Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

WOW! Sam and Ella's Chicken Palace. There are two locations (only two)? This hometown fare is mucho deliciouso!!!! I know, I know, spanish and italian languages, together in the same sentence. That type of fare is fusion. The food at S & E's is strictly Italian. It tastes as if it was made by the Godfather himself. It is excllente'. I tried both locations. The one in Talequah and the one in Pryor.Their crust is killer! It is light, and airy in the middle, but krispy, crusty on the bottom of the pie. The pie is as close to perfect as is any culinarian or foodie will be able to experience. Get some-NOW!!!!! Crust-Just like real Italian focaccia w/o the olive oil. This pizza deserves a five star rating, anywhere in the world. The sauce has a sweetness, but not overtly so. The sauce lends a genuine gourmet flair to the pie. This wonderful pizza would hold up and blow them away in Italy! Ihave, as a 5 star gourmet Chef, worked in real Sicilian (Palermo's) restaurants run by real Italians (Tulsa-Corportae Chef). I have never had pizza as good as S& E's, anywhere. I mean that whole heartedly (after 30 years in the restaurant industry). They are #1, in pizzaology, and far ahead of the pack. We ordered a 16 inch large with a free six pack of diet Coke. 20$ and very well worth the price. I fed three and could have fed five, easily! My parents and I got the 1/2 Italian sauasage and 1/2 Canadian bacon w/ mushroom. My parents said it was absoulutely some of the best pizza they have ever had and I agree. The toppings are magnanimous. I am talking Gigante'. They are very liberal.with the toppings. The ratio would be 2/3 toppings to 1/3 crust. The crust is braided, all the way around. I worked at Rocklahoma several years ago. I discovered S and E's pizza there. The employees I met Friday, April 18th at 6 p.m. Sam Ring, Sarah Cowan, Emily Still and Marina Blackfox are the cogs in S and E's fabuloso pizza pie machine. They rolled out my dough and expertly tossed the dough for me. I was totally delighted and mesmerized by the process. They were jamming and very professsional, friendly and warm. I felt totally and fully at home. They are precious and salt of the earth culinary profesionals. They are going to jam when they move to downtown Pryor, the sooner the better! The rocklahoma fans ask for them by name. They, S and E's, will grow and expand because they are literally, I believe, in the top three pizza kingdoms in the USA! They have been in Southern Living's magazine with a five star rating. They are unbelievable and very, very GOOD!!! I cannot do Talequah in this piece. It (Talequah) deserves it's own, separate write up. Ok, so, the pleasure of our meal reaches virtuallyindescribale heights of pleasure. I am smiling, while righting this Pryor article. A 24 hour smile is hard to attain, but it will have been done when we reach that segment of time. The only way to improve it, because Italian food is always better the next day, would be to sprinkle a dose of fresh and finley chopped italian herbs on it, before re-heating on a pizza stone. What a brunch-the next day and I cannot wait. Sam and Ella's food is five star heaven. Order it, pick it up and you will not get it home w/o munching on the way to the house.

We all know I love pizza. Sometimes, when I'm feeling like a regular human, I go to the places here in Langley: Gambino's, VIP, etc. And they are very good. They are Regular Pizza with Good Sauce. But sommmmetimes, I want PIZZA. Like, serious pizza with STUFF on it. YEAH. So when it's one of those times, I make the 35 minute drive to Pryor and share a pizza with my 91-year-old Granny. A large pie feeds us for days. We get the veggie pizza. It's more like Veggies with Pizza, not Pizza with Veggies. That's how many veggies they pile on it. The sauce is very good and if it were not a little too sweet I'd probably have to go ahead and give 5 stars but I'm kind of a sauce snob. Yummy crust. Eat your Veggies with Pizza and save the warm crust for dessert--just drizzle a little honey on it DO IT NOW. So good. Carry-out only; are they still trying to move downtown or did that get put on the back burner?

What amazing pizza!!!! We found this place by using Yelp and once again we were not let down. The outside was a little intimidating to go in because we were in an unkempt parking lot and the door was dark so you couldn't see inside. Once there we found that the location was take out only. We ordered a large supreme pizza (with a free six pack of soda) which we were told could feed the three of us for two meals. We found this was actually true due to the amount of toppings put onto the pizza! The flavor was GREAT! The only challenge we had was that the crust couldn't maintain the weight of the toppings.

Oh my lord. This place is amazing. We have the run of the mill pizza places here in town and the quality is just sub-par (Except for Simple Simon's, You guys still rock.) We have heard of Sam and Ella's for some time now and always just assumed they are pricey; however, the price is so worth it. When you order pizza from them, you are getting pizza. A large will run you about $20 but you can feed your whole family with it. It's a 16 inch pizza, so you don't have to get two or three pizzas like with the other guys. Plus, you get a free six pack of pop. We had their Supreme, and their Sloppy pie and those things are loaded. A slice of pizza is heavy because of all of the great stuff on it. Plus, if you like Spinach Artichoke dip, get their Arti Wrap... it's the dip in a calizone and it is to die for. They don't deliver but they are fast to get everything ready. I highly recommend them. They will moving to main street soon so that should help them get more exposure. Right now they are on the edge of town with no dining facilities.

If you want truly great pizza go here. These are not paperthin, no sauce, no flavor pies. These are sophisticated but manly. Great crust thats just the right thickness, plenty of cheese, actual sauce thats rich and delicious. They incorporate quality toppings on their specialty pizzas that one could dare call gourmet for Pryor.
