After eating lunch today I feel that I have been charged with spreading the gospel of Mac's. A calling that I intend to fulfill starting right now. I know that it is kind of a long drive for some but it is worth it. I'd highly suggested setting up a franchise in Broken Arrow but I think that's getting a head of myself. Nice people, very friendly and the customers all seemed to know each other too. Ribs: The kind of Ribs that inspire you to try and make this at home. While at the same time almost counter-productively making you think BBQ is some kind of VooDoo magic that you do not and will not ever obtain. In other words they are, "Slap YO Momma good." Sliced Brisket: Very tender and beefy with a nice complimentary BBQ sauce that did not take away from the flavor. Fresh sliced to order just like it should be. Pulled Pork: Had some bark and was not mushy nice texture and flavor. Smoked Bologna: Good stuff always been a fan and always will be. I think I tried every meat on the menu today and it was all good, in order to make this less confusing I'll sum up. Get the ribs, sliced brisket and bologna comes with two sides. Take your pick. EAT. ENJOY. Then next time you come back try something else because you will be back.

Probably the best BBQ I've had since I moved to Oklahoma. My girlfriend and I each got the huge 3 meat plate. Everything was great. The sides were awesome and the BBQ frito pie is definitely worth mentioning...its addictive. Also the bread pudding was by far the best we've had. We will definitely be back. Great service, Awesome food and rockin blues music... The only other thing I wanted was a cold beer but other than that 10 out of 10.

I love this joint! The food is ALWAYS excellent! The chopped beef is the best I have ever had! Service is very quick and friendly. The dining area can be cramped...but...so worth it!!! The Mac sandwich is perfection. I toss some Mac's Hot BBQ Sauce on it...Ok. NOW its PERFECT! So worth the trip! Hey you Harley riders...make a point to use Mac's as a reason to ride to Skiatook!

This is by far one of the best barbecue places I have been to in Oklahoma and in many other states. Unlike other places, Macs also has barbecue ham and turkey and they are great. Ribs are very mouthwatering and quite tasty. I've been going to macs off and on now for about 30 years and they have yet to disappoint. Their bread pudding is also quite delicious!!

We walked in @ 7:45 on Friday night; 15 minutes before closing. We were treated like family. The ribs were awesome! The bread pudding with rum sauce was brought out to us hot when they observed we were close to being finished. The campfire potatoes and sliced beef were delicious. You'll like the sauce and service! It was clean and what a great use of antique Coke memorabilia.

Never heard of Mac's but after a presentation at the local high school I inquired of a great place to eat. Several told me to check it out and so I did. Boy am I glad I did! The funny thing is, that even though the BBQ was good the bread pudding was AWESOME! I ordered the Mac sandwich. This behemoth was chopped beef, smoked bologna, and 2 hot links. The sauce had a sweetness to it, so I HAD TO add some of Mac's homemade hot BBQ sauce. It took that sandwich to an entirely different level of awesomeness! I was also impressed as it seems that most of what they serve is on a wax paper. This made cleanup easy and allowed me to slather on the sauce and dip my sandwich in the drippings on the paper. Now let's talk about the bread pudding. I LOVE bread pudding. What makes a bread pudding is the butter rum sauce and it MADE THIS AWESOME! The wonderful lady behind the counter brought it to me after she saw that I was finished with my Mac sandwich. It was HUGE an topped with whipped cream sitting in a moat of delicious butter rum sauce. I gingerly slathered this sauce all over the bread pudding and took my first bite. My taste buds screamed with excitement and I immediately went in for another amazing bite of awesomeness! The flavor of the spiced bread and the butter rum sauce took my taste buds on a journey to flavor town. It was amazing! Some say bread pudding is not bread pudding unless there are raisins in it. I disagree, even though this amazing conception of deliciousness didn't have raisins, I never missed them and to be honest prefer for them to not be in my bread pudding. I also met Adam, the owner of Mac's, and he was one of the nicest individuals that I have met. Hearing his history and how he came to own the restaurant was inspiring. Knowing that his passion for food comes out in its flavor makes me want to come back again and again, even if I have to drive 30 mins to get there. Great work to everyone at Mac's Barbecue! I will be back, and can't wait to have more of your awesome bread pudding!

My husband just said there was a hair on top of his sandwich, I don't know why he didn't tell me at the time :-(

Cute little hometown type BBQ place. Prices were reasonable for the amount of food you get. Though $6 for a sandwich and nothing else is super high. The frito pie and bread pudding were both delicious and very well priced. Besides that, no real complaints. If we're in town, we'll probably stop by again.

Heard about Mac's from a friend of mine, drove from Tulsa just to try it... was very pleased... I ordered the 3-Meat Combo, Ribs, Pork, & Polish. The Ribs were fall off the bone outstanding. Pulled pork was very tender and delicious as well. Polish Kielbasa is one of my favorites, so I always try to order that, loved it too!! For my sides I got Beans & Campfire Potatoes... next time I think I will double up on the potatoes, they were that good!! Was gonna try the Bread Pudding for dessert but was too full, next time for sure, and gotta say the staff was very friendly too... definitely going back soon!

The ribs, potatoes, and pasta salad are great! We enjoyed strawberry cobbler and bread pudding too.

Always great. I always get the ribs and they are great. Going to try the bologna next.

Ohhh man this bbq place hit the spot. Everything is bomb. Best place to get bbq thus far.

Their smoked turkey is excellent. The brisket, bologna, & ribs are good, too. The sausage was really greasy. The baked beans and campfire potatoes are ok.

Only been there once had the chopped brisket sandwich which was delicious. I will be going back soon to try their other dishes.

Found this little place hiding next to a donut shop in Skiatook. I've heard it's good but never tried until today....glad I did! The ribs were pull off the bone, not fall off into a pile of mush...just right. Chopped beef excellent. The sauce is very basic but honestly the meats are good without the sauce. Campfire potatoes are a must try! All in all we tried almost all the meats and none disappointed. The "Mac" sandwich is a big ugly pile of meaty goodness and will satisfy your biggest appetite. Staff is friendly and the owner was right there talking to customers as they were in line. Will be back!

You can tell a lot about a BBQ joint by the smell that surrounds the place. It was obvious this place was going to be good by the amazing smoked aroma that tempts you on your way to the door. I have to admit, I've drove by this place for years and have wrote it off based on the outside appearance. Nothing personal but it is nothing out of the ordinary and is easily passed if you are not following your nose. Once inside, the hole in the wall dive with very little seating, surprisingly pulls off a fantastic version of In-your-face Oklahoma BBQ. Nothing fancy just delicious food done right and served to the masses. I'll be back...a lot!!!
