So you know what Lone Star is, you get a steak. I have filet mignon lots of places and have to say the one here was pretty tasty without any help from sauces. I just wish they had a better beer selection and you get no presentation at all. Its good food, but its just nothing memorable.

Service and food has gone downhill. So frustrating, I used to like eating here. Seems like the last couple times I went there the food was over done. Bread was not fresh either

Had lunch there today. Restaurant was clean, staff was friendly, food was good, and the prices were fair. Will definitely go back.

The steaks were cooked perfectly. The margaritas were great and so was the service. We will be back.

Arrived to celebrate daughters birthday. After being seated, we waited for several minutes for someone to approach. We had decided what to order and still waited, and waited! A waiter passed by, the hostess saw us looking at her to get help and a manager tried to walk by but could not pass between our table and those at the bar. Not a word. We got up to leave when another family was seated in same bar area and the waiter who had passed us 20 min earlier promptly came to take their order.

Lonestar has great steaks and seafood and is always consistent. My server Dallas gave us one of the best experiences we've had at a restaurant.

Hadn't been to Lone Star in years because the last time around left plenty to be desired. I checked more recent reviews on Yelp and found a few good ones. I figured I would give it a shot. Aside from the staff confusion and disorganization at the door and a 20 min wait for no apparent reason we were finally seated. From there on it was a great dining experience. I had steak of course, with a salad and a cup of chili. It was cooked perfectly, the chili was great and it was all very reasonable. I would go back here again.

Four of us went for a birthday dinner. Our server Tiffany showed many signs of either great training or great experience. She was very good and always saying the right things. My biggest complaint, and I don't think this falls on the server, is that we waited quite a while for the salads, and then immediately after they were delivered to the table, the main courses were served. Their booths are not big enough to support two courses at a time. And, I would really rather enjoy my salad before the main course. Everyone said their steaks were cooked to their order, and the baked potatoes were hot out of the oven. Coordination of the courses would have raised their score.

Doesn't deserve one star. Server dropped the whole tray of drinks all over me on my birthday. No meal comp. the manager didn't even come by to apologize. Haven't been back since.

I stayed at the hotel next door and decided to have dinner here tonight. I don't understand the bad reviews. I was very wary about eating here after reading them, but I'm glad I gave it a chance. My review will sort of compare it against Outback, since they are very similar. Ok, so it is a Thursday evening, and I went for dinner at 5:30pm so it wasn't very crowded. Start with the service. It was excellent. Quick and friendly. Absolutely no complaints. Maybe the early dinner time had something to do with it or maybe they have gotten better, either way, I was happy. Now the food. I ordered the equivalent of the "Outback Special." A 6 oz. bacon wrapped sirloin (medium), a wedge salad, and steamed spinach. I get the green beans at Outback but was happy to see spinach on the menu and it was very good. Ok, the salad came out, it was a typical wedge with tomatoes, blue cheese and dressing. I skipped the blue cheese dressing for balsamic. The salad was missing bacon like other places have, so I asked for it and the server happily brought me a side of chopped bacon. I was surprised it doesn't normally come on it. The salad was good. Not as good as the one I get at the other restaurant, but still good. I guess the dressing is just not quite as tasty. The steak was cooked the way I wanted it, and to be honest, it was one of the most tender sirloins I ever had. It was very good. I'm still a fan of the seasoned steaks at Outback, but this was a good steak. The only thing I would do differently is I will skip the bacon wrap. The steak had a certain taste to it that I couldn't put my finger on, and it turned out to be the bacon. It wasn't bad, and I'm sure others probably love it, but I just prefer the natural taste without it. I still enjoyed it. I forgot to mention that they serve rolls with a sweet butter (similar to Texas Roadhouse). Price was $11.99. I would go back again without a doubt.

We went here for our anniversary after driving 21 hours from California. Hubby had the smoked steak, I had the ribeye and jr had the kiddy burger. Everyone loved their food. The drinks were well made and the service was stellar!!!!!
