I personally love this place. Their buffet is absolutely great. I would highly recommend the catfish with tartar sauce also the fried chicken and meatloaf is great. The desert is something lacking. The staff is always friendly I truly enjoy eating here.

3 stars only because the food was okay. Service lacks. Lunch buffet out at 12am & server had to ask the kitchen staff if they could do breakfast for us. We ordered 2 eggs, over medium (were over easy), crispy hash browns & sausage (1 thin patty). Price was right but we never got a second cup of coffee. If you are hungry and want to have a less than good experience, stop; otherwise, keep driving....

Food and atmosphere were both good! I had the fried chicken & mashed potatoes with white gravy. Service was outstanding! Only complaint, the salad on the salad bar was a little wilted.

Let's be real - Stroud has very limited dining options. My mom and I were hungry and didn't want to drive over a town to have a decent meal so she recommended the lunch buffet at Ranch House (attached to the Best Western along 44). I'd never had it but I'm all about a buffet. On this particular Friday, the buffet was fried catfish, ribs, sausage, beans, corn on the cob, rolls, cornbread, egg noodles with chicken (aka chicken noodle soup), and a salad bar with lots of toppings. Everything I had was delicious, so much so that I made two trips to the meal part and one trip to the salad part. The sausage had awesome flavor, the beans were ranchero style, the corn on the cob tasted fresh, and the chicken noodle soup tasted just like my mom's. I enjoyed all of the toppings on the salad bar and only wished that they had honey mustard dressing (I think that's a Texas thing). I think they also had slices of pie and cake for dessert but I was too full from everything else to try any. Service was great - even though the waitresses didn't pick up our dirty plates, they were quick on the drink and napkin refills. Our bill was around $19 plus tip for two buffets and one iced tea.

Well I don't give out five stars very freely, I guess you could say I'm somewhat a food snob! Not on purpose, but I have worked in the restaurant business a few years of my life, and not to toot my own horn...but I'm a pretty good cook myself! In reality, I'm pretty easy to please, I love simple food, fresh ingredients, and my idea of perfect service is not having to ask for anything! So Ranch House is well deserving of five stars because they master all of these things! My husband and I usually dine here at least twice a month. My typical order consists of one biscuit and gravy, one pancake, hashbrowns, and a side of bacon...and my husband still looks at me every time I place my order like 'are you seriously going to eat all that?' which I do! I actually prefer their breakfast over some of the larger chain breakfast places in Tulsa. The atmosphere is a nice added bonus. It is tucked away in a Best Western hotel, but it had super high ceilings lined with rustic wood, cabin decor, and an overall small town feel. Bottom line is they have wonderful breakfast, and one of these days we will actually go for their lunch buffet which we have been told always has fried chicken and catfish.

I visited this place twice for dinner before settle on the 2 stars. The first night was good not great. I got the chicken fried chicken and enjoyed it. I enjoyed it enough to come back and try the chicken wings as an appitizer (over cooked) and the fried chicken. The waitress explained the cooking time for the chicken would be 20 mins. Before the 20 mins my meal arrived and 2 of the 4 pieces were bloody. I refuse to return to this place. The cook should not have rushed the meal. Due to his rush, they lost a customer.

Pancakes and syrup. Biscuits and gravy. Yum. Haven't been here for lunch yet but I saw them bringing out fried chicken and catfish to the buffet. I love the rustic woodwork for the ceiling and the staff is friendly as well.
