Good place to drop by off Rt 66 or I-44; it is NOT in a dark, dank place like one reviewer says. Main drag of Stroud...........of course not much TO Stroud really, especially since the Outlet Mall was blown away by a tornado YEARS ago. But the barbecue is fine enough. Had their lunch special with the "add a rib". Pulled pork was seasoned well, smoked flavor as was the rib. Rib big and tender enough that the bone was even breaking apart. But not boiled tender........smoked tender. Good value. Friendly service. Small town feel. Sauce (hot and mild choices) are good. And their french fry seasoning adds to the flavor. I would not necessarily go MILES out of my way to eat at the place but if you are traveling between Oklahoma City and Tulsa, it's definitely worth taking the break.

Aside from the location of this place being in the desolate, hick filled fields of chiggers and bad karma (aka Oklahoma) This place has the ultra dank BBQ, unlike any I have had anywhere else Bloody castrated bull never tasted so good

A pretty good place to eat and even though it's a bbq place I still get the chicken fry FWM!!! BTW the mashed potatoes are mixed with instant other wise you would have received 5stars....

Great service! I had all you can eat ribs and sides for only 11.99. It was worth 20. I will be back for sure. Excellent smokey BBQ!

Do yourself a favor and keep driving. This place is dirty and the food is bad! We were traveling by and starving so we stopped. How did this place ever get decent ratings? The brisket was literally crunchy. If we don't get sick I will consider it a win. Wow!!

Dropped in Five Star last night while visiting a friend's property outside of Stroud and was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. Ordered the 8 oz. sirloin, medium rare and "by gawd", it came out a perfect medium rare. Unique in this day and age for sure! Will definitely be visiting this spot should I be in the area again.

Stopped in off the highway for some local flavor. Great lunch deals, and great tastes! The BBQ sauce was delicious and the extra rib for $1.50 that I added to my meal was falling right off the bone! The nice touch was the whole scallion that was placed on top of my plate! Highly recommend this local BBQ joint! Also, the local decor was entertaining!

Just picked up a loaded baked potato with brisket to go! It was delicious but I'm not sure how you ruin a baked potato. I didn't realize they had a drive thru so I went in to pick up my order....restaurant looked clean and everyone was friendly!

Not very impressed with this place. My husband thinks their portions are teeny tiny (barely put any brisket on the sandwich). Overall flavorless bbq. It is sad when you wish they would drown the meat with sauce--the meat should have its own great flavor. Wish we had picked another place further down the road...

Looking for good BBQ? Look no further...... Right off of 66 in Stroud lies this great little place..... If you are in to good BBQ, get their smoked chicken... Either in a sandwich, a dinner, or whatever fits your fancy, get it.... The baked beans are good as well, and the coleslaw was decent... I would return many times, and do continue to frequent this location during hunting season... I have also tried their pulled pork, which is tender, great flavor and has some good pieces to it... Not over smoked, great amount of flavor and juicy as it comes..... Try it out for a night, you just might like it and return like I do every weekend.....

With all of the great reviews I was really expecting more. I ordered the 3 meat sampler with the hot link, sliced brisket, rib, and turkey. The link was just a notch above a hot dog, the sliced beef brisket was like shoe leather, and the turkey was so dry I think it may have been left over from last Thanksgiving. The ribs were the best part of the meal. They were flavorful, fell off the bone, and meaty. If you are desperate for BBQ and have to eat here don't get anything other than the ribs.

Been here a number of times for lunch. I sat in front of ESPN and was always well taken care of. Haven't tried a big variety of items but the ribs were delicious. I remember one day of the week is all you can eat ribs. It made it hard going back to work.
