A rainy Tuesday evening and I found myself at Sweis Greek Cafe I ordered a junior hero plate with french fries. The fries were crispy and tender.. Very well done examples of golden brown and delicious. The Gyro meat was mildly spiced with a moist texture and meaty taste that redeemed my faith in the concept of gyro meat. The pita bread was a warm soft bready bed for the meat The Tzaki sauce was a cool creamy and cucumbery, ever so slightly tangy accompaniment to the lamby meatloaf. The veggies were fresh and crisp. They made a high quality salad on its own. The Feta strewn across the veggies was a highlight of the plate. I was pleased with the taste and quality of the meal. I definitely recommend Sweis as among the best Greek food OKC has to offer.

The gyros have great flavor, and the veggies are fresh and crisp. I prefer onions, tomatoes, yogurt cucumber sauce, and feta cheese on my gyros, but they serve theirs with lettuce, tomato, onion, and sauce on the side. The pita bread is surprisingly made by the company at their bakery location south of 23rd on May. That bakery location has a bunch of imports there such as fresh feta cheeses, kalamata olives, spices, teas, hookah paraphernalia, canned stuff, baklava, and they interestingly sublet a portion of their bakery for mexican sweet breads. They have much more like canned/bottled drinks and dry goods. The interior is well kept, and the building appears to have been an old burger king or mcdonalds. The interior is comfortable for dining, and the area is getting way better now that the crosstown has been moved south of the restaurant.

I was looking at my review distribution, and decided I was low on 2 star reviews, because I tend to research restaurants before I go, and I don't eat at places I am not at least expecting to be good very often. As I was trying to remember the last time I had food bad enough to rate 2 stars the memory of this place came up in my mind. The other day I was on my way to the airport, craving Gyros, and I needed to grab something quick. So I pulled into the drive through. Speaking of, this area of town looks a bit rough. I was ready to get out of there. The food was ready relatively quickly. I ordered a Gyro and fries. So I can only critique those items. The gyro was really big/full of meat. The problem is the meat is very bland, and there wasn't anything else put in the gyro that could make up for that. It just tasted like the McDonalds of gyros. The fries were big, but not cooked properly and consequently weren't very great either. I wouldn't recommend this place. If you want a killer gyro, go to "Let's do Greek". Way better.

I went here for lunch and it just "ain't" good. I got the gyro sandwich and fries. The gyro had no real taste. The cucumber sauce was equally bland. The fries were super greasy and not crispy at all. I hate a soggy fry. The only plus is the employees were nice. Therefore, the 2 stars.

The gyros are okay. Just have tomatoes and lettuce on them. I like feta cheese and black olives but they did not have any. If you're looking for a quick place for lunch then this is it. It is like a McDonald's for gyros.

I've always been a fan of Sweis', almost exclusively due to the locations in both malls, but was in the area and was craving gyros. I usually get the "low carb" option which is gyro meat with a Greek salad. I enjoy their salad dressing. I ordered in the drive-thru and it only took a couple of minutes. You could tell the meat hadn't been sliced too recently but it still tasted alright. Not bad at all for the price and a quick bite. It doesn't look like it'd be too nice inside and I most likely will never dine in house, but it's a good option for the area for something different as far as fast food is concerned.

Slightly disappointed. Quick service, but based on the reviews I expected more flavorful gyro meat. It may be because I caught them an hour before closing (apparently this is a lunch place) but the place was completely empty, even in the back, when I came in. My gyros were microwaved and were a bit soggy. I ate at Peacock the day before and their meat was better. However the tzaziki here was better. Both locations were quite unauthentic in presence and flavor. Next time I'm in town, I'll be trying other greek restaurants.

I've been through the drive up twice for a quick lunch. One time I got the low carb combo which was really good. It was a greek salad with a side of the gyro meat. So delicious! The other time I got a gyro combo with fries. The gyro itself was very good and had tons of meat. The fries were piping hot, but tasted unseasoned and bland. I tried adding salt to them, but they still lacked flavor. Overall, this place is quick and reasonably priced. I will definitely be back for the low carb combo again sometime soon.

Fast, filling, flavorful, are apt descriptions for Sweis Greek restaurant. I took my daughter and granddaughter there yesterday for our monthly lunch outing. It is located in an commercial/industrial area, so there isn't any elegant ambiance but due to loads of windows and no music it is light and airy and easy have family chats. We all relished the Gyro platters which were satisfying but not exceptional lunches. All the other customers, probably local workmen kept the place pretty busy. It is clean and neat....

This place is not bad. For gyros on the double this place can't be beat. The meat isn't very flavorful, but they don't over spice or salt it. This was a surprisingly good discovery. The place doesn't look clean, but its the sacrifice of fast food I suppose. Its in an awesome location, right on the corner of Reno and Western (off the highway). Try the number 1 combo! Its awesome.

Drove by this place by happenstance the place was clean , restrooms clean , the food was fresh fast and tasty I have tried a lot of Greek food and this was place was pretty good the coffee was good too and the baklava was very large and very good most place give little tiny pieces not here , by far the largest portion I have seen yet , good prices my meal with dessert and drink was less than 11 bucks I was extremely satisfied .

Good for fast food Greek food. The meat was tender and I thought had great flavor. The falafel and hummus was okay. The falafel was a little too crunchy. The salad was good but a bit too vinegary for me. Overall, what you would expect from a fast food place: nothing spectacular but better than McDonald's!
