I'm really glad this place opened; there are so few places to get a breakfast in Stillwater, especially places that aren't chain restaurants and especially with Mom's place being closed. I ordered a big breakfast with eggs, hashbrowns, orange juice, and a cinnamon roll. It was really good! The coffee was good and the cinnamon roll was great! Warm and soft, with sugary icing. My fiance ordered an omelet and thought it wasn't super special, but was good, overall. The service was great and it was clean and nice inside. There are several TV's that will keep you occupied if you're too tired to talk to your companions. I'll definitely go back for brunch sometimes. It seems like a great addition to Stillwater's 'scene'!

Friendly service; great food served fast in cute downtown district. You'll want to walk around a bit after the pumpkin pie pancakes - Delish!

Had it for the first time this weekend during homecoming. Good hot food and prompt, friendly service. Not much of a waiting area so beware you may not have a place to sit if there's a wait.

Pleasant and efficient/effective service, healthy and not-so-healthy breakfast and lunch menu, and Stillwater's only smoke-free classy hip spot for breakfast. Rachel is a great server. The pumpkin pancakes are the best thing in this world, and to counter balance - go with the egg white omelette with cottage cheese and tomatoes. Go to Granny's before 9am for free coffee!

By far one of the best places to eat in Stillwater. The service is amazing- they treat you like family. There's always somewhat of a line... But it's SO worth it. Or you can always call in and pick up your food- that's usually quicker! You definitely have to try their cinnamon rolls (as an appetizer of course). Their breakfast is top notch and their lunch is good as well.

I've already rated Shortcakes, and Granny's is certainly in the same ballpark of food - breakfast (even the word invites happy feelings). In overall feeling, Shortcakes is to Granny's as Wafflehouse is to Denny's. The first has more grease; the second has more charm. Both have good food. The Cowboy Breakfast has a potato base (mine was hashbrowns) with onions, peppers, and cheese on top of that. And an egg to order on top of that. I ate it all. The waitress was very kind, and my mug overfloweth. I had a constant supply of coffee, free coffee. Yes! Before 9am there's free coffee, so wake up early and get some Granny's. It's worth a try.

This place was skeptical from the outside however, once we walked in the waitress who greeted us was so friendly and amazing We were seated promptly and received our drinks quick put our order in and it came out within reasonable time. The veggie omelet was absolutely tasty along with their coffee and cinnamon bun. Before we left she asked if we wanted any drinks to go and we were off. I highly recommend this place.

Best breakfast in Stillwater! Not that there's much to compare it to, but Granny's is amazing. My sister and I discovered it after attempting to venture to IHOP one Saturday morning at 11:30...with a line out the door and not-so-great service we are accustomed to there, we knew it'd probably be a couple of hours before we got any food. So we ventured to Granny's and it's now my go-to breakfast spot in Stillwater! Even when they're on a wait, it's never too long. The food is awesome and the service is super friendly. Most recently, I had the California omelette with bacon, tomatoes, avocado and Jack cheese served with sour cream. It was delicious. I was skeptical of sour cream with an omelette but it was great! My boyfriend had the country benedict, served with sausage patties and topped with gravy. One of his eggs was overcooked, but the other was a perfect runny poached egg. I still have to give five stars though because I LOVE Granny's. :) If you're in town for anything, definitely go here. The wait will be shorter than IHOP and the food is a million times better.

Very good food! Among us we had chocolate chip pancakes, bacon/tomato eggs Benedict, and cinnamon roll. My eggs Benedict could have been served slightly hotter and I got icing on my fingers from the bottom of the plate. But the service was fast, friendly and worth going. If you are a little claustrophobic it might be tight in there for you.

My sister lives in Stillwater and recommended Granny's for breakfast, and I'm so glad she did. Friendly staff, local people, diner prices, hot coffee, and great food... I'm sold. At my sister's recommendation, we decided to order a cinnamon roll to share while waiting for our entrees. She is normally an egg-white and veggies kind of girl, so I took this as an omen that great things were about to happen. And then they did. The waitress delivered a hot, gooey, plate of doughy cinnamon goodness that, on the first bite, made me immediately regret agreeing to share. After we all but licked the last bit of cinnamon off the plate, I received my order of Cowboy Egg's Benedict, a biscuit with sausage, poached eggs, and gravy. See attached picture, commence drooling sequence. If you are going to go all out for breakfast, this is how to do it. Also, forget everything I've ever written about breakfast potatoes. These guys, crispy and heavily seasoned, are the ones I want. So good. You have to go if you're in Stillwater.

Awesome. 'Merica at its finest. I went with Cinnamon roll French toast combo and it was perfect. Not too much sugar for a coma but enough to really get to try it. Sweet people too.

We went here for brunch on a Sunday. I would categorize this as diner food. I ordered the Cowboy (on hashbrowns with poached eggs) and subbed avocado for the meat. It was good / fine. My aunt's breakfast potatoes were very good and I would recommend getting those if you order the Cowboy. I had a biscuit on the side and it was delicious! We split a cinnamon bun and it was good. Overall, good breakfast diner food. Glad I went once but don't have a deep desire to visit again.

Visited on: multiple dates in 2013 and 2015 This is solid traditional American fare. I've had the following: Cinnamon Roll Cowboy Club Sandwich with avocado and French fries Cowboy Skillet with sausage links, fried eggs over easy, and Texas toast Breakfast Mash-Up with fried eggs over medium All were very good. The atmosphere feels a tad on the sterile side for a place that's supposed to be homey, but it's otherwise comfortable. In a city that's lacking in good traditional American food, Granny's Kitchen stands out. My biggest complaint is that they don't serve dinner, meaning that, as of this writing, Stillwater still doesn't have a non-chain traditional American restaurant that's open for dinner, aside from Eskimo Joe's.

By far the best breakfast place in Stillwater. Their prices are great especially for the amount of food that you get. I've yet to have a bad breakfast at Granny's. I still need to try something from their lunch menu. I recommend the Pig Sandwich or one of their many Omelets.

Pretty good breakfast food, excellent service. Husband's pig biscuit and fried potatoes were much better than my "Drew's Special." I could not believe how quickly they seated people & got food out to us for how crowded it was on a Saturday morning. I also really appreciated that they served black coffee at a reasonable temperature, instead of boiling hot.

Good, affordable good. Excellent service. It certainly wasn't the best Eggs benedict I've had but not bad. There were a ton of locals eating lunch here which is usually a pretty good sign.

Service was great, Atmosphere comfortable. Cool downtown cafe local hang out. Breakfast was good except did not like after taste of fried eggs. Not sure what they used to cook eggs in but I did not like that part even though the eggs were perfectly cooked the way I like them. The simple breakfast does not include sausage or bacon, have to pay extra, so read menu well.

Granny's Kitchen is a simple sorta hole-in-the-wall diner down on old Main Street in Stillwater. The ambiance is early 1970's-19780's cafeteria with old style cafeteria chairs and tables. There really isn't much in terms of romantic decor. BUT the FOOD is REALLY GOOD, You'll find Huge portions, friendly service, good tasting stuff. My wife's Fajita Salad was HUMONGOUS. The salad sits in a large bread loaf size fried flour tortilla container. Seriously, you could bring 5 friends, add tortilla wrappers and have a meal for everyone. Meanwhile I ordered the Pig Biscuit- a pair of biscuits covered with pork, sausage, bacon and cheese. Choose the hash browns with onions green peppers and cheese. Their sausage gravy is good, but not the best. All in all this is a really good choice for breakfast or lunch.

Good food. Friendly staff. Clean dining space and restrooms. There's really not much to say. My friends and I went here for our Sunday morning ride. I ordered a Denver omlette with no cheese, hash browns and white toast. Everything was fresh and cooked properly. Only the toast was a bit too crunchy but I forgot to mention that I like my toast lightly toasted so no big deal. I would definitely come here again. Parking is on the street and there wasnt much of it. We crammed our 3 bikes in 1 spot across the street.
There are very few breakfast options in Stillwater. I've tried them all, and this is one of my favorite. Hole in the wall with great service and good food at an excellent value. Don't miss it. I will definitely return.

Staff is extremely nice and very fast but don't always listen very well. My orders are often wrong or when I ask about items they can't answer the questions without asking someone else. I've never eaten anything other than breakfast but the pig biscuit is very good.

Finally!!! A go-to breakfast spot in Stilly! This is just what was missing from Stillwater, a good old fashioned breakfast diner in a college town. I had one of their omlets, it was quite good, with a side of potatoes, and came with pancakes too. Very large portions, and the coffee wasn't bad either. Can't wait to go back. And for the hungover undergrad, Granny's should be a staple IMO

Great breakfast / lunch joint in the midst of the downtown area. Went with a group and was promptly seated in an area off the main dining room. Service from the waitress was incredibly quick and friendly, and it took almost no time to receive our orders. This place has a good range of items for the first half of the day. I ordered Chicken Fried Steak, while the rest of the table ordered a mix of breakfast and lunch items. I wasn't disappointed in my entrée, and sampled their cinnamon roll french toast. Wow. I must come back again. It's one of the few places I actually want to attempt to try the remainder of the menu. The food is quite good, and the service is as well. Props to the owner (Mohammed, I think?) as well - met him at our table and was a friendly guy. Best wishes for this restaurant, especially since I want to be a return customer!
