitress wasn't very friendly but the food was good.

I love finding small town little diners. This is one of those! The atmosphere was very small town. Staff was friendly. Good selection anf variety of menu items. The burger and tots hit the spot.

First of all..what an awesome name. I never eat some place without checking yelp first but as soon as we saw the sign we pulled over. Our waitress wasnt very nice...but maybe thats the rule there? We had Indian Bread (so-so), a cheeseburger (very good) and a 4 steak finger basket where they added about 4 extra (yummy). Aside from the bread everything was quite tasty. My favorite part...50 cent tea. Everyone should have cheaper tea because its practically free to make. So..this would have been a three star review but 50 cent tea just pushed it up to 5. And yes..that might be impractical but 50 cent tea made my day.

Cute name. You will not have time to read all the cute stuff on the walls! Clean. Service is top notch and the food is the best.

I give the place 5 stars because of the atmosphere and the fact that the service is really good for a homestyle type of restaurant . Food is standard fare for a small town restaurant but it 's good ! The walls are decorated with all sorts of hilarious and sarcastic witticisms and this alone will keep you entertained while you're there . The place is also frequented by some of the eccentric locals too , one of whom I am friends with and was in town to visit for the first time . Don't forget to buy a coffee mug . How can you go wrong with a mug that says "hateful hussy" on the side ? They were out when I was there so I paid for one and she saw to it that she mailed it out to me !
